Talking to , Shatner detailed rather precisely what would need to happen for h♍im to appear in as Captain ღKirk for the first time in 26 years. 

"If they wrote it and it made reasonable sense then I’d love to [play Captain Kirk]," the actor said. But if he's going to come back as Ca🔯ptain Kirk, Shatner wants it to be a proper revival in a feature film. 

"I wouldn’t do a series," h🎐e clarified. "If the role was written properly and it wasn’t a cameo or gratuitous; bei𒈔ng there just to show my face, I wouldn’t do that."
