Whacked into Oblivion
Elder Scrolls IV stops The Godfather getting made
Tuesday 28 March 2006
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has pushed its way to the top of the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:all-formats sales chart in the UK, overtaking EA's The Godfather and Sony's Buzz! The Big Quiz in the process.
We always knew that Oblivion was🎉 riding high on people's most-wanted lists, but the finished article has managed to trump one of EA's biggest new properties, centredꦆ on one of the world's best-known movies.
Above: Oblivion's been several years in the making, but the effort's paid dividends
Typically, the b𒀰rand-heavy powerhouses produced by EA usually hit number one on release day, befor🔥e hovering around the top 10 for the rest of the year. Despite The Godfather appearing on PS2, Xbox and PC, Oblivion surpassed it with Xbox 360 and PC sales, with the former accounting for the majority of copies shifted.
Incidentally, in among all the glꦕitches and wobbly AI b🧜ehaviour to be found in Oblivion, a number of infinite-money exploits have emerged over the weekend, allowing Xbox 360 owners to reap all the in-game cash they like. And for a game that's so sprawling, detailed and ambitious, that's probably just the tip (cheat?) of the iceberg for fans of gamebreaking.
