<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-06T23:02:57Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Jurassic World Evolution 3 was officially announced during Summer Game Fest 2025 Live, with a♛ dino-filled trailer that confirme🐠d the upcoming adventure is releasing on October 21, 2025.

The announcement trailer was ♋narrated by the one and only Jeff Goldblum, who will be reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm once again. Goldblum also previously appeared in the Jurassic World Evolution 2 back in 2021, which put a heavy focus on the movie franchise with the likes of Bryce Dallas Howard also appearing in her role a🌠s Claire Dearing.

We don't yet know if any other famous voices will be in the third entry alongside Goldbl🗹um, but it's great to hear Ian Malcolm is back, and he even says his most iconic line to introduce the new game: "Life finds a way". Classic.

Most exciting of all, though, is what is shown off, with the debut trailer showcasing various dinosaur families roaming around parks. Who knew baby T-rexes could be so c🀅ute? And don't even get me started on the pterosaurs we see perched by their parent. We haven't seen young di🅠nos in the series before, and with the promises of bringing some family life to parks, the cute factor is frankly off the pre-historic charts.

Set to land on PC, Xbox Seri♚es X|S, and PS5, the trailer also confirmed pre-orders are now live for the upcoming entry, with Frontier revealing a Deluxe Edition in an official press release following the 🌳announcement.

The Deluxe Edition comes with four additional dinosaur "family units", including the herbivore Protoceratops, tyrannosaurs🃏 relative Guanlong, which is known for its feathery plumes, the Thantatosdrakon, and Concavenator w🐲hich is said to be an "aerodynamic hunter."

Those who pre-order will also get the Badlands Set at launch, which gives you a collection of🍸 sc♓enery items inspired by the original Jurassic Park film's dig site, and more.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> The eternal rule is that if an indie game truly pops off, there's bound to be a ton of knockoffs and ripoffs following in its footsteps to try to get in on that wave. Vampire Survivors' creator Luca Galante said 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:his game was "lucky" to cut through the the influx of mobile knockoffs, and there's no doubt countless devs feel the same way. And as the biggest indie breakout of 2025 so far, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Schedule 1 is already facing the same problem.

The drug dealing simulator, which launched onto Steam earlier this year, is currently exclusive to PC, but due to the terrible standards of the console marketplaces, ripoffs have already been emerging. PS5 ဣsaw "S▨chedule 1: Syndicate" and "Dope Wars: Schedule 1" looking to nab the money of people who maybe aren't quite as familiar with games. And now, a day after the launch of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2, we already have a new Schedul🎀e 1 knockoff making the round🐭s on the eShop.

appeared on the eShop today, June 6, available for the Switch but💫 with Switch 2 compatibility, and published by UIGAMES (not TVGS, wꦑho made the real game).

If the name wasn't enough, the key art, which I'm not 100% sure is AI, but has the generic uncanny feeling that stinks of AI a⛄rt, is a dead remake of the actual art, featuring a character pointing a gun with a smoke in his mouth and with plants in the background. Except they've inexplicably given them a banana for a gun and also a rastacap.

In the past, Tyler, the creator of Schedule 1, has said that he'd 🅰"love to port Schedule I to console when the game is at the right stage for that." With the game still in early access, it may be a while until that happens. The full release is set for around 2027 according to the game's .

And until Nintendo and Sony get better 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:quality checks for their stores, this is sadly inevitable for now.

Nintendo says it'll "be able to meet that demand" for Switch 2 through 2025, so don't worry about another PS5 situation.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> It's an exciting time for fans of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Sims 4, as a brand-new expansion pack trailer seems like it's underway – and between its short teaser and the cryptic hints on EA's website, it appears a beloved Sims 3 feature may finallyꦫ be coming to the life sim.

The only concrete teaser we have is a clip from a featurin🔯g Megan Thee Stallion, Quen Blackwell, and Ebonix. It starts about 33 minutes and 43 seconds into the overall video, showcasing what looks almost exactly like a fairy house from The Sims 3, albeit in The Sims 4, this time. The little house emits a glittery glow and bounces about as if a party is underway inside before text pops up indicating a "new trailer" is dropping on June 12.

What that new trailer is, the video doesn't ꧒specify – but judging by the small home's features, how it mirrors the fairy houses and parties in The Sims 3, and how long the community has been asking for fairies, it comes as no surprise that fans are convinced they know what the next Sims 4 expansion pack will include. "Yep, it's definitely fairies! I am SO excited," one such player exclaims under a recent thread regarding the teaser.

from

"I'm really excited they're adding fairies💖 (hopefully)," adds another fan. "It better be fairies." The short clip isn't the only insinuation from EA that fair folk are in the works, either – an from the developers has been updated a few times now, most recently to show an image and text hinting toward an alchemy-aligned new skill – the "Apothecary skill." This, coupled w𓆏ith the site's past hints, has players doubling down on their theories.

from

On a separate post referencing one of the website teasers, the community can be seen speculating what "Mystical Sims" and "Disruptive Sims" may mean, as well as if the mention of "Plant Lovers" might point to a long-awaited PlantSim overhaul – something 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:mods have taken care of in the meantime. "Disruptive a🦹nd Mystical Sims? Is it possible for two different occults,"𒆙 questions a fan in the replies, "evil and nice fairies?"

That could indicate an even more fleshed-out fairy system than The Sims 3. Other teasers on EA's mysterious website seemingly name-drop the potential expansion pack's accompanying neighborhood, "Innisgreen," a location that sounds as enchanting as the Realm of Magic DLC's own world feels. It's a lot to piece together, but come June 12, we'll hopefully know for certain whether fairies are finally making a comeback or not.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> There are few things more captivating than informed and passionate individuals explaining their interest or demonstrating their craft. The passion of one train-loving 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley fan has managed to catch the attention of game creator Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone himself in a lengthy argument for accurate engines in the beloඣved farmin⛎g sim.

Last we🍌ek, Twitter user – checks notes – , who I'm just going to call Pilar going forward, implored Barone: pleaౠse, sir, make the train more accurate. It's an immensely amusing interaction that I happened to stumble upon, and I wanted to share it.

In a series of four posts, Pilar explained that "As an avid railroad enthusiast it is my sworn duty (not really) to notice discrepancies in railroad art and train references throu🍸ghout life," and "one such discrepancy" in Stardew simply must be re💮ctified. I knew A Train Person once, and all of this tracks so far.

"The locomotive in stardew is a very old fashioned ten wheeler (4-6-0 wheel arrangement) that would’ve been manufactured in the later quarter of the 19th century," they begin, adding that "these locomotives were ALWAYS accompanied by a tender (coal car) the tender holds the fuel for the locomotive, the water and the coal or for the time, maybe wood," Pilar continues, finally pau🌊sing for breath with a merciful period.

"The tender is REQUIRED for these locomotives due to the locomotive not having water storage tanks or a coal / wood bunker, the tender is the other half of the engi⛦ne." I think🐻 it goes without saying that all of the capitalization is Pilar's handiwork, not mine.

Pilar concludes: "So, as a railfan and someone who loves seeing trains accurately represented. PLEASE add a tender to the locomotive in stardew valley, without it the train is anatomically in🗹correct. If you want design inspiration, the in-game engine already resembles Sierra Railroad #3."

I am a game journalist, not a train journalist, but some quick research suggests Pilar is bang-on with their breakdown and recommendation. yourself, as it's appeared in enough films to earn the nickname "Movie Star Locomotive." Picture a black trai🍌n engine right now and you'll probably get pretty close.

to say, "interesting, thanks for the info."💝 Which, I like to imagine, probably made this train fan's day.

Did Stardew's train ever bother me before? No. Wiᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚll it bother me with this newfound knowledge weighing on my mind? Also no. And will Stardew Valley actually update its train logistics in the future with this detail in mind? I have no idea, but if it does happen, I'll be thinking of Pilar.

It's "more of an action RPG," but Eric Barone says Haunted Chocolatier is still "a life sim" and "similar to Stardew Valley in many ways" but with more "dark and mysterious" vibes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> With thousands of "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam and a stellar reputation as a mashup of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley and Sailor Moon vibes, early acceꦯss farming sim Fields of Mistria is set to get even bigger and better this summer with a new update.

Developer NPC Studio shared some of what's to come in its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:previously outlined roadmap, but th𝔍e veil has now fully been lifted on the update planned for this July in a recent . From an NPC Heart cap raise from six to eight and accompanying events for certain ♋characters to dating, it's looking like quite a hefty patch. Romance-related changes aren't the only features developers have in store, however – there's plenty more to come.

Dungeon-delving⛎ players can expect to see new monsters in the mines with updated variant mechanics and fresh unlockable cosmetic drops to boot. The Renown Level cap is set to go up by five levels, too, with additional renovation quests and requests coming to the in-town Request Board, and Museum sets to complete ♉for brand-new rewards. There are also two unlockable Saturday Market vendors in the works, as well as a festival.

NPC Studio is raising skill caps from level 45 to level 60, too, with additional tier four and five skill perks. For fans like me who love nothing more than customizing and decorating, fret not – a new home☂ upgrade is underway along with furniture and decorations, as are additional player cosmetics. Players will also have access to greenhouses, larger storage chests, an improved storage chest UI, and more, come the update.

The summer patch stands as the farming sim's third major update, coming after 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:past additions like adorable mounts to ride around on. It marks NPC Studio being one step closer to Fields of Mistria's full release, too – although there's quite a bit more on the way.

Enter Doloc Town, which has all this plus a gorgeous pixel art aesthetic and mesmerizing soundtrack.

Blending 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley's farming and Terraria's 2D side-scrolling base-building, is currently in early access, and already has 673 reviews and a 'Very Positive' score on Steam. People can't stop describing what genres it's merging. "Metroidvania post-apocalyptic farming sim... weird combo that surprisingly works ꦿvery well," reads one review.

If you're worried about it simply being a derivative Stardew Valley and Terraria knockoff, don't be. One review describes it as a "unique take on Life/Farm 𓆉Sims with hints of metroidvania, and an aesthetic flair for the post-apocalypse."

I'm a massive fan of post-apocalyptic games, and I also love farming simulators, but while Atomicrops just misses the mark for me, Doloc Town looks like a perfect blend🦹.

It helps that it has "fun writing and a progression that feels nuanced and varied." It also goes beyond just building up a farm and planting crop꧑s, as the tra𝕴iler shows some bullet-hell combat and a whole host of weapons that you can create. You've got to protect your plants somehow.

There's🧔 also a story to uncover as you investigate the "untold stories of this forgotte🍌n land."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Schedule 1, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:viral drug-dealing simulator, i꧅s getting a new update that finally includes a long-awaited fan request: filter🍨s to help employees manage which items go into which slots.

The developer of Schedule 1, known only as T🐎yler, posts to twitter: "The next update will contain slot filters, which tell employees which items should go in which slots. Bet💝a should be up in 1-2 days!" It seems to be available now.

Replies to the tweet are ve🌠ry positive. "Our patron saint of dealing hath heard our prayers," reads . "Looking forward to i🌳t, King," one fan. "Oh wow that looks nice. Thanks Tyler," another.

But why is this feature even needed? Well, in Schedule 1, you ca﷽n hire people to help you run your budding drug empire. Walter White wouldn't have been even half as successful without Jesse and Mike.

Cleaner🥂s tidy up and empty the bins, Botanists plant, water, and harvest crops, and handlers package drugs and move things from place to place. Then there are chemists, the ones who can mix up ingredients and cook meth. This new update also helps to rebalance the emp🌱loyees, making the handler more valuable.

"I am stoked on this new update lockers," writes one player ♈on . "And with the fix to loading docks I have gotten a true fully automated production, plus the item filters ensure there is no stalling when mixing. Also when you deliver to loading bays the handlers do the best job now making them as valuable as a chemist."

They also how it works in-game. "So let us say you𒀰 deliver items to four shelves from loading dock, you can set the filter on those shelves to only hold certain items. Like shelf one will only allow horse semen to be stored there, so each shelf can be perfectly organized without the handler just grabbing everything off the van and putting it on one shelf."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Gaming has always been a social hobby for me. I totally understand those who enjoy jumping into something like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and getting blissfully lost in the world around them, but that sounds like my personal h🍬ell.

My favorite part about gaming is playing with others – whether that's people I've met through games themselves, reconnecting with old friends or even playing with strangers. A prime example of this is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game which managed to connect people from all🐈 corners of the globe during a ൩time of unparalleled isolation.

All peachy

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历♛史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons review: "The ultimate getaway from reality"

As a first-year estranged student during the first Covid-19 lockdown, I didn't have a home to retreat to like the rest of my university friends did. I was in a city I barely knew, living in a dingey studio apartment, with practically no support system – until a chance text from a friend. "Have you got Animal Crossing: New Horizon﷽s?"

Up until that point, my Nintendo Switch had done nothing but collect dust during lockdown. I normally used it to play party games like Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros when I had friends over – which was now out of the question – but I absolutely adored Animal ಞCrossing: New Leaf, so figured I may as well give it a try.

I bought the game and began setting up my🙈 island. Another text. "What fruit did you get?"

"Peaches," I respond.

"Great, I have apples, I'm coming over to take some peaches and you can have some of my apples," she texted back. Within minutes she was on my island, trading fruit with me, something I didn't even know people did. Boy, was I in for a surprise. She followed me around as I did some landscaping, and for the first time in a while, I felt like I was actually hangi🎃ng out with a friend.

As I spoke to her more while finding my feet in the game, she suddenly needed to leave – sta💧ting she had to go to someone else's island to sell her turnips as it was her turn in the queue. I made the mistake of asking what on earth she was tal𒆙king about, and she opened my eyes to a whole new world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

I hadn't a clue that a game about setting up an island could have so much going on behind the scenes. Yet here I was, scrolling on r/acturnips - a community made subreddit where players share their turnip prices, allowing others to visit and sell their own at extortionate prices for major profit. I was messaging strangers hoping to make some serious bank off of my turnips. As I waited for my turn to visit these islands I would often chat with the Island owners, and while I typically despised small talk, being alone 🦩during lockdown h🎶ad actually made me miss it.

Come for the turnips, stay for the people

As I delved further into the Animal Crossing: New Horizons rabbit hole, I found a whole neꦛw side to the game. Across the globe, entire communities were being formed around every facet of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

For starters, you have online marke💝tplaces like Nookazon, a whole website dedicated entirely to buying, selling and trading items within the game. Strangers would join voice calls with one another to discuss visiting each other's islands to exchange gifts in the website's dedicated Discord server.

People would place call outs🦂 on social media as they hunted for a specific item or recipe and others would come to their aid, willing to hand over the goods. Everyone was in this together – players wanted to help how they could, and we all just wanted to have a nice time during a rough situation.

It was clear that 𝐆this game, which was seemingly about quietly rebuilding an island, actually wasn't about that at all. People spent hours in voice calls with complete strangers keeping them com𒅌pany and making friends with other players from opposite ends of the globe. Everyone missed human connection, and Animal Crossing provided that.

Margie in Animal Crossing: New Horizons saying

Animal Crossing: New Horizons fostered a community that provided people with relief at a time where everyone was isolated. Players hosted events like game nights or dress up parties on their islands, giving those who felt isolated an escape, even if only for a short while. Meeting people through games is by no means a new concept, but Animal Crossing: New Horizons tapped into that with a kindliness like no other game I've experienced before. The world came together over turnips, but stayed together for a sense of belonging and connection which was missi🅠ng from the planet during the pand🍌emic.

While the game may not be as popular as it once was, the community has by no means disappeared. People continue to post daily in different subreddits, Discord servers. and 𒁏on social media about the game. That drive to help others, to make friends, continues. Even today, if you need an island t✅o sell your turnips at a high price, you're sure to find one.

Nintendo hit the nail on the head with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While some elements were initially missing (don't get me started on the Brewster debate), the series' sunniest entry resonated with so many people in its peak. Given its heartwarming charm and unique place in time, it's hard to imagine what a potential follow-up may look like on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2. I'm🐓 still eagerly awaiting to see what Nintendo gives us next – and with the upcoming console's all-new GameChat feature being the perfect way for players to meet and chat with new and old friends alike, I'm on the edge of my seat.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone says 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier should still generally be consideredꦜ a life sim despite previously teasing more robust action-RPG elements.

Haunted Chocolatier has been something of a mystery since its reveal back in 202🐓1, and not just because of its spooky, paranormal setting and story.

Although we know it's a fully new game independent from Stardew Valley, on the surface it looks like it cou♓ld be a Halloween-themed Stardew DLC with the same mechanics and gameplay. However, in an for Haunted Chocolatier that's been available for many months, it's described as "more of an action-RPG compared to Stardew Valley," and in a from October 2021, Barone said it'll have "a greater focus on combat" with new mechanics "completely coded (and drawn) from scratch."

Barone also once said he was influenced by Diablo 2 when designing Ha𒆙unted Chocola🌜tier, which put even more distance between it and Stardew Valley. But in a new interview with , he closes theꦍ gap considerably.

"I will just say generally that it is a life sim game, and it is similar to Stardew Valley in many ways ... it's the kind of game I like making. I'🎀m really interested in Haunted Chocolatier to really crank up the imagination and the creativity. I want to go all out with doing weird and interesting things. I love giving people memorable experiences."

From purely a gameplay perspective, it sounds like Haunted Chocolatier will be a blend of Stardew's cozy f✃arming and the action-RPG genre's numbers-go-up dopamine chase. Personally, I'm most intrigued by what hides in the dark.

"I view [Stardew Valley]🌃 as sunny and bright and lush, and Haunted Chocolatier is more dark and mysterious. Not evil dark, but just like mysterious dark, and a little bit paranormal, you know, things that, you're not sure what this is all about."

Overall, this is probably mostly a reassurance to longtime Stardew fans that Haunted Chocolatier isn't completely ditching its predecessor's cozy vibes that make it one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best farming sims of all time.

Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe worries follow-up Haunted Chocolatier might "ruin the teeth of a whole generation": "I'm thinking about doing it so you can only eat like two chocolates per day"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Here's a feel good story. A solo indie developer who lives on a boat made a game about a boat - o📖r, more specifically, about cleaning up ocean waste and oil spillage while driving a boat - and it's been a huge success.

Developer 'Lente' that their debut game called Spilled! sold a whopping 50,000 copies within its first month, fuelled mainly by how frequently it's gone viral over the last few months. The trailer belo꧒w giv🅰es you a sense of the game's chill, contemplative vibe - and, honestly, with an art style like that, I'm not shocked that it's attracted so many eyes on social media.

Spilled! takes place across eight different areas and four different biomes - the general loop is that you'll suck up black, goopy puddles of oil to generate enough cash to move on to the next level, where'll find different kinds of waste over timඣe. You can also buy some handy upgrades for your boat or spend as much time as you like lookꦅing for 16 lost animals.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier , the follow-up to Stardew Valley, was announced back in October 2021, but creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone can't say whetherꦕ it'll be out in five years.

To be fair, Barone was p✨ut on the spot in an appearance on Bobby Lee's TigerBelly podcast (timestamped ), and he was probably just being extra careful not to commit to anything or confirm a launch window on a podcast, but his answer gives you an idea of how early in development Haunted Chocolatier appears to be despite being announced almost four years ago.

"I hope so," he said when asked directly if Haunted Chocolatier will come ou൩t within the next five ꦐyears. "That's the goal ... there's a lot that still needs to be done."

Barone has been candid about st🦩rugglin𒐪g to find time to work on Haunted Chocolatier when he was still actively developing Stardew Valley 1.6, but now that the big update's shipped on all platforms, he's recently committed to fully workin💞g on the follow༒-up game.

"It has to be better [tha🌃n Stardew Valley}," Barone added.

Meanwhile, in the same interview, he set th🀅e internet ablaze by 𒆙uttering the words "Stardew Valley 2," seemingly for the first time publicly. Barone s🐻aid he "might eventually" make a full-blown sequel to Stardew Valley, but one can hope he'll make sure Haunted Chocolatier releases first, because us spooky cozy sickos ne🃏ed our fix too.

Eric Barone says "if there was gonna be another" Stardew Valley update after 1.6, he wouldn't announce it until it was "completely finished" on all platforms.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Stardew Valley creat﷽or Eri๊c Barone has repeatedly said he doesn't intend on ever fully closing the book on his beloved farming sim, and while he also has yet to confirm for 𒐪certain whether it'll ever get another update, he does want to change the way he announ♐ces and releases them.

In an interview with Bobby Lee's TigerBelly podcast (), Barone is (jokingly) confronted about the delay between 1.6's launch on PC and its release on other platforms. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The massive update launched in March 2024 on PC and in November 2024 for console and mob𒁃ile platforms.

While console and mobile Stardew Valley players waited in agony for 1.6, Barone sa💜id "it was like nine months of hell" and "it made me very depressed."

That's why, if there is an update 1.7, Barone w🍃ants everyone to experience it at the same ꦦtime.

"I want to make sure that never happens again ... I'll tell you this, if there was gonna be another update, I wouldn't announcᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe it this time until it's completely finished, and I mean I want it to be done on all the platforms, because there was so much dissatisfaction this time around, and it was really just not fun," Barone said.

At another point in the podcast, Barone was pressed on whether there will ever be a full-on sequel to Stardew Valley, and he sure as hell didn't say no. In fact, he straight up said: "I might eventually make a Stardew♍ Valley 2." So there you have it.

Eric Barone is "committed to not working on Stardew Valley until I'm done with Haunted Chocolatier," but he'll "never say" he's completely done with his magnum opus.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> I know there are plenty of hardworking Stardew Valley farmers – their bones aching, their knees buckling – who are sick of waiting for creator Eric Barone's upcoming adventure game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier, which was first announced four years ago. So I'm sorry to do this, but you deserve to know that there's another game you need to start anticipating: Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, says he might one day make a Stardew Vall𝓰ey sequel.

"I might eventually make a Stardew Valley 2, to be honest" Barone says during of comedian 𝔍Bobby Lee's podcast 🎃Tiger Belly.

But it sꦍounds like 🤪turning that throwaway podcast thought into a tangible Steam purchase would be frustrating.

"It's just so much easier to just add more stuff to Stardew Valley than to make a whole new game from scratch,♊" Barone elaborates. "The major systems are already all done. That's the stuff that's not fun to do. When I make an update, it's like, you know – 'oh, throw in this, throw in that. Let's add green rain.'"

But what about the financial opportunity Stardew Valley 2 presents? A sequel to one of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the most popular farming sims in history w𒁏ouldn't just🧔 be a geyser of oil – it would be a flood, right?

"I just don'🍌t care," Barone replies when Lee asks h🍷im why he won't charge for Stardew updates. "I just don't care about money that much, to be honest."

Barone reiterates that, while he won't count out the idea of a Stardew sequel, "I don't want t🐠o just be the Stardew Valley guy. That's why I'm making Haunted Chocolatier." Whi🅘ch brings me back to my first point…

Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe worries follow-up Haunted Chocolatier might "ruin the teeth of a whole generation": "I'm thinking about doing it so you can only eat like two chocolates per day."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Eric Barone, better known as ConcernedApe, isn’t taking 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier lightly♛, even when it comes to how much chocolate players should b🤡e allowed to eat.

In a recent video interview with , the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley creator joked about a potential health crisis his magical n🔯ew game might cause. “ I worry about that with Haunted Chocolatier,” he says. “Am🧸 I going to ruin the teeth of a whole generation with this?”

The comment, delivered with a grin, came as part of a broader conversation about food and its role in Barone’s games. Stardew Valley was built around the “fundamentals of human susteജnance and existence,” according to Barone. Crops, cooking, and the small town routine. Haunted Chocolatier represents a shift in tone: “We have our basic needs met”, Barone explains, “now let's take it beyond into the realm of the ethereal, and the creative, and you might even say, luxury.”

That sense of luxury and indulgence is exactly why Barone is considering a limit on chocolate consumption in the game. “I’m thinking about doing it, so you can only eat like two chocolates a day.” believing that in r🎀eal life, multiple bars of chocolate in a day is a bit excessive.

He also floated the idea of healthy chocolate alternatives, referencing real-lif🐻e superfoods. “I want to have healthy chocolates too, like superfood, ashwagandha, or maca root chocol♕ate, y’know, special stuff.” These superfood chocolates may come with benefits and buffs in-game that help to balance Barone's health aspects and concerns.

As with much of Haunted Chocolatier, Barone is still figuring out the specifics. But the c🐈ore philosophy is consistent with what’s made Stardew Valley such a beloved hit: giving mechanics meaning, and making the smallest actions feel like they matter. Chocolate may be whimsical, but in Barone’s mind, it’s also deliberate. “With Haunted Chocolatier, it will really crank up the imagination a💮nd the creativity.”

Whether players end up limited to two chocolates a day or a “town dentist” is introduced, the message behind the mechanic is delightfully clear: ﷺa little sweetness goes a long way, in chocolate and in game design.

Stardew Valley creator says he's done "a ton of work" on his next game Haunted Chocolatier, but it needs a lot more: "It’s okay, I’m addicted to the grind"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> While 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley obviously didn't create the farming sim genre, it's definitely one of the main games that led to the resurgence of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:cozy game. The likes of Ooblets, Cozy Grove, Coral Island, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth have all blown up in the time since (although 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons can take just as much blame for that). One of the bigger entries into the genre over the last few years is Gameloft's Disney Dreamli♐ght Valley, which infuses the genre with a roster of Disney characters from my boy Remy the rat to Jack Skellington.

Speaking to PC Gamer at GDC 2025, Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) was asked which 𒐪games in the life-sim genre had caught his eye as of late, to which he gave a shoutout to fellow indies Sunhaven and Graveyard Keeper. However, Barone admitted "I did boot up Disney Dreamlight Valley." He said the Disney life sim caught his attention because of the similarity of the game's names, saying, "Wait, it's called Dreamlight Valley? What's going on h🍎ere? So I had to check it out." Although, despite the similar titles, Barone said, "I'd say it's more like Animal Crossing than Stardew."

But despite tough competition from a roster of indie titles and the l💛ikes of Disney, Barone is happy that the genre is thriving, saying, "It's really great that Stardew – I mean, I can't take all the credit for this – but that Stardew seems to have inspired people to consider this kind of game. I loved those kind of games growing up, Harvest Moon was my favorite." He added, "It's great to see a resurgence of that kind of game and see that maybe Stardew inspired other developers to make games🎀 in this style. I think it's cool."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley creator Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone didn't think the life sim's most-hated character would be quite as unpopular as he is because, acc✱ording to the developer, Pierre's not as awful as some fans make out.

There's a running joke (sometimes not a joke) in the community about how darn insufferable Pelican Town's local shop owner Pierre can be. For one, he makes some questionable comments during his daughter Abigail's questline. Hಞe's also hiding a 'secret stash' from h🧜is wife that you can confront him about. And perhaps his worst sin of all? He closes shop every Wednesday.

But in an intervi🍌ew with , Barone defends the hard-working dad who does his best to keep his small business open amid megacoﷺrp Joja Mart's expansion.

"I assumed people wouldn't like Pierre, but I didn't realize the extend to which they would hate Pierre," Barone sai🦄d. "And, I think,💞 I kind of advocate for Pierre a little bit. I think he's not as bad as some people think. I mean, he does, after all - well, I don't want to spoil it - but he plays a crucial role in the community center path, you know, at the end of the game."

Barone's of course referring to the cutscene that plays if you decide to rebuild the community center instead of siding with Joja Mart to turn it into a warehouse. That's a conflict 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚBarone regrets making so 🍨"black and white," as he said if he 🐲could rewind time, he'd add a little bit more "nuance" to the storyline.

ConcernedApe regrets making Stardew Valley's fishing minigame "too hard" when you start out, but still thinks it's good overall: "I know it's controversial"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley's creator reckons its central decision between building a community center or helping a gian🌜t supermarket chain from turning it into a warehouse was too "black and white."

Stardew Valley doesn't offer a ton of tough, moral choices, except for the objective at the heart of the game. You can choose to grind, build friendships, and work together with the other villagers to restore the community center. Or you can pay to turn it into a Joja warehouse - the basic rewar🍌ds are the same, but the journey to get there differs.

Speaking to , Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone said he would have to "lean community center," 🍸even though the decision is "one of the things I kind of regret about Stardew Valley."

"I feel like it's a little bit too on the nose with, like, 'Joja are the bad guys and the community ಌcenter is the right way to do it,'" Barone said. "It's like, I think if I made Stardew Valley again, I would try to be a little more nuanced. Like, maybe there are some positives to Joja, you know? Nothing is ever that black and white in reality. There's usually nuance to everything. And that was something that I wanted to have in Stardew Valley - like nuance and things - but I kind of failed in that particular aspect, I would say."

Of course, in the context of the game, who could blame Barone fo💝r siding with the community center? The player character finds comfort in rural life after having escaped a mindless office job working for JojaMart, so falling back into their clutches feels like falling back into your old ways.

Maybe Barone's next game, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier, will have a little more of th🍰at "nuance" he's after.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley is a very chill way to spend some time if you like🌸 the idea of leaving the bustling cಞity and settling into life on a wee farm. The fishing, though? That's a different ball game. Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone is well aware, too, saying that he knows it's "controversial" but still thinks "it's fun."

"I like fishing minigames and I like Stardew Valley's fishing minigame," he tells . "I know it's controversial – a lot of p🍌eople hate it, but I think it's fun."

So why the hate? It depends on who you ask, but it ranges from how fiddly it is to get to grips 🌌with initially to how much of a pain it is to collect all of 💦'em legendary fish.

"My regret with the Stardew Valley fishing minigame is that🥂 I think it starts out too hard," Barone reflects. "I think there should have been a better curve, so it starts out easy﷽ and then it gets a little harder because you're catching more difficult fish.

"But the way I did it, you start out with this tiny little bar, and it's like, 'Ah, I should have sജtarted with the bar a little bit bigger. ' But I still think the fish༒ing game is good overall."

If you're ✨looking for a way forward, though, Barone has a tip –💎 and it only costs 25 gold.

"I know a lot of people really hate it, so I tried to mitigate it a little bit by adding the training rod, which a lot of people don't know about," he shares. "You can buy it for like [25] gold at Willy's shop, and it makes the fishing a lot easier. Although you can only catch fish 🔴below a certain tier and quality. But it's good for training. You can level up, and then when you switch to the regular rod, your bar will be a lot bigger."

You'll need to keep that tip in your back pocket for now, as Eric Barone is "committed to not w🍎orking on Stardew Valley until I'm done with Haunted Chocolatier.🎐" Thankfully,ജ he'll "never say" he's completely done with his magnum opus.

Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone "started off having no ambitions" for the farming RPG's success, and he was afraid even Harvest Moon fans "would probably hate it."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tales of the Shire, the forthcoming 'cozy' life sim game set in the Lord of the Rings world, is♓ letting you be as messy as Hobbits are known to bꦜe.

In a new develo♒per blog about the making of the game, UX designer Jordan Peat delves into how home decoration works this time around and how it differs to other neatly-organized games in the genre. What sets Tales of the Shire apart from things like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, in particula𝔍r, is that home (hole) decoration doesn't operate on a grid.

"Home decoration is kind of one of our core ways of expressing yourself in the game," Peat explains. "Very early on, we actually decided on making it gridless. So you don't place anything on a square within a♚ grid, and [it's] a really powerful tool for the player to be able to place [things] anywhere they want and also chang🌸e whatever they want.

"If you want to, you can cover your walls with shelves and pictures and all of that," Peat adds. "A🦩nd you can put individual items on every shelf. Big items, small items - there is no limit to the kind of stuff you can have in your house, which allows the player to kind of engage in a clutter-core experience."

Remember how many scrolls and pots and things were haphazardly laid out across every inch of Bilbo Baggins' house in the Lord of the Rings films? Well, that kind of loveable mess isn't really possible to recreate when the game limits you to a grid, and it's crucial that this game does make car꧋efully considered clutter an option because Hobbits are naturally care-💙free. It wouldn't be much of a Hobbit game if we were all forced to be super organized, after all.

After another delay, Tales of the Shire is now澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: coming out on July 29 for PC, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Se♎ries X|S.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone has praised Baldur's Village, the massive mod merging his farming sim with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 – but he hasn't tried it yet.

Speaking in a recent interview with PC Gamer, ConcernedApe explains that while he has indeed seen Baldur's Village, the mod that acts as a fan-created expansion bringing a bit of the Baldur's Gate 3 world and its quirky inhabitants to Stardew Valley, he hasn't♛ played it. In fact, he probably hasn't played most mods himself. "I haven't tried it," admits the developer. "I don't really try Stardew Valley mods."

He does seem to quite like the look of it, though. "I have seen pictures of it, screenshots, and I read an article about it, but I think it's cool." ConcernedApe is also happy to see Stardew Valley modding in full swing after the farming gem's massive 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:1.6 update last year, which he says made the ⛄process easier for fans. "The recent Stardew Valley updat✨e 1.6 made it so much easier to mod," says ConcernedApe.

"Modders have so much more power and control over any little thing," he continues, sharing that he hopes the more extensive modding tools introduced in patch 1.6 had helped Baldur's Village creator Xun produce the Baldur's Gate 3-themed Stardew Vally expansion, too: "I'm hopiꦗng that they utilized those features to make this."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone loves working on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley so much that he once said he cou💮ld continue development "forever," but now that the edges have been ironed out of the farming sim's big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:1.6 update, he's finally ready to commit to his next game, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier.

In a conversation with our pals over at PC Gamer, Barone (which we've just learned is pronounced Bar-own-ee) was asked if there's a cut off point for Stardew Valley development, and for the first time he suggeste♕d he's entirely focused on Haunted Chocolatier f🙈or now.

Visibly disgruntled at the thought, Barone said: "It's at that place right now, cause the 1.6 update is pretty settled at this point. There was ongoing conso🌺le ports and bugs and bug fixes and all that stuff, but it's pretty settled now, so I'm committed to not working on Stardew Valley until I'm done with Haunted Chocolati꧃er.

"Now, am I ever gonna completely cut off Stardew Valley? I don't think so, I'm never gonna say that. Because, there have been times that I've said that in the past, and I always ended up makinꩲg another update. So, I don't think there's ever gonna be like, you know, 'it's done.' Maybe when I pass away, you can say the book is closed."

Haunted Chocolatier was first revealed back in 2021, so we've had some time to get used to it🔥s sweet, spectral vibes, although fans expecting a re-skinned Stardew are on track to be sorely disappointed, as Barone has clarified that his next game will be something closer to an action-RPG. Oh, and if you're hoping to play Haunted Chocolatier any time soon, you might also be a little disappointed to hear this:

"I'm still totally knee-deep in development, it's gonna be a while," Barone said. "I'm trying not to rush꧑ myself too much, I'm trying to stay relaxed and stress free. The problem is, I have Stardew Valley that I still have to worry about ... I want the fans to have a great experience, so I'm always concerned with Stardew Valley and making sure it's doing well, and that pulls me away from devoting all of my time to Haunted Chocolatier.

"I think at some point I'm going to have to completely cut off everything else. Honestly, I've thought about, maybe I should just go into a cabin in the woods, and completely get off the internet, and just go, 'OK guys, I'll see you in two years. You won't hear from me at all, and﷽ I'm going to finish this game."

This isn't the first time Barone has expressed how hard it is for him to move on from Stardew Valley, saying previously that he had found it challenging to "to w💖ork on something that isn’t already established and meaningful to people." It seems he's ready to shift focus at long last.

In the meantime, here are some 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Stardew Valley to help you get your chill on.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> My favorite managemeღnt sim, The Movies, has been lost to the mists of time and the swamps of abandonware, but I finally have what may be its succe🌜ssor: Hollywood Animal. This game launched onto early access earlier this month, and I absolutely love the time that I’ve spent with it so far.

On paper, the two are very similar. Much like Lionhead's 2005 simulator, Hollywood Animal sees you run a film studio in 1920s America, having to m🐠ake movies to survive the dog-eat-dog world of showbiz. But while The Movies had a tendency to gloss over the nastier aspects of the film industry – and also lacked more sophisticated systems in general, despiteܫ feeling revolutionary at the time – Hollywood Animal indulges in them. It doesn’t condone those more tarnished edges of the silver screen, but they are very much present – and all the more dramatic for it.

The ol' razzle dazzle

Hollywood Animal

The grimiest example of this is the ability to offer services to prospective actors and crew. These can include the standard kind of swag that actors are offered, like fancy watches, but it can also include, er, less legal services, like heroin. You can also blackmail staff to make them sign a contract extension – and speaking of staff, one of my sound guys is a raging racisജt.

You have your secrets, too. Yo♏u don’t start your own studio from the ground up. Instead, y🍃ou take over a failing one, and your first film is all ready to go, having been left behind by the previous owners. There’s one sticking point – the leading man has died, and you don’t know what to do with his earnings.

Sure, you could pay his family, but the game, whispering into my ear like Satan in the Garden of Eden, noted that his family were already well off, and they’d surely be fine. So I just didn’t pay them, hoping they’d never bring it up. After a while, the secret faded away, and I got away with robbing a dead man’s family. You’ve gotta do what it takes to make i💃t in Hollywood.

As the game developsဣ, it becomes even more like my long-lost love. You can make screenplays from ideas that your writers have, but you can also create your own film from scratch, picking genres, story beats, and the roles of each actor. Sure, you don’t get to be as hands-on as in The Movies, and you don’t get to watch your finished film, but it’s pretty close.

And....cut

You can make screenplays from ideas that your writers have, but you can also create your own fil༒m from scratch...

All ⛎of this isn’t to say that the game is ꦇflawless. It certainly shows its early access spirit. Difficulty, for instance, is far too high at present, and it’s very easy to overspend and end up flat broke. This is especially true given the outrageous salaries that cast and crew alike can demand.

Given that a go𝓀od actor can make or break a picture, this can lead to a snowballing effect where you end up crashing out after making w🐭hat should be your magnum opus, because you couldn’t afford the advertising. Likewise, you can very easily take a brilliant script and end up with a shockingly bad movie, which feels a touch unrealistic.

The UI, too, needs a lot of work. Currently, building upgrades are nestled away in the cons⛎truction menu, and it can be very difficult to figure out what exactly you need to research to get each upgrade. Some research times are extremely long, too, and w𒈔hile you can speed it up with your dual currencies of dollars and influence, it’s hard to make that much of a dent. Sometimes, the terminology that the game uses, while of the time, also feels a little too close to the edge for my liking – one staffing research option is simply titled “illegals”.

The game reminds me somewhat of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:News Tower, the cheery 1930s newspaper simulator, which is one of my current tycoon favorites. They obviously share a setting, but beyond that, there’s a certain sense of grime to them both that shines a light on the issues of the era without ge🍸tting too unpleasant. I can’t help but hope this might mean that tycoon games are mak♕ing a proper resurgence, but time will tell.

In spite of the current flaws that I’ve mentioned, I do recommend checking out Hollywood Animal, especially if you were a fan of The Movies ba༒ck in the day. I have hope that the issues that I’ve mentioned will be ironed out over time, and we’ll end up with an all-timer.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> The only thing that made me give up my Tamagotchi was Nintendogs. I got my copy of Dachshund & Friends along with a pearly pink Nintendo DS for Christmas 2005, and immediately fell in love. Like many other kids, I'd always dreamed of having a pet – something not always easy when living in a bustling apartment block. Nintendogs was my gateway to fulfilling that dream, and at the tender age of 10, I felt like I was winning at life.

20 years later, I'm looking down at the same little husky puppy I adopted that Christmas morning. Aside from being parched, famished, and filthy, Rosy – formatted 'rosy' in my DS, for I didn't know how to capitalize letters – is just as I left her. She's very displeased with me, as are her equally neglected siblings Crystal (a Shetland sheepdog) and Whisky (a dark brown chihuahua), but her baleful blue eyes are immediately forgiving when I tap the screen to get her attention.

Immediately, I've fallen back in love with a game that sounds so simple at its core, but offers the most timeless of experiences: to love and be loved by a four-legged friend. If ever a game was primed for a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 facelift, Nintendogs has to be it.

Bark mode activated

The first thing I do in Nintendogs is apologetically feed and water my poor🌜 little pups. Excited yips and tippy-taps galore signal their joy, running toward the bowls one by one as they start to warm back up to me. It's funny how attached I recall being to these digital playthings, but it's funnier still how strong that attachment remains in 2025.

There's something so subtle yet obvious, clever yet humble, about how the DS' touch screen facilitates such an intimate gaming experience. Stylus in hand, players could get closer to their games than ever before, interacting not through mere buttons alone but their own hands.

It also speaks to how sadly underutilized the touch screen can feel in even the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Switch games by comparison. I can't remember one instance I've ever had to use it meaningfully in a game, whereas the Nintendo DS' touch screen was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:more than a novelty – it was a necessity.

I'm reminded of just how tactile an experience Nintendogs ca꧟n be as I start re-familiarizing myself with the game in 2025. Rosy is still my best girl, so much so that she's the one I take for a bath first. Bathing your dogs is one of the simplest joys of the game, which is in itself largely made up of management sim-shaped mechanics and a series of minigames.

Scrubbing up well

The Nintendo DS' touch screen was more than🔯 a novelty – it was a necessity.

Watching the dark bubbles of dirt and grime go pure whiteཧ after a vigorous scrub, eyes flickering impatiently to the shower head icon as I wait for my dog to be clean enough to earn my "someone looks beautiful!" appraisal from the game, and accidentally grabbing said dog's tail in the process and earning myself an annoyed play-bite… it's all part of the magic Nintendogs weaves from muဣndanity.

Few games elicit the same emotional response as the chance to live out the simplest of fantasies, as any of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best simulation games can attest to, and somewhere along the Mario, Zelda, and Pikachu-studded road, it seems Nintendo has let one of its most novel IPs pass it by so easily.

This is something the Switch 2 could well rectify. Complete with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:impressive motion controls that add a whole new dimension to the handheld experience, it's not hard to imagine how brilliant a Switc🍰h 2 remaster of Nintendogs coul🐬d be if the publisher broadened its horizons by reviving it.

Imagine throwing the discus for your dog with a flick of your hand, or GameChat enabling a more advanced version of Bark Mode to make puppy play-dates with your faraway friends, or teaching your dogs tricks using hand gestures as well as voice commands – something I'd be glad of now, as my DS Lite's microphone is almost definitely broken.

Gaming trends come and go, but much like dreams of wet puppy noses and warm fuzzy tummies, I can't imagine a world wh🎃ere Nintendogs would be unwanted. Especially now that the Switch 2 offers such a prime moment for it to make a grand, fluffy return.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> It's been a few months since I first played the demo for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Promise Mascot Agency, the new open-world management sim from Paradise Killer dev Kaizen Game Works, but I still remember asking myself in disbelief, what the hell is this game? And then quickly declaring, I love it.

Full disclosure: Promise Mascot Agency i🍨s effin' weird. If you understandably don't have the mental capacity to deal with a management sim that's 🍌also partly a visual novel about an exiled Yakuza who invests in a love hotel turned Mascot Agency, with quests and characters that make Like a Dragon's most unhinged moments seem banal by comparison, I would just turn away right now.

However, if you, like me, are a freak, maybe check it out! After all, almost everyone on Steam seems to really like it. With , it's a bonafide hit on the p𒁏latform, with users praising Kiryu actor Takaya Kuroda's performance as the main character, clever writing, and most of all, chaotic good vibes.

That's what I remember most from playing it too. The actual gameplay mechanics are nothing to write home about, although there are some really fun minigames, and while the story is as amusing as the wildest Yakuza sidequest, it's really the lovingly crafted world that sells the package. There's a ton of heart packed into this irresistibly charming little♉ game, and there's truly nothing else like it.

It's important to note that it isn't just weird for 𒁏weird's sake; it's weird with intention, jam-packed with nods to Japanese folklore and mascots inspired by yokai. In fact, maybe Promise Mascot Agency isn't actually weird at all; it's just extremely and unabashedly Japanese, which can come across as bizarre and eccentric to Western-minded players. Actually, I can't imagine it's not just a 🔴little weird to Japanese gamers too, but I'd imagine they're a little more used to this kind of stuff.

Anyway, forget about Bluꦓe Prince. Put the notepad away, turn off your brain, and indulge in the Japanese fever dream that is Promise Mascot Agency.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> On March 19, American Truck Simulator developer SCS Software posted a brief, mysterious teaser video full of engine noises that set the community💃 into rampant speculation mode. Now, nearly a month later, the devs have revealed this was a tease for a project called "Road Trip," which is going to let you cruise the highways from behind the wheels of normal street cars.

"In the past, we've shared our ambition to expand the ways players can engage with the game wo🔯rld – not just through driving Class 8 ꦆtrucks and hauling cargo, but by exploring that same world through different types of vehicles and experiences," the devs say in their .

"Road Trip represents a step in that direction. Once introduced, it should allow players to enjoy the vast landscapes of ATS not only from the cab of an 18-wheeler but also from behind the wheel of, say, a powerful pickup or even a sports car. We hope this new perspective will appeal not only to long-ti♍me players but also to those who may be discovering the world🅰 of ATS for the first time."

The announcement includes a few work-in-progress images of various vehicles, aꦜnd the devs are quick to note that this is all still "in the early stages" of development. But they're already thinking about new gameplay mechanics to encourage exploration, and one of the early co𝄹ncepts is an "exploration journal" that'll have you unlocking themed postcards as you go.

I've been playing ATS off and on since it firs🌟t launched in 2016, and I've always enjoyed the game most as a road trip simulator. Its 1:20 scale map does an incredible job of capturing the spirit of driving through the US, and being able to do that without the gentle stress of del🎶ivering a load of steel on time sounds fantastic.

Of course, SCS isn't abandoning the "truck" part of American Truck Simulator, as the studio has "assembled a dedicated team" to work specifically on the Road Trip project. But as much as I love rolling 18-wheelers across the US, I'm starting to think this migh🐻t actually be the game's u𝓀ltimate form.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Schedule 1 is all about the little things. Skating aimlessly at sunset, absent-mindedly jumping over curbs and down concrete stairs. Playing Pong and Snake on the TV of your seedy motel room. Getting up to draw the curtains of said motel room shut, stained fabric alleviating the constant paranoia that somebody will see what you're doing in there. You know – the little things.

Since launching in late March, Schedule 1 has quickly become Steam's 𓂃latest breakout darling. The indie drug-dealing simulator is the platform's fourth most-played game at time of writ✱ing, sitting comfortably above the likes of Monster Hunter Wilds and Marvel Rivals, with a whopping 122,500 players on a Tuesday morning. At first glance, it looks like a joke left to run its course – the sort of game you would expect to either watch a streamer play, or pick up yourself for a few hours of fun before never touching it again.

But it's not nearly as shallow as it seems. It's a committed exploration of the emergent routines that have made role-play in Garry's Mod and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 5 so popular – and in doing so, offers the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best simulator experience I've played in a long time.

Cooking up a storm

A character called Becca standing next to UV lights and marijuana in Schedule 1

Your first hours in Schedule 1 are spent in drifting, sleazy nothingness. After arriving in the city of Hyland Point, fresh from having your RV burned down 🧸by fellow pharmaceutical enthusiasts, you've got just enough cash to rent a motel room – only for a week, mind you – and supplies to grow a small amount of weed.

The 💦goal is to build your business from the gro🅠und-up. At first, this means growing and dealing for a small clientele, all while saving up to buy a grubby apartment above a nearby Chinese restaurant. From there you can grow your customer base, hire dealers to save you hot-footing around town, and get into significantly harder drugs. But Schedule 1 could be about anything – a plumbing sim, carpentry RPG, you name it – and it would still be fun, thanks to the way it frames near-ritualistic busywork within a limited timeframe each day.

Much of your day-to-day work in Schedule 1 offers the same tactile satisfaction as popping bubble wrap. Putting soil into a pot means cutting open the bag and physically turning it until soil actually pours out. Watering your plants works the same. Buds are harvested individually with single satisfy🌱ing snips, though you'll need to rotate each plant around to see them all. Packaging the produce means dragging and dropping nuggets into individual bags. Your trash builds up, and needs to be emptied into a bin bag before being hauled outside.

ꦦI don't condone the protagonist's career choices, but it's brilliantly engaging to the point where I could take or leave the narcotics angle. Yes, I'd happily put the same effort into running an above-board flower shop.

My favorite part of Schedule 1 has quickly become bumming around the city, guided by loose responsibilities but rarely in a real rush. I might have to cut across town to make a few deals – for which you can schedule a time by texting the customer – or nip out to buy more soil, but there's no pressure to conform to a grander pace. I'm playing with two friends, and a few days after moving out of the motel we all bought ourselves skateboards as a reward. The rest of that afternoon was spent cruising and attempting increasingly silly tricks, with lit﷽tle thought paid to our burgeoning business.

Schedule 1 turns living day-by-day into a joy – a feat that few games 🥀manage. A recent example is Kingdom Come: Deliveran🌞ce 2, but even that borders on being too exciting to fit neatly, as Henry's day-to-day involves frantic swordfights and horseback rides through gorgeous medieval scenery. Interestingly, Schedule 1's closest relatives are player-made. GTA RP, modded community servers for Grand Theft Auto 5 where the goal is to simply get by in Los Santos, is made of the same bones. So is Dark RP: a sandbox mode on Garry's Mod which lets you select a job and buy property, but otherwise leaves the burden of making it fun up to players.

Skating through the city of Hyland Point at sunset in Schedule 1

Of the 460 hours I've sunk into Garry's Mod, the vast majority of that has been in Dark. Some of those sessions were spent running for mayor, others spent running illegal money-print⛎ing operations from swanky penthouses. But, as in Schedule 1, the real meat of Dark RP belongs in the idling, of existing wit🤪hin a role and creating purpose. That's why my favorite part of Schedule 1 isn't the not-so glamorous sleaze of dealing, or even seeing hard work pay off with a bulging bank account.

Instead, the features which don't really need to be there are the ones I love most. It's the small additi🔜ons which make Schedule 1 feel lived-in. It's having to take out the trash each night. It's trying to get home before curfew, but going the long way to visit the hill I like skating down. It's opening the shutters at 7am and peering out at the city as it wakes up. Yo✱u know – the little things.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> I love cozy games. As someone pretty much chronically stressed out, they're great blood pressure regulators and I love the gentle pace of just wandering around, meeti𒅌ng weirdos, fishing, and cooking food. That said, as if I have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, there's a depraved,♛ cobwebbed part of my brain that's constantly aching for the macabre, and newly announced horror life sim RPG hybrid seems like it could scratch two very different itches at once.

The debut game from Coldblood Inc., a studio co-founded by Celeste pixel artist Pedro Medeiros, Neverway really does appear on the surface to be a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley-like with RPG elements and a thick coat of eldritch horror paint. Nothing appears terriblyಌ original, but I don't care, that's a genre smoothie I'll gladly slurp down any day of the week.

"After quitting her dead-end job, Fiona starts over on a farm and becomes the immortal herald of a dead god," reads the game's Steam summary, tickling every singleꦚ one of my fancies. "Make friends, fight through horrors and pay your debt in this nightmarish life sim RPG."

Judging from Neverway's reveal trailer, it seems you pretty much get what it says on the tin. After waking up from a nightmare, you arrive by boat to your new spooky farmstead and start chopping down trees, tending to crops, and fishing. Tired after a long day, you hit the hay and wake up in an even spookier farm that's crawling with cosmic horrors lo𓂃oking for blood.

We also see plenty of footage of wh♔at look to me like Zelda: A Link to the Pa𝓡st-inspired dungeons with, you guessed it, a horror twist. It sounds like the game divides these portions of the game into different times of day, with the player having the ability to advance from morning, afternoon, and evening as they please.

When it's not all dark and spoo🌌ky, you can just hang around, do some farming, make food, and decorate your place. Or, if you're smart, you'll craft items to prepare for the night and make friends with or date the colorful cast of moody characters inhabiting yo💃ur farmstead, as doing so unlocks combat abilities through friendship bonds.

With a proven indie dev at the helm and an original soundtrack by Hyper Light Drifter composer Disasterpeace, not to mention elements from many of my favorite games, I'm unabashedly hyped for Neverway, which is bittersweet because there's no release date or window to speak of. Reꦫgardless, this is one I'll be optimistically keeping on my radar.

Here are some more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie games coming this year and beyond.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> I've just met a dramatic washing machine in Date Everything that has the most incredibly rich voice. It's like velvet, and my heart is all aflutter as I listen to the sudsy fellow wax poetic about being "awash in the scurryings of life". I'd never thought about the plights of being a washing machine, but I've also never met one that looks like a handsome acrobat with long soapy tresses, and a well-toned physique. I can see his acrobatic fo𝔍rm thanks to a trusty pair of "Dateviator" glasses that a mysterious person had delivered right to my doorstep by a drone. Having just lost my job as a remote customer service rep thanks to AI, I have no obligations to tend to, so what better way to spend my time than putting these curious shades to the test and flirting with some furniture?

Almost every object I can see in the house is a possible "dateable" character I can bring to life with my specs - from a fireplace to a fridge, and everything in between. Something inexplicably draws me to the washing mach🌼ine early on, and that's how I meet and fall a little bit in love with Washford. I could listen to him talk all day, which is why I laugh out loud when a dialogue response lets me tell this dramatic washing machine he speaks so beautifully. It's clear that the Sassy Chap Games dev team are very much aware of the allure of his voice, and nothing could charm me more.

With just two hours to spend getting to know various household items in Date Everything, I'm already completely smitten wiꦅth the dating sim. Not only is it packed with captivating personalities – and a healthy helping of humor and innuendo (that constantly has me giggling and blushing in equal measure) – but it's also got a lot of heart. You may be speaking to appliances and furnishings in your home, but all of their themes are very human. I'm already keen to explore the characters' stories further and see who else I'll meet when the June 17 release rolls around.

Looking for love

Sassy Chap🦋 Games🔥' adventure may be called Date Everything, and the characters you meet may be known as "dateables", but you don't actually have to form romantic relationships if you don't want to. There are three possible relationship statues you can achieve with each character as you get to know them: Love, Friendship, and Hate. Any time you develop a bond with a character and achieve a new status, you'll earn yourself specific S.P.E.C.S points. These increase either your level of empathy, charm, sass, smarts, or poise (a little bit like the Persona 5 social stats), which can unlock unique responses.

I have no idea who sent the Dateviators to me or why they chose me (since I only have some anonymous messages from the person in question on my phone to go by), but the specs themselves come to life in the form of a pink-haired cutie c💮alled Skylar who gives me the lowdown on how they work, and what I can do with them. When I activate the glasses by putting them on with the TAB key, almost every object in the home is highlightable, which tells me they can be brought to life and engaged with. You can only speak to each object once per day, and you only have a set number of times you can use your Dateviators before you have to go to bed.

With so many potential paramours to meet and find in my home, I feel like Cupid in a Valentine's store. I hardly ཧknow where to begin, but thankfully there's a helpful gumshoe magnifying glass by the name of Maggie, who gives me some tips and introduces me to "Roomers" - which are essentially hints that help you find more dateables in the house.

With some clues at hand, I end up finding a vacuum cleaner tucked away in a cupbo🌺ard, and after I put on my shades, I shoot out love hearts that transform the red dust buster into a rather dashing fellow called Henry Hoove. With all of the vacuum attachments decorating his belt, and one very dreamy smile, it's not long before I'm kicking my feet at h💖is flirtatious puns and undeniable charm.

Getting to know you

Date Everything screenshot of Henry Hoove

Every character is beautifully brought to life in theme with the object they represent, and every single one of them has a unique personality and story to tell. Henry, for example, is very friendly, but he also seems to be married to his gig as the resident dirt defeater, and I quickly get the sense that there's more to him than meets the cheery eye. When he invites me to speak to him again the next day, I already feel compelled to just so I can learn more about him (and appreciate mꦜore of his puns).

In fact, I get a similar feeling about almost every character I interact with during my two hour stint in Date Everything, because each and every one has something going on, with a story thre🦹ad to pursue. The dreamboat washing machine Washford I met in the beginning, for example, is clearly still hung up on his ex (the dryer played by Astarion actor Neil Newbon), while a toilet known as Jean Loo I speak to towards the end of m♑y session has his own creative rapper dreams that he pulls me into.

I never know who I'll meet or what they'll hit me with next, but that's what makes Date Everything so darn entertaining. The diverse cast all have something to offer, and that they're 🦂brought to life by voice acting talentಞ that's stacked to the rafters only makes them feel more fully realized.

Date Everything screenshot of The Hanks

I just know I'm goi🤡nಌg to fall in love with this dating sim

Sometimes t🐷he dateables will also be dealing with some difficulties, such as particular mental health issues, and their stories can explore some darker themes. But any time you encounter someone who may present you with a sensitive subject, you'll get a content aware warning which allows you to skip it if you don't want to engage. While Date Everything is wonderfully lighthearted at times, and outright playful with its humorous take on the dating sim genre, it can aಌlso get real on occasion, and the content aware feature is an important touch I really appreciate seeing.

With so many characters to meet and the different ways to bond, I'v🍸e barely scratched the surface of the many dateables in Date Everything. I spent most of my time bringing to life as many objects as I could, from a brash troupe of himbo coat hangers all called Hank, to a food-loving fridge by the name of Freddy Yeti who I bonded with over pizza. But there is so much more to this house that I've yet to explore, and this short tease has only left me wanting more. I just know I'm going to fall in love with this dating sim, and I can hardly wait for its June 17 release. For now, I'll keep on dreaming of reuniting with the velvety-voiced washing machine every time I empty out my clothes basket.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> After 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:launching into Early Access on Steam last month, viral indie game Schedule 1 faced a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:copyright investigation due to similarities with Drug Dealer Simulator – but the latter title's publisher wants to make one thing clear following b♌acklash: there is no lꩵawsuit.

Speaking in a recent post on , publisher Movie Games confirms as much, clarifying t꧒he situation amid rumors of a supposed lawsuit against Schedule 1 developer TVGS.

"There is no lawsuit," reads the an꧃nouncement. "It is not our intention to 𒁏prevent TVGS from selling or developing their game." While a lawsuit hasn't been filed as of yet, there is indeed still a copyright investigation into similarities "between the games" underway.

As Movie Games writes, "There is an investiga🏅tion into the nature of similarities between the games since a preliminary legal analysis indicated there might have been an infringement." According to the publisher, it was "necessary" to investigate: "The analysis and investigation were necessary in the light of repeating opinions that the games are very similar."

If it wasn't investigated, Movܫie Games "could face severe consequences for negligence."

The publisher continues, explaining how the entire situation unfolded and how rumors of a lawsuit took off soon after online. "The above was communicated only via ESPI, a stock market communication system, where we are obligated to publish such information for full transparency. Not publishing it would also be ✱a case of negligence. From there, it was picked up by the media and, in some cases, wrongly reported as a lawsuit."

Movie Games also clarifies that Drug Dealer Simulator's developers haven't been involve⛎d. "The above is handled only by Movie Games, the publisher, not Byterunners, the developer of Drug Dealer Simulator. Th⛎e developer is not involved in it whatsoever."

There's no telling whether this new statement will curb the review bombing, but as of now, Schedule 1 sits with an "Overwhelmingly Posit♍ive" rating while Drug Dealer Simul🅷ator has an "Overwhelmingly Negative" one.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> The creator behind the massive 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley mod merging ConcernedApe's farming sim with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 has released a brand🅘-new update, finally allowing Astarion stans to marry the vampire elf of their dreams.

Baldur's Village, as the mod is aptly dubbed on , acts as a fan-created expansion, bringing a bit of the Baldur's Gate 3 world and its quirky inhabitants to Stardew Valley. The mastermind behind the mod, Xun, has had quite a journey since its release, as it caught the attention and approval of Larian Studios lead Swen Vincke, faced a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:DMCA takedown from Wizards of the Coast, and was reinstated following an apology from the D&D publisher.

Since then, Xun shared that work on the mod would 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"resume as scheduled" – and boy, has it. A recent from the creator showcases the latest Baldur's Village update, bringing the mod to version 1.6.2 with Astarion's previously teased 10-heart event and accompanying wedding reactions from some of the fellow 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 companions present. Other minor fixes to character dialogue and various visuals a🔥re also present withi🐬n the new version.

The mod update is especially exciting to see after the DMCA debacle last week, and there's still more to come from Xun, too. As they wrote in a past Q&A on their , more Baldur's Gate 3 characters are planned for Baldur's Village, with marriage candidates aside from Astarion in the works as requested "based on feedback and crowdfunding" – and perhaps even Minthara, Jaheria, and Minsc, as their exclusion apparently "isn't set in stone" either.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> After 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:launching into Early Access on Steam last month and going viral nearly instantly with thousands of stellar reviews following, Schedule 1 is gearing up for one of its biggest updates y൲et with a beta branch release.

While Schedule 1's success hasn't all been smooth sailing, especially considering the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:recent alleged copyright investigation opened by Drug Dealer Simulator's own developers, it's undeniably been an impressive one. The indie game is smashing left and right, standing as the fourth most active title on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Valve's platform currently and even beating out the likes of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Monster Hunter Wilds, Rust, and the ever-popular Wallpaper Engine.

With nearly 80,000 reviews, Schedule 1 isn't showing signs of slowing down any time soon, and its latest update makes it all the more enticing. Available via the game's beta branch on Steam, version 0.3.4 sees the addition of various decorative items and two shops – with other features yet to come "in the full release." The Bleuballs Boutique and Pawn Shop are perhaps the most major highlights, adding new items to purchase and sell🍌.

In The Bleuballs Boutique, players can buy all sorts of golden goodies to show off their not-so-legitimately earned we๊alth, including everything from shiny gold toilets to solid gold bars and fancy jewelry. The Pawn Shop, on the other hand, allows fans to sell "pretty much anything," excluding drugs, for money – which means I can finaꦡlly get rid of that random lamp I stole from the motel room and brought to the barn for no good reason.

While no solid release date has been announced just yet for the full release of version 0.3.4, the beta branch is accessible to all players for free. As the beta "doesn't quite contain 100% of the features coming," developer TVGS urges fans to "discuss and report issues" so that they can iron out any problems ahead of the update's official launch. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some plants to tend to and some gold chains to go buy.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Schedule 1 debuted in March and has quickly come to be one of Steam's bigg🌃est indie success stories, with a co-op, open-world simulation of the drug-dealing life that's really caught on with players. It appears the Polish publisher behind Drug Dealer Simulator is none-too-happy with that success, and repꦇorts have begun to circulate that the company is investigating Schedule 1 for copyright infringement – which, of course, haᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs now sparked a massive review bomb against those older games.

An from Movie Games S.A., which publishes Drug Dealer Simulator, went up on the Polish Press Agency's business and economics site🍷 last week, as spotted by . Via machine translation, the press release says a legal consultant has advised the 🌃company that Schedule 1 may mark a "potential infringement" of the Drug Dealer Simulator intellectual property.

No specific legal action against Schedule 1 has been detailed, but Movie Games ꦆSA says it's looking for further instances of infringement, and "decided to use the support of international law firms specialising in Australian law – which is the ♉law applicable to the producer and publisher of Schedule 1."

It's worth noting that this press release doesn't appear to have gone live anywhere else,🍸 and Movie Games S.A. has not made a statement on it, so you might want to take its existence with at least a half-grain of salt. We've reached out to Movie Games S.A. for more information and will provide an update if we learn more.

That "producer and publisher" of Schedule 1 is a solo dev who simply goes by Tyler online, and the idea of a company like Movie Games S.A. making even the vaguest threat of legal action against the lone developer behind a far more popular game has rubbed a lot of players the wrong way. Drug Dealer Simulator and its sequ✨el have each been hit with around 1,000 😼negative reviews in the past few days, many of which cite the situation with Schedule 1.

"Lmao suing a lone indie dev for making a superior game is laughable," as puts it. "Like, instead of trying to actually improve your game, your first reaction was to bust out the lawyers. Pathetic. Absolutely embarrassing. You saw som🦩eone doing your job better than you ever could SOLO, with NO BUDGET, NO MARKETING TEAM, NO SAFETY NET and your fragile l꧂ittle ego just couldn’t take it."

"I liked the game up until they became greedy and jealous that a solo game developer, who created a game 10 times greater than theirs is so successful," a reads. "I have a lot 🍷of respect for the person who is currently working on updating Schedule 1. If anyone is reading this thinking of buying DDS1, trust me buy Schedule 1 instead."

Drug Dealer Simulator had previously been quite well regarded, with nearly 20,000 reviews giving it an 87% positive rating ac🌳cording to a . It sequel f🧸ared less well, but now both games are showing from mostly to overwhelmingly negative in their recent reviews. We'll see what comes of the apparent investigation into Schedule 1, but clearly this saga hasn't endeared Movie Games S.A. to many.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> One of the most popular recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Stardew Valley to hit Steam is now finally leaving Early Access afte🃏r two years, its full release accompanied by a massive update.

Dinkum first launched into Early Access in July 2022, marking almost three y👍ears since its initial foray onto . Since then, it's managed to rack up nearly 20,000 reviews and a stellar "Very Positive" rating, proving the booming market for Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley-esque life sims continues to thrive. A variety of updates have also come from solo developer James Bendon along the road to this month's fꦛull release, too.

One of the biggest, however, looks like it's set to drop alongside 1.0 on April 23, featuring an overhaul to the game's multiplayer system, new airborne vehicles, crafting recipes, and more. Most excitin🎃g of all, though, is the fact that other patches are underway following Dinkum's full release as Bendon reveals he's "only getting started" with 1.0. Further details are yet to come, but patch notes should unveil more "as we draw closer" to the launch.

As a longtime genre stan and dedicated Dinkum player myself, I personally can't wait and would recommend the game to anyone keen on cozier titles – especially as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons isn't receiving anymore updates and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo hasn't announced a new entry. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Just one week has passed since 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PUBG developer Krafton saw the Early Access release of its new Sims-like game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:inZOI on Steam, and it's alre🍬ady surpas♛sed a million sales.

There's always room for more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like The Sims 4, it seems, and inZOI is proving just that w🧸ith its ever-growing popularity. The hyper-realistic life sim has now reached a major milestone, as celebrated by developers in a recent online , hitting a whopping one million sales after only a week of being available via Steam Early Access. As Krafton writes, thanking fans for their support, "It's a number that still feels 𒁏unreal to us."

The studio promises to "continue working hard" on inZOI, with CEO Kim Chang-han stating🀅 that developers will "actively communicate with players and foster inZOI as Krafton's long-term franchise IP" from here on out. The team also has future updates in store, with new content, including mod support and cities, as well as free DLC planned to drop between n💎ow and the game's full release whenever it leaves Early Access.

Feedback is looking solid so far, too, with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"Very Positive" rating overall and over 13,000 reviews describing the new game as both a strong 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Sims 4 competitor and a good Early Access title on its own. "If you love the life simulation genre but have 🉐felt frustrated with The Sims 4's endless DLC model and limitations," reads one of the recent positive reviews on , "inZOI is absolutely worth checking out."

While inZOI is only currently available to PC players using Steam, Krafton plans to launch the life sim on both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S following the Early Access period, too. The game is priced at $39.99 as of now, but that number is li🍷kely to go up upon inZOI's full release. Until then, however, all updates, including any DLC, will come to the base game entirely for free.

After catching the attention and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:approval of Larian lead Swen Vincke, the mod was removed due to a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:DMCA takedown from Wizards of the Coast. Fans and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Vincke himself defended the mod then, before the D&D publisher apologized for "mistakenly" issuing the takedown.

Creator Xun stayed relatively quiet through the debacle – until now, that is. With the big mod back up and running, they꧂'ve posted an official with a "full explanation" regarding the initial takedown and future plans. "Last week, due to copyright issues, the Baldur's Village mod was temporarily taken down from Nexus," it reads. Now that everything has been "thoroughly clarified and resolved," though, X𓃲un takes time to thank Larian Studios, the Nexus Mods team, and Wi🧸zards of the Coast as they "recognize that protecting intellectual property is a complex and serious responsibility." There's a lot more in store for Baldur's Village, too. "On the very day we received the takedown notice, we had just finalized Astarion's Ten-heart event, which was scheduled for the next update."

Xun continues, explaining how the DMCA left them "disheartened as we thought that this content might never reach the community" – but work will continue as before with updates for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 companions and more. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> As PUBG developer Krafton continues down the early access path for its hyper-realistic new Sims-like gem inZOI, one prolific Sims 4 modder ha🦄s stepped up to bring their most famous creation to the game – WickedWhims.

"It's happening," celebrates the creator, dropping a link to WickedWhims for inZOI. "Check out the first release of WickedWhims f🌼or inZOI, available now for free!"

"Experience sex animations from a steadily growing number of creators." And, of course, it's all "fully controllable."

It certainly didn't take long – after all, inZOI only released a few days ago. As a Sims fan and life sim frequenter in general myself, though, I'm not surprised. Assistant director Joel Lee confirmed in a past Q&A about inZOI, the new game 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:only "sort of" features sex, and players "have to assume that's what's happening" rather than seeing any explicit acti⛦vity, muc🐈h like how the "WooHoo" action and others work in The Sims 4.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Nintendo's Japanese Twitter account's post about the upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tomodachi Life sequel was a big deal, and it turns out it was more popular with fans than the announcement of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Last week's Nintendo Direct was a bit of an unconventional one, seeing as it is the last one solely dedicated to the original 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch before we get the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 Direct later this week. While we did see a couple of heavy hitters with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Legends: Z-A, it was mostly dedicated to weird stuff. Announcements like PlayStation's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Japan Stu🅰dio are games being revived by Bandai Namco, the show-ending bombshell that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo has a new app, and the most important announcement – a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new Rhythm Heaven game is coming (ahem, let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO).

However, Rhythm Heaven wasn't the only MIA franchise to get a surprise revival after years of fan requests. The 2014 Nintendo 3DS oddball Tomodachi Life is finally getting a sequel in the form of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream. Extremely good timing, as the original over the last few years since the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:3DS eShop was discontinued. While Nintendo did treat the game as a big deal, giving it the final game spot (the app was more important though), fans in Japan are seeing it as an even bigger deal than the Nintendo Switch 2.

As spotted by YouTuber (), Nintendo's Japanese Twitter post about Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream's announcement has been liked over 400,000 times. Which is wild enough on its own, but when you consider that the same account's announcement of the Nintend🌠o Switch 2 only has 385,000 likes, it really puts into perspective just how long people have been waiting on this weirdo series to return.

While the West only ever received 2014's Tomodachi Life, the series actually debuted in Japan with 2009's Tomodachi Collection. The series grew a🌃 massive following online with the 3DS entries as players started posting all the wild things that were happening to their Miis. One particularly loved feature is the text-to-speech dialogue for Mii characters. This is at its best in the musical mode, allowing for beautiful performances like this and a litany of NSFW Mii songs across the 🌞years.

To be fair to Nintendo, the Nintendo Today app did reveal the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Legend of Zelda movie release date, and an actor from Final Fantasy 7 Remake is desperate to be a part of it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> InZOI developer Krafton has patched out a bug that 🧔previously let you run over and kill people, including childr𓄧en, with your car.

As reported by ,🅘 inZOI players were surprised to find that you could commit such unspeakabl(y fun) acts in a game with a Teen ESRB rating, and especially one that makes no mention of being able to run over kids with your car. The ESRB rating's description does make mention of death by "traffic accidents," but there is no mention of vehicular assault o🐷n children with the result being said children being yeeted into oblivion with ragdoll physics.

Nevert𓄧heless, you can see exactly that happening in this probably shared to Reddit with the title: "I don't think that Krafton realizes that you can run over children i𒉰n inZOI."

Although , the developers behind the game didn't agree🐭. In a statement to IGN, a Krafton spokesperson said "this issue was caused by an unintended bug that has been resolved in the latest patch" and "these depictions are highly in𝔍appropriate and do not reflect the intent and values of inZOI.

"We understand the seriousness of this matter a🎀nd age-appropriate content and we are strengthening our inter🌃nal review processes to prevent similar incidents in the future," Krafton said.

The studio's life sim game launched this week to from critics generally, with our own currently unscored writeup calling it "a soulless imitation of the worst parts of The Sims." Worse yet, you can no lonꦯger play Ro♛cket League with kids as the ball.

As Krafton irons out the InZoi bugs, devs "recommend avoiding repeated remarriage and, if necessary, proceeding only when there are no children involved."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:InZoi has just released in early acce🍷ss, so there are some bugs, but one is so bad that the developers actually recommend not remarrying too many times, as it may make your family 𓃲members disappear.

If you want to make a flirty Zoi🥀 who marries, steals all their spouse's money and assets, divorces them, and then repeats the cycle, you may end up losing more than just a relationship. According to a post on the , "When a single Zoi remarries multiple times, some family members may disappear."

The solution is to simply avoid remarrying for now, so you'd better be sure of whoever it is you propose to before you do it, at least for now. Strangely, the dev team adds that you can still remarry if you must, but "only when there are no children involved." I don't know if this is because children make the 🤡bug more likely or because the bug can get rid of them and break other things in the game, but it's an interesting note.

Another relationship-related issue is that "Same-sex relationships are not possible with other Zois in the city." This is listed under the "known issues" section of the site, so the devs are likely worki﷽ng on a fix so that you can pursue queer relationships t🦋o your heart's content.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> As soon as a pixelated scene of a green-haired girl riding a broom came into focus during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Direct March 2025 showcase, I audibly gasped. I instantly recognized the style of the "spellingbinding adventure" on screen, and shouted "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Witchbrook" before the title even entered the picture.

As a longtime fan of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Stardew Valley and the life sim genre in general, I've been following Chucklefish's upcoming magic school RPG for years, and I could hardly believe I was finally seeing it in action. Originally teased all the way back in 2016, Witchbrook was first officially announced the following year, and has been in development ever since.

The last major update on the project came in 2019, but we've not seen so much as a wand or pointy hat from Chucklefish over the last five years. I've never stopped hoping for it to make a big comeback, though, and the latest Nintendo Direct at last answered my p🎃rayers. With our first proper glimpse at some Witchbrook gameplay, it looks every bit like it's going to be well worth the wait. From snippets of magic less♈ons, to shots of witches socializing, and even sharing a cup of coffee at a cafe, everything I've seen and read about what awaits ꦓus in the setting of Mossport has reignited my excitement all over again. In fact, I'd go as far as to say there's never been a new life sim that's called my name quite so ardently.

Hocus pocus

Witchbrook screenshot of students gathering near a cauldron as the teacher talks about a potion

Witchbrook is far from the first witchy life sim that's cast a spell over me. Wylde Flowers from developer Studio Drydock is one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best farming games around thanks to the way it delivers a magical, story-driven twist on the classic farming life sim formula. But Chuckelish's new adventure looks like an idyllic blend of spellbinding academia meets 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley, and there's so much it promises to do that speaks directly to my tastes as an avid player of the༺ genre.

For starters, who hasn't fantasized about attending magic school and becoming a member of a witch coven? That's right, we'll get to enroll in Witchbrook college, where there are different lessons to attend. As much as I didn't enjoy school in real life, I've always loved recreating the experience in life sims and RPGs. From dividing up my day with classes to develop my skills in the same vein as Persona and Rockstar's Bully, to capturing the minutiae of the awkward teen years in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Sims 4's Highschool expansion, I can't wait to get stuck into some ▨magical academic pursuits in Mossport. We'll be able to learn the ropes of potion brewing, performing rituals, and even divining from the stars as we set out to master the arts of Witchhood.

Better still, it all takes place in a delightfully cozy-looking seaside city, which is home to a variety of businesses to visit, areas to discover, and most importantly, residents to get to know and bond with. Not unlike Stardew Valley, all of the characters you meet run on their own schedule, from your teachers to your coven and everyone in between. You might, say, meet someone down the pub, or get to know a local shop owner. With friendships to form, you can even develop romantic relationships with residents – if you so wish. Romance is an immediate draw for me. With the chance to go on dates (including cute little picnics), I adore when life sim🍒s give me the option to bo💯nd with the people I meet in this way. I can't wait to see who I might fall in love with.

If that wasn't enough, we can also customize our experience in a variety of ways, from tailoring our own clothes, hair, and accessories, to decorating our very own cottage. If you really want to sell me on anything, offering up a cottage that I can make my own will absolutely do it. As a life sim, you can also expect to tuck into a variety of activities, from shopping at boutiques, playing at arcades, dining 🐼at the local eateries, and growing your own garden. You can even start up your own business to sell any resources you acquire outside of your studies. As an experience that's designed to be equal parts engaging and relaxing, Mossport is said to be "full of ways to unwind and express yourself". Sign me up, right now.

If you're anything like me, you should get excited, too. Witchbrook sounds like it's going to deliver just the kind of magical RPG I've been waiting for, with plenty of life sim ingredients in its cauldron that speak to me. I can't wait to discover what it brews up, and with a winter launch window, it's flying right to the top of my wishlist of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games for 2025. I'm so 🎉ready to get on my broom and soa𒐪r into Mossport.

Look ahead to more exciting releases on the way with our roundup of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch games, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Xbox Series X games, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming PC games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> At long last, silly life sim 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tomodachi Life is finally getting a sequel on⭕ Nintendo Switch with To𒉰modachi Life: Living the Dream, ending what's been, for some, a 12-year drought without a new entry in the series.

Tomodachi Life is not only one of the strangest games on the 3DS, but also one of the best. While it first hit Japan in 2013 as a sequel to the Japan-only DS game, Tomodachi Collection, it arrived 🗹overseas a year later, allowing fans to fill an island with their own Miis – complete with customizable personalities and voices – and watch their relationships flourish (or go up in flames), figure out their likes and dislikes, and take parts in things like events. You can make Miis perform custom songs in the concert hall, peer into their weird dreams, or give them food so tasty they blast into space.

It's deeply, delightfully bizarre, and there's a reason why people have been wanting a new one for so long – nothing beats the drama of watching a fictional character's Mii fall in love with one of your real life friends. The reactions have been legendary – from those whose sequel summoning circles finally worked, to those genuinely screaming at the 💖trai✨ler.

One of the most exciting parts of the sequel is the fact that it gives Nintendo an opportunity 🌳to fulfill an old promise. Despite romance being such a big part of the 3DS game, there was a crucial problem – Miis couldn't enter queer relationships.

Following backlash at the time, Nintendo issued an apo🍎logy () for "disappointing many people by failing to include same-sex relati🍸onships," stating that it couldn't make "such a significant development change" to fix this in a post-launch patch. However, it added: "We pledge that if we create a next installment in the Tomodachi series, we will strive to design a game-play experience from the ground up that is more inclusive, and better represents all players."

Over a decade on, you'd certainly hope that this is one of tౠhe improvements coming to Living the Dream. In fact, while the trailer doesn't outright confirm it, some are already speculating that we were given a hint right at the end. After the 2026 release window is confirmed, the screen fades to black, and we're greeted by a scene of a female Mii having a strange dream about a giant Mii woman who asks her if she wants to talk. She wakes up, shocked, while the real Mii walks behind her, smiling in her direction. Immediately, fans took to Twitter : "NINTENDO ARE THEY GAY???? DO WE FINALLY HAVE GAY PEOPLE IN TOMODACHI LIFE?????"

Again, this specific scene might not be the ultimate proof, although if it really is a hint, then it's rather amusing that it was included almost like a 'one more thing' announcement – as , "t𝕴easing gay romance options like i🦄t's a Smash character."

It'd be worthy of the fanfare, of course – many players have been waiting over a decade for the option, and in a game that, for many, centers around your alternate life as a Mii, it sucked that not everyone could properly live as themselves. It's right at 🦩the top of my list of wishes for the sequel – so here's hoping that Nintendo sticks to its word with its commitment for better representation this time.

Be sure to check out our roundup of everything announced during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct to see what other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games are on the horizon.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Pitting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Sims 4 against inZOI is a bit of an unfair fight. As an Early Access game, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that Krafton's life sim isn't quite on par with EA's just yet. Having played about three hours of inZOI, though, there's a lot about the new game that shows immense potential. It's already far more customizable than The Sims 4's base g𝓰ame was at launch, and the realistic graphics do lend it a very different aesthetic compared to the cartoonish quirk that makes Sims 4 so identifiable. Like many other things, that sense of identity is one area that inZOI is still carving out – but that's not to say it's all bad.

When comparing Sims 4 vs inZOI, there are some interesting differences I've noticed between them. If you're on the fence about whether inZOI is right for you, I'm going to try and break down how each game implements five aspects of life sim gameplay that separate the goods from the greats so you can make the decision꧅ for yourself.

Character creator

InZOI create-a-zoi screenshot showing the character creator and a selection of headwear

Perhaps the strongest aspect of inZOI right now is its impressive set of character customization tools. While the minimalist UI lacks much character itself – the text is far too small and there's far too much of it at the moment – it's got the true makings of something special. The hairstyles are almost all fantastic, and it's near impossible to make a Zoi ugly thanks to the plethora of physical attributes on offer. The clothing styles, compared to The Sims', are far more in line wit🌳h modern fashion trends you might find on 💫any Gen Z teenager or the sartorially savvy streets of Seoul, with the fabric and color of each item completely customizable.

The elevated sense of fashion means that "randomized Sim energy" is totally absent from inZOI, and therein lies my only gripe: the outfits and styles are almost too realistic in how well everything goes together. What do you mean there are no eggplant costumes? Sure, I don't expect inZOI to have the same sense of humor as The Sims, but the clean, hyperrealistic aesthetic lacks any distinctive charm and risks taking itself too seriously. Plus, as mentioned in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:inZOI review, the game struggles to hit the mark when it comes to making a Zoi thℱat's neither pretty nor thin – which is something the developer will be lookiꦫng into.

Build mode

InZOI build tool showing house construction elements and a variety of windows

Sandbox creativity is the bread and butter of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best simulator games, meaning it's a key thing to consider when comparing Sims 4 and inZOI. Whiꦛle the former's Build Mode is more intuitive to me as a lifelong Simmer, I have to hand it to Krafton: inZOI's ain't half bad. Choosing an empty lot to build on can be done from a city's menu, and if you decide you actually c൩an't be bothered to build your own home after loading into the lot, there are pre-made houses to place instead.

I ended up doing precisely that, reaping the benefits of a sophisticated pad in the process. Again, think solid earthy tones and a tidy, eerily minimalist aesthetic. It's not that I don't like inZOI's building tools – on the contrary, building seems just as effortless in both games, thanks to the Shift key's multi-placement magic – but I'm more of a storyteller than a builder in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like The Sims. The tools on offer in inZOI are dense enough for even the most ambitious of builds, though it doesn't seem possible to t๊otally re-make your city from scra🔥tch by bulldozing lots completely as you can in The Sims 4. Not yet, anyway.

Open world

InZOI screenshot showing a Zoi walking through a city to a cafe

One thing we all miss from The Sims 3 is something inZOI gets absolutely spot on. No matter which of the three available cities you choose to start off in, your Zois can go for a loading screen-free stroll around the whole place. The slow walking speed and lack of teleportation is a bit of an impetus killer, though exploring the Korean-inspired city of Dowon on foot is really the only way to do it. Here is where you get to see small inflections of personality emerge. A Zoi might stumble while walking before bending down to tug at their shoes in annoyance, while others can be seen calling friends on the phone and gesticulating with their hands wildly. Your Zoi will also obey traffic laws – no jaywalking allowed here, sorry, not that I tr⭕ied to test the theory by running into a moving vehicle…

It's a curious thing that in a world so geared toward hyperrealism, inZOI ends up leaving no room for realistic imperfection. This reveals another key Sims 4 vs inZOI difference: that the world of the Zoi is far more orderly than a Sim's. With stricter rules applied to environment and brittle character autonomy, a day in the life of inZOI features none of the chaos you'd expect from your average wayward Strangervillager. Instead, Krafton's life sim targets a far more cozy-kawaii vibe. Expect fluffy cat-themed everything, right down to the Zoi currency of the Meow. Again, this speaks to just one of the many differences between the two games. If The Sims 4 is about being as over-the-top as possible, inZOI wants to do th⛎e opposite in its sanitized vision of a digital utopia that positions everything as cute, pretty, and Instagrammably perfect. Pick your poison.

Storytelling systems

Screenshot from inZOI showing two characters talking.

Oh, inZOI, I know you're doing your best as an Early Access game, but I've already run into multiple bizarre issues with the narrative systems at play. It makes sense that they won't always overlap perfectly, and heaven knows The Sims 4 is no stranger to bugs itself, but why have my unemployed Zoi ꦚroommates just celebrated becoming colleagues?

It also seems way harder to forge anything but a friendly relationship with others in inZOI. One of my Zois has the Charmer trait, which I thought would help her succeed in her romantic endeavors, but she is unable to get more than a handshake out of her supposed best friend. I even sent her out on the street to yell at a man for no reason, and all he did was apologize to me. No matter, I thought, before heading on a long trek to the coin karaoke place a few blocks away – but as soon as I tried to greet the desk clerk rudely, he walked me into a cubicle for a sit down heart-to-heart. It seemed far more intimate than any interaction so far, made all thﷺe more quizzical for the cutesy thumb-and-forefinger heart symbols both Zoi kept throwing up for one another.

This default politeness might be down to cultural differences, with inZOI being designed by a Korean developer versus the largely Western-centric nature of The Sims 4's ethos. Compared against each other, though, inZOI is not exactly the narrative sandbox I was hoping for. It has the bits and pieces it needs to at least let us tell some semblance of a story, but until its systems can fa📖cilitate some more dramatic narrative potential, inZOI plays like more of an interactive Stepford town than a thriving digital playgrou✃nd. Thankfully, there's still time to fix this in Early Access. Life isn't all about niceties and perfectionism, and a good life sim uses that to its advantage.

Replayability

A queue of Zois holding plates of rotting food in InZOI

Without contest, The Sims 4 is still more replayable than inZOI when compared head-to-head. EA's life sim has years on Krafto🅘n's, with too many expansions under its belt to make any comparison a fair one when it comes to sheer volume of content in one over the other.

I can't see myself investing too heavily in inZOI at the moment, as even though it does have strong bones and a beautiful aesthetic, the overall life sim experience is altogether still hollow and rather broken. There's plenty of time for the developer to start playing catchup in Early Access to at least smooth out the storytelling systems, and if all goes well, who knows? Maybe inZOI really will give the king of the genre a run for its life sim money. Just please don't let the cur✤rency be called "meow" again, guys; there's only so much cat-them𒈔ed kitsch I can handle.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> The early-access release of Sims competitor 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:inZOI is finally here, and while not all of its critic reviews were full of glowing praise, it certainly appears to be a hit so far on 🉐S๊team.

At the time of writin𓆏g, inZOI has accumulated over 2,300 reviews on Steam, 86% of which are positive. Overall, that makes for a "Very Positive" rating, with players and the fact that it's a – even if you love The Sims 4, you can't deny that the cost of its DLC really aꦇdds up. Others have also been sharing the highlights of their Zois' lives so far.

"I met a girl in the park. We joked, we hugged, we were engaged within an hour of our first date and then I got a text while I was asleep informing me that 🧔she died. 10/10 no notes," . "Met a girl, she was cute, we became interested in each other, and even kissed on the first meet. Got a text the next day letting me know the owner of that phone has passed away. I'll never see her again. I love this game," . There's, uh, a bit of a theme here.

To say that it's midday on a weekday, inZOI is also doing really well💞 when it comes to its concurrent player count. It accumulated 60,726 players a couple of hours after launch , but it's just hit a new peak of 66,858 simultaneous players. Wh🍨ile it hasn't reached the same heights as The Sims 4, which reached on Steam when it went free-to-play in 2022, we can almost certainly expect inZOI's peak to rise over the weekend as more people get the chance to play.

Its popularity hasn't come as a surprise – after all, it previously dethroned Hollow Knight: Silksong to become the most wishlisted game on Steam. The simulation game's director knows that inZOI has a long way to go before it can truly rival its biggest competitor in The Sims, though – Hyungjun 'Kjun' Kim previously told that "The Sims is an incredible game, and I don't thi🦂nk inZOI is anywhere near comparable – at least not yet."

Being an ea♒rly-access game, this is just the start for inZOI – we'll have to stay tuned to see where it goes from here.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Witchbrook is a new life sim from Wargroove and Eastward publisher Chucklefish that will to let us live out our magical dreams as an up-and-coming witch. With the chance to enroll in Witchbrook College where we'll learn spells, brew potions, and much more, we at last got a proper look at the adventure, and it's already shaping up to be one of the most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games for 2025.

The witchy RPG has been in the works for quite some time, but the last major update we had on the project came all the way back in 2019. With a surprise comeback trailer during the March Nintendo Direct showcase, we finally got to see the game in action, with it also popping up during the Switch 2 Direct in April - which confirmed it will also be landing as one of the many 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games we can expect to see later this year.

Set in the charming pixelated seaside city of Mossport, the Witchbrook gameplay we've seen so far has shown off lots of features that will no doubt speak to fans of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley. With pastimes that can be found in many of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best farming games around, you can get to know the locales, grow your own garden, and even run your own business (to name a few of the activities you can get up to). For moꦓre on all it promises to bring us, read on below to find a full recap of everything we know so far about Witchbrook.

Witchbrook release date speculation

The Witchbrook release date is currently set for Winter 2025. This launch window was announced during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Direct March 2025 showcase, which ended on the exciting news that we'll at last beꦇ able to get our hands 💎on the adventure later this year.

While we don't yet have a concrete release date, havi🔯ng a launch window is huge news for fans who've been waiting it out for this one. Here's hoping we get a further update on when exactly it will be released this winওter.

Witchbrook platforms

The Witchbrook platforms have been confirmed alongside the 2025 release window, with the RPG set to come to PC, Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.

While it's set to be among the lineup of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch games, the new-gen Switch 2, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Xbox Series X games, other platforms are still "TBD" according to the . That means that it's not yet certain if it will also be coming to PS5 just yet, but that's not to say it won't ever be joining the lineup of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming PS5 games in the future. We'll be k෴eeping our eyes peeled for any updates.

Witchbrook trailer

The Witchbrook trailer which debuted during the Nintendo Direct showcas🌳e in March 2025 gave us our very first proper look at the adventure in action. In it, we're shown bite-sized snippets of life in the city of Mossport as an up-and-coming witch who attends different magical classes.

We also see glimpses of exciting features in motion, such as the ability to customize our homes in a similar vein to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Sims 4 - with footage showing rotatable furniture.

Witchbrook gameplay

Witchbrook screenshot of a ritual taking place where people stand around a luminous carving on the ground

With our first look at Witchbrook's gamᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚeplay, there are a lot of magical features and extracurricular activities to get up to that will undoubtedly speak to fans of the best sim games. In the seaside city of Mossport, we'll be taking on the role of an aspiring witch who enrolls in Witchbrook College.

The seasons will change as you progress through the academic year, where you'll develop your magical abilities by completing assignments, attending d🧜ifferent classes, and gaining more knowledge in various areas. From brewing potions to taking part in rituals, you can even look to stars t♏o "see what the future holds". How curious.

Outside of your academic pursuits, you can also spend your time customizing your very own cozy cottage and get to know the lo💫cals around the city. Everyone is said to run on their own schedule, with different businesses in the town that you can visit, from a pub to a cafe. As well as making friends, you can even try to start up a romantic relationship and go on dates. Yes, love can even be found in the idyllic-l꧅ooking city. We can't wait to meet the swoon-worthy characters.

There have been various posts on social media platforms (which you can see below) that have also given us little slices of Witchbrook goodness. In one clip we can listen to the melodic transitions as a witch visiꦍts a plant store in the rain, while another shows off a character riding aඣ red moped. We saw another character going around Mossport on the same vehicle during the announcement trailer, so it looks like brooms won't be our only means of travel.

With plenty to explore in the city and the surrounding forest, you can also attend festivals, grow your garden, run your own business with resources you gather, go shopping, visit an arcade, or snap p𒀰hotos with your camera. Honestly, it all sounds very magical.

If you can hardly wait to discover more, you can currently register on Witch𒁏brook's official site to .

Will Witchbrook be multiplayer?

If you're wondering whether Witchbrook will be multiplayer, we have good news! Chucklefi🎶sh confirmed that the upcoming witch life sim will support 4-player online co-op, meaning you can get stuck into the adventure with friends.

The even reveals you can race against each other on brooms or have a spot of coffee together at your local cafe. It certainly has all of the makings of becoming one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best co-op games in the future.

Witchbrook development

Witchbrook screenshot of a street in Mossport

Witchbrook has been in development for a long time, with Chucklefish revealing it✨ was initially working on the magical RPG all the way back in 2017. That means it's been inꦚ development in some capacity for almost eight years.

CEO and lead designer Finn Brice shared more details about the project in 2019 🐬with a desig🐼n document that gave an overview of the int🃏ended direction and overall goal for the game. Hoping to create an "engaging but relaxing experience," the rundown detailed planned features such as wizard duels, forbidden magic, and more.

Since then, we hadn't had much in the way of news about the game for almost six years until the new trailer and launch window dropped. Things, of course, change during development, and while we don't yet know every single feature we can expect to s🔯ee in Witchbrook, our latest updated look certainly seems to be capturing the intended vibes Chuc✃klefish was said to be aiming for back in 2019.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> Magical pixel art life sim 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Witchbrook finally has a release window, years after its initial announcement, and we can all look fo꧂rward to playing later🏅 this year.

Shown off during today's Nintendo Direct, Witchbrook was given a new trailer showin෴g off its bustling town, as well as broom flight, some sort of spellcasting, and even what looked like a little baby dragon hatching from an egg. You can take a look below.

Most excitingly, developer Chucklefish has confirmed that its blend of Stardew Valley of Hogwarts Legacy will be launchi𝔍ng on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox consoles this winter, with a Holiday 2025 release window.

It's been a long time coming – Witchbrook was first teased all the way back in 2016, and we've seen rather little of it since. In fact, in all these years we've known it's happening, this is the first actual trailer – we've mainly just been living off very pretty screenshots.

There are plenty of reasons why it's so exciting, though – it's described as a "coming-of-age adventu💎re" where you become a witch-in-training at a magical college, while befriending (and dating) residents of the seaside town of Mossport, all supplemented by the sort of life sim activities we all know and love like farming and fis🌞hing. What's more, there's also multiplayer – up to four friends can play together in online co-op.

Witchbrook was certainly one of the highlights of today's Nintendo Direct, but it wasn't the only exciting announcement. We also got 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:another look at Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which showed off a new trick upꦫ S𒅌amus' sleeve – psychic powers.

Be sure to keep up with all of today's Nintendo news in our roundup of everything announced during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Simulation ]]> So, you've created your perfect Zoi, and you're ready to start making money (AKA Meow) in InZOI. Well, we're here to help you easily boost your funds with some top tips. Much like in the real world, in the virtual world of InZOI you need cold-hard cash to fund your Zoi's lifestyle – and the more extravagant you want that lifestyle to be, the mo𒊎re Meow you need.

Fortunately, there are several ways to make money in InZOI. So, whether you want to graft for it, gain ಌit through nefarious means, ༒or simply use a cheat, here's how to get more InZOI money.

Not sure where to begin? Then make sure you check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:InZOI starter guide to get tips and tricks for your virtual life.

Get a job

InZOI Money

If you want to graft for your cash, you need to get a job. You can apply for full-time or part-time jobs through the Career menu on your phone, with jobs differing slightly depending on the ꧋city you live in. If you need money now, look for the entry-level job that pays the highest Meow in your city. In Bliss Bay, it's a Junior Developer at Blue Moon Soft at 360 Meow a day. If you're✤ playing the long game, look for the job with the highest senior-level pay and work toward that.

Get a promotion

InZOI Money

To reach that senior-level job, you need to get promoted. To do this, attend work each day you're scheduled to (you need to physical💃ly go there) and complete the tasks you're assigned during your shift to earn experience points. Once your current position experience bar (viewed in the Career menu) reaches 100%, you should get a phone message (not necessarily straight away) telling you that you've been promoted – and get a nice pay rise, too.

In InZOI's early access version, the days of the week in career view are l♐isted in Korean, ꧑which can make it hard to know when you need to show up. So here's a list of which days are which:

 • Moon = Monday
 • Hwa = Tuesday
 • Su = Wednesday
 • Mok = Thursday
 • Geum = Friday
 • Tote = Saturday
 • d = Sunday

Sell your creations

InZOI Money

If a standard 9-5 isn't for you, then consider utilizing your Zoi's sk♕ills to make money. Using a computer or laptop, you can write, compose music, produce videos, and more to make money from the comfort of your home. You can also create and sell paintings and Bonsai trees through the Pocket Market app on your phone.

Sell second-hand items

InZOI Money

This seems slightly more complicated and we can't confirm it definitely works right now, but you should be able to sell certain second-ha🧜nd items for a💟 price you set.

According to the Psicat Guide, you should be able to sell second-hand items by "dropping off the items you want to sell at the residential or public💛 area" where your current Zoi is. While we've tagged several items for second-hand sale, none have sold, so we're unsure if this system is working properly. It could be these items aren't selling because you need to set up a second-hand sales booth or mat on the street (mentioned as a second option in the Psicat Guide), but we've been unable to work out how to actually do that as there are none of these mats or booths in the furniture menu that we ✤can see.

It's possible this is an early access bug or a misunderstanding on our end, but we'll update this guide when we confirm how ꦰthis𒉰 system works.

Steal

InZOI Money

If you're not making money as quickly as you'd like, or you just have a mean st꧟reak, you can make extra dough through bad deeds, such as stealing. But be careful with this one: there are CCTV cameras scat𝓡tered around InZOI's cities, and if you get caught, you face a fine (which doesn't help with your money woes) or jail.

Also, committing crimes like stealing lowers your Zoi's Karma an🃏d could result in them becoming a ghost with unfinished business w🌊hen they die.

Win the Lottery

InZOI Money

Even Zois have dreams of winning the lottery, and if you happen to hit the jackpot after buying a lottery ticket from one of the Lottery Stands scattered across the city, your money worries could be a t𓃲hing of the past. Lottery tickets are 5 Meow a go, so it's worth buying a fe🎐w in a go for the best chance of winning.

A Tier One loan gives you 300 Meow, and if you apply for one, the bank will message y𓆉ou three hours after to confirm whether you've been granted the loan. Just make sure you can pay it back.

To use cheats in InZOI, you simply need to click a couple of buttons. Select the Psicat Guide, the book icon on the bottom right❀ of your screen, to bring up The Psicat Help menu.

At the bottom-left of this menu are three large buttons: 'Customer Support,' 'Use Money Cheat,' and 'Emergency Rescue.' Select the 'Use Money Cheat' or 'Emergency Rescue' button to activate the respective cheat.

It's unclear whether Krafton plans to change the process of activating cheats at a later date, especially given its plans to add more of them in Update 2 (more on this further down), but we're hoping the developer allows these additional cheats to be activated at the press of a button, t🉐oo.

As InZOI is in early access, you may encounter a few bugs, including ones that cause your Zoi to becomeꦓ stuck somewhere they shouldn't. For example, I got stuck floating in my SUV, with my Zoi unable to perform any actions.

When this happens, select the Psicat Guide on the bottom-right corner of your screen, then select the red 'Emergency Rescue' button on the bottom-left of the Psicat help menu. You then need to choose which of your Zois requires rescuing🔴, and the game automatically moves them to a different location, unsticking them in the process.

While this may not technically be a cheat, it's usefu♕l for getting your Zoi out of sticky situations with ease.

When are more cheats coming to InZOI?

If you're looking for a shortcut to get ahead, then check out what 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:InZOI cheats are currently available for an easy head start.

1. Create your Zoi

InZOI Starter Guide

First things firstꦍ, you need to make a Zoi. InZOI's character creator has a vastꦬ range of customization options, letting you edit almost every aspect of your hyper-realistic character.

In the Profile section on the left-hand side, enter your Zoi's name (or use a randomized choice), then select their age group (ranging from child to senior) and their gender (either female, male, or non-binary). Under gendeꦰr, you can also select the preferred ꦆgender of your Zoi's romantic interests.

Next, you need to choose your Zoi's Trait, which dictates their personality, likes/dislikes, ambitions, and social interactions – this can even affect their emotions and needs. There are 18 Traits to🍎 choose from, falling under nine key categories, including Wise and Logical, Honest and Bold, and Jovial and Cheerful. Note that your Zoi's Trait cannot be changed once you start the game.

Th𝔍e next section, Desired Life, is optional but can help you to give your Zoi a direction in its virtual life, while also impacting𒉰 their goals and social interactions. There are 16 options available, ranging from a Life of Freedom to a Life of Advancement, and the game clearly lets you know which Traits, ambitions, values, and skills align well with which Desired Life.

Once you've created your Zoi's personality, you can move on to customizing your Zoi's appearance, utilizing the range of realistic face, body, and clot🌄hing options available to make your perfect character.

If you just wa🉐nt to create characters, but not necessarily play with them, you can do so in Character Studio – an♔ option available under Creator Mode in the lobby.

2. Build your dream home

InZOI Starter Guide

Once you've created your Zoi, it's time to find them a home (or build one!) First, select which city you want to live in: Indonesia-inspired Kucingku, Korean metropolis-inspired Dowon, or coastal America-inspired Bliss Bay. Once you've picked your city, choose an empty residential lot or vacant home to move your Zoi into. Blue icons on your city map indicate homes already inhꦐabited, so choose a gray house marker (a pre-built house) or a gray square marker (an empty lot with no home) and select 'Play' to move in.

If you've moved into a 💝vacant lot, you can now use InZOi's vast Build Mode options to create your dream home before filling it with your desired items. If you'd rather avoid building altogether, you can select a property preset to have one built for you, and then you just need to add any extra items you want. There are plenty of furniture options available, but you can also create your own custom furniture if none appeal to you.

If you're not fussed about living a virtual life and just wa♏nt to create properties, you can do so using the Blueprint Studio option from the main lobby, under Creator Mode.

3. Manage your Zoi's needs and emotions

InZOI Starter Guide

Like The Sims, InZoi's Zois have needs you must fulfill to keep your Zoi happy and healthy. These are fairly easy to maintain: B👍at📖hroom need is low: use the toilet; Social is low: socialize a bit. It's your Zoi's emotions you need to keep a closer eye on.

Emotions (good and bad) are triggered by fulfilled and unfulfilled needs, social interactions, your Zoi's Trait, and more. The easiest way to trigger a good emotion is to complete an urge when it arises. Zois sometimes get time-sensitive urges inไfluenced by their preferences, values, Trait, and more. When an urge is fulfilled, the Zoi is granted a specific positive emotion. For example, my carnivorous Zoi currently has the urge to eat Yukgaejang. Fulfilling this ur♓ge will grant them the Tranquil emotion, allowing them to level up their Gardening skill faster and giving them tranquility-specific social interactions.

It's also worth checking out your Zoi's Ambitions via their Zoi Card and trying to fulfill the set challenges. Doing so earns you Meow Coins that you can spend o💮n need and emotion-altering do✃nuts in the Meow Store.

4. Keep your house clean

InZOI Starter Guide

No one likes a dirty home, but someone who really doesn't is Psicat. Your home has a cleanliness level that you can view using the 'Home Information' button on the right-hand side of your screen. The cleanliness bar indicates how dirty your Zoi's home is and if your level falls below the bar, the relationships within your household can become strained, your Zoi itself can become dirty, and – most upsettingly – 𒁏Psicat will keep shouting at you (in message form). Purchase and use a vacuum cleaner or mop and have your Zoi stay on top of the cleaning, especially as maid services don't seem to be available🥀 right now.

5. Customize and manage your city

InZOI Starter Guide

Extra InZOI tip

Want to hide the game's UI to allow for more natural screenshots? Press Ctrl + Shift + U on your keyboard to disable the UI, then repeat to enable it again.

It's not just your Zoi or their home you have control over, you can also customize and manage their city. To do t𓄧his in live mode, 👍press 'M' on your keyboard to open the Edit Map menu.

To customize your city, select 'City Decoration' from the top bar of the City Map screen. You ♐can then adjust the weather, trees, billboards, and even animals within your city to your liking.

To manage your city, choose the 'Manage City' option under the City Map 'Manage Zois' menu. From here, you can adjust the likelihood of certain relationships in your city, the civic consciousness of its citizens, the probability of fires, and much 𝓰more. So, you could make a dirty, unsafe city full of overly emotional Zois if you so wish.

The City Map menu also lets you use Themed Studio🥀 (available via 'Guides'), where creators can stage their own unique scenarios using Zois and preset🐬 backdrops.

6. Get a job

InZOI Starter Guide

With your Zoi's needs and emotions under control, you need to make some money (unless you've utiliz🐼ed the money cheat). As The Offspring once asked: Why don't you get a job? It's easy to do: simply press P on your keyboard or select your phone and select 'Career' from the bottom menu.

Listed jobs are divided by workplace, and you can even choose whether to see part-time or full-time roles. Potential careers for your Zoi include working in a furnit♚ure store or amusement park or becoming a hotshot lawy꧙er or reporter. Each workplace has several jobs listed, from entry to higher level. To apply for a job, select 'Apply' and wait for an acceptance message from the employer. If the 'Apply' button is grayed out, you're not eligible for the role you're looking at. Make sure you're happy with the job you choose as you'll follow your Zoi to work, completing set taks, each working day.

Jobs are available for Young Adults, Adults, and Middle-Aged Zois, but Sen🐷ior Zois are forced into retirꦚement and can't apply for any jobs.

7. Explore your city

InZOI Starter Guide

Don't just leave the house when you have to go to work; get out and explore your city. You can do ꦜthis by manually exploring with your camera, then choosing 'Walk Here' when you find somewhere you want your Zoi to go (aka the shoelace express/bus approach). You can also select your 𒀰City Map again, find a destination you want to explore, select its marker, then 'Go Here.'

Our favorite method, however, is in style. Use the money cheat (or save up) and buy a car from your phone menu. You can then use the City Map option to 'Drive Here' or hop in your car and press M to open the map and choose somewhere to drive. The final option is to turn on the manual drive option under gameplay settings and attempt to man🎶ually drive your car.

InZOI has some ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚcool, if not a bit dull, shops, libraries, cafes, and more to explore, so check them out.

8. Socialize

InZOI Starter Guide

This takes us nicely on to our next tip: making friends. Socializing and making friends in InZOI can be particularly confusing as there are so many social interaction options available. There are four relationship types in InZOI: love, friendship, business, and family. Choosing social interactions relevant to the relationship you ꧋want with a particular Zoi will increase the𝓰 bar for that relationship level.

You can see relationship information by pressing R on your keyboard. Each relationship type has six tiers (seven if you 𝄹include neutral), ranging from downright awful to excellent. The two highest and lowest tiers for each relationship type require you to perform a social interaction to unlock. For example, to move from Friend to Confident, you need to choose the social interaction with the respective Zoi that asks them to be your Confident – it won't happen automatically.

InZOI's social system is perhaps one of its most confusing elements, so it can take some trial an🐈d error t🌸o get to grips with.

9. Start (or make) a family

InZOI Starter Guide

Now that you have the house and job of your dreams, you may want to consider starting the family of your dreams (or making them). There are two ways to create a family in InZOI at present. The first is to meet a lovely Zoi you like, get married, and then have a little Zoiby with your genetics. But, if you don't care about your family's gr🔯owth being organic, you can just make an instant family.

Go to the City Map by pressing M, then select your Zoi's household and select 'Add Family Member' by your family's name to create new family members and set their relationship with you. Note thaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚt you can't create a baby Zoi this way, as children are the youngest family members you can create.
