<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-05T15:19:32Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> It's officially Switch 2 launch day, and although fans around the world have only had their hands on Nintendo's new console for a few hours, the souped-up hardware is already proving to be a huge deal for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet speedrunners.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:free upd൲ate on Switch 2▨ to increase frame rate, draw distance, and more, and it's clear that the improved performance thanks to this update and the new hardware has made a massive differencꦏe to the time you can complete the RPGs in. Spotted by Pokemon content creator , "Within just one hour of gameplay, speedrunners have already saved five minutes on Scarlet/Violet Speedruns by using a Switch 2."

PulseEffects points to a , who, a few hours ago, began speedrunning Pokemon Scarlet on Switch 2. It's important to note that , the world record for a glitchless ꧒Any% run of Scarlet/Violet on Switch 1 (a run that just sees you get to the end of the game as fast as possible) is five hours, 19 minutes, and 25 seconds – or five hours, 21 minutes, and 30 seconds in a Japanese copy of the game. Carolio still shows up in second place on the Japanese leaderboard, with a time of five hours, 21 minutes, and 47 seconds.

Clearly though, we're going to need a whole separate Switch 2 leaderboard, because Carolio's latest speedrun ended up being around half an hourღ faster than that. They didn't just shave off five minutes in the first hour – those time-saves kept accumulating, with their time at the end o🐈f the credits coming in at four hours, 51 minutes, and 40 seconds.

Even if the entire speedrun was only five minutes faster than usual, this would have been massive news. But half an hour? Holding sec🍌ond place on the old leaderboard shows that Carolio knows their stuff when it comes to Scarlet and Violet speedrunning, but given that the Switch 2 has only just launched, I hone💯stly wouldn't be surprised if the community manages to achieve even faster times in the upcoming weeks and months.

In a (machine-translated) 🦂posted following their run, Carlio even calls their performance "sloppy compared to my personal best," but notes that they could feel a significant difference in the performance of the game itself.

Elsewhere, shiny hunters take advantage of the increased draw distance in the Switch 2 update, which allows even more Pokemon to spawn at the same time, speeding up the process of looking for rare, sparkly 'mons. So, there are some ✤huge benefits all around – it's genuinely great to see some positivity around the Paldea region games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 is officially out tomorrow, and with it, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are getting a free update to improve their performance on the new console, with improved draw distance to load in even more wild Pokemon, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:as well as a boosted frame rate, finally bringing the adventures to 60fps.

Considering how notoriously poorly Scarlet and Violet run on the original Switch – with problems like frame drops and stuttering still an issue over two years since launch – this is a massive deal, and the first gameplay footage and extended preview looks shown ahead of release have fans in a frenzy. Not only does everything look buttery smooth, but it remains that way even when embarking on Casseroya Lake.

If you've spent any time at all in Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region, you'll know why this is a big deal. While far from the only location in the games to experience performance issues, it's largely considered one of the worst – stuttering and considerable frame rate drops while traveling across the water are commonplace. Or, at least, they were on the OG Switch, because Nintendo has jumped at the opportunity to show off what expl🌟oring the lake looks like now.

As one stunned fan , "the Casseroya Lake footage literally made me get up and stare at the screen like a 60-year-old father witnessing his football team score a goal on TV." Another that "showing the notorious frame 🌞drop lake at a crisp framerate was such a power play," while one fan "this is the best possible advertisement they could have done for the Switch 2 oh my god."

Again, it's not just a frame rate boost, as improved draw distance means a lot more wild Pokemon now populate the screen than ever before (potentially a huge boon for shiny hunters, might I add). Former Pokemon world champion that "if you tried to put that many Po♛kemon in the lake on my Switch from 2017 I think it would actually explode."

All of these reactions were to the few short seconds of footage posted on the Nintendo Today app earlier this week, but since then, the owner of Pokemon news site Serebii, Joe Merrick, has shared even more from a preview event. His footage takes things to the next level, because that 60fps apparently remains consistent even in the rain, folks. "It is so beautiful," Merrick adds.

It's just one day to go now before the Sw𝓀itch 2 is♒ out and we can all try Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's update for ourselves – from what we've seen so far, it looks like there's never been a better time to explore Paldea.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are each set to receive a free update on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 for a smoother frame rate, and it also sounds like the patch will also be🐻 huge news for any shiny hunting enthusiasts who like to spend their time looking for rare, sparkly 'monไs, as it appears the process should theoretically be faster than ever.

Although Scarlet and Violet were criticized at launch for their shaky performance on the OG Switch, I've personally spent many, many hours in the Paldea region looking for sparkly Pokemon with alternate color palettes. Like in Legends: Arceus and Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee before it, being able to simply see Pokemon in the overworld ma🎃kes the process substantially faster – even at full💙 1/4192 odds – than repeatedly running around in the grass for random encounters.

However, the simple point remains that the more Pokemon you can see,ಌ the better your chances are of seeing a sparkly one appear on your screen. And, well, thanks to the power of the Switch 2, it seems that more Pokemon is what we're going to get.

As highlighted by Twitterer @Wario64, a new Japanese briefly details the upcoming update, which – when machine translated – mentions that you'll be able to see Pokemon from further away than before. Essentially, you can expect an improved draw distance, but the screenshots shared really show what a difference this makes. With ꦰwild encounters now appearing far further into the distance, you're able to see many more Pokemon simultaneously.

Previously, you had to either move around to despawn the currently generated Pokemon and bring 🦩in a batch of new ones, or you could choos𝐆e to quickly enter and leave a picnic from your menu, despawning and respawning everything around you. That latter method seems like it'll work particularly well with this increased draw distance, as you'll be able to see plenty of Pokemon very quickly, without moving at all.

I have just one lingering ✨concern, though. Unlike in Legends: Arceus, Scarlet and Violet don't feature a sound effect to signify when a shiny Pokemon has appeared near you, meaning you have to keep your eyes peeled at all times to make sure you don't miss any. Spawning in more Pokemon and at even further distances means it'll be a lot harder to keep track of everything on your screen, and fail your hunts without even knowing. A terrifying prospect.

All in all though, I'd like to believe this is a decidedly positive update overall. As previously announced, Scarlet and Violet will be updated on Switch 2 on the new console's launch 🔯date, June 5, so any intrepid sh𒅌iny hunters will be able to dive right in from day one.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> This is not a drill – 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A finally has a release date, and we can all look forward to the latest RPG arriving on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in October.

Specifically⛦, it'll be launching on October 16 – not an unprecedented month for Pokemon launches, although still a bit of a surprise si𒆙nce they often tend to fall in November. Less time to wait than expected can only be good news to fans, though, with our return to Pokemon X and Y's Kalos region officially less than five months away.

In addition, a confirms that our next Pokemon Presents stream will take place on Jul🦂y 22. Although it's not yet been confirmed how long the stream will be or exactly what it'll show, it seems pretty dang likely that we'll see a bit more of Legends:🎉 Z-A during that.

Although Pokemon Legends: Z-A was originally announced for the OG Switch, the latest announcement reiterates that it'll also be getting a Switch 2 edition, which promises "improved graph𝓡ics and frame rates" on the upcoming console.

If you weren't planning on getting a Switch 2 in its first few months though, fret not, as The Pokemon Company confirms that both digital and physical copies of the game "can be upgraded ꩲto the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition via upgrade pack," so it sounds like you can upgrade at any time.

In addition, it's been revealed that pre-orders on the Switch eShop will begin on Jun🧸e 5, which also happens to be the Switch 2's release date (a very busy day all around). In the meantime, we'll just have to gaze longingly at the newly revealed cover art, showcasing the protagonists, some Mega Evolutions, and other Pokemon,﷽ including the best starter, Chikorita. It's feeling real now, folks – hopefully, the new RPG will be worth the wait.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A's director appears to be a Xenoblade Chronicles fan, and I'm now feeling very validated about a tiny detail I spotted in the upcoming RPG's gameplay trailer.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> We all have a least-fꦛavorite Pokemon. Mine's Binacle – I don't know exactly why, but something about the Gen 6 barnacꦛle 'mon just doesn't spark joy. However, it's not often that our least favorites become an intrinsic part of our image, but that's something that's about to be etched into Pokemon history permanently for 2016 world champ Wolfe "Wolfey" Glick and his Incineroar.

Wolfey does not like Incineroar. While not his absolute least-favorite 'mon (he previously called it his ), he's criticized the Alolan starter for decreasing Pokemon diversity in the competitive scene, thanks to its high utility with its Fire/Dark typing and Intimidate ability. Needless to say, it's a very, very good Pokemon, and one that, despite his hatred, has become a mainstay of many of Wolfey's competitive teams, including in the recent Pokemon European International Championships, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:which he won.

This love-hate relationship between Wolfeꦯy and Incineroar has been a meme for some🌌 time now. The two are permanently associated, and whether he likes it or not, the wrestling cat is probably his signature Pokemon. Now, The Pokemon Company itself has made it official.

It's that during the 2025 North America International Championships next month, if you tune into the official livestream, you'll be able to get a Mystery Gift distribution password to claim a special "Wolfe Glick's Incineroar" in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The big cat will have the same moves and stats as Wolfey's during the European In𝓀ternational Championships, and as , it should also come with the Partner Ribbon, which will allow you to send it into battle as "Wolfe's Incineroar."

Beyond cementing Wolfey's Incineroar into official Pokemon event history forever (as many other competitive players' signature team members have been in the past), the whole thing is extra amusing since Serebii ꩵowner Joe Merrick spoke the idea into existence back in 2023.

At the time, : "The Partner Ribbon they've added is going to be so useful. Now for Pokémon including Anime Character tie-in distributions, and maybe even VGC player distributions, they can m𝓀ake them have this ribbon so you can have it be like, 'Go! Ash's Pikachu!' 'Go! Wolfe's Incineroar.'"

At the time, Wolfey jokingly replied: "Wolfe's WHAT?????" He obviously sees the humor in the situation, though, now🌟 sharing the event news with a simple "LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO." The prophecy has come to pass.

The North America International Championships are set to take place between June 13 and 15, and Pokemon warns that the event 🥃distribution code for this very special Incineroar will expire on June 20, at 4:59pm PDT (7:59pm EDT, or 12:59🌱am BST on June 21). Needless to say, there won't be long to claim it, so don't miss out.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have sneaked ahead of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Sword and Shield to become the series' second best-selling games.

In released during its 🅠latest investor call, Nintendo confirmed that the most recent mainline Pokemon games had sold 26.79 million copies. That means that they've just managed to overtake Sword and Shield, which have sh🤡ipped 26.72 million copies.

Those 70,000 units are a pretty minor difference when you're talki💫ng about the 20+ million sales that some of the Nintendo Switch's biggest games have manage൩d, but they were enough to sneak Scarlet and Violet ahead of their immediate predecessors.

Those games are unlikely to ever claim the series' all-time crown, however. Pokemon Red, Blue, and Green still boast more than 30 million sales, leaving them streaks ahe𝄹ad of the competition. Gold and Silver put in a solid effort, but the Switch games have consigned Gen 2 to fourt𓃲h place.

Scarlet and Viole🐼t's success is something of a surprise given their performance issues. The games were touted as the Pokemon series' first open-world games, but one of the biggest criticisms levied at them was their inability to leverage the Switch's procඣessing power as effectively as other, often older, Nintendo titles.

We're still a way off from the next mainline Pokemon games, but we will get to see 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A later this year. That's unlikely to overtake Scarlet and Violet - its predecessor, Legends: Arceus, amassed a respectable 15 million or so sales. Releasing on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 is likely to help sales of the upcoming entry, but we'll likely be 🎃waiting until Gen 10 to see a real challenger.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon TCG Pocket just got a new expansion, bringing with it loads of new Alola region 'mons to collect and bꦡattle with, but it𓆏s biggest threat might not be a heavy hitter like the legendary Solgaleo and Lunala, but a cute, cheerleading bird that's totally impervious to attacks from the game's strongest cards.

Introduced with the Celestial Guarܫdians expansion, say hi to Pom-Pom style Oricorio – an Electric-type dancing bird with pom-poms on its wings and nary a thought behind its eyes. But what cou♐ld possibly make a cute dancing bird quite so deadly?

With only 70 health and just one 50-damage attack, it doesn't immediately seem incredibly strong, but then you look at its Safeguard ability, which prevents "all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from your opponent's Pokemon ex." Oh.

Generally speaking, ex cards are the most powerful cards in the game, with some devastating moves and large pools of health. It's entirely possible to run decks containing only ex card🍬s – one popular recent one has relied solely on two Giratina ex and Darkrai ex cards, for example (with loads of item and sup🐓porter cards on the side).

If you do so now, however, there's a real risk of running into a bird that has the power to absorb every attack thrown its way while it gradually chips away at its opponents, 🥀cheerleading for itself all the way. In the hours that the new expansion has been out, some players have already found themselves in this position.

"This one📖 card has just swept my whole team," one player on Reddit shares, sharing a screenshot of their deck of Dialga and Solgaleo ex cards, powerless against a single Oricor♉io.

from

"Oricorio clowned on m🌌e," , their solo🌺 Blastoise deck no match for the dancing bird.

While the obvious way to deal with Oricorio is simply to make sure you don't solely include ex cards in your deck, it's worth noting that defeating it even with a full ex team isn't totally impossible. Darkrai ex's Nightmare Aura ability deals 20 damage to opponents as long as you have a Dark-type energy attached to it, and because that doesn't count as attack, Oricorio is🅷 still vulnerable to it.

Stack that w♈ith the Rocky Helmet item, which deals 20 damage to opponents if they attack you, and you could deal with the bird fairly effectively. Unless, of course, the Oricorio-wielding player comes prepared with plenty of ways to heal their Pokemon.

It's not even been a full day since Celestial Guardians was launched, so Oricorio's overall impact on the meta still remains to be seen, but it sꦚeems pretty likely to have a significant impact.

The situation feels somewhat reminiscent of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the rise of Sudowoodo, which proved to be an incredible counter to Pokemon god Arceus when Triumphant Light was released. Even the smiley fake tree wasn't immune to attacks like this, though, so the creator of the P😼okemon universe is facing an even greater threat now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> Merch can be expensive sometimes. We've probably all spent questionable amounts on collectibles at some point or another, but as video game fans around the world weigh up splashing their cash on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2, The Pokemon Company has an impor🅘tant proposition for you – why not spend it on a $400 Eeveelution plushie, instead?

Available to pre-order today, Pokemon is releasing three new "Pokedex-size" plushies of the three original Eeveelutions – Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Depending on the🎀 'mon, these range between around 25 and 32 inches in size, and they'll each individually cost you $400.

For $50 more, you could get yourself a Switch 2, or you could go all out, grab one o𒊎f the plushies, and add on the new 16-inch 🥃Eevee, too. Priorities, right?

It's an astronomical amount of money for a plushie – especially if you want the entire collection – although this isn't the first time that The Pokemon Company has released such expensive cuddly companions. Other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:enormous plushies launched in the past include a 31.5-inch Porygon, which retails for $500, a woolly 45-inch Mareep for the same price, and a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:63-inch tall Gardevoir for $450. People were, uh, really norma𒀰l about that last one.

Just look at their cute little faces, though – they really are adorable. The Flareon in particular looks exceptionally cuddly, but as the promotional images ꧋prove, all three of them could pass as real-life Pokemon companions when parked up in a home. At first glance꧂, anyway.

So, brand new 🥀Nintendo console or your very own Eeveelution replica? Choose wisely. The Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon plushies are currently expected to ship at some point in the middle of November, while the Eevee wiꦬll be out sooner, in the middle of June.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can't believe their l🌊uck, as The Pokemon Company publishes the first-ever official Shiny hunting guide.

On April 3, the official Pokemon Twitter account shared the post below, along with a link to this helpful . "Learn how to increase your chances of encountering elusive Shiny Pokémon across the Paldea region, the land of Kitakami, and the Terarium at Blueberry Academy!" the tweet reads. Althoꩵugh this is useful for trainers, Pokemon fans can't believe what ꦓthey're seeing, as this isn't typically something the developer would do.

The guide, which gives a tutorial on what Shinies 🐷are and how to catch them, features tonnes of tips and tricks including how to get the Shiny Charm, what mass outbreaks are in Scarlet and Violet, and the different ways in which Sparkling Power can be used to increase your chances of encountering Shinies. Perhaps most useful, the guide also gives several recipes for creating sandwiches using Sparkling Power.

For The Pokemon Company to share this info just over a year after releasing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has surprised fans. "EXCUSE ME WHAT DID THE OFFICIAL POKEMON TWITTER JUST POST?" one Twitter user in response to the tweet. "I COULDꦗ'VE BEEN MAKING SOME OF THESE SANDWICHES WITH ONLY 1 HE🅺RBA MYSTICA?!!?!" another fan , now regretting every sandwich they've ever made.

Others have said it feels like Mr. Krabs has🧸 just revealed the Krabby Patty secret formula from SpongeBob SquarePants. "The way they just GAVE us the Shiny Krabby Pattie secret formula," another fan , "Why’d this take so long to post to the website?" A few users have the guide, suggesting that it coꦗuld stop Scarlet and Violet players from replaying the game.

Interestingly, this guide comes not too long after the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC seemed to have ramped up the Shiny rate. There's not much to go off here, but several players reported encountering a l෴ot more Shiny Pokemon than before the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion was released last year.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> A former Pokemon lawyer has revealed the process behind Nintendo shutting down fan projects, offering the useful reminder tha⛎t "no one likes suing fans."

In an interview with , Don McGowan - former Chief Legal Officer And Business Affairs at The Pokemon Company - talked about his time working at Bungie, Microsoft Game Studios, and the aforementioned Pokemon company. During the interview, McGowan 🌊was asked about the company's approach to Cease & Desist letters - specifically the process behind them and what is and 𒁃isn't allowed legally.

"I would be sitting in my office minding my own business when someone from the company would send me a link to a news article🌳, or I would stumble across it myself," McGowan explains. "I teach Entertainment Law at the University of Washington and say this to my students: the worst thing on earth is when🀅 your 'fan' project gets press because now I know about you."

Exposure is just one step towards getting your project shut down though, as the legal professional continues: "But that's not the end🍎 of the equation. You don't send a takedown right away. You wait to see if they get funded (for a Kickstarter or similar); if they get funded then that's when you engage. No one likes suing𝄹 fans."

There was a lot of discussion around the time of Palworld's launch due to its obvious Pokemon comparisons. At the time, The Pokemon Company revealed that it would "investigate and take appropriate measures" with any games that may infringe on the company's copyright infringement rights but (at the time of writing) the only time Nintendo's lawyers have had to step in is when 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld got a Pokemon mod.

Around the same time, Palworld developer 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pocketpair released a statement that said "We have absolutely no intention of infringing upon the intellectual property of other companies." We also see the designa♉ted "Wil♓d Zones" that exist in the metropolis, marked by green gates. Of course, we also see some battles, critter catching, and world exploration. It's classic Pokemon here, and we are excited to see more trailers drop in the future!

You can watch the Pokemon Legends: Z-A trailer above.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A gameplay

Thanks to the Pokemon Legends: Z-A trailer, we've now gotten our first real look at the expected gameplay for the upcoming title. This includes its setting, which will be entirely within Lumiose City. This means that you're likely going to be unable to explore the wider Kalos Region. That's no doubt going to be a bit of a letdown for some of you Pokemon X and﷽ Y fans out there, but it does make sense, given the smaller scope of the Pokemon Legends series of titles.

However, don't worry, there's still plenty to do. While in Lumiose City, your player character wi🅰ll be staying at a hotel named Hotel Z, which will be your base of operations as you tackle all sorts of incidents that will occur in the city. The city will also have lush "wild zones" wher⛦e you can catch some new party members and battle wild Pokemon. This is typical Pokemon mechanics, but big changes are coming to battling systems with other trainers.

According to the , in Pokemon Legends: Z‑A, "Trainers and their Pokemon will move around in real-time during battles." There are also new features to consider when battling, such as the precise timing for swapping out your Pokemon, the different lengths of time moves will take, and how big an area the movꦗes will impact." This will be the first battle system of its kind in a Pokemon game and will make combat a lot more of a strategic affair.

For years, longtime Pokemon fans have pointed out how ea꧒sy battles can be in previous entries, especially when you are in the late game with a powerful party. So, it's great to see innovation taking place in Po♕kemon Legends: Z-A for sure. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.

In for Pokemon Legends Z-A during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Direct March 2025 showcase, we got a closer look at the wild zones in Lumiose city, which are "special environments where wild Pokemon can live comfortably". You can catch critters here not unlike the open zones of Legends Arceus. We also got a glimpse at the day and night cycle, along with "the Z-A royale", which are battle zones where you can take on other trainers - 澳洲幸运5开奖号码♈历史查询:you can even attack first if you'𝔉re stealthy.

Nintendo also revealed that the title of the♛ game actually references the new ranking system that's linked toꦍ the competitive battle zones. As trainers, we'll start out at rank Z and rise up to rank A, hence Z-A.

Pokemon Legends Z-A starters

The three 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends Z-A starters are Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile.

Chikorita is the grass-type starter that was first introduced in Generation II. Iꩲt is also one of the first three starters in Pokemon of Johto seen during Pokemon Gold and Silver. This grass type is described as having a gentle personality who loves sunbathing. So, if you love cozy, cute things, it'll be the perfect starter foꦛr you. Chikorita also evolves into Bayleef starting at level 16, which then evolves into Meganium (aka the most adorable and dinosaur-coded Pokémon around) at level 32.

Totodile is the water-type starter, which was also introduced in Generation II and, like Chikorita, was a starter during Pokemon Gold and Silver. This Pokemon has a rough personality and a tendency to bite, so be on the lookout for your fingers if you choose this critter as your first partner♎. Totodile evolves into Croconaw at level 18, which then evolves into Feraligatr starting at level 30.

Finally, we have Tepig, the fire-type starter. Tepig was introduced during Generation V and was one of the starters available during Pokemon Black and White. Tepig loves finding food but has a habit of excitedly burning things when it's ﷽to worked up. Tepig evolves into Pignite at level 17, and then into Emboar starting at level 36.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A The Legendary Pokemon

Legendary Pokemon will also be among the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A Pokedex ꧅for all of us to meet when the game releases later this year. The one we know for sure i𓆉s heading our way is Zygarde.

Zygarde was first introduced during the sixth generation as a dual-type Dragon/Ground Legendary Pokémon and was a major🌳 player in the animated Pokemon the Series: XY.

According to the Pokemon website, "Zygarde is made up of a multitude of cell-like components, and it changes form depending on how many of these components have gathered together. Its brain is made up of the few existing Zygarde Cores, while the rest of its 🌜body is comprised of Zygarde Cells, which are far more plentiful. It seems to have taken a special interest in you... What could its connection to this story be?"

Expect Zygarde to be a ma🅷ssive part of the story of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. We may also see some possible connections to this legendary and the large corporation called Quasartico Inc. (that is re-developing Lumiose City). Stay tuned for updates!

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution explained

Pokemon Legends: Z-A screenshot of a Mega Evolution during a battle.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution brings back a beloved feature first introduced in Pokemon X and Y that will boost your Pokemon's power and change their appearance. In Lumiose City, some Pokemon can go beyond normal evolution when they raise their levels in battle. Only a few Pokemon can Mega Evolve, and when they do, it temporarily unleashes the energy hidden wit🍰hin the Pokemon.

When🐬 a trainer has a high bond with their partner, a Key Stone (wor🙈n by the Trainer) will resonate with the Pokemon's "Mega Stone" - that is what allows the evolution to take place. Below is a list of some of the confirmed Pokemon who can use Mega Evolution in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

 • Mega Charizard X
 • Mega Charizard Y
 • Mega Kangaskhan
 • Mega Ampharos
 • Mega Gardevoir
 • Mega Sableye
 • Mega Altaria
 • Mega Absol
 • Mega Lucario

The list above is expected to grow. And, in fact, according to leakers, 27 new Mega Evolutions could be a🅘dded🔯 in the upcoming game. So far, in the series' history, we've had 48 Mega Evolutions. An a🍸dditional 27☂ would bring the new total up to an impressive 75.

However, before you get♚ too excited about this news, keep in mind t꧒hat nothing has been officially confirmed just yet. We'll keep you posted as more news heads our way!

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> After The Pokemon Company revealed it would "investigate" games like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld for copyri🃏ght infringement, the survival game's fans are confident it won't amount to much.

On January 25, The Pokemon Company broke its silence over Palworld - telling concerned fans in a statement that it intends to "investigate and take appropriate measures to address any acts that infringe on intellectual property rights." Although the survival game bears a resemblance to Pokemon, many Palworld fans have remained unfazed by the news - confident that Nintendo will struggl🦹e to find a leg to stand on.

In a sharing the statement, many fans h♛ave shared their thoughts on the situation. "All this statement says is that Nintendo is looking into whether their IP has been infringed, and if so, they will take action," one user rationally explained. "That is literally what every company with copyrighted IP does, it's why copyright laws exist in the first place," the comment continues.

Other fans have pointed out that it's unlikely that Nintendo / The Pokemon Company wasn't well aware of the '澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon with guns' game when it was first unveiled a couple of years ago. Instead, Reddit users think that it's more likely that this statement was spurred on following the news of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld Pokemon mod which is currently on ice until the creator figures out how to release it and simultaneously "avoid a lawsuit."

"It's PR speak to get people to stop reporting the game to them. I doubt [The Pokemon Company] hasn&apoღs;t already looked at it and gone yeah, it's fine," one user has theorized. "I think this is a 'we keep getting harassed about this so here' kind of statement," another adds.

There's definitely something to the idea that The Pokemon Company is trying to head off the conversation about Palworld while it determines if there are any steps to take. While it's not surprising that fans of Palworld would look to defend their game (just as it's not surprising that Palworld's lead has already shot down legal concerns following the Pokemon comparisons), questions do remain about the similarities between Pals and Pokemon. The oft-repeated idea that 'you can't trademark a sheep' isn't necessarily helpful, Palworld does seem to have🍨 made efforts to distance itself (just enough) from anything that Pokemon could have copyrighted.

The Pokemon Company will also want to ask itself whether now is the time to take action. The suggestion that it wasn't aware of Palworld's existence is an unlikely one, and given the game's success, a complex and high-profile legal battle🐲 may be a battle The Pokemon Company doesn't really want to fight. Likewise, though the Nintendo mothership is famously litigious, the fact that it and the Pokemon Comp⛄any haven't made any sort of legal challenge after years of Palworld marketing, which was never shy about its inspirations, yet instantly struck down Pokemon mods for the game, which do very clearly infringe upon copyright, suggests it wouldn't have an ironclad case right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> After seven years, Pokemon has returned to the story of Detective Pikachu with the aptly titled Detective Pikachu Returns, but time away does not appear to have been kind to the original Nintendo 3DS game's formul🐻a. Pikachu in a little deerstalker is as charming as it ever was, but the underlying mechanics and graphics show their age even with a fresh coat of paint.

Fast Facts

Release date: October 6, 2023
Platform(s): Nintendo Switch
Developer: Creatures
Publisher: Nintendo

First and foremost, Detective Pikachu Returns is a game about detective work and investigations. It&ap🥂os;s a classic formula, but complicated here by the existence of Pokemon broadly, the fact that protagonist Tim Goodman is the only human that can talk with the eponymous Detective Pikachu, and the mysterious disappearance of Tim's father, Harry, as of the events of the first game that has still not been resolved.

But don't worry if you didn't play the 2016 original. The opening of Detective Pikachu Returns includes a quick, handy recap of the most imp✱ortant events that you really need to know in order to conceptually understand what's about to happen in the new game, and it's not like it assumes you already know how its mechanics work. There are a few tweaks compared to the original, which do seem for the better, but actually playing should feel rꦦelatively familiar to anyone with prior experience.

Grin and bear it

Detective Pikachu smiling and giving a thumbs up

The core conceit is compelling – who wouldn't want to find their missing father? – but the actual investigation work is full of drudgery, presented in a way that constantly made me reconsider my stance that all games are for everyone. Detective Pikachu Returns feels made for children, as opposed to being made also for children, in a way that ✅is reminiscent of shows like Dora the Explorer or Cocomelon. It beats you over the head with solutions and looks oddly smooth, in a way that I typically associate with low-budget animated shows on streaming services.

If you're simply following along with whatever is suggested you do, it is nearly impossible to come to anything but the correct conclusion about a given caper. The first major case in Detective Pikachu Returns, "The Missing Jewel," essentially holds your hand and signposts every major development multiple times in a way that makes it increasingly obvious (as it should) who did it but that still requires several furt♐her steps to come to the mechanical conclusion you've already mentally reached. It makes for a frustrating experience.

Basically, once you've wandered around and collected enough c💎lues, you can start to deduce how those clues actually answer a question as part of the larger investigation like, for example, how someone got access to the aforementioned jewel or where exactly a specific Pokemon was heading. It's a slow process that requires interacting with nearly every person or Pokemon you find in addition to various points of interest, and few are interesting enough on their own to hold the right amount of focus for the constant back and forth.

And there is a lot of back and forth. I frequen⛄tly found myself butting up against just how fast Tim or Pikachu could move because it was never quite fast enough to make traversal across environments anything but time consuming. It's not that the spaces are particularly big or unwieldy; they are just largely empty and devoid of anything to do once you've been through once or twice, despite the fact that it feels like the game sends you through far more than that. It's a double whammy, in that it is just big enough to feel empty and annoying while not big enough to feel a real sense of place.

Haven't a clue

Detective Pikachu with a little mustache

There are still high points, however. If you liked the fact that Pikachu talked and went around helping solve crimes in the original game, or the wildly popular live-action movie Pokemon: Detective Pikachu for that matter, that vibe is absolutely still present. There's still a weirdly campy tone where an official Pokemon video game talks about characters wanting a divorce in stilted dialogue in shoc🧜kingly close textual proximity to an entirely different conversation featuring others discussing how delicious it is to eat a Slowpoke's tail.

That's the part of Detective Pikachu Returns that works for me. I want more of Pikachu getting flipped up into the cold snowball on Galariꦉan Darmanitan's head to ride around while shivering and punching boulders. I want more of him razzing Tim for not having/💃maybe trying to have a girlfriend. I want more jokes about how the canonical, in-game movie adaptation of Tim's greatest case didn't include Tim's mom and sister with a nod and a wink at the plot of the actual real-life movie.

My opinion of Detective Pikachu Returns is largely summarized by how I feel about Pikachu's little running animation. It's delightful to see him run pell-mell after Tim, hat flapping about, off to his little job that he finds such pride in. It's just the right amount of serious, which is to say only barely. But it's repetitive, and as charming as it is, the joy I initially found had diminishing returns. In the end, instead of chuckling, I onl♏y found myself wishing he'd run faster so that the busywork on the other end of his journey would be over all the more s💧wiftly.

Det🔴ective Pikachu Returns was reviewed using code provided by the publisher on a Nintendo Switch OLED.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon Company is having "conversations" about its future release schedule and how to mainta🍒in the quality of﷽ its games.

During the Pokemon World Championships - which took place in Yokohama, Japan over the weekend - The Pokemon Company COO, Takato Utsunomiya, has spoken to about the company's release schedule for new Pokemon games. As we all know, lately we've got a new Pokemon game every single year - sometimes twice, in the case of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

"I think in general, if you look at𒁃 the past, the path we've taken up until now has been this constant release, always regularly releasing products on a fairly fixed kind of a cadence, you might say," Utsunomiya tells the outlet, "always having these products able to be introduced and new experiences for our customers, and that's how we've operated up until now."

The chief oper🐠ating officer continues: "I think we're still operating in that way, but there are more and more conversations, as the development environments change, about how we can continue t🅠o do this while making sure that we're ensuring really quality products are also being introduced."

It's no secret that upon its release, late last year, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet suffered a few issues - to put it lightly. Things got so bad that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet basically turned into horror games thanks to a range of disturbing bugs, and fans basically gave up on the game, declaring that "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:enough is enough."

Thankfully, the majority of these problems were ironed out and now the game plays fine, but it has led fans to be a little sceptical of future Pokemon release𝓀s - especially if they come out close together. We recently had a Pokemon Presents showcase which was lacking a brand-new main series title, so maybe this is the start of The Pokemon Company choosing quꦡality over quantity.

Find out what did feature during the presentation with our everything announced at the Pokemon Presents August 2023 round-up.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> Earl🌃ier today, on August 8, we were treated to one of The Pokemon Company's regular Pokemon Presents presentations.

First up we got a rundown of the upcoming Pokemon World Championships 2023, which is taking place in Yokohama, Japan on August 11 - 13. This year, competitors will be competing against each other in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as well as The Pokemon Trading Card Game, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Go, and Pokemon Unite. Perhaps the most exciting part of the event is the reveal💜 of a brand new Pikachu plush that sees the little guy digging into a big bowl of ramen, which you can get a glimpse of above.

Pokemon: Path to the Peak - Animated short

Pokemon: Path to the Peak

Next up, we were treated to a first loo𒁏k at an upcoming animated series that will focus 𒁃on the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Pokemon: Path to the Peak is set to premiere at the Pokemon World Championships 2023 and will follow the story of Ava, a young girl who's moved to a new town and gets welcomed into her school's Pokemon club. As for when the rest of us will be able to watch it, episode 1 is set to premiere via YouTube on August 11.

Detective Pikachu Returns - New trailer

Detective Pikachu Returns

Probbaly one of the biggest things to come out of this presentation is a brand new look at the upcoming Switch 🐻game Detective Pikachu Returns. In the trailer, we are reintroduced to the "tough-talking" Pikachu and his partner Tim Goodman as well as Tim's friends and family. This game already looks very promising and we don't have to wait that long to play it as Detective Pikachu Returns is set to release on October 6, 2023 - pre-orders are also now live.

Pokemon Horizons: The Series - "Coming soon"

It was a pretty vague reveal, but during today's Pokemon Presents livestream, we got to see some footage of the latest Pokemon Horizons animated series - the first se♍ason of the Pokemon anime to not feature Ash and Pikachu as the main protagonists. The footage ended with the words "coming soon" so we're going to go ahead and guess it means that the Horizons series will be released outside of J☂apan in the not too distant future.

Pokemon Go Fest + Scarlet and Violet Pokemon

Pokemon Go

(Image credit: Niantic / The Pokemon Company)

After this, we got the rundown on Pokemon Go Fest 2023, which is set to take place (and in some cases, already has happened) in London, Osaka, and New York in early-mid August. Perhaps most important about this segment of the presentation 🌄is the news that - as of September 2023 - Pokemon from the Paldea region, including Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxley, will start appearing in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Masters EX, and Pokemon Cafe Remix

Pokemon Cafe Remix

As for Pokemon Masters EX, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Nemona and Pawmot will ꦇbe joining the game as well as Victor and Spectrier from August 16. Pokemon Sleep may have only just released, but The Pokemon Company is wasting no time setting up the app's first in-game event. The upcoming event, titled 'Pokemon Sleep: Good Sleep Day' hasn't quite got a date just yet but it's set to take palace on a full moon and cause Snorlax's Drowsy power to be stronger than usual. More details about this willꦰ soon be revealed.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet web series - 'Pokemon: Paldean Winds'

Alongside the other Pokemon animate👍d shows we've ❀already mentioned, we're also getting an online original animated series set in Scarlet and Violet's Paldea region. The series will follow several academy students as they explore the region, meet new Pokemon, and work on their skills. There isn't a release date for this web series yet, we just know it's "coming soon" and will premiere via the official Pokemon YouTube channel when it does arrive.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - 'Get Mew & Mewtwo' event

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon Company has launched an official forum for fans of the series to connect online, it probably didn't expect things to get so weir🍃d 🤪so soon though.

On July 4, The Pokemon Company launched so that fans could discuss things like "who's your favorite Pokemon?", "who is the best water-type Pokemon?", "which Po💮kemon game is your favorite?", and so on. What The Pokemon Company probably didn't expect to see though is questions like: "What Pokemon would be the best at operating a Hyundai 25L-7 forklift?" Although we are curious now.

If you head over to the P🎃okemon forums now, it seems a lot of the unhinged topics have been removed, with some users eve💞n being banned for posting in the forums completely (it's not even been live for 24 hours yet). Plenty have been captured and shared on Twitter though, so don't worry, there's still plenty to see.

Some of the most interesting topics that were spotted in forums include: "Which Pokemon would you eat for lunch?" as well as "does anyone think the Charizard as my profile pictur[e] looks homeless?", and "I think in the next game Geeta and Rika should kiss and get married and [then] play Fortnite to🎀gether."

Everyone has varying levels of intensity when it comes to what topicﷺs they want to discuss, and we can only imagine that Nintendo is already regretting its decision to open the Pok🌟emon forums.

Speaking of Pokemon regrets, in other pocket monster news, fans who pre-ordered the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:giant Altaria plush are now dealing with the consequences of their actions. After pre-ordering the collectible a year or so ago, the 37 ¾ x 51 ½ x 35 ½ inch plush has started to show up at its new owners' homes and left many questioning wherꦜe on earth they're going to put the thing.

If you were curious, here's what we think are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Pokemon games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> Update - May 19: The Pokemon Home update adding Scarlet and Violet support was apparently revealed prematurely, an🔯d while it's still coming "soon," that May 24 release date isn't actually accurate.

"We put the cart before the Mudsdale!" a from the official Pokemon Twitter reads. "Earlier we m🔯istakenly posted that Pokémon HOME𒉰 version 3.0.0 would launch on May 23/24. However, the actual release date is yet to be announced. 3.0.0 is coming soon though, so please continue to follow our pages for more information!"

Original story follows.

Pokemon Home will fina🐓lly fold in Scarlet and Violet compatibility later this month.

When May 24 rolls around next week, Pokemon Home will receive a pretty significant update, allowing it to finally be linked with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This means you'll be able to transfer all of your Pokemon out 🐲of Scarlet and Violet and into other titles.

ꦬThe responses to the tweet above are pretty much unanimously celebratory, with gifs of everyone from The Muppets to Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit joining the fray. People really, really like transferring their Pokemon from one game to another. Who would've thought?

You'll also bag a free Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly with Hidden Abilities as Mystery gifts if you link up the mobile version of Pokemon Home with Scarlet and Violet. These are, if you're somehow extremely unfamiliar with the latest pair of Pokemon gam🌺es, the starter trio of creatures you get to pick🌸 from at the outset of the adventures.

The inclusion of Scarlet and Violet for Pokemon Home means the roster of new Gen 9 creatures join an extensive list of other creatures from all across the Pokemon series. The trio of sta♎rters and their companions can join Pokemon from the likes 🎶of Legends Arceus, Sword and Shield, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and Let's Go Eevee and Pikachu.

Recently, Pokemon fans have been d✤ebat💟ing who has the worst shoes in the entire series. It's a decidedly more fierce competition than you&a🍷pos;re probably imagining.

Don't forget that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's two DLC expansions will both be launching later this year.

You might recognize Tsunekazu Ishihara from hosting recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Presents showcases over the past few years, and that's because not only is he CEO of Creatures Inc., but he's also the CEO of The Pokemon Company. Tanak🐎a, meanwhile, hasn't been such a public face for Pokemon, but oddly enough is 🀅a musician who pioneered chiptune music. Hey, the more you know.

It's important to remember that these ch💝anges don't explicitly effect The Pokemon Company, which remains the chief driving force behind the mainline Pokemon games. As of right now, Ishihara appears to be sticking around as the CEO of The Pokemon Company, so while he's given up one major role in the Pokem﷽on franchise, he's very much maintained another.

Creatures Inc. is still supposedly hard at work making Detective Pikachu 2. The sequel has been missing in action for several years now, but according to the studio's website last year in 2022, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Detective Pik♔achu 2 🦂is very much still alive and in active development.

The studio is primarily responsible for actually modelling the Pokemon themselves, supplying the in-game models for titles like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Right now, it's a bit unclear how the change in leadership affects Creatures Inc., but it should very much bꦦe business as usual for the mainline Pokemon games themselves.

Last month, the Detective Pikachu 2 movie announced its director, as the long-rumored sequel appears to finally be nearing production.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> With the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:3DS eShop's closure, the app briไdging nearly two decades of Pokemon historꦜy is now inaccessible to new users.

Pokemon Bank is - or rather, was -🦩 a 3DS app that allows you to transfer Pokemon from the handheld to the cloud storage o𒀰f Pokemon Home, and through that into the modern games. Between the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Gen 1 and 2 and the convoluted chain of transfers available from Gen 3 through Gen 7, Pokemon Bank supported 19 years worth of Pokemon games.

Bank was always a free app, but previously, to upload and transfer your creatures into Home, you needed to pay for a $5 subscription that got you access to the Poke Transporter companion app. The Transporter app was never available for download without that subscription. However, the Pokemon Company previously announced that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bank and Transporter wer𒊎e going to become free following the 3DS eShop shutdown.

Now that the eShop is closed, you can no longer download software - even free software - unless you had acquired it at least once before. That means that🍷 even though Transporter is technically now free, unless you previously paid that $5 subscription fee to download it in the past, you cannot download it now. Neither Nintendo nor the Pokemon Company ever fully spelled out that this would be the case, though you could certainly read between the lines to guess it.

I've never paid for the 🔯Bank, and I can personally confirm that the Transporter app is now completely inaccessible. When Bank directs you to download Transporter from the eShop, you'll see the message "this software is currently unavailable." My dreams of someday doing a full Pokemon series playthrough to build a living Pokedex are now complet✱ely dead. Ah, well.

Earlier it sꦑeemed that Transporter was broken even for 🍰players who had properly gone through all the steps, but that - old Bank subscribers can still save their old Pokemon. The rest of us will have to prepare to say goodbye 🐬to all our old creatures once those cartridges finally go kaput.

Hopefully this will at least ease the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:price gouging around retro Pokemon games a bit.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> Just a few mon🌺ths after slapping down a knock-off NFT game, The Pokemon Company is looking for an NFT expert to help drive its future business strategy and lead partnerships with external developers.

The Pokemon Company wants to hire a corporate development principal, according ♒to a highlighted by . This role will join the President and Corporate Development Office, the division that advises the company's long-term business strategy. Specifically, this corporate development principal will be in charge of initiatives to brainstorm new types of "Pokemon experiences" outside of the traditཧional Game Freak RPGs.

Many of the requested qualifications are what you'd expect from a corporate job listing, including calls f♏or a decade of experience and "self-starter" initiative. The listing does have a few more specific requests, though, calling for someone with a "deep knowledge and understanding of Web3, including blockchain technologies and NFT, and/or metaverse," and who is "deeply connected to a network of investors and entrepreneurs" in the Web3 and metaverse space. It also notes that the successful applicant will "identify, analyze, monitor, and build relationships with external co-development partners with unique technology to support the implement💛ation of new ideas."

The heads of The Pokemon Company are seemingly interested in partnering with external developers on blockchain-based games, or at least exploring the possibility, either ignoring or ignorant of the intense backlash against NFTs from gamers. In December 2022, the company itself gave a legal smackdown to a ꦍknock-🐻off Pokemon NFT game, saying at the time that "The Pokemon Company and Nintendo had made a deliberate decision not to launch any Pokemon NFTs." But the times may be a-changi♒ng.

While companies like Ubisoft have abandoned the NFT gold rush after the abject failure of experiments like Ghost Recon Breakpoint's Digits, it seems that some Japan-led gaming companies in particular are deepening their investments in a technology and business model that everyone outside of Silicon Valley and Wall Street seems to hate. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Konami wants NFTs, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Square Enix (still) wants NFTs, and now it seems The Pokemon Comp🌳any wants in on the blo𝔉ckchain, too.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon Comp𝓡any is hosting another Pokemon Presents next week, guaranteed to feature 20 minutes worth ꦯof "exciting" news.

As announced via the official Twitter account, we're getting another Pokemon Presents showcase on February 27, 2023 - also known as Pokemon Day. There are lots of things that could come out of this livestream as we've already been promised "about ꧂20 minutes of exci🦩ting Pokemon news" in honour of Pokemon Day 2023.

To tune in live, fans should head to the official at 6AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM GMT

Speaking of Pokemon Day, last week it was spotted that a new web🅠site had been launched in honour of the annual fan event. Although the website looks pretty ordinary on the surface, a datamine of the new site did reveal a mention of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon developer Spike 𒅌Chunsoft.

Now, we're not saying that a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game is set to be revealed, but considering this is the second time the spin-off game has been mentioned recently (the first being in the form of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:an email from Nintendo), we wouldn't be 🀅surprised if it did make an appearance during ౠnext week's event.

In terms of some probably less likely but still plausible predictions, fans are holding out hope for some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC - which would be pretty imꦦpressive to 🍷see from developer Game Freak considering the base game was only released last November.

There's also a lot of speculation surrounding the recently launched Nintendo Switch Online Game Boy/GBA expansions which, as of righ𒀰t now, are lackingꦏ a lot of classic Pokemon titles like Pokemon Yellow, Pokemon Gold/Silver, Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, and more.

While we wait for this livestream to kick off, find out if your favourite made our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Pokemon games list.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon Company has announced a new patch for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and acknowledged the issues players have been having with 🐓the two games.

In the patch notes (released on December 1), Thꦓe Pokemon Company wrote: "We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games' performance. Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience."

The patch notes then end with: "We take the feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the games." What fixes developer Game Freak is currently working on is still unknown. But what we do know is that some fixes have already been implemented in this patch, including the music bug for Victory Road.

It's not a surprise that The Pokemon Company felt the need to address the issues the two gen 9 Pokemon games have been having. Very quickly after its release, fans declared that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"enough is enough" in numerous posts in the Pokemon subreddit due to the game's glaringly obvious performance issues. There have since been countless posts on the likes of Twitter and TikTok that showcase 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:just how buggy the games can be as well.

It doesn't seem like its flaws have affected Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's success though. Prior to its release, it was revealed that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet had the highest preorders in the series' history, as well as the biggest launch of any console-exclusive game ever. Regardless of this though, the two games are still currently the lowest-reviewed main series game in 17 years.

If you're still thinking about picking one of these games up, take a look at our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet review to help you decide.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon community at large is voicing its displeꦛasure over Scarlet and Violet's performanc🏅e issues.

The vast majority of the top posts on the - with over 4.2 million members - are dedicated to criticizing Scarlet and Violet's various performance issues at launch.

In particular, the and frame rate issues on the Nintendo Switch. Some are calling it one of the worst-performing Nintendo Switch games t༒hey've seen for a wh♉ile, and others are questioning how The Pokemon Company was happy to publish the two games in such a state.

It's worth pointing out there doesn't seem to be an overriding sense of malice in the . "𝓀We want to see the games succeed not just for our own benefit as consumers, but for the ꦉwell being of the franchise we all know and love," one post reads, noting that despite steps in the right direction, new games are falling further and further behind when it comes to the technical aspect.

We'll have to wait and see whetꩲher Nintendo or The Pokemon Company ends u𒀰p issuing any sort of statement regarding player feedback on the performance issues of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

In the meantime though, Sca♉rlet and Violet players have found a temporary workaround to the performance issues, which simply involves shutting down and restarting the games. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> When it comes to ranking the best Pokemon games, there are a lot of entries to consider. With so many generations of loveable critters to catch, the series has continually evolved over the years. Each iteration has brought something to the table, be it by introducing a diജstinctive feature, a memorable setting, or beloved Pokemon. And since it's been around since the late '90s, there's a lot of nostalgia out there for the older games.

While we've seen lots of memorable off-shoots like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Go and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Sleep, this list focuses on the core entries - many of which are counted among the very 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best DS games, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best 3DS games, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best GBA games of all time for good reason. And with the later releases in the lineup of best Switch exclusives, it's no wonder that it's such a ♚challenge to decide which ga💝me comes out on top or deserves a spot in our top 10 picks.

As a series that's constantly growing, we happily have more Pokemon goodness on the way, with the upcoming adventure, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends Z-A and the recently announced off-shoot, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Champions. 10. Pokemon Sun and Moon

Pokemon Sun and Moon, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon Sun and Moon is like going on a tropical Pokemon-themed holiday. It’s vibrant, bright, and offers a slightly different experien🍎ce than you're used to. The Alola region was a breath of fresh air for the series since it changed the setting and reflected its theme in its unique Alol🍒an Pokemon variants. But, isn't wasn't all sunshine and sand. Some of the Alolan designs are quite unforgettable, although we’re pretty sure everyone will remember the mighty Alolan Exeggutor for the rest of their days.

The change from the typical gym battles was odd, too, and made Sun and Moon feel a lot slower than the earlier games. Plus, it's very light on the post-game content after you finish the main campaign. This doesn’t mean it's a bad entry in the Pokemon series by any means, and it’s certainly more accessible for newcomers. Pokemon Sun and Moon's l🐬ush world and interesting story are still worth working your way through, and it also has nice features that build on what was established in X and Y, including tons of character customization options and more of a social aspect.

9. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo DS

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl introduced Pokemon trading into the modern age. Instead of using a cable link, the games made use of the Nintendo DS' WiF🐼i connectivity to trade Pokemon with other players. While so🐟me new features did come into play too, most of them built on those that were already introduced in Ruby and Sapphire.

Before the enhanced Platinum version came along, the animations had a habit of slowing down the battle sequences, which made the pacing feel a bit off. It ༒also deserves some credit for its story: the evil Team Galactic conducts science experiments to try and take control of the Legendaries in the Sinnoh region in some rather weird ways, but it's not as gripping as other stories we get to experience.

8. Pokemon X and Y

Pokemon X and Y, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo 3DS

Pokemon X and Y took Pokemon into the world of 3D on the Nintendo 3DS and let us experience its universe like never before. It was a significant change from the other titles that came before it and felt like it truly marked the start of a new era for the long-running franchise. The char♚ming sprites of yesteryear turned into gorgeous 3D models on the handheld, which elevated the battle sequences to new animated heights. The Pokemon-Amie system was also introduced for the first time, which lets you interact with your Pokemon companions and form bonds with them. It was a welcome touch that finally let you pet and play with your favorite battling buddies.

X and Y also brought in a lot more customization, allowing you to change the look and style of your trainer. While it is only cosmetic, it added to the role-playing element of the experience in a fun way. X and Y propelled the series forward and laid down the groundwork for what was to come in Sun and Moon. It also introduced yet more interesting Pokemon, including the addition of the fairy-type, as well as new social features. While it isn't quite as good꧟ as some of the earlier games, it’s one of the best-looking entries in the franchise so far and will always be notable for transitioning the main Pokemon series into the realm of 3D.

7. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platforms: Nintendo Switch

2022's Pokemon Scarlet and Violet might not have had the most bug-free S🤪witch launch of all time, but when it comes to the more modern franchise releases🙈, it's certainly one of the most ambitious. Raids are back, and although the graphics are often clunkier than they are fluid, it's still a good time to be had.

With two new rideable Pokemon and a unique multiplayer mechanic, our review hit the nail on the head when Joel Franey claimed it as "probably the most interesting mainline Pokemon game﷽ in a long time – for better and worse."

6. Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends Arceus, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo Switch

This entry in the main Pokemon series is as close as the franchise has gotten to a reboot in its storied histo🍎ry. (And there are even arguments as to whether it should be considered "mainline" in the first place.) It's the first game that really opens up the world, giving you a chance upon chance to run ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚinto Pokemon the wild - just like you would if we did live in a world populated by the little pocket monsters.

With an incredible story (that takes you back to a time in the world of Pokemon we've never seen before) and new gameplay elements that give the series a bit of a refresh, Pokemon Legends Arceus is a fantastic addition💜 to the franchise that takes the tried-and-true formula and expands it outwards. If you love Pokemon, you'll love this.

5. Pokemon Sword and Shield

Pokemon Shield, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo Switch

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Sword and Shield were one of the most anticipat𒁏ed games of 2019, and with good reason. As the first entry in the core Pokemon series to land on Nintendo's hybrid console, Sword and Shield ope♒ned us up to the world of Pokemon like never before. The Galar Region made for a delightful setting based in the UK, and it's easy to spend several hours in its expansive Wild Area catching all the roaming Pokemon and uncovering everything it has to offer.

The Galarian form designs also nodded to aspects of the UK, and bo🔯nding with all the critters using the new camp feature was a welcome touch. In our review we said it's a "Pokemon game for a new generation," thanks to some of the 🦩more accessible features it introduced, allowing new players to ease into the formula we know and love. While it might be a touch easier than other entries in the series, Sword and Shield offers a fantastically memorable experience with a cast of colorful characters and Pokemon. And it's easily the best-looking Pokemon game to date.

4. Pokemon Black 2 and White 2

Developer: Game Freak
Platform: Nintendo DS

While it's also well worth c๊hecking out Pokemon Black and White, the sequels Pokemon Black ꦏ2 and White 2 take you to a far more interesting, evolved version of the Unova region. With Black and White exploring one of the most memorable storylines, the sequels only building on that all the more in a new adventure that takes place two years after the events of the first games.

Complete with beautiful sprites, a World Tournament feature that lets you take on past gym leaders, and an achievement🌳-like system that sees you earning medals, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 have so much to offer - with one of the best post-game setꦏ ups of the series to boot.

Read our Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 review.

3. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platforms: Game Boy, Nintendo DS

While a lot of formula remained unchanged, Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire took tඣhe series into a vibrant world of color on the GameBoy Advance. The Pokemon sprites popped from the screen like never before, and the magical start-up screen is hard to forget. It was also the first Pokemon game to introduce a lot of elements and features that continued throughout the series. 2v2 double battles popped up for the first time, and Pokemon were also attributed with different Natures which affected their overall stats.

An extensive list of𒐪 new abilities was also first introduced in this entry, which were specific to different types - this added more depth to the battles compare🐼d to the games that came before. Contests were also brought in to add new challenges to the gameplay. The Hoenn region was a great setting, and the Legendary Pokemon Groudon and Kyogre - who could summon a specific weather element into battle - were very memorable. Since Ruby and Sapphire built upon what Silver and Gold established without veering off into any drastic new direction, it didn’t feel quite as special.

Read our Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire review.

2. Pokemon Red and Blue

Pokémon Red and Blue, one of the best Pokémon games.

Developer: Game Freak
Platforms: Game Boy, Nintendo 3DS

Going back to where it all began, Pokemon Red and Blue set us on the path to be the very best, like no one ever was, and we haven’t looked back since. The world of Kanto still feels just as magical as it ever did, and the original 151 Pokem🍌on are the most memorable in the franchise’s history for their wonderful designs. Who can forget the classic starter Pokemon, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander? The first games captured our imaginations and made us wish with every fiber of our being that we could really be trainers in the real world.

Thankfully, ℱPokemon Go helped us get closer than ever to realizing that dream, but you still can’t quite beat the classic Pokemon experience. The Gameboy graphics have a nostalgic charm you don’t quite get with the later entries, and it’s still very playable to this day, which is a testament to just how good it is. While it established the long-running series we all know and love, it ൩doesn’t quite make the top spot.

1. Pokemon Gold and Silver

Pokemon Gold and Silver screenshot showing a trainer riding a bike

Developer: Game Freak
Platforms: Game Boy, Nintendo 3DS

After Pokemon Red and Blue put the world into a Pokemon frenzy, the sequel had some big shoes to fill. Fans everywhere for eager for more, and thankfully Silver and Gold delivered just that in the best way possible. Bigger and better than before, the second generation introduced 100 excellent and memorable additions to the Pokemon library, along with two new Pokemon types, and a whole host of new moves. It brought in some interesting new features that changed up the game in fun new ways. Introducing a day and night cycle added time-specific challenges, and brought in some Pokemon that could only 🅠be caught at certain times of day. Silver and Gold still had all the hallmark🌼s that made the first games so enjoyable, but it expanded the experience to cement itself as the superior Pokemon game.

And better yet, when you reach the end of the game, you get to unlock the Kanto region from Red and Blue, which allows you to revisit all of the gyms and trainers. Silver and Gold was a giant leap forward for the franchise, and nothing has quite compared to it since. Pokemon Crystal then came swooping in as a shiny enhanced remake of Silver and Gold, and it's especially notable since it was the first ever Pokemon title that let you decide whether you want to play as a boy or a gওirl. Thankfully, this became a mainstay feature in every game that followed.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]> The Pokemon Company is attempting to sue six companies in China due to copyright infringement for a very Pokemon-like game currently available ℱon mobile.

As reported by , The Pokemon C🎃ompany is suing six Chinese companies for copyright infringement and "unfair competition behaviour" due to a mobile game known as 'Pocket Monster Reissue' that bares a striking resemblance to the Pokemon IP.

According to the original article, The Pokemon Company has applied for a court order to stop♛ the development, distribution, operation, and p🦋romotion of Pocket Monster Reissue and is claiming 500 million yuan ($72.5 million) in damages from the China-based companies in question. It is also demanding that the app’s developers all issue public apologies on popular Chinese websites and social media platforms such as Tencent.com and NetEase.

You ca❀n see why the mobile game has caught The Pokemon Company's attention, as a screenshot on digital storefronts contains images of Ash Ketchum, Oshawott, Tepig, and the company’s mascot Pikachu - without any major alterations or changes made to the designs.

The original article states that Pocket Monster Reissue has been available to download (without Nintendo's permission) since 2015, with one of the companies responsible for it Zhongnan Heavy Industries’ financial report from 2016 claiming that the game made "mor🔜e than 300 millioꦯn yuan of total turnover" just a year after it was released.

In more positive Pokemon news, the next mainline games in the long-running series, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, are due to release in just a couple of months now. After initially being revealed at the start of the year, The Pokemon Compan𒀰y has ramped up promotion for the gen nine games ahead of their November 18, 2022 release date.

The listing doesn't go i🔯nto much detail ab𒈔out what all will be maintained in the archive, but "TCG samples" will be a part of it. The archive will include both "digital repositories," and the archivist will assist in "the construction of the internal physical repository with knowledge of archival standards and best practices."

While Pokemon is bigger than just its video games, organizations like the Video Game History Foundation have been aiming their sites at preservation not just of video games themselves, but the development and marketing materials that tell the story of their development and impact. Companies have historically done a poor job of maintaining their own histories, so it's good to see The Pokemon Company sꦍtarting to maintain its own internal archive.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are on the way this year, and leakers are once again claiming to have early details on what to expect.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in The-pokemon-company ]]>

Over our years of knowing Pikachu both as a mascot and a p൩arty member, we've never been particularly impressed by his investigative work. That's set to change in a new Pokemon title which casts the electric mouse as senior partner at a detective agency, reports.

The new game was revealed in a Japanese television show earlier this week. In it, players work🌞 work alongside Pikachu to solve mysterious cases, using the 3DS touch screen to search for objects of interest.

But it would be kind of tough to work complex cases with a partner who can only say his own name, right? Well, Pikachu can talk now. And not just in cute, non-grammatical sentences--he's a grizzled, cynicཧal gumshoe and he speaks like one. We're not kidding.

The Pokemon Company aims to complete the game within two years, and we can only hope that this strange new🍌 take on the monster-battling series wil🌃l make it outside of Japan.
