Via , a Deltarune player on Reddit shared a screenshot of their cr🎃edits sceཧne from the game's newly released fourth chapter, apparently after playing through all four chapters and not picking up any one of the game's available trophies on PS4 and PS5, which currently are the only platforms that have Deltarune trophies.

Before I share the screen, here's a spoiler warning for anyone who hasn't played Delta꧃rune Chapter 4: I'm going to share the full message this player received, so 💙if you don't want to know anything going in, turn away now.

OK, are you gone yet? Cool, here it is:

from

"INTERESTING.

YOU FAILED

ANY MARKS.

WHAT

ARE

YOU?

"(playername)"

I VERY MUCH

LOOK FORWARD

TO THE NEXT."

According to Redditor millsbuddy, who shared this genuinely impressive achievement🦹, there are a fe🎶w conditions that need to be met to receive this special text from the Voice.

First, you have to be playing on PS4 or PS5, and you have to have trophies enabled. Then, the system will check to make sure you haven't collected any of those trophies, and that y🌠ou managed to complete all four of Deltarune's chapters at least once. If you meet those criteria, you should get the above message in the credits.

Deltarune's lo🅷ng-awaited third and fourth chapters finally launched earlier this month, and w👍ith them came the game's very first trophies, exclusive t༒o PlayStation.

The funny thing is, looking at the list of , it actually seems like this non-trophy achievemꦜent is way harder to get than most of the trophies in the game. With trophies being awarded for basic functions like consuming items, equipping armor and weapons, and taking certain amounts of damage, it definitely seems like something you'll have to actively work toward if you want this special message, which is just very Toby Fox of him to do.

I wonder if this is what Fox was talking about when he said the new Deltarune trophies ꦇwould "give rise t꧋o a pretty hard-core challenge." Sure seems like it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Life sim RPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals T🔜ime has crossed one million units sold, developer and publishe🌼𓂃r Level-5 has revealed.

The milest🍨one is accompanied by a new update adding a few highly requested features, chiefly including an expanded camera view that'll allow you to see further. Although Fantasy Life i has been very well-received, one common pain point has been the fairly limited view you get from the in-game camera, particularly in the open-world area, Ginormosia.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino shared a screenshot of Ginormosia through the lens of the updated camera, and it indeed looks like a much wider view, and one less angled toward the ground. In the screenshot, you can much more easily spot towers and various landmarks without ꦕactually havin🐲g to approach them.

According to the , the update also adds separate buttons for faster sowing and watering during farming, the ability to listen to the "Life Song" repeatedly after Mastering a life, improved Switch 2 graphics, a feature that auto-locks your weapon onto enemies when you unsheathe it, and expanded control🌳 mapping.

Fantasy Life i launched late last month on PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC to highly positive reviews calling it a dangerously adﷺdicting hybrid of Animaওl Crossing-style life sim and Zelda-style exploration and dungeon-busting. It's now available on Switch 2 as well for a tiny upgrade fee.

Fantasy Life i, the sequel to a life sim RPG that boldly asked 'What if Animal Crossing was a Zelda game?,' was more than worth the 11-year wait – it might be my GOTY.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> The latest chapters of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Deltarune, Toby Fox’s enigmatic followup to Undertale, have arrived, filled with all sorts of Easter eggs and references for players to uncover. Multiplayer juggernaut Among Us gets a nod in Chapter 4, and Fox had th🦋e perfect response when it was noticed.

Without going too deep into spoiler territory✤, there’s a part in Chapter 4 where Susie, Kris and Noelle are in a storage closet. While there, one off them comments the room is “kinda sus,” a clear aspersion to Innersloth’s exceedingly popular murder deduction game.

Upon seeing the quote make the rounds, Innersloth commented on social media about it. “Ahhhh, Among Us r꧙eference in Deltarune, I'mma crash out!” the Amo💛ng Us Twitter account proclaims.

They should’ve kept it cool, because Fox responded in the most hilarious way possible. ꦰHe posted fictional patch notes, about an update to remo🔯ve Among Us from the RPG. Alas, easy come easy go.

Just to be clear: Toby hasn’t changed anything. This is all a cute joke between developers over a shared love of each other’s work. But as far as clapbacks go, it's💙 veꦫry effective.

On June 5, we got chapters three and four of Deltarune. The Undertale sequel maintains many of the same charac🤡teristics, from an 8-bit aesthetic to choice-based gameplay. Just like its predecessor, you can 🃏tackle the whole thing as a pacifist, or you can go in all guns blazing to discover the many wacky facets of combat.

The tapered release allows players to discover the story and world together, sharing titbits from the various forks in the road they encounter. Chapter 5 is due out next year, and if anything sus happens, you’ll find ouꦑt about it here.

After breaking Steam, Deltarune dev Toby Fox appears to aim to break the internet: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure to load up your save file one more time afterwards"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Saying 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic game doesn't generate heated discussions online anymore. 2023's big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Phantom Liberty expansion and the linked systemic rework turned things around. Moreover, that wasn't the end of the road for the game, which has gotten further enhancements since then. Even after the alleged end of support we're waiting for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:yet another chunky update. Now, the only mountain that's left to conquer is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo's hardware. Does the Swit🦩ch 2 port succeed or should you stick with th✨e experience on a handheld PC?

As the proud owner of a Steam Deck, I had some doubts about the personal enjoyment I could get out of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 port, but at the same time, I was extremely curious aboutꦛ how well it could possibly run on what's ultimately a beefed-up tablet. If this was a serious effort to bring a cutting-edge AAA title to Nintendo's new hybrid console at launch, the rest of the generation could look very promising. Now, 10 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 – I've imported my main PC save – I can confidently say it's easily the best way to play it on the go.

As crisp-looking and smooth as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World is, Cyberpunk 2077 is the ultimate way to push the Switch 2 to its limits right now. It's the one game that will make your jaw drop once or twice because it almost feels illegal to have something that looks this good running on 'puny' Nintendo hardware. It's not just an excellent rendiไtion of the game as seen in all its glory on current-gen platforms an🀅d PC, but also a perfectly fine way to enjoy it for the first time... as long as you don't mind some rough edges.

Uncompromised vibes

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 review: "We're in for an excellent generation"

Whereas the (admittedly impressive) Switch port of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 by Saber Interactive had to dial the visual presentation so much that it inevitably enℱded up looking different, like a PSP-era adaptation of a big PS3 release, CD Projekt Red's Switch 2 debut can be described as the developer coming out swinging.

We can thank the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:console's DLSS capabilities for that, but it's also clear the developer made a ton of platform-specific optimizations in order to ensure it's the real deal. Mind you, the game can chug in certain areas, including the infamous center of Dogtown and some of 💫Night City's busier districts. Just walking or driving slowly around those parts will send the framerate below the 30 FPS cap (40 if you're on Performance mode). Try cruising fast through them and you might get proper hiccups and stutters; the RAM and CPU just can't keep up in such scenarios. Still, none of these slowdowns last too long, and it's safe to say Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 lands closer to the Xbox Series S and low-spec modern PC experience than PS4 & Xbox One's nightmarish versions. 1080p through DLSS gets the job done here thanks to the extra sharpening involved too.

Many gamers who don't care much about settings and whatnot might also be wondering which graphics mode is best. Short answer: There's no clear winner here. Long answer: Quality looks noticeably sharper, with image𓆉 that resolves more convincingly when it comes to finer details, but the extra 10 FPS (rarely constant, I must sꩲay) that come with Performance can help a great deal with the overall fluidity, especially in heated action sequences.

I'm typically a staunch defender of going with more FPS 99% of the time, yet I found myself leaning towards Quality because Performance rarely hits 40 FPS for more than a few seconds, making the loss in visual fidelity harder to swallow. Playing a first-person game at 30 FPS (with drops below possible) might seem bad, but at the time of writing, it's the more consistent experience, especially on handheld mode (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:VRR isn't a thing when docked). As for load times, don't worry about them.

When it comes to presentation, the big win is that Cyberpunk 2077 looks very much like Cyberpunk 2077. Even when you take away the sweet sweet high framerate which you can get elsewhere and fancy ray tracing, what's left on Switch 2 looks convincing and retains every delicious bit of the stunning art direction, whether it's the streets at night, the sleek vehicles, or a crowded market under the rain. Neither duller nor barren, t🦄his is Night City as I've experienced it for tens of hours on PC and PS5 before.

On the portable PC handhelds, simila🍎r visuals and performance are achievable (and DLSS still gives Switch 2 the upper hand), but the big difference is that Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 runs and looks fine out of the box. You can even load up cross-saves in mere seconds. There are gameplay, sound, and accessibility options you can tinker with, but hitting the ground running feels great.

Nifty cyberware

On top of HDR support and spatial audio that wows even in portable mode, the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 comes with all the bells and whistles that Nintendo spent some time marketing ahead of launch. Gyroscope enjoyers can get better precision with that aiming mode, and the console's mouse capabilities, while not ideal when playing at 30 or 40 FPS, are present too. While I'm not a fan of the latter in this game, it's a great showcase of wha🥂t the console can do outside of shinier graphics and denser worlds, and made me very excited about the future of first-person and strategy games on Switch 2.

If you like tablets a bit too much, the touch screen works in menus and for actions like hacking so you can go all Tom Cruise in Minority Report instead of using the buttons like a no𒆙rmal gamer.♉ In most cases, it's hard to imagine the average player messing with these options too much, but it's good to see CDPR going this deep and all-out with one of the console's launch titles. It sets a golden standard for big third-party ports moving forward, warts and all, and that's ultimately good for consumers.

Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo Switch 2 could've been a curiosity, a fun experiment with somewhat middling results. Instead, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:it's a promise of greater things to come and a bar to match or clear go🥀ing forward. With new updates and more polishing surely on the way, I find it hard to get too hung up on the rockier performance moments of a port that really feels like black magic.

If you can stomach some bumps in the road and deal with less snappy aim, there's no better option to take Night City everywhere you want. Now, if you'll excuse 🌊me, I need to replay Phantom Liberty again to t🅺ry and get the best ending this time around.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> I can't stop salivating over all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:RPG ingredients that were on display in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 Direct on Sunday. From the upcoming adventure's many skills and perks to its knee-popping flaws and faction-based companions, everything smacks of Obsidian Entertainment in the best way – with all kinds of options that will allow us to shape our Earth Directorate agent and their journey. While it already threatens to hold my role-playing heart in a vice grip, hearing that the sequel will bring with it a wealth of improvements to weapons and gunplay has drawn the biggest sigh of re🦩lief from me.

As much as I enjoyed my time as the Stranger in The Outer Worlds back in 2019, I didn't overly enjoy the combat. It often felt as if it played second fiddle to the game's dialogue ch𝔉oices, worldbuilding, and companions, which I think are the RPG's biggest strengths. It was always a bit of a shame, though, because the concept behind many of the weapons in the sci-fi universe were just downright fun, and tapped directly into the fantasy of Obsidian's off-beat, corporate dystopian world.

But with a disconnect between the designs of the guns and how satisfying they actually were to use, shots never really were as 🔥punchy as I wanted them to be, and I never got too invested in that side of the game. But with Obsidian setting out to "improve gunplay in every way", and a host of unique weapons that have the sci-fi nerd in me utterly amped, all🅷 the stars seem to be aligning for the sequel.

Science fiction

The Outer Worlds 2 screenshot of the Shrink Ray making an enemy very small

With an extensiv𝓰e look at some of the weapons in The Outer Worlds 2, what gameplay director Matt Singh had to say about the overhaul to gunplay was music to my ears: "We focused on improving the feel of each weapon, the way a weapon snaps into ADS [aiming], the way the recoils feel when firing, and how impactful our sound effᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚects really sell the weapon's fantasy".

With improvements to every facet of a gun, right down to adding a "unique reload animation" ཧto give we𓄧apons more character, it promises to be such a step up from the first game. Given that I already loved conceptual designs of the weaponry in the original, the mention of revamping the "feel of each weapon" is what makes me most hopeful that the sequel will not only allow me to enjoy combat this time around, but also really sell me on the fantasy of fighting in the future.

I want the weapons to be as satisfying to fire as they sound, with my shots making a tangible impact or 😼connecting with some gusto – "feel" really is the operative word here. From everything Singh highlighted, I get the impression that the follow-up will make my wishes come true, and I'm already looking forward to seeing how each weapon handles for myself.

With The Outer Worlds 2 set to bring us to a new star system in a setting infused with science fiction zaniness, the weapons have so much potential for drawing us into the universe. We got to see a handful of unique weapons we'll get to play around with, witꦆh Obsidian's playful creativity on full display, and I'm hopeful the improvements will really let us make the most of the "increased variety of weapons" and "new weapon types".

The Outer Worlds 2 screenshot of the Armageddon sciene weapon

From the Boarst Blaster that fires out tumors that explode like grenades, to the Rookie's Reward that wil♛l improve the more you use it (and even fire out a confetti fanfare each time it levels up); we can even fire out ad drones to distract enemies with slogans and jingles using a Pop-Up gun. Heck, even some very neat science weapons from the first game are returning with some much needed upgrades, including the Shrink Ray. Instead of shrinking enemies down for a short period of time, they'll stay shrunk, and you can essentially squish them like a bug. I mean, who doesn't want to do that?

Not to mention the very rad looking Spectrum Dancer Saber, which is a new melee sword-like weap🃏on that has you attack to a musical beat and stack up bonuses with each hit you land in time. These are exactly the kinds of wacky inventions I want from the wonderfully weird sci-fi setting, and I cannot wait to get my hands on them. With so many inventive designs, I have every hope they'll be as fun to use as they appear to be.

I absolutely know Obsidian can deliver in the weapon department, with Fallout: New Vegas, and more recently, Avowed, being stellar examples of RPGs with fulfilling and enjoyable combat systems. The Outer Worlds already laid down some solid foundations that just need some refining, and the Direct, coupled with the fact that Obsid𒁃ian sought out advice from the develop🐎er behind Halo to get the gunplay right in the sequel, has my sense of anticipation skyrocketing. Sure, the proof will be in the Shrink Ray-sized pudding as to how satisfying combat will feel this time around, but with all of the improvements and role-playing goodness in store, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the October 29 release date can't come soon enough.

A 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:leap across the entire map allowed by 15,000 points poured into Acrobatics, a fan managing to 澳🐬洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:paralyze their character🔜 for 66 years, a player finding 澳洲幸运5💎开奖号码历史查询:a trick that gave th💎em over 222 million Speed – the list goes on. A fan known online as "Scylax_Vitarrn" offers 🐽no exception.

from

T🔯aking to with a series of hilarious threads, Scylax_Vitarrn reveals that he wants the Imperial Watch Armor – the very same unobtainable set worn by the elite Imperial Palace Guards, one that a commenter on the Redditor's posts dubs the "coolest armor" in-game.

"Day 47 of reminding Palace Guards that unless they let us loot their armor, I'll put this back where I found it," Scylax_Vitarrn three days🌄 𒁃ago, threatening the NPCs with a Sigil Stone.

"Day 48 of telling a Palace Guard how serious of re-opening every Oblivion Gate I am until they ꧃let us loot their armor," he – one day ago. Attached to the Day 48 post is an ominous screenshot of various Sigil Stones piled up within the Imperial Palace. "I ain't playin' 𝓡brother. Small price to pay. 225 oblivion gates or your armor. What's it gonna be?" The chaos doesn't end on the 48th day of threatening the guards, either.

"Day 49 of reopening a Great Gate in the Imperial Palace until the🌃 Palace Guards let me loot their armor," reads the most recent from Scylax_Vitarrn – one that went live just 13 hours ago. "You had your chance. Now, how the hell do I open this thing again?" That means that he's nearing the 50th day now, with no Imperial W𝓀atch Armor in sight. A sad reality, and a very scary one for any Imperial Palace Guards in the business of ignoring his requests.

While it's unfortunately unlikely the guards will ever give into the threats of criminal scum (stop righ🍎t there!), fellow fans of the armor are replying to Scylax_Vitarrn with some potential quick solutions – namely, mods. As pointed out in responses, hosts the perfect download for those wanting to nab the set – the "Playable Imperial Watch Armor" mod. Or, the player can keep up the threats. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 had its big deep-dive 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:over the weekend, and as one of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Obsidian Entertainment's 300 games coming this year (okay, it's three, but that's still super impressive), it's looking like a massive step up from the original. One of the most impressive things shown during the big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase reveal (outside of the perks which澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: let you have bad knees) was the improved gunplay.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at𒁃 Summer Game Fest, Outer Worlds 2 director Brandon Adler spoke about the improvements, saying "even before The Outer Worlds 1 shipped, that was one of the things that we knew we had wanted to improve when we were going to target a sequel." In service of making great first-person shooting for the sequel Adler revealed the team ꦐ"did a full breakdown on Destiny, because we loved how that felt."

But Destiny wasn't the only Bungie franchise whose shooting fed into The Outer Worlds 2, as Adler revealed that Obsidian sought ouꦕt advice from Halo Studios "we said, like, 'Hey, what do you guys do? What are we doing wrong? How can we improve this?' And so they gave us a huge list of stuff, and they said, like, 'Hey, you guys should target these types of things. You guys should add this to your weapon configurations.' We did all of that."

Adler also mentioned that hiring a combat designer and weapons designer also gave the combat a huge boost, as they could dedicate their time to the combat.⛄ "So overall, it was just making that an actual thing that we decided to put a lot of effort and resources towards. But yeah, it was, it was something pretty important to us early on."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> In the span of just a few months, $80 games have gone from an all-new idea that nobody liked to a reality that more and more of us would have to deal with, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2📖 now the first Xbox-published game confirmed to boast the heftier price tag. However, the RPG's director has reiterated tha𒀰t the developers "don't set the prices" for their games.

Following on from the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 and its $80 launch title 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, Xbox 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:confirmed in a recent price hike that some of its own "new, first-party games starting this holiday season" would cost the same. The Outer Worlds 2 is our first confirmed example of this, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:pre-orders now open ahead♒ of Obsidian's latest RPG launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 29 (not what I'd have called the "holiday season," but anyway).

Asked about the ongoing $80 price conversations in an interview at Summer Game Fest, attended by GamesRadar+, The Outer Worlds 2 director Brandon Adler reiterates that it's u𒀰ltimately not a decision made by the peop🃏le making the game. "We're a game developer. We love to make games. We don't set the prices for our games," he begins.

"🌳Like, personally, as a game developer, I wish everybody could play my game, because that's what I want out of this whole thing. But for the reasons and so like, why the $79.99 price point, you'd have to honestly talk to the Xbox folks," he continues, avoiding touching on his "own personal feelings" during the interview.

The Outer Worlds 2 likely won't be the only game to hit $80 this year and beyond, but one thing is for sure, fans really don't want 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Borderlands 4 to be one of them. Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford has been 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:facing a lot of backlash lately after suggesting that "a real fan" would "find a way to make it happen," even if the upcoming looter shooter did cost $80 – somജething that's not actually been confirmed, it's worth noting.

From serial killer to bad knees, The Outer Worlds 2 has some ridiculous perks even by RPG standards, including one that just "makes the game pretty unplayable if you happen to choose that."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> After taking 10 years to arrive, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Age: The Veilguard didn't quite manage to live up to everyone's expectations. Although the 2024 action-RPG played well, the writing and tone felt off to many, coming across scattered and not as deep or compelling as Inquisition. A new report shines some light on what🥀 happened behind the scenes, and it turns out Square Enix's Forspoken may have caused some panic internally.

, the at best middling reaction to the chatter in Forspoken contributed to BioWare higher♒-ups initiating a top-down rewrite of The Veilguard's dialogue. Due to time constraints and other problems, this wound up exacerbating problems by creating tonal gaps between characters and plotlines.

Testers and devs on other inte𒀰rnal teams apparently thought the quippy tone was overdone and annoying in an early build of the game. Anticipating this sentiment carrying onto the general public, change was considered necessary.

A real storm of terrible conditions ensued, Bloomberg adds, between mandated overtime, layoffs, and the voice actor strike, which limited how much recording time BioWare had. The atmosphere sounds dour, contributing to what we ultimately🌸 ended up getting.

Forspoken did indeed take a hammering for its writing. The humor doesn't work, and although complex themes are presented, they're not explored wiℱth any real depth. It's a shame because, lik♍e with Dragon Age, there were characters who showed potential.

As can be seen here, though, reacting when you're working on a distinctly different series with an established team under an iconic studio may just straiꦬn the whole process and fray ends. We can only imagine how The Veilguard could've turned out if things were different, but this feels like one situation where the problems were spread a🎃round rather than fixed.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> In a new report chronicling the production turmoil that saw Dragon Age: The Veilguard rebooted, repeatedly delayed, renamed, and plenty more, that the format pivot at the root of the game's greatest troubles, the IP's fraught journey from single player to multiplayer and back again, saw EA give BioWare "a year and a half" to f🥀undamentally overhaul the game and "aim for as wide a market as possible."

The report cites interviews from nearly two dozen BioWare employees, including some former employees speaking on the record, like ex-Dragon Age lead writer David Gaider. It's༺ suggested that, after finally escaping the multiplayer hell that EA had locked the studio in in its hasty pursuit of the live service dragon, BioWare never had the space or resources to properly reassess what this new Dragon Age game wou🌠ld look like and how it would need to be made.

"The development team would make decisions believing that they had less than a year to release the game, which severely limited the stories they could tell and the world they could build," Schreier writes. Once those elements were locked in, it seems minor delays simply prolonged the suffering, giving folks just enough time to realize they could've done more, but not enough time to actually do more.

The unrealistic turnaround already puts one elephant in the room, and the room truly overflows with trunks and tusks with the dꦺouble whammy of EA's expectဣations.

When Dragon Age: The Veilguard sales 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:missed the compa📖ny's targets by "nearly 50%," EA CEO 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Andrew Wilson lamented that the✤ game "dꦏid not resonate with a broad enough audience in this highly competitive market."

This assessment seemed to downplay the issues and criticisms raised by plenty of diehard Dragon Age players – the people who made the previous games in the series a success, and by rights the people who EA and BioWare should have focused on – and simultaneously imply that the solution could have been to somehow go broader. Attract more groups of people, appeal to more audiences, and – let's just say the quiet part out loud – perhaps, maybe, possibly add in some of those evergreen live service elements that we crowbarred in, hacks൩awed out, and will still apparently hold against you.

BioWare already barely managed to stretch a twin-sized bedsheet over a queen-sized mattress, and here comes EA rolling in a California King. This tight production timeline, coupled with a foolhardy pursuit of broad appeal for a series with historically niche appeal but𓂃 a loyal following, suggests꧅ EA never really knew what it had with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, let alone how to make the most of it.

Wilson mentions a "highly competitive market," but EA didn't seem to realize that it was competing in the RPG market, a market that has seen chart-topping, industry-dominating, award-hoovering hits year after year after year. Those successful games, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and boy, maybe EA should've just put a 3 in the title for good luck, went all-in on a very specific roleplaying vision. And it ಌworked!

But instead of an RPG that was always built to be an RPG, as invol𝓰ved and r𒁃eactive and crunchy as possible, EA entered this highly competitive market with an RPG that had some of the roleplaying, and arguably some of what made Dragon Age what it was, power-washed off in pursuit of broad appeal. Which is no surprise coming from a game that was incubated as a multiplayer project and then hastily brought back to reality after reality deigned to strike EA between the eyes.

Sizing up the breakout success of Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Gaider told me last month⭕ that these RPGs demonstrate what's possible when you do commit to that core RPG audience – an audience, Gaider said, that EA would historically describe as one you "didn't have to🍎 try and appeal to" because the RPG fans in their ne♒rd cave would show up regardless. His comments seem especially relevant in the context of this new report.

"The sales for BG3 were amazing," Gaider said, "and kind of make a lie out of – I remember when I was at EA, there was a lot of investigation into how large is the RPG audience, and how large is the action audience, and so forth. And they would have an estimate, and they'd say it caps out, oh, the ෴RPG audience caps out at about 5 million. But that doesn't seem to be true when the game is good."

"I think there's such a thing as expanding the audience, as opposed to treating the audien✤ce as this finite number of people, right?" Gaider added. "And I think that's what Expedition 33 really does. I think it manages to take the elements of JRPGs – and I don't think it's doing a lot of new things, honestly. It's taking a number of more recent trends and kind of bundling them up in an interesting way that I think makes i🔜t very accessible to people who normally wouldn't play JRPGs. And does that with fully mocapped animations that are really high quality."

Dragon Age: The Veilguard

In fairness, as EA also noted in its elephant-saddled assessment, the critical response to The Veilguard was actually quite good. Our own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Age: The Veilguard review gives it nearly full marks, praising its companions,꧑ combat, and lore. But even our resident Dragon Age head Rollin clocked "few meaningful inflection points" where your choices mattered in the big picture, and this kind of thing seems to have been a much bigger issue for many fans. The version of Dragon Age: The Veilguard we got wasn't so much made as it was salvaged, and its immensely polarized user reviews – 69% across over 37,000 reviews on Steam alone – speak for themselves🍨.

"When you have a publisher hanging over your head, they're looking for very specific things," Gaider also said. "They want mass appeal. They don't care about appealing very, very strongly to a specific audience. They want mass appeal. They want to feel comfortable, de-risk it by imagining how the appeal translates to many different kinds of audience൩s, which I think often kind of ends up diluting the very specific things a game can do. Like I said, what BG3 did and what Expedition does is, yes, they appeal very, very strongly to that one audience, but it's so strong that it ends up growing that audience. And I think that's the part where publishers could really struggle."

Dragon Age legend says even if he didn't leave BioWare 9 years ago, he still would have dipped over EA's live service Dragon Age push: "What a devil's contract that would have been."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> At the close of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, fans got to catch a glimpse of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Blood of Dawnwalker – and from wh🥀at developer Rebel Wolves is saying, the upcoming vampire RPG is shaping up to be quite something.

Speaking in a post-stream announcement on , Rebel Wolves creative director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz explores how the studio managed to strike a fun balance between human and vampire gameplay in protagonist Coen. "From the start, our goal was to make both of Coen's forms, human and vampire, equally engaging, fun, and meaningful to play," writes the lead. "Each brings uniq🌱ue abilities and influences the world, quests, and story in different ways."

Tomaszkiewicz, who previously worked on iconic 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:CD Projekt Red RPGs like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077, continues, explaining how Rebel W꧅olves wanted to properly nail the vampires in The Blood of Dawnwalker: "When it comes to vampires, we wanted to honor the classic vision – the elegant "nobility" of th🌞e night, while also introducing some twists that make our vampires stand out in more distinct, sometimes unsettling ways."

That's not all, though. There's some Nosferatu-esque lore in there, tꦯoo. "To turn a human, a vampire must pull out one of their teeth and pierce the heart of their chosen target," states Tomaszkiewicz. "This ritual is one of our biggest changes to vampire lore, and it plays a crucial role in Coen's transformation into a dawnwalker." It didn't all work out for the main character, however – asꦉ the dev says, "something went wrong."

While Tomaszkiewicz doesn't spoil any further details, I can't help but be wildly excited at the prospect of a good vampire game with ties to both history and established mythology. Coupled with what he's said about The Blood of Dawnwalker featuring 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"combat that feels authentic" because they "studied medieval fighting styles and even have a few trained swordsmen on the team," this all has me thrilled to finally play the RPG in 2026.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Speedrunners work fast - it's kinda part of the territory - and despite 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 being out less than two months, the completion record is down to sub-9ও0 minutes. That's a pretty incredible feat for a story-dense action-RPG, and Ben Starr, one of the voice actors, poked some fun at the notion of someone glossing over all the narrative elements.

A fundamental element of any speedrun is skipping as much as humanly possible. In🅺 Clair Obscur, there's a lot of cut-scenes to bypass, vastl♒y reducing how much of the plotting and performance work the player encounters.

During an episode of Devs React to Speedrun on IGN focusing on the French game, the cast got to see speed🌌runner Oh Snap do his thing with Expedition 33, for which he's currently fifth in the world for completion time. In the demonstration, they chat about seeing players already carve out such impressive records, leading Starr to sprinkle in some sarcasm.

"Thank you so much for respecting our work, it really is amazing," he says, adding on a more sincere note: "It's so cool to see the ways in which audiences have engaged with this. [Director] Guillaume [Broche] has 🅠said himself, he wants to see people do no-hit runs."

Starr goes on to state there are multiple ways to enjoy something like Clair Obscur: "This game is obviously a really beautiful narrative and an amazing, immersive world, an amaz𒁏ing story, but also it's a playground for fun."

He then makes another lighthearted jab as Oh Snap clips through a bush. "It's♈ just really cool to see people play the game the way that it was intended," Starr laughs.

Speedrunning gives a whole other perspective on most games, as people demonsꦗtrate wild ways of traversing any given release. Clair Obscur is a gorgeously presented, incredibly deep RPG, and it's positively cartoony to watch someone quite literally fall through parts of it ꦡto make progress.

Achieving these outrageous runs takes a lot of discipline and granular knowledge. If you just want to enjoy a game, playing the regular way, with all the cast 𒁏doing their thing in full, is advised.

"That was me at three in the morning trying to come up with something": Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's silliest moment came to its writer when she was very, very tired

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> As I watch a stuttering gameplay demo for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Code Vein 2 during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, all I can think about is how pretty it lo𝓀oks – when it's behaving. But this is the way of the Code Vein franchise: the original game from 2019 was🅘 awkward to control, though as atmospheric as 2AM, but its sequel's producer tells me Code Vein 2 wants to be better.

"In terms of why it was important to make Code Vein 2," producer Keita Iizuka says through an interpreter when I ask him, "I think [...] that core [Soulslike] gameplay – retaining it and improving on it for the players for the players was important t📖o me."

"I think the Soulslike, challenging battles [...] 🐽and the dramatic storytelling with the exploration is something that resonates really well with players," Iizuka continues. "Likewise, from the gameplay mechanics side, the idea of having ♓a partner with you during all this exploration" – Code Vein features several companion characters – "I think is very emotionally rewarding.

"Those eleꦇments – we wanted to bring them into Code Vein 2, and t🌳hen evolve them."

That's why Iizuka 🦄considers Code Vein 2 a standalone game. While the RPG's gothic and electronic, supernatural and futuristic environment identify it as part of the Code Vein 🍸family tree, and its story about hunting monster Revenants adopts some of the first game's mythology, Code Vein 2 is ultimately "completely different," Iizuka says.

"The world 𒐪is completely different," he explains. "The characters are all different. So the story, of course, is going to be different."

But, most importantly for me – someone who's unable to deny any vampire's demonic, cherry-stained beauty – Code Vein 2 is a vampire game in an expanding galaxy of vampire games, if FromSoftware's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Duskbloods and RPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Blood of Dawnwalker are any i❀ndication. With its combat system propelled by your ability to drain enemies' blood, Iizuka muses that "there's something that really attracts us to this [...] motif for characters and storytelling."

Vaꦜmpires are "extremely powerful and very strong," he continues, "yet they [have] very clear weaknesses that I think everyone kind of universally understands." Just like any of us fallible humans, "they're not invincible."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Deltarune may be one of the most anticipated multi-chapter RPGs ever – yes, even more so than the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy, which is at least based on 🍰a game with a widely known story. This sort-of spiritual successor to cul♔t classic Undertale first dropped in 2018, while its second chapter didn't arrive until 2021. It's then been an agonizing four-year wait for the next chapter, while the community has gone down rabbit holes of theories.

But creator Toby Fox has spent that time well, rewarding us with not just one but two new chapters for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch – in a package that also🙈 serves as the full-priced singularly titled release, with subsequenౠt chapters included as free updates. Deltarune is really here, even if we're only currently able to play four of its chapters.

Fast Facts

Release date: June 5, 2025
Platform(s): PC, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4
Developer: Toby Fox
Publisher: 8-4, Toby Fox

It's also one of the few indie titles from Nintendo Switch 2's launch line-up, which is perhaps indicative of Fox's star power – as a composer, he has also contributed to the soundtracks of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It's also a perfect fit as, despite Deltarune's PC origins, the game wears its heart on its sleeve as a love letter to the classic SNES RPG adventures of Nintendo's yesteryear. But more than homage, it carves its own path with memorable characters and systems that also meanܫs it's not simply a retread of Undertale.

It's not completely essential to have played the 2015 game, since Deltarune isn't a sequel but rather set in a parallel universe to Undertale's, with some familiar characters and referꦇences but in a different context. In a subversion to many RPGs where your protagonist is a vessel for the playe🦩r, you play a canonical character called Kris, a human child living in an idyllic town, complete with a church, diner, library and school, almost reminiscent of Earthbound. The difference is that rather than being set in fictionalized Americana, this world is populated by diverse monster races living harmoniously among each other, including Kris' mother Toriel, the same-but-not-the-same version of Toriel from Undertale.

Its strength fortunately doesn't lie in references to its parallel predecessor but rather in the new characters Kris encounters as they stumble from their normal school day into the Dark World. This includes Susie, the scary school bully who literally threatens to bite your face off, and a mysterious prince named Ralsei. Together, you become an unlikely trio, the Lightners tasked with sealing dark fountains that have started springing up, in order to save both the worlds of the light and the dark. That may sound like your boilerplate JRPG set-up, but Deltarune's delight ꦛcomes from setting up these conventions b💛efore knocking them down.

Acts of kindness

Someone admires castle town in an over the top way in Deltarune

What felt revolutionary about Undertale was that it was an RPG where you were encouraged not to kill enemies but find non-violent solutions to win a battle. That's a philosophy which carries over to Deltarune, and while it may not feel as refreshing as it might have a decade ago, it still has some new twists. For starters, rather than fighting alone, you have a party, which also gives the battles the side-on view of classic Final Fantasy turn-based battles. Initially however, you have limited control over the hotheaded Susie, who would rather go in swinging her axe. For Undertale fans, it sets up a fascinating conundrum of trying to win a battle non-violently by showing mercy to your enemies, but al🍰so trying to prevent your reluctant ally from harming anyone (at least in the first chapter).

As someone who had played Undertale's pacifist route, I naturally went with a pl🔜aythrough with the intent of non-violence and never chose to 'fight'. Where some games that engage with these kinds of morality choices can often present pacifism as the boring way to play, Deltarune comes up with so many ideas to make this the preferable o💎ption.

Defending in Deltarune

Defense still plays a pivotal role, which, like in Undertale, takes the form of a bullet hell minigame as you move a heart inside a board while dodging enemy projectiles. But what becomes more important is getting your fellow party members to 'act'. That however requires a kind of magic gau꧃ge called TP that builds 🔯up during battles (it also resets after every encounter so you don't have to hoard it). You can increase this by choosing to defend during your turns but also by narrowly evading incoming projectiles, adding a risk/reward element to the bullet hell sections.

What makes these encounters unique is that both acts and bullet boards are often bespoke and contextual to the bizarre enemies, such as lowering a water cooler's guard by having your party chat while gathered around it. Sometimes, acts can affect an enemy's attack pattern to be easier or harder, but often it's just the excuse for a gag that earns a good belly laugh. The board itself can also function in some unpredictable ways, becoming a minigame💦 within the mi🎃nigame or a novel way to further the plot. Given this was a mechanic seen in Undertale, it's a delight how Fox finds numerous ways to make the act of evading projectiles different for virtually every enemy encounter.

How to shoot in Deltarune

Once you've spared🅷 an enemy enough times, you'll also recruit them.

It's perhaps because of the novelty and gags that means these encounters are also often only impactful on the first go, and so if you're not engaging in these battles to gain XP, any repeat encounters tend to feel more repetitive tha💖n your typical RPG grind, and fleeing is not an option. There's still an incentive, as once you've spared an enemy enough times, you'll also recruit them, which will see them showing up in your castletown hub in the Dark World. More significant enemies meanwhile will actively help you in your quest to seal the dark fountains.

Occasionally, it feels as if Fox is throwing a bunch of ideas against the wall to see what sticks. A stealth section mostly exists to poke fun at stealth mechanics but remains underwhelming. While you also eventually get to scale some environments, with the ability to leap across gaps, you're still constricted by the frustrating limitations of tile-based traversal. Nonetheless, these are minor quibbles since these only take up a tiny portion of a chapter, while most mechanics are there to serve the narrative, 🥀which is really what you're here for.

Character building

While I shan't be spoiling Deltarune's story, and there's plenty that happens that will no doubt have you searching fan forums for answers, it's less the grand narrative of the lore that compels me than it is the characters. Susie is, for me, the real heart and soul – a proper diamond in the rough. She might be someone I'd normally cross the street to avoid, but over the course of these🍰 four chapters, her arc is one of the best as you learn of her vulnerabiliti🐼es beneath that tough persona and her capacity for kindness, even if she shows it in her own unapologetically brash way.

That's also largely true about each chapter's villain of the week, such as Lancer in the first chapter who tries to foil the Lightners from time to time to prevent you reaching his father the tyrant king, or Tenna in the third chapter who wants to keep your party playing their game show forever. It helps that these characters are all memorable, goofy and flawed in their own way, to the point that you come to empathize with them even as you'll eventually have to battle over conflꦑicting goals rather than because they're evil.

Skipping ahead

Robots ask if you can handle this in Deltarune

If you played Deltarune when Chapter 1 first launched on PC as a free demo, you won't be able to carry over the save data if you decide to buy Chapters 1-💯4 on a different platform. You however don't need to start from the beginning as you're free to select any chapter. If you start a later chapter without an existing save file, the game gives the benefit of the doubt and canonically assumes you spared and recruited all the enemies in the previous chapters.

Deltarune is just stuffed with personality, which is testament to Fox's laugh-out-loud hilarious writing that's not only conveyed in the text itself but through its delivery of comically timed scrolls and awkward pauses. It's also in the art direction, which retains the crude but charming pixel art established in Undertale but is given a broader palette by main artist and animator Temmie Chang. Even while sticking to a primitive retro look, there's definitely richer use of sprites, color and animations, such as how Kris and Susie change appearances when jumping into the Dark World, which reminds me of crossing into the Metaverse in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5.

The benefit of Deltarune's episodic structure means each chapter allows the game to explore very different themes on a larger scale than Undertale, all while still being far more digestible than a bloated 3D AAA equivalent (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:lꦓooking at you, Final Fantasy 7 Re🅘birth). Chapter Two's Cyber City offe🏅rs more vibrant environments than Chapter One's Card Kingdom, while later chapters take the surprising approach of emulating the kind of pseudo-3D effects popular in the latter half of the 16-bit era. Once your party is sitting down playing a NES-style Zelda clone game within a game while your prerendered-CG host observes, you're past trying to fit Deltarune's influences into any neat category and just enjoying all the broad tapestry of references Fox is pulling together.

Speaking of themes, the catchy chiptune soundtrack is nothing short of incredible, from the battle t🐻heme to the main theme that's now permanently stuck in my head. As much as they're enjoyable on loop, some als🔯o evolve across chapters, giving a new twist and freshness that also fits with how the narrative develops.

At just over the halfway point, Deltarune has already eclipsed Undertale in length and scope. Even while it remains an unapologetically weird old-school pixelated JRPG, each chapter is a new canvas to stretch the meaning of a retro-insp🌸ired game, which doesn't have to conform to any rigid rules, style, or logic. The good news is we only have to wait until 2026 for Chapter 5, which is one mystery I'm glad to have resolved before I hop back online to pore o𓆉ver all the possibilities of where Toby Fox will take this epic tale next.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> It seems Lies of P is getting a debuff in🅘 the near future. Further support is planned for Neowiz's Soulslike, now thatܫ Overture is out in the world, and included among the updates is a reduction in difficulty, as it’s not quite balanced how the dev team would like.

Overtu𓆏re arrived by surprise last week, causing a flurry of renewed interest in Lies of P, which was first released in 2023. Over the last several days, Neowiz has been gathering suggestions, leading to a message from director Jiwon Choi.

"Among all the feedback, we are paying the closest attention to the combat experience," he says. "We identified areas that did not turn out quite aꦕs we intended. Therefore, we are reviewing v๊arious adjustments, including difficulty reduction."

Whatever rebalancing goes on, don't expect to see it in the coming days. Jiwon emphasizes how integral combat is to an experience such as Lies of P, thus any alterations wiꦕll be scrutinized heavily before getting rolled🐻 out.

Overture itಌself brought a significant difficulty curve, with even experienced players choosing to run away and avoid certain encounters because of the headache. A certain edge is expected for this kind of action-RPG, but it seems to be dialed up a little more than anyone wants.

The first major DLC for the game, Overture adds more plot and the usual smattering of enemies and a🌄reas to check out. Even the first area is getting and chatter on r/LiesofP, asܫ people wrestle with the horrors that have been summoned.

A direct sequel has been underway since late 2023, but there's no word on that just yet. From the looks of it, Neowiz has a few more ideas for the first ga🎐me before the next installment takes over.

If you're considering diving in, our guide to every Lies of P best build for all character types might prove vital.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Frosthaven, the board game, weighs over 35 lbs, hund✨reds of tokens and cards jam-packed inside a beautiful box. Frosthaven, the video game, which I got my mouse-cradling mitts on for its Steam Next Fest demo, weighs nothing at all. Because it's digital. As satisfying as hefting around 35 lbs of gaming is, feeling the cards, listening to the noise it makes as you shake it about it's, erm, more than a little intimidating to behold in person, and will take some serious learning until you get comfortable moving all the bits around.

What really sticks out to me is how much quicker it is to get to grips with Frosthaven as a video game – which is excellent as our impressions of Frosthaven's tablওetop version have been glowing, so the more people who get to experience it, the better. The board game comes from designer Isaac Childres, just as its predecessor Gloomhaven (which we also loved in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gloomhaven review). Frosthaven, like Gloomhaven, revolves around hex-based co-op RPG combat across multiple scenarios, throughout which you build up your central titular town. Our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest guide will show you how to find more demos, too!

Frost bites

It's just simpler to get up to speed with the b🅠asics hereไ on PC.

Where it can take a while to get to grips with some of Frosthaven's more unique twists on the simple premise with the tabletop board game, the nature of the Steam Next Fest demo ensures you have adequate tooltips and information to view at any time, all while you click and drag pieces and the camera around the small-yet-intricate maps. While all the complexity of Frosthaven's rules h😼ave been accurately re🐟plicated, it's just simpler to get up to speed with the basics here on PC.

It also helps that Frosthaven's UI is clearly inspired by some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best RPG games, information like turn order at the top and for your party along the side of the screen making Frosthaven feel like not too far of a departure from the likes of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3. At the same time, its ta🐷bletop roots are clear, with the small maps and hex-based grid clearly coming right from the board game. Even so, there's a lot of animation – this isn't an adaptation that feels stiffly combined to replicating the exact feeling of a board game even though the rules are intact.

Controlling up to four-party members at a time – it's up to you how you want to split them with other players – your characters have their own customizable deck of cards (and equipment which can add extra abilities or effects). Each card has both a top and bottom effect, as well as an initiative ranking. Every turn, players select two cards to play, picking both a top and bottom effect from across both cards, but only one from each (or can substitu🌌te a basic attack or movement option inste🃏ad). Buffing, moving, attacking, even manoeuvring to the right hex to scoop up loot – it's all in the cards.

It sounds simple at first, but cards can carry qu🍃ite complex effects that can take a little bit of time to learn. Do you want to take up a whole turn to activate buffs across both cards' top or bottom effects? Combine an enemy debuff effect with dishing out damage? Lay down a useful buff banner that'll power up a nearby ally's attacks to finish up a foe next turn? Choosing the best pair to play in a situation requires some serious brain power.

There's a lot of synergies not just between a character's own deck of cards, but how to combine those powers cross-party. Frosthaven, as a video game, makes the learning experience way faster by making sure you can visualize all these effects before using, and can't get things wrong (﷽even though you may wish your plays went a bit better – there's always next turn!).

Two players surround a monster in Frosthaven's first scenario in the demo

Further complicating your card management is a ticking clock dictated by the deck itself. As you play and discard, your card pool gets smaller – able to be refreshed tabletop RPG-style with either a short or long rest. But doing so means 'burning' cards for the encounter, permanently putting them off limits (lik🐲ewise, cards can be burned to negate damage in a pinch). What do you hold close, or what do you let yourself lose?

Frosthaven does, however, have some easier modes allowing you to negate the harshness of this rule or even give yourself more health – it's a neat way to incorporate house rules into a digital version of the board game. So far, as someone who likes a layer of strategy in my RPG encounters, Frosthaven certainly has me intrigued, and this demo has🐠 proved far easier for introducing me to the system than its exceedingly heavy boxed board game version.

, after which the developers will spend about a year🔥 releasing more content from the original board game, aiming to be feature complete by the time it has a full release.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> As someone who once had a Tumblr account, yes I've always wanted to play OFF. This quirky RPG Maker game first released in 2008, and has become a cult classic for a reason – bridging the gap between the likes of Mother and Earthbound on the SNES, and the off-kilter charms of Undertale and Delt🐈arune. Originally developed by Unproductive Fun Time (the joint project of Mortis Ghost and ACC), this very faithful remake/remaster comes from Mortis and Fangamer – and makes it easier than ever to play. Its very generous Steam Next Fest demo includes the whole first Zone of the game – the opening chapter that'll take a good hour or two to get through as you explore OFF's strange world.

OFF's tone is immediately, well, a bit off. Inputting my name, I take control of the Batter – a person wielding a baseball bat whose task is to 'purify' the world one Zone at a time. Even early on, OFF goes to great lengths to cram a crowbar into the fourth wall, making it clear that while the Batter is controlled by me, the player, we are separate entities. Driving this home is The Judge, a loquacious cat who elucidates the Batter's mission while on-boarding me with tips (and inspired Sans in Undertale). It's a great opening you can play for yourself now, and our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest guide can help you find more demos too.

Off beat

The bold block colors and low-poly aesthetic immediately remind me of Undertale tho♋ugh, of course, OFF is the game that was released first. Undertale creator – and the inspirations are clear as soon as you start playing.

What surprises me more is OFF's puzzle chops that begin to challenge me from early on. While the likes of Undertale and more of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best RPG games♔ often have some chin-strokers, OFF leverages its fairly simplistic systems to create some devious number puzzles. These often revolve around hitting blocks in the correct order by exploring and finding sequences of numbers. But they can also involve looking over what are essentially lore notes – one having the Batter peruse nearby posters stuck on a wall to learn more about Zone 1's history.

Combat too gets a lot out of its basic set-up. Don't expect anything as un🧸ique as Undertale here, but the ATB-style turn-based battles still have a lot of interesting twists. The Batter fights solo, but is able to recruit add-ons that operate as party members to dish out more damage. Likewise, a bizarre element system reflects the equally-strange worldbuilding – with metal, plastic, meat and more acting as elements. My favorite twist is simpler: the charging ATB-bar crackles with energy when charging a critical hit – letting you know you've scored extra damage before using it. It's a surprising tactical triumph. While exploration still features the original game's boxy ratios, fights are now widescreen –💃 feeling a bit more dynamic.

The Batter meets the shopkeeper in Zone 1 in OFF

Unfortunately, original composer ACC didn't want to use their work in a commercial project, so the original, iconic soundtrack has been redone – though with composers like Toby Fox at the helm justice has been done. He's responsible for a bunch of boss themes and also the normal battle music. It's a jazzy, electroswing number that tips the cap to AC✅C's stylings while also feeling like it wouldn't be out of place in Undertale, a neat mix.

This is a long demo, taking The Batter all through the first Zone – which includes multiple locations, a boss fight, and some very weird worldbuilding to uncover. Everyone you meet says strange things that hint at how messed up the world might be, and sometimes scenes cut to montages of old-timey (and presumably copyright free) illustrations that color the atmosphere. OFF simply has to be played to be believed. And now you can try the opening of this refresh for free – so don't put it off any longer like me. and Nintendo Switch on August 15, 2025.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Vampire RPG fans, take note: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Blood of Dawnwalker isn’t just another gloomy adventure through the shadows. According to creative direct꧃or Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the game’s narrative is set to break the mould, letting players shape their journey in ways that most RPGs only dream of.

, Tomaszkiewicz lifts the lid on how flexible the game’s story truly is. “We wanted to give players as much control over the narrative as possible, a clear objective, but many paths to a🌄chieve it”, he explains. That could mean forming unlikely alliances or missing entire factions altogether. “You can align with the human rebellion or finish the game without ever meeting them”, Tomaszkiewicz reveals, highlighting just how non-linear things can get.

At the heart of this approach is what the team calls a “narrative sandbox.” For Tomaszkiewicz and the developers at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Rebel Wolves, it’s about putting the player in the driver’s seat. “That to us is the unique strength of video games as a storyte♊lling medium: player agency. The way the game adapts to your actions,” he writes. In other words, your decisions aren’t cosmetic; they have a real impact, both on the world and your experience.

This freedom extends beyond dialogue choices and branching questlines. Even the main character’s nature as a vampire plays into how the story can unfold. “When losing health, Coen is at risk of losing control over his vampire nature, which can even lead to an involuntary draining of an NPC that you interact with, locking you out from some dialogue options or even questlines as his dark instincts take over”, To🅠maszkiewicz explains. In The Blood of Dawnwalker, actions and consequences aren’t always as simple as a choice on a dialogue wheel.

It’s a bold vision, promising a game where every playthrough could look completely differen🏅t, shaped by both big choices and the messy, unpredictable instincts of its lead character. For anyone hungry for a Vampire RPG that’s not afraid to take risks, The Blood of Dawnwalker look⛎s set to deliver something truly fresh in 2026.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> A new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 update has arrived, featuring a variety of new features as well as some long-requested changes – inc🌜luding the a𓆏bility to rematch Simon after defeating him, multiply enemy health, and more.

The official patch notes from developer Sandfall Interactive jus🐠t went live on , showing what's new and different in the beloved turn-based RPG. 1.3.0 first gives players the opportunity to take Simon on again after emerging victorious from what's arguably one of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's hardest challenges, in a change allowing fans to rematch the three-phase postgame boss that has come after oಞnline.

Story Mode players hoping for a more peaceful experience are eating good with this update, too, as it increases parry and dodge windows by a whopping 40% while reducing incoming damage by 10%. It's important to note that this only applies to🎀 Story Mode, which means fans who prefer a more challenging time don't need to worry about anything being too easy – in fact, they can crank their difficulty up x10♏0 if they so choose now.

That's because patch 1.3.0 contains some new challenge modifiers from Act 3 onward. With the ability to limit max pla🍰yer damage to 99,999 or 999,999 and multiply enemy HP by x2, x5, x10, x20, x50, or even x100, players can spice the game up to suit their own tastes. As a fan myself, I personally can't imagine granting my enemies 100 times more health, but I'm certain some combat sickos will do so – and probably prove successful afterward as well.

Other adjustments made to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 include bug fixes addressing some of the peskier problems flagged by players – 297 of them, to be precise. There are also a few handy localization tweaks and changes affecting in-game settings, like a couple of mouse and joystick sensitivity improvements, and the ability to manually rename save files, too. Patch 1.3.0 isn't the last of Sandfall's updates, either – "We continue!"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> At the tail end of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, fans got to see more of upcoming vampire RPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Blood of Dawnwalker – an RPG developers ꦏsay bo🅘asts true-to-history combat.

Speaking in a post-stream announcement on , Rebel Wolves' creative director, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, dives into the details regarding The Blood of Dawnwalker's combat system and how it works with protagonist Co🔯en. "Coen trained for years with his father, a grizzled war veteran, so during the day he wields a sword," explains the dev. "We studied medieval fighting styles and even have a few trained swordsmen on the team."

Tomaszkiewicz, who previously worked on beloved CD Projekt Red RPGs like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077, says these efforts are why combat feels "authentic" in The Blood of Dawnwalker: "The result is combat that feels authentic and grounded, yet approachable and fun." How does combat change for Coen depending on whether it's day or night in the game, though, as this cycle is part of what makes the title 💃so intriguing?

"As a human, he also learns how to use magic – raw, ritual-based, with dark, priꦦmordial origins," describes Tomaszkiewicz. "We're not going the high fantasy route with colorful explosions. Our spells are darker and grounded – tied to blood, heat, and air that seems to pulse and breathe. The visuals can be striking, but in a more visceral, eerie way. To cast a spell, you first have to literally open up your body to the occult by carving runes and becoming a living conduit. Magic flows through you."

Once the day draws to a close, combat takes a turn for Coen. "At night, though, these runes seal shut as your flesh regenerates. They fade, like old scars. Instead, your vampir♋ic nature awakens. You'll fight with claws, enhanced strength, supernatural agility, and dark powers available only after sunset. But these powers come at a cost: your humanity.♍" It sounds like the sort of day-to-night shift one would expect of a vampire, with some nuance.

"Coen's vampiric Blood Craving comes into play: a system that ties his health level and his hunger," the lead explains. "When losing health, Coen is at risk of losing control over his vampire nature, which can even lead to involuntary draining [of] an NPC that you interact with, locking you out from some dialogue options or even quest lines as his dark instincts take over." That balance between risk and reward is core to the RPG experience, and as an excited fan myself, I can't wait to experience it firsthand.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> The newest D&D game added to publisher Wizards of the Coast's roster is being led by former God of War anꦏd Star Wars Jedi director Stig Asmussen, and while its "action-adventure" focus is a significant departure from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3, still the talk of 🎃D&D games among many, Wizards says it isn't done with the crunchy CRPG space.

Speaking with at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, Wizards president 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查♏询:and former World of Warcraft veteran John Hight, clearly cognizant of the hunger for more Baldur's Gate,⭕ says a D&D game could be many different things, but "Don't get me wrong, we are going to do CRPGs that are going to be as serious as BG3."

With its part🐼nership with developer Giant Skull, led by Asmussen after he left Respawn following Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Wizards hopes to see a "manifestation" of D&D channeling some of the action greats.

After "50 years of [Dungeon Masters] coming together" to flesh out the world of D&D, creating "the things that form the dreams and the nightmares of people, from gelatinous cubes to owl bears," Hight says "it's really important that any manifestation of them in a game be as good as what's in our o🌺wn minds."

"That's a tall order. And I think about what Stig and Patrick Murphy did on God of War 3, taking that pantheon of both gods and th✱e crazy monsters from mythology and bringing them to life. It's l𓄧ike, wow, what if we could unleash them on D&D?"

In an announcement statement, Asmussen previously said Giant Skull's D&D game hopes to "🧸craft a rich new DUNGEONS & DRAGONS universe filled with immersive storytelling, heroic combat and exhilarating traversal that players will fully embrace."

He revisits those pillars – storytelling, combat, traversal – here. "We're experts at me♍lee combat, so that's something that John got🐻 to see and it translates very well [to D&D]," he tells Polygon.

Asmussen is looking to build on what𒅌 Star Wars Jedi established and demonstrated, acknowledging that "there's probably still legacy debt that's in the Jedi games from bad decisions that we made early on. Some of those bad decisions were based on momentum because we don't get stuck. We just want to keep on moving forward."

With this new start at a new studio, and working with a storied IP, there's space to move on from those missteps and make something better, he suggests, hinting at "a motion model that's so much faster now, so much more fluid." It sure sounds like we're still dealing with third-person character action, Asmussen's specialty, but through the lens of D&D weapons and warriors, there's huge potentiaꦐl for a range of experiences ther𓆉e.

A massive influx 🌌of players meant more people to discover bugs, so the developers of the game have already released multiple hotfixes on PC, wit🐠h patches for consoles coming soon.

In a the Undertale account posted the details of a hotfix for the game, which include a number of freezing and crashing issues, described in the least-spoilery ways possible like, "fixed a common c♓rash in a room with a lot of screens."

The patch also introduced a failsafe for when players play the rhythm game sections without having aud𓆉io input (not sure why you'd do that, but you do you I guess).

And, unfortunately, part of one hotfix noted that the patch "fixed a part where you can erroneously enter an empty room." As someone whoꦐ loves erroneously entering an empty room, I'm gutted the devs would take this away from us.

Since then, thꦿe team has r♑eleased but for the game over the weekend, with even more crashing and freezing issues targeted.

There's another notable part in the latest one that read🔴s: "stre🐼ngthened imagery while maintaining a scene's intended meaning." This is in reference to a scene in Chapter 4, where players had misinterpreted the meaning of a cut-to-black during the game's Snowgrave route.

In each of the patch notes posts, it's mentioned that these fixes will be coming to console versions as soon as possible, but due to the time it taꦿkes to get patches approved on console, the team is opting to get as many fixes into one patch as poss🌜ible.

Oh, and there have also been reports that the game , which prohibits the improper use of a red cross on a white background. This isn't the first time a game has done this, either, with and copping to thဣe same thing in previous update🎶s, among others.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> As澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 wraps up, fans of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Bethesda Game Studios are lamenting what never came during yesterday's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Xbox Games Showcase – news regarding 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Elder Scrolls 6.

A solid seven years have now passed since The Elder Scrolls 6 debuted with its short teaser trailer at E3 in 2018. Since then, little news about the upcoming RPG has surfaced – and no, passing references like the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:post-Oblivion R♏emastered mention from Todd How▨ard and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:NPC auction that raised $85,000 don't count. It 𒆙comes as no surprise, then, that we fans were expecting (or coping, really) to see the seemingly forsaken title at Summer Game Fest.

Did we, though? Nope! Anoth𒁃er year, another miss for Elder Scrolls fans – and we're making our voices heard online, it see🍌ms.

"13 years, seven months, and 27 days I've waited," writes a fellow disappointed player on , who seems to be off by a month in♋ their calculations, but it's been so long, who can blame them at this point?

"I was in elementary school when Skyrim came out, and my friend and I made a joke that we'd be adults when ES6 came out," comments another. "Wrapꦚping up college now, maybe Todd [Howard] will pull through."

from

Elsewhere, another post on sees a fan speculating about the possibility of a 2026-2028 release. "It still stings a bit that we didn't get anything about the game," they explain. "I can understand us not getting a trailer, but I would have liked a sit-down interview w🐽ith either Todd or Pete." A separate features even more upset voices, with players expressiꦬng how they're losing hope: "I am usually an optimist, but I feel like giving up."

There are countless replies echoing the same sentiment, and as a massive Elder Scrolls stan myself, I can't help but agree with them. Sure, we recently got 澳洲幸运5开奖号🐎码历史查询:The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but when will we get something new? <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> It turns out that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 could have ended quite differently, as one scrapped conclusion ജplanned to see Geralt set off on a "suicide mission" which was "kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2."

This was revealed by lead writer Marcin Blacha in a recent , who mentions that some of the "♑biggest changes" made to the game between its development and the final version were related to the titular Wild Hunt. Geralt was once planned to be "kind of like an insider," and "doing stuff pretending to be one of them."

The scrapped ending sounds particularly interesting, with Blacha upfront in saying tha𓄧t "Mass Effect 2 was a huge inspiration for the game." He continues: "Initially, we had an ending that was kind of inspired by Mass Effect 2… that moment when Geralt gathers a party and goes on a suicide mission.

"It was on a Skellige drakkar you were ♎sailing into a frozen sea, and you were supposed to fight the Wild Hunt on this drakkar."

In the end, CD Projekt Red "redesigned" the ending "a little bit," having inst📖ead "decided to make this more personal ending." Clearly, the idea wasn't scrapped in its entirety, with the whole boat on an icy sea setting carrying forth to the actual ending, when Geralt takes on the King of the Wild Hunt.

No game is without its scrapped ideas, and it makes you wonder in this case how many bits of content that got edited out of The Witcher 3 could make an appearance in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4. A recent Witcher 4 tech demo revealed that Manticores feature in the upcoming RPG, over 10 years since they were apparently cut from the last game, so t✨hat's just one example.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> During yesterday's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PC Gaming Show, GOG announced that it was launching a new initiative: One-click Mods. This will enable you to access "a curated selection of premium mods" that come packaged with the games they're made for. What's more is that Skyblivion, the mod remaking Oblivion in Skyrim's eng🌠ineܫ, will be launching on GOG too, just like Fallout: London.

"GOG has a great reputation, they are not as big as Steam but always put in mౠore time and effort than any other platform," Skyblivion project lead Kyle "Rebelzize" Rebel tells . "We are looking to get Skyblivion into as many hands as possible, and GOG will be a great partner to help make that possible. We will still try to self-distribute, but I doubt we can beat stable GOG servers."

Rebel says the Skyblivion team was "definitely inspired" by Fallout: London's release o𓆏n GOG. "Before [that], I had never thought of a creative solution like this."

Yesterday's show confirmed a 20🥂25 release date for the project, and Rebel says, "꧒We are working with GOG to ensure a stable rollout when the time comes." They're currently "working around the clock to the best of our abilities to make sure we make that release goal," and also trying to meet some stretch goals.

"Having said that, until Skyblivion is available to download for every♑one, I wil🅘l enjoy no relief."

A GOG spokesperson tells Rock Paper Shotgun, "Our partnership with Team FOLON, creators of the amazing Fallout: London experience, paved the way forward, underlining that we, as a platform, had a unique role in the gaming industry, allowing us to provide very unique solutions to very unique problems. Reaching out to th𓃲e Skyblivion team felt like an obvious next step."

GOG positions itself as a bastion of game preservation. Owned by Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt 🀅Red, it provides DRM-free games. Onc🌺e you buy a game on the storefront and download it, you own it forever.

It's launching the One-click🌊 Mods initiative because of the belief that "mods are an essential part of video game preservation." Often, mods go where developers won't, making older games more playable on modern consoles.

"As for the steps required to play, we're still working on them; however, it is very likely that we would propose two options: if you own the base game on GOG, you will only need to add the one-click version of the mod to your account, press install a💜nd... just play," explains the GOG spokesperson. "If you don’t, there will be a few additional steps, but we will do our best to make it as simple as possible."

Luckily, the not-so-surprising release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Oblivion Remastered hasn't impacted Skyblivion. "As for the release of Oblivion Remastered, its success only underlines how eager the gaming community is to experience classic games with a fresh touch, and we believe they’ll be ve💃ry pleasဣed with Skyblivion as well," assures GOG.

While you wait for Skyblivion, check out everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2025.

Unsurprisingly, longtime fans are excited to play the classic sequel again. A recent Reddit highlighting the Enhanced Edition proves as much, with one commenter exclaiming they've "been waiting for this." Seeing as the original Neverwinter Nights released in 2006, that checks out. Another dubs Mask of the Betrayer "easily one of the best RPG campaigns you can play," that's "absolutely up there with games like Planescape and Disco Elysiu🌠m."

There's plenty more in store for Dungeons & Dragons stans, too. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios is cooking up its own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"two very ambitious RPGs" now, with one of the mysterious projects having been 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:codenamed Excalibur – potentially pointing to an Arthurian game of sorts. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> All eyes from the Starfield community were on this year's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, hoping for some sort of an update on what's coming to the space RPG. Alas, we didn't get a single peep about🦂 the next DLC in Bethesda's newest IP over the entire two hour livestream, leading to a h🐬uge wave of disappointment among the playerbase.

An avalanche of pos🍎ts on the Starfield subreddit began as soon as the stream finished, despairing at the lack of a roadmap. Without even a suggestion of more DLC arriving in the near future, people are starting to think the studio’s priorities are elsewhere.

"What a joke," starts . "Unf𓂃ortunately Bethesda doesn't seem ওto care." This sentiment carried through to several others. "After so much time of silence, the game looks so dead now, it's sad," emphatically states.

One goes so far as to thank modders for expanding Starfield in lieu of what's starting to feel like developer apathy. "Thank you to all th🎃e modd🥃ers out there who have kept the game on life support. I fear, though, we're getting dangerously close to the heart monitor flatlining," they state.

An at Bethesda’s track record demonstrates why players are so forlorn. In the past, the company's major g🍸ames have gotten up to 🌼five full-on DLC packs within the first year of release. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Fallout 4 were all well supported in the first 18 months of their availability.

Meanwhile, Starfield has gotten a single substantial dose of downloadable content in the form of Shattered Space, which came out in September 2024, over a year after launch. A further DLC expansion hasn't been formally announced, but director T꧙odd Howard previously that "there will be another one," and hinted that Bethesda would be "more or less" aiming for annua🌜l expansions for "hopefully a very long time."

Without a release window, however, it's looking like the next DLC will almost certainly arrive 𝔍over two years 🦄from when people started playing the spacefaring open-world adventure.

There’s been some rationalizing, with it being brought up that Howard has mentioned before he wants to resist announcing anything until there's something tangible to show. Having now sat through seven years✨ of questions about The Elder Scrolls 6, he probably wants to avoid doing so for anything else on the slate.

Still, it's worrying, since Starfield hasn't been the groundbreaking new chapter anyone really hoped or thought it would be. Marketing emails raised eyebrows about the Xbox livestream, creating what would become false hope for on♊lookers.

It doesn't help that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong, the long-gestating Metroidvania sequel, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:got a bit of news after years of pretty much nothing, rubbing sa๊lt in the wound. Some worry has lingered over how much support Starfield will get overall compared to the surer bets in Bethesda's pipeline, and the silence not providing any relief.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 is coming this year, October 29, and it's adding a whole host of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:weird and wonderful perks so that yoꦡu can roleplay as a seria🐎l killer or someone with bad knees.

Bad knees is an in-game flaw that actually made me laugh out loud when it was described during The Outer Worlds 2 direct at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest. It allows you tꦆo move faster, but the drawback is when you go from crouching to standing, "your knees are gonna make a loud popping noise that makes it so that, well, everyo⛎ne around you is gonna hear you."

If, like me, you're on the wrong side of 30, you likely know at least one person whose knees do tﷺhis – chances are, th🐻at person is you. It's actually a great roleplay quirk for a stealth character.

All that crouch walking must play havoc with your joints – Red Dead Redemption 2 actor Roger Clark did say the hardest part of filming for the game was all the squatting: "three days later my thighs were absolutely killing me."

One very cool and slightly cruel perk is serial killer. If you choose it, there's a chance every human you kill will drop a heart, which you 🅘can collect to get a permanent boost to your health. If you kill a human who "wasn't hostile" to you, there's a 100% chance of the drop.

I'm not sure if this means stealth kills guarantee hearts or you have to kill innocent NPCs, but either way, it's an interesting reward for being a murde🍰rer, and another great boon for stealth players; if you do get caught, that extra health will stop you getting put down too quickꦺly.

The strangest and most unique flaw revealed so far is sungazer. Quite literally what it sounds like, your character just loves to s♔tare at the sun, and that has permanently damaged their vision.

The game will look hazy, and ranged weapon spread will be increased by 100%, making you very inaccurate. It "makes the game pretty unplayable if yo🔯u happen🗹 to choose that," says one developer.

While you wait for The Outer Worlds 2 to come out, check out all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Xbox games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> After the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase 2025 live presentation, we got a deep-dive on some of the publisher's biggest upcoming games, including Obsidian's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2. One segment zeroed in on "Choice & Reactivity" in the expanded RPG, and we were treated to a few of the backgrounds available for our cust✃om characters. One of them is the Roustabout, a wrongly glorified loser and my new favorite.

Instead of a "blank slate" stranger, explains game directꦰor Brandon Adler, The Outer Worlds 2 starts you as an Earth Directorate agent. "You can think of them as like space cowboys or space sky marshals," he says. "They're the good guys that go into places and kind of fix everything that's wrong."

What kind of agent you are is up to you. This is where backgrounds come in. Your back♑ground decides "who you were prior to joining the Earth Directorate," so says the in-game menu, shaping your character's history and influencing some interactions and conversations in the rest of your playthrough.

We saw a few backgrounds today. Ex-Convict, Gambler, Lawbriꦛnger, Professor, Renegade, and Roustabout.

Lawbringer is about what it sounds like: you survived a tough upbringing and want to bring order to the colonies as a champion of the people. The 💮Professor has a background in archaeology 💦and is no stranger to "the more unsavory elements of artifact trafficking." As a Renegade, you're a bit of a nomadic outlaw, kinda-sorta on the run from old employers and hiding out under the Earth Directorate umbrella.

And then we have the Roustabout. "You'ꦫre not quite sure what happened," its background description begins. "You simply wanted to find a job that used your particular set of skills. Which would be 'none.' Yet, one accidental death of a well-known villain later, you're now known as a gunslinging Earth Directorate agent not to be trifled with. You often find yourself wondering if this 'Earth Directorate' has any good cashier openings."

This, folks, is one of my favorite tropes. The over-hyped hero who's inwardly an anxious, average-at-best, probably panicking dude unsure why these expectations have been heaped upon him and even less sure how to live up to them. The Outer Worlds 2 strikes me as a deeply funny game so far, I trust Obsidian to guide that tone well, and the Roustabout sounds like a perfect match for the game's universe. I'm dreaming of an agent stumbling and bumbling his way to victory through inordinately high Luck and virtually nothing else, slowly develoꦅping actual skills that may one day turn him into the hero he's thought to be, and it sounds like a great time.

The Outer Worlds 2 gets an October release date as Obsidian opens pre-orders and confirms that 2 story expansions are on their way.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> I was pretty middling on The Outer Worlds, but now that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 has "basically borrowed" one of the best🌼 bits of Fallout: New Vegas, I'm already planning my sneaky kil🦂ling spree across the galaxy.

During the Outer Worlds 2 Direct immediately following the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Game Showcase, Obsidian did very little to fight the 'Fallout in space' label that was applied to the first game. Of course, as the developers of Fallout: New Vegas, that's notꩲ something Obs♍idian needs to fight, but this time, it seems to be leaning even further into the comparison.

That's thanks to its new take on Perks. Game director Brian Adler explained that "if anybody's played Fallout: New Vegas, they'll be very familiar with the ဣPerks system. We basically b♒orrowed that, but went even grander."

The Outer Worlds 2, Adler says, will have even more Perks than New Vegas did, suggesting that there'll be well in excess of 100 ways in which you𒊎 can change up your character's approach. The team at Obsidian outlined a few of them, and the focus on some stealthy, assassination-y improvements is definitely speaking to me.

For example, there's the simply-named 'Assassin' perk, which grants a boost of speed if you get a stealth kill, making it easier to chain together multiple takedowns, or to slip into the shadows. There's also a slightly more morbid Serial Killer perk, which lets you steal the hearts from non-aggressive characters you slay, using these 'trophies' to🐷 bolster your health.

And while these are bonuses, Obsidian's allowing you to lock in a few Flaws, too. I fancy a challenge, and am now a man in my 30s, so I feel like the 'Bad Knees' flaw - which creates a loud popping noise when your character comes out of a crouch - will add a certain realism to my Outer Worlds 2 playthrough. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码🐓历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 is coming in October, so ✅there's not long to wait to try out its New Vegas-style Perk system for yourself🌜.

Never miss an announcement with our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed that The Outer Worlds 2 release date 🦹is October 29, 2025. The news came at the Xbox Games Showcase, where the upcoming RPG was given a new trailer – a palate cleanser before the main course (the main course, in this poorly constructed analogy, being the dedicated Outer🅠 Worlds 2 showcase, which will run once the main showcase has concluded).

The release date means that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2 will land almost six years to the day that its predecessor introduced us to Obsidian's take on sci-fi RPGs. The studio has put that time to great use, drastically advancing the complexity of the underlying systems and pushing more choice than ever before into com♎bat and conversations.

The Outer Worlds 2 looks set to be one of the must-play upcoming Xbox Series X games of 2025, but it won't be a platform exclusive. Despꦆite Obsidian being a part of the Xbox Game Studios ecosystem, the publisher has already confirmed that the game will launch day-and-date on PS5 and PC (via Battle.net, Xbox, and Steam). It'll also support Xbox Play Anywhere (meaning you can pick up your progress across PC and Xbox console at no additional cost) and land into Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The Outer Worlds 2 pre-orders are open now, with the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Obsidian game also receiving a premium edition which includes a digital game download, a 'Corporate Appreciation Prize' cosmetics pa𒐪ck, a 'Commander Zane's Battle Pack', and ꧟a DLC pass for two incoming story expansions.

Xbox Games Showcase 2025 needs to build on Microsoft's momentum, but it may need to go beyond The Outer Worlds 2 to pull it off.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> With the release of Deltarune's latest chapters this past week – chapters three ꦏand four finally joining the fold – everyone and their mother appears to be playing Toby Fox's popular RPG. That includes streamers, of course, and it seems that those who use YouTube as their platform of choice are running into a problem that Fox himself has now had to address: copy🍷right strikes.

YouTube's copyright strikes are an ongoing issue, as the Google-owned platform has an automated system that is extremely hard to dispute once it's made its verdict. Fox is still encouraging streamers to fight the good fig꧅ht, however, as the music in his beloved game is free to use.

According to Fox, "the music has so many streams it hit a threshold for inꦚcreased copyright strike aggression. Not kidding."

He pleads with YouTube streamers, "PLEASE dispute these claims and they should be resolved." Fox isn't the firs꧅t indie dev to find his internationally acclaimed 🔯game to unfairly affect streamers because of its sick in-game music.

Back in 2020, not long after Stardew Valley's 1.5 update,🌺 developer Eric Barone – known for his moniker "ConcernedApe" – that any copyright claims made due to the streaming of his game should be brought up to him, as he is the sole owner to the rights of his farming game's music.

"If you're aware of anyone ever getting 'flagged' for using Stardew music please let me know" was Baro🧔ne's own plea to players back then, particularly pertaining to 𝕴Twitch streamers at the time.

The fact that Barone requested players to report these flags to himself is something Fox may want to consider, as the appeals process on YouTube can feel like talking to a brick wall. According to of their copyright claims process, more than a billion content ID claims have been made by their automated detection system between Jul🦩y 2023 and December 2023 – slightly dated information, but you get the gist – and less than 1% of those claims have been disputed.

Well, yes. That's how math works;ꦓ provide a number as big as "more than one billion" and you're most likely going to end up with juxtaposing percentage in the single digits range. Rounding with 1%, that gets you 10 million peop𝔉le disputing those claims – the population size of several major cities. Not exactly something to pat yourself on the back for.

Now that I've done actual math for this, I think it's safe to say that the only thing that's going to help out the hundreds, if not thousands, of YouTube streamers get🌌ting slapped with copyright claims for both Undertale and Deltarune, is Toby Fox himself publicly calling it out. YouTube doesn't want to make cool guy Toby Fox mad; that's just a bad look.

"I wish there was some way to not have theseꦰ claims," Fox says. "However, YouTube's music system forces their existence. And if I try to remove my rights to the music from the system, bad actors will pretend that they own it to claim videos and make money."

So, for any YouTub🐭e streamers out there, if you're in line for a copyright claim appeal, STAY IN LINE.

After breaking Steam, Deltarune dev Toby Fox appears to aim to break the internet: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure to load up your save file one more time afterwards"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> One thing gamers love is seeing the voice of a character play their own game. Actor Jennifer English recently streamed herself playing her most recent credit, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The extremely French 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:JRPG-inspired title has garnered immense attention and popularity for its gameplay and story, but English decided to focus on someth❀ing a bit different at the start of her playthrough.

English, t澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:he voice of Maelle, and her partner, Aliona Baranova, streamed their activities on , where they spent quite a bit of time in the very first area of the game. During the prologue, players will find themselves in a plaza fuꦐll of people preparing for the gommage, a sad parting that the community attempts to soften through festivities, even accommodating those saying farewell to their lovers in the... closest way.

English and Baranova ⛄had searched "for ages" for the "sex hotel" known as the Life Enjoyer. At this time, you can play as either Gustav or Sophie, and they chose to take control of the latter. They approached the hotel🐻 and began the surprisingly lengthy interaction.

First, it starts with a series of muffled – but clearly passionate – grunts. "Filthy rascals," Baranova jokingly said. Then, Sophie 🎉herself provides some commentary: "Some prefer more… intimate goodbyes."

Now, with most object interactions in Clair Obscur, players will get the same commentary orᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ description if they examine or use it again. For this particular interaction, hoܫwever, there's a humorous little Easter egg that English and Baranova were determined to bring out.

After clicking on the hotel 30 times, rathe🎐r than sex noises, a muffled voice will come through from one of the hotel patrons.

Scolding the player, the hotel guest says: "Come on you've bee⛦n listening for too long!" Both English and Baranova got a kick out of this, laughing and clapping, finding the time-consuming endeavor thoroughly worth it.

"It꧅ made things more exciting at first but now🐬 it's awkward!" the guest adds.

For anyone looking for a laugh in arg🍌uably one o💧f the most depressing games of the year, be sure to search for this hotel before it all goes to hell in a handbasket.

In a remarkably similar situation in 2023, after her performance as Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate 3, 澳洲幸运ꦡ5开奖号码历史查询:En✱glish could barely keep it together as she watched Baranova sleep with Lae'zel, Shadowhe♚art's RPG nemesis.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 developer 𓆉Sandfall Interactive says it's recently become aware of "discussions online" regarding the RPG and its creators' values – discussio༒ns the studio wants to put to rest for good.

The team reveals as much in a new , referencing the conversations devs have caught wind of online. "We've noticed discussions online concerning us and our values, so we want to make this ꩵabsolutely clear," writes Sandfall, explaining that its RPG was developed by folks from all walks of life – and hate isn't tolerated. "Expedition 33 was created with respect and tolerance by teams and partners from diverse backgrounds♛, cultures, and perspectives."

Sandfall concludes with a simple message, pleading with fans not to "spread hate" with Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in mind: "Our game was crafted with love. Please don't weaponise it to🌠 spread hate." Replies largely see players rallying in support of the studio, with one thanking the team for "making an amazing piece of art," and another stating they can't "recommend this game enough" as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is "a masterpiece."

Fans are also commenting in agreement with Sandfall's words, with a player implying that hatred of any sort clearly goes against the message in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. "Anybody who thought nationalism or bigotry was the point of the game must have ignored every conversation in Lumière and then uninstalled the game before disembarᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚking," they say, going on to express support for the Sandfall devs themselves. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Amid a flurry of news about high-profile releases like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Silent Hill f, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Yotei, and Nioh 3 during yesterday's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play, a genuinely stunning pir🔯ate RPG called Sea of Remnants made its debut, and I can't stop thinking about it.

Sea of Remnants is a curious li'l thing. It's billed as "a visually rich ocean adventure ♎RPG" and a "sensory feast" with an aeꦺsthetic defined by "sharp-edged comic book flair, vibrant graffiti energy, and absurdist glitch aesthetics."

You play as a "puppetfolk sailor seeking lost memories," and you'll be able to recruit more than 300 (?!) companions across an open world map crawling with mermaids, giant crabs, flying sea serpent🌱s, as well as normal pirate adversaries like, you know, other pirates. You know what, I'm going to stop trying to describe this oddity of a game and just let you wa🍎tch the trailer, because it really is something else.

Behold, Sea of Remnants:

There's ෴ for this game with plenty of detailed descriptions, yet I still don't feel like it's really been described to me.

Th♔e devs say it's an open-world turn-based RPG, which is fine, but it's also a free-to-play, mobile-friendly (iOS and Android) game developed by Identity V studio Joker and published by NetEase. How is it being monetized? There's no mention of multiplayer, so I'd be surprised if there's a store selling junk like loot boxes.

Wait, I think I smell something. Did you catch that little gambling animation around the in the trailer? Is this a gacha game? Loot boxes by another name? That sure would explain the unfathomable 300+ companions, and it would also suit 🍸NetEase's involvement. Who knows, but the more I read about this game the more confused I become.

I really have no idea if this game will end up being any good, but it is highlyꦇ in꧙triguing, like alternate universe Sea of Thieves. NetEase doesn't exactly have the most pristine reputation for post-launch support, but I'm a big fan of Identity V, Sea of Remnants' visual style, and pirate games in general, so I'll be keeping a close eye on this one.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best RPGs you can play right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Since the release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Elder Scrolls ℱIV: Oblivion Rema💖stered in April, many new players have been flocking to the classic RPG, diving into the land of Cyrodiil for the fiဣrst time. This means a whole new generation of gamers get to explore the game's secrets and vast world. It also means some weird stuff is confusing folks all over again.

Communities collided when, recently, one player found something that even some classic players had never seen before: an ꦉOblivion gate within an Oblivio♓n gate.

At first, this could be mistaken for a bug. Oblivion is beloved for its quirkiness, which includes some lessꦚ-than polished features and even game-breaking bugs. Veteran players were worried that the remaster would have🐻 removed all of the jankiness that gives the game its charm, but were happy to find that everything was in – and out of – place.

When it comes to Oblivion gate inception, however, this is actually something Bethesda intentionally de⛦signed.

When Redditor PerformanceOk9933 walked through an Oblivion gate and 🦩found a second one facing them in the distance, they couldn't believe it. Taking to the , and quickly earning over 11,000 upvotes, they said, "I just entered this gate to oblivion, it's behind me. I am moving along and found ANOTHER gate to oblivion straigꦉht in front of me. I've never seen that before has anyone else?"

Random Oblivion worlds five and six (there are only seven, despite many more gates) actually both feature this oddity; each gate will provide players with an entirely separate exit to somewhere else in the map. Th🐓ese gates also act as their own separate entrances to these particular Planes of Oblivion from the Cyrodiil map, rather than being a one-way portal.

While one player informed PerformanceOk9933 of this fringe information,🌠 others were just as shocked. "Dude what the fuck? I've played this game for 20 years [...] Never r♈ealized this," one classic player commented.

Funnily enough, new comments from similarly bewildered players . "Thღis is the newest thread on this I could find... 19 years of playing Oblivion and the first time I encounter this is in the remꦿaster," said one player 26 days ago.

"Bringing this post back from the dead because I just experienced my first connected♚ gate EVER in the remaster,"♑ concurs another.

Others jokingly asked if this extra gate led them to Elder Scrolls 6 or, perhaps, a familiar cart in Skyrim. Nearly 20 years on, there'🌃s still plenty left for plenty of folks to discover in Oblivion.

No, you aren't imagining things, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:update 2.1 from December 2023 was supposed to be the last one, and then 2.2 from this past December was really supposed to be the end, and now in June 2025 – even as all of its developers have moved on to other projects - Cybeꦍrpunk 2077 is getting yet another update. And this time, CDPR isn't even fooling itself by calling i🤪t the final update, potentially indicating more to come.

"We're not done yet! Stay🥂 tuned for more info about the nex🌞t Cyberpunk 2077 update coming later this month," said CDPR global community director Marcin Momot . "We'll start spilling the beans closer to the release of patch 2.3 (that's its name), so for now, we ask for a bit more patience. Let the team cook!"

With Cyberpunk 2077 landing on Switch 2 today, 澳洲幸运5开ও奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2 officially in pre-prod♎uction, and a handful of other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming CDPR games in the works, I'm amazed the studio still ha⛎s the bandwidth to update a five-year-old game just for the hell of it.

Alas, "Yes, 2.3 for #Cyberpunk2077 is coming, we have been cooking for you in secret for a bit,♕" . "As usual, I'm taking care of the updateဣ personally and we will communicate more, when it's ready."

We don't havಌe any details about Cyber𝔍punk 2077's update 2.3 just yet, but with it launching sometime this month, I'm thinking it won't be long before we learn more.

The Witcher 4 devs are inspired by RPGs like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3, but "definitely are not going to make a game like Larian did"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> A Baldur's Gate 3 fan has lost an Honour Mode run they spent over 50 hours on 🐷not to a 🦩demanding boss or anything like that, but a wee bit of rain.

The critically acclaimed RPG 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 has had many updates – with its final one having been released🌃 this🐻 past April – that have brought many new features and challenges to the game. One of the early additions was the unforgiving game mode known as Honour Mode, released with Patch 5 back in November 2023.

Honour Mode offers players a simple, yet grueling challen⭕ge: beat the game without dying, or forfeit. Since its introduction to the game, it remains the subject of the second rarest achievement for Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam, with only 2.5% of players having achieved this feat globally.

Despite its elusive nature, that doesn't stop players from engag𝓀ing in the somewhat masochistic endeavor. One particular⛄ player, however, shared how their Honour Mode run came to a devastating end in a way that would undoubtedly cause many players to throw their PC out a window.

Redditor MmmYesCheesyBoi shared in the their tale of disaster: a 50-hour Honour Mode🏅 run ruined by a small oversight. During the battle against Ansur – an absolute tank💯 of a dragon, mind you – the player made one critical error that they didn't even notice at first.

Explaining their fight strategy before the moment of demise, Karlach had managed to get Ansur down to 1 HP, but this triggered the dragon to gain another 100 HP and caused a Stormheart Nova. The Stormheart Nova causes the entire AOE to get hit with lightning. With everyone else's actions exhausted for the turn and Karlach being the heavy-hitter, the player gave her an Elixir of Lightning Resistance, and figured with ꧟97 HP left, she would make it out of the attack okay.

Well, MmmYesCheesyBoi failed toꦚ take into account one thing: Karlach was wet. In Honour Mode, the rain during Ansur's fight isn't cosmetic like it is in other difficulties, and has tangible effects. This meant Karlach was covered in a conduit for electricity and while the elixir grants resist꧃ance to lightning and protects from being shocked, electrocuted, or jolted, the wet status makes the player vulnerable to lightning.

That wet status had unknowingly sealed the player's fat🔴e, the elixir not powerful enough to counteract the wet status effect, and the rest of the party's HP was low enough that the attack would kill them regardless of extra protections. When MmmYesCheesyBoi was met with the dreaded Game Over screen, they were initially confused. Once they realized their mistake, however, they took to Reddit to lament the tragedy, and stated, "Safe to say I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight."

A devastating mistake that future Honour Mode hopefuls should take into account. Baldur's Gate 3's H🐈onour Mode isn't for the faint of heart, and future players looking to try their hand should remember that water is far deadlier than it appears.

Baldur's Gate 3 dev says it's "too early to tell" if Larian's next RPG will be a new Divinity game

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Epic Games' recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:State of Unreal 2025 showcase saw 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:CD Projekt Red unveil more of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4 and its features in a new tech dem🌸o – and while some of the new RPG's elements may be reminiscent of past genre gems, developers are mostly keeping to their own niche.

CD Projekt Red explains some of what it does, however, look for in other studios' titles for inspiration to in an interview, starting with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. "I love Kingdom Come because of the realism and the feeling, the sense of humor," admits co-CEO Adam Badowsk🦄i. The more systems-heavy and simulation-aligned aspects of the RPG are areas CD Projekt Red pays the most attention to, as ꦚthey might translate well into The Witcher 4.

"The Kingdom Come kind of simulation, it's great," continues the lead. "There are so many options, you can change the world, it's super great. And we would like to keep that, we'd like to follow this trend as well. So these are our next steps for sure, and it's kind of a similar challenge to what we have in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 because of the open world and storytelling here, freedom of choices." Nailing Kingdom Come's "kind of sꦕimulation" isn't easy, though.

"But at the same time, we would like to build very fleshy, very well-motivated characters. So it's kind of in contradiction from time to time. That's a great design challenge." As for other beloved recent RPGs, like Larian Studios' 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3, Badowski explains the inspiration drawn by CD Projekt Red from them hits a bit differently – after all, the turn-based style doesn't exactly fit well into the team's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:open-world "niche" of games like The Witcher 4.

"In Larian's case, it's turn-based, so it's a different kind of game, and the way you interact with char🎶acters is totally different," he says. "We like to fully build the characters, understand the past and the future of the characters' motivatio♍n. That's why it takes so much time. [In Baldur's Gate 3] there are great characters as well, but sometimes your choices, because there's freedom of choice in Larian's work, it pushes you to use different tricks than ours."

That doesn't mean CD Projekt Red doesn't ever admire Larian's work, however: "I think we observe each othe🌳r, and there are not that many games like that, so that's natural, yeah, and we see how players react, how fans react to those tactics." Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski 🦩adds: "I think we're still more in the, you know, we're a big open world, but a lot of what Baldur's Gate 3 showed was an inspiration, and to be honest, there's no shame in that."

It's not strange for devs to explore fellow devs' work, even if it differs a bit, as Nowakowski details. "I think everybody who launches games nowadays is looking back on what was done before, and is looking at what worked and what was great and how and if they can fit it into whatever ♉they are doing." CD Projekt Red will, for the most part, stick to its own past games for the bulk of its inspiration while developing new titles, though.

"So, for sure, there was a lot of inspiration in what BG3 did, but I think we're still more sticking to what was The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk, even if we don't want to just make another game like that, just with better graphics," as Nowakowski says – but it'll all be bigger and better. "We do want to innovate in terms of what's available in terms of gameplay and so on. I hope when the ꧂time comes, that's going to become clear for the fans as well."

Concluding CD Projekt Red's thoughts on inspiration drawn from Baldur's Gate 3 and the like, Nowakowski clarifies his and Badowski's words so far: "It's a bit of an unclear answer, but to make it more clear, we definitely are not going to make a game like Larian did. That's the kind of game they can make. But a lot of stuff with how the characters can interact with the world and what it does was for sure some inspiration to us."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Even without skyscrapers, light pollution, and the near constant blare of lewd TV ads, the liveliness of the Kovirian marketplace in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4's Unreal澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: tech demo taps into the environmental buzz of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077. So much so that, after watching YouTube clips of players taking Geralt out for light strolls around some of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3's most bustling h♕aunts – and here, specifically – I'm struck by the almost eerie silence✤ in comparison.

Maybe it's the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia, but I never noticed how quiet The Witcher 3 can be. Soft footsteps and the odd NPC bark aside, it seems these thriving townships suffer from a serious lack of actual thriving. Sure, it was (and still is) one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best RPGs for a reason, but with The Witcher 3 having turned 10 this year, it's clear that CD Projekt Red has learned a lot of lessons since then. Specifically, around how to craf𒁃t an environment – and the tech demo has me hyped for Ciri to get a taste of Night City's buzz

Night and day cities

Cyberpunk 2077 photomode screenshot of V posing on a bridge near Jigjig Street in Japantown, Night City

(Image credit: CD Projekt Red )

As much as I love the "city of dreams,", it took the developer almost four years-post launch to achieve Cyb🐎erpunk 2077's potential.

Today, Night City is as immersive of a video game metropolis as you can get. Hundreds of NPCs crowd the streets from Heywood to Japantown and beyond, the roads teem with cars of all shapes, sizes, and engine, and sound is pretty much everywhere.

You can almost smell cigarette smoke through the screen, hazy and thick in the early morning air as a nightclub's rhythmic bass keeps the party going, or taste the oily scopdog being wolfed down by a nearby Tyger Claw seconღds before getting shoulder-chucked by a dude in leop🐻ard-print hotpants. This thoroughly lived-in vibe is what makes Cyberpunk such an exciting place to escape to in a video game, and sadly, it's something we just did not get in The Witcher 3.

In the videos linked above, I was surprised to see how much I'd disregarded the lack of urban business in CD Projekt Red's most iconic RPG. One of them sees an NPC drinking silently and repetitively from a flask of wine, rooted to the spot, while a passing woman bemoans her husband's adulterous liaisons, all whi♍le Ger꧃alt simply walks past them like a ghost. Suddenly, a child comes running up beside him, causing a collision issue with the striding witcher as her character model seems to reverberate off Geralt's for a moment before coming unstuck and continuing on her travels.

In hindsight, the lack of bustle makes these cities feel a bit,꧙ ♎well, dead. Thankfully, The Witcher 4 looks to change that.

Leaps and boundaries

It's a teౠstament to the studio's immense growth...

This t💛ime around, bringing Night City's lively urban environments to The Witcher ꦜ4 seems paramount to CD Projekt Red. It's part of the studio's mission to deliver "the most ambitious, immersive Witcher game ever," harnessing the power of Unreal Engine 5.6 to do so.

In the short clip seen in the tech demo where Ciri walks around a marketplace in Kovir, that power is already evident – as are flavors of Night City's vitality. A tavern keeper is seen throwing an unruly patron out into the streets in what looks like a scripted environmental encounter, triggered by the player's proximity to a certain location. This reminds me of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 quest Don't Lose Your Mind, which kicks in only when observi🌠ng a car crash while driving around Corpo Plaza's roundabout.

Not only that, the environmental noise i👍s far more realistic. It's only an in-engine demo to showcase the technology, with an on-screen warning indica𓆉ting that it's "not actual gameplay," but hearing fully-scripted NPC conversations happening while Ciri waltzes past is a far cry from the near deathly silence of towns in The Witcher.

It's too early to say for sure, but this small slice of progress tells me that CD Projekt Red is taking innovation seriously. With plenty of lessons learned through Cyberpunk 2077 and DLC Phantom Liberty, its design philosophy is a testament to the studio's immense growth, reminding us why The Witcher 4 is one of the most exciting 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games on the horizon. Let's hope we get eyes on some actual game footage soon to see if it holds up.

There's plenty more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming PS5 games on the way besides The Witcher 4... though I'll admit, it's still my most wanted

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 completely took over the gaming world back in 2023. It garnered many, many awards for developer Larian and ignited a newfound interest in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dungeons and Dragons. But, that 3 at thꦓe end, that means there are two other games, right? Well noticed, it does, and their remasters are now available on Game Pass. So, now you have to play them.

The first Baldur's Gate came out in 1998 and was developed by BioWare, the studio behind legendary RPGs 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mass Effect and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Age. At the time, it was beloved by critics a🎐nd sold extremely well.

The sequel, Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, came out just under two years later, in 2000. Remember the days when we didn't have to wait over a decade for sequels? How I miss those times. Baldur's Gate 2 also sold and reviewed wel𝓡l.

Both games, like Baldur's Gate 3, are top-down isometric RPGs. The first was remastered in 2012 and the second in 2013. A loཧt of the original gameplay is the same, but quality of life features such as cross-play for the multiplayer have been added.

The remasters both include more modern UIs, higher resolution graphics, and widescreen support, so you don't have to play in a squarꩲe window. The first remaster also added classes, subraces, and class kits that were in the original Baldur's Gate 2.

All in all, these are a great way to play a more modern version of some absolute CRPG classics. Baldur's Gate 3 is never coming to Game Pass because "there's a fair price to be paid" for "a big game" like this, but at least you can try the original two for no extra cost, over a year since their arrival on the subscription 😼service appeared to leak for a second time.

You can find them on Game Pass, .

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Well, it finally happened: Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 released, and fans lost their minds. Really; the Steam store page crashed due to a whopping 12,865♛% increase in players compared to Undertaleಌ's release day. Now, indie d✨ev Toby Fox is sending players who have already blasted through the RPG back to their save files.

Deltarune's release isn't quite new; Chapter 1 and 2 have been available as free demos since October 2018 and September 2021, respectively. During the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct back in April, eager fans finally received news of a release date for the latest chapters, as the game would be included as a day-one release for the console. Despite its inclusion as one of the first 🏅playable games on the new console, PC gamers ran to Steam in droves reaching an all-time player peak of 133,930.

With many having already played the first two chapters at some point over the last few years, there are already fans who have completed the game. In a simple post on Twitter, Fox : "Delt🐲arune Chapter 3+4 have been released." There's a bit more to it, however.

In another early this morning, Fox provides some teasing advice to players who have already finished their Deltarune adventure: "After you finish Chapter 4, make sure you load uꦅp your save file one more time afterwards. There might have been something you misseꦐd!"

While some players ap𒆙preciate Fox's inclusion of a little treat at the end, others responded to the post with anguish at his posting of a potential spoiler. "NOOO, I hate👍 shit like this why are you posting spoilers??" one in the comments.

Regardless, the𒀰 post itself has ⭕garnered quite a bit of attention, and forced players who had completed their journey already to launch the game one more time to see just what Fox is on about.

Undertale's Toby Fox offers "temporary workaround" for a Deltarune bug preventing people from loading demo save files into the full RPG.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> An 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Oblivion Remastered player has shown the game's most annoying Dark Brotherhood que🐓st who's boss, with a kill that belongs oওn the finest MLG montage.

If you've been playing Oblivion Remastered's Dark Brotherhood quest, there's a good chance that you've come across Adamus Phillada. This Imperial soldier features as part of two different quests - one wꦜhich had me lurking in a skooma den for a day, and the other in which you're tasked with putting this nosy copper down for 🗹good.

Phillada is such a thorn in the side of the Dark Brotherhood that you're given a special 'one-hit' arrow to kill him with. The catch is that he's retired to the city of Leyawiin, where, as an esteemed commander, he's got a constant security deta🌳il, and spends most of his life strutting around in fancy armor that꧒ your arrow can't pierce.

The brief exception to this rule is when Phillada is asleep - at which point he's safely locked up in the guard house - or when he goes for his daily swim. At this point, he's supposed to remove his armor, giving any nearby assassins an easy shot at him. In Oblivion Remastered, however, he doesn't always do that, and spends multiple hours bobbing up and down in f💯ull plat🔯e.

It's an interesting glitch, in that it wasn't present in the original Oblivion, and it also doesn't actually matter - the game shows Phillada's armor, but it doesn't register it, so you can𒆙 take your shot and c💫ut his pool time short. I only found this out after I'd already killed Phillada, but if I'd known, I surely would have come up with a kill something like the one below.

from

In a clip acknowledging the Assassin's Creed roots of a parkour kill like this, Reddit user One_question_113 uses some impressive Acrobatics to take to the rooftops of Leyawiin, leaping so deftly across the tiles that I would have assumed they were playing a Khajiit if I didn't know better.

Sprဣinting off the final rooftop, they draw a bow and their special Broꦐtherhood arrow, burying it in Phillada's armored head as they land, entirely unhurt, in the pool next to him. A fitting end for easily the most frustrating Dark Brotherhood kill in the game.

Oblivion Remastered's first patch is out now in beta to iron out the RPG's janky charm, and Bethesda is already working on another one that "will focus on performance."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> During Epic Games' recent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:State of Unreal 2025 showcase, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:CD Projekt Red unveiled more of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4 and ⭕its features in a new tech 🌜demo – which included a first look at Ciri's horse Kelpie, a hyper-realistic steed that has left the equestrian community swooning.

It's not often we horse girls get to experience games with realistic mounts – the movement is wonky, the animation is off, and the horses feel like they were implemented with little regard for their real-life counterparts. That's why titles like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Red Dead Redemption 2 that feature a semblance of horse realism stand out and attract more than just your average RPG fans, but they're a rarity, and they're admittedly still lac✱king in many areas.

The Witcher 4 might just rewrite the genre's reputation in equestrians' minds, however, with its impressive tech powering the 澳👍洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"realistic muscles movꦯing and stretching" under the skin of Ciri's horse, Kelpie. I'm not the only one who thinks so, either – Alice Ruppert, the equestrian and game developer behind , a website "dedicated to horses in video games and video games abo𓆉ut horses," seems to think so, too.

Ruppert discusses CD Projekt Red's tech demo and its exploration of Kelpie's movements, muscles, and more, and it's safe to say she's impressed – although she does proceed with caution as the showcase is meant to highlight developers' "ambition for t🍸he game and the in-engin♌e capabilities" rather than The Witcher 4 as it'll play upon release. "In the 𒁏minute or so of footage the tech demo shows us of Kelpie, I find a lot of detail to appreciate."

She continues: "We see Kelpie move at a trot and cant꧅er in a generally anatomically correct and possible fashion" – a rare sight ot behold in video games, unfortunately. Ruppert also no💦tes that it's nice to see Kelpie treated as a companion rather than a vehicle. "The demo treats Kelpie like a character rather than a bicycle: Ciri calls her name and the horse reacts and canters up to her and Ciri gives her a little pat after mounting."

There's no telling whether this means we'll get more interactions than we did with Roach as Geralt in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3, but it's certainly a good sign "that th꧋e horse gameplay in The Witcher 4 is getting some additional attention compared to its predecessor." Ruppert then gets into some of the more movement-related specifics from the demo, as it "goes on to show off Kelpie's coat texture and muscle simulation at a galꦛlop in slow motion."

It all looks so smooth, she guesses animations "were most likely either motion captured or animated by someone who really knows their horses, and seeing it is balm on my soul." While there are flaws, as Ruppert notes, they require "nitpicking on a very high level" as "what we see in the Witcher 4 tech demo is easily one of the overall most impressive and well put together game horse animations ever seen, even if it isn't literally peꦺrfect in every way."

As both a longtime horse and RPG lover myself, I can't help but understand what Ruppert means when she admits she "got tears in my eyes the first time I watched this out of sheer 'oh my god they're taking the horse seriously' awe" – the tech demo is stunning, and I agree with her conclusion that "we horse-loving gamers may be in for an absolute treat" if CD Projekt Red's showcase acts as an indicator of what's to come in The Witcher 4.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Veᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚteran actor Ashly Burch is known for many roles at this point, ranging from punk rebel Chloe Price in the indie gem Life is Strange to the pyromaniac Tiny Tina in the Borderlands games. One of her most recognizable roles in her impressive resume, however, is one she didn't belie𒁏ve she'd even gotten: Aloy, the outcast looking to save the world in Guerrilla's hit open-world RPG Horizon Zero Dawn.

According to Burch, she knew it was the role for the lead i☂n a franchise but not much else. After not hearing back for so long, however, she assumed she "didn't get it." Then, the audition came through again, so she gave it one more shot and then before she knew it, Burch was doing a recording session for a short cinematic.

"(At this point) I hadn't seen anything, I hadn't seen any a🧸rt, I hadn't seen any renders," Burch explains to . "But after bringing me in for this E3 demo, they were like 'do you wanna see what the game looks like?' and they showed me ﷺthe gameplay, and my jaw dropped because it's such a gorgeous game."

Ho𒅌rizon Zero Dawn became a huge success, something that Burch immediately knew was in the cards after seeing the first looks at the game. "It really hit me in that moment, like, 'OH, this is a big deal.' This is gonna be a really big deal."

Horizon Zero Dawn's titular character, Aloy, has been a point of contention over the years, especially with the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, and its DLC, Burning Shores, where Aloy's queer identity is explored. Burch is no stranger to play🎉ing queer characters, and identifies with the queer community herself.

Even with the vitriol that havingℱ a queer woman as the lead of a game brought, Burch knew long before that development that she would have to step up and make sure she did Aloy justice due to her status as a female protagonist of a massive open-world game as Burch further explained.

"But I think Horizon was one of the first games of that type of scale where you could only play as Aloy. You can only play as a female character. And I definitely felt the responsibility of that, in that moment🔴, where I was like, okay. I have to do a good job."

It's safe to say Burch did a💦 good job considering that her first performance contributed to major success for Horizon Zero Dawn, which has led to a long line of follow-up installments for the franchise, including a recent remaster of Zero Dawn. While news is scarce on what's next for the series, fans will hopefully see Burch back in Aloy's shoes again in the coming years.

Horizon Zero Dawn star Ashly Burch responds to Sony's controversial AI Aloy by pushing for actor protections: "You have to compensate us fairly, and you have to tell us how you're using this AI."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Undert💫ale creator Toby Fox has warned people of a bug plaguing the new chapters of Deltarune, but worry not, he's also here with a temporary 𒆙fix.

Deltarune Chapters 1-4 just came out as a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 launch game, alongside a release on PC, PS5, PS4, and OG Switch, with the remaining chapters coming at some point in the fu⛦ture via free updates. Toby Fox♔ has now taken to social media to acknowledge a problem that appears to be affecting some fans.

"Seems certain Deltarune Switch and Steam Deck players are having trouble loading their demo save files into the full game," he tweeted today. "On Steam Deck, the issue has a temporary workaround below. On Switch, we would like🅰 to hear any details from players encountering this issue."

The temporary fix asks people to "use the Dolphin file browser" to resave their save data under a dif🎐ferent file name. Or you can probably just wait until Fox and Co. officially update the game.

For now, the famed indie developer called on Switch players to dish out more info. "Do you have the demo actively installed? What is your region? When did last you play the demo?" he asked folks playing on Switch and Switch 2.

Fꦺor those not in the know, Deltarune's first and second chapters have been available for years as totally free downloads, hence the demo branding. For $25, Deltarune Chapters 1-4 were supposed to let players continue from where they left off at the end of Chapter 2, but things haven't gone down entirely as planned, it seems.

Why not check out some other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Jennifer English has had quite a busy few years, with her latest role being 16-year-old Maelle in the latest GOTY contender, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. According to a recent Twitch stream featuring English and her partner, Aliona Baranova – who has her own minor role in Clair Obscur and was a performance director on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3 – English was the immedi💖ate 💎top contender for the role.

English is far from new to the voice-acting industry, with credits in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Elden Ring and Divinity: Original Sin 2, but her performance as Shadowheart in the critically-acclaimed 2023 RPG, Baldur's Gate 3, stole fans' hearts. Subsequently, the voice of Shadowheaꦦrt, lovingly dubbed "God's favorite princess," became widely recognizable. However, that seemingly wasn't true for the Clair Obscur devs.

English explains that when casting for the role of Maelle, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:blind auditions took place. This means those casting the role didn't know the nameꦉs' of the actors in order to avoid any sort of bias.

Furthermore, English claims that those at Clair Ob💖scur: Expedition 33 ꦑstudio Sandfall Interactive had even been playing Baldur's Gate 3, but apparently didn't notice that Shadowheart herself was the one auditioning.

Accor𝔉ding to Baranova, Clair Obscur's narrative lead, Jennifer Svedberg-Yen "knew within seconds that Jen's voic൲e [...] was Maelle."

It's safe to say that regardless of a blind audition or not, fans will continue to he🥂a💮r English's voice in future roles that steal the show.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 director found something that "makes the game feel 10 times better" mid-development, then painfully realized they had to apply it to "like 1,100" different attacks.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Oblivion Remastered just got its first patch since its release in April (on Steam Beta, at least), a🥃nd Bethesda is already promising another to come.

Oblivion Remast♌ered update 1.1 is out now for Steam Beta users, but will be rolled out for everyone else on June 11. This one is mainly focus🐓ed on bug fixes and crashes, with 11 specific crashes as well as "various CPU crashes" all ironed out, hopefully making for a smoother experience.

Five quests have had fixes applied, including one to stop Savlian getting stuck after The Battle for Kvatch's Castle Courtyard fight, and another to prevent Vicente Valtieri from "losing his hair" in 🦹A Knife in the Dark.

Elsewhere, a handful animations have been fixed in various ways – issu💯es you might have seen when mounting horses should be gone, Shambles' animations when attacking shou🐼ld no longer get stuck, and High Chancellor Ocato's arms should actually be animated now. Some UI fixes, like missing subtitles when interacting with Daedric Shrines and the Local Map not automatically showing up inside places, have also been implemented.

Bethesda hasn't currently given many detܫails about the second update or when exactly we can expect it to release, beyond saying that it "will focus on performance, and we will share more details when we are able." In the revealing this news (which also goes over the full patch notes for the first update, if you want all of those details𝓰), it mentions working on "two separate updates to be launched in the coming weeks," so presumably we shouldn't have too long to wait for that second one.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> In an instantly goated moment, Final Fantasy Tactics scenario writer Yasumi Matsuno has absolutely skewered the state of capitalism in 2025 with a sharply worded message accompanying the announcement of Final Fantasy Tactics: 🌼The Ivalice Chronicles🌞.

Strategy RPG fans are rightfully celebrating tonight after Square Enix officially annou꧅nced♍ the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster, but Matsuno-san i🍸s doing anything but celebrating. Instead, he's reminding fans of the original intention behind the game and rightly pointing out that it's just as relevant today as in 1997.

I'm sure you'll excuse me for choosing not to paraphrase anything out of respect for Mats🌠uno-san's sentiment and awar▨eness of my own comparative lack of perspective on the matter.

"Nearly 30 years ago, the collapse of Japan's bubble economy engulfed the nation's financial institutions in mountains of bad debt, triggering a wave of corporate bankruptcies, a sudden and extreme rise in unemployment rates, and stagnation of Japanese society as a whole," wro💛te Matsuno-san. "It was an era when many were robbed of hope,𝓀 when dreams were measured by their price tag."

"Against this historical backdrop, I crafted a story. It was the story🧜 of Ramza, a young man who fought tirelessly against the entrenched social class system. It was the story of Delta, who sought to take advantage of this confusion and despair to advance his own social position. It was the story of a peculiar destiny, in which friendship and betrayal intertwine.

"And now, in 2025—a time when inequal♏ity and division are still deeply rooted in society—I offer this story 𓂃once again."

Finally, with a mic drop to make the world shake, Matsuno-san wrote:𝄹 "The will to resist is in your hands."

Now that is how you announce a freakin' game. in the wake of the news, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I truly admire how unabashedly Matsuno-san emꦉbraced the overtly political nature of his game at a time 𒀰where political division is as polarizing as ever. No fucks given, basically, and I'm here for it.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Iv꧑alice Chronicles is coming to PS5 and PS4 this September with original and enhanced ver✃sions included.

Final Fantasy Tactics was originally an RTS RPG inspired by the director's cult classic Super Nintendo game, but his boss said "NOT THIS ONE!"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Rpg ]]> Strategy RPG fans can cross one game off their bucket list: Final Fanta🍬sy Tactics is getting a remaster at last. It♓'s called The Ivalice Chronicles and it's coming September 30, 2025, finally bringing the storied game to modern platforms.

Announced for PS5 and PS4 during today's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play live show, Final Fantasy Tactics: The I🤪valice Chronicles u𝕴pdates the 1997 game with enhanced graphics, voiced dialogue, and "refined gameplay."

In , Square Enix con🐲firmed that The Ivalice Chronicles is also coming t𒀰o Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X, and Steam.

Those miscellaneous gameplay adjustments include a new, evidently easier "Squire" difficulty said to make ♈"the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players," .

For a tw༺o-in-one, the classic version of the game, or a "faithful recre🧜ation" of it, is also included, preemptively dodging concerns that the updated version could lose some of the original's charm.

Final Fantasy remasters have 𝓀generally been good, but there have also been fair complaints about how some games were brought forward, especially where UI and text was concerned. From the footage shown today, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicl🐠es looks bang-on even in its enhanced version.

"This version stays true to the ori🍨ginal in almost every aspect, but includes some handy feꩲatures such as auto save," Square Enix says.

Last year, Final Fantasy Tactics director Yasumi Matsuno, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史🅺查询🦋:who seemed to unwittingly tease this remaster before Sony's show, encouraged f♉ans to give Unicorn Overlord their support, saying "the market for tactical RPGs is small."

Final Fantasy Tactics was originally an RTS RPG inspired by the director's cult classic Super Nintendo game, but his boss said "NOT THIS ONE!"
