Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 on Vita features 'tap screen to attack' mode. Whaaa?
Why not just tap the BUTTONS?
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is one of the most exciting prospects on PS Vita. But why๊ sideline its already ultra-acce🥀ssible control system by giving it a needless touch screen mode? According to (after translation), the game will feature a 'tap to attack' mode. Super Street Fighter IV 3DS features touch screen attack shortcuts on the touchscreen which massively unbalance the online game, but on Vita? Utter madness!
For starters, Street Fighter on 3DS has TWO screens, meaning the actual fight is never obscured by your thumbs. On Vita, you'll be touching the same screen you're trying to watch. Of course, any fighting aficionado will tell you that you should only look at your opponent while you play, but that's not🅺 going to help newcomers, who will be left looking at more 🍨'thumb' than 'fun'.
