<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-15T13:43:39Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Minecraft full💃y released almost 15 years ago, and in that time, it's more or less looked like the same blocky game we all know 💛and love, but it's now getting a sweeping visual overhaul.

Mojang Studios broke d🦩own the 'Vibrant Visuals' update, coming June 17, in a new video that also shows side-by-side comparisons of the game before and after. The main differences are that shadows now move organically and are cast by the sun, fog plays a much bigger role, water looks absolutely lꩲush, and biomes feel a lot more distinct.

More importantly, however, is that every new effect has been slightly pixelated so it all still feels recognizably Minecrafty, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:as the studio had promised before. Mojang has also 🐎apparently added more than 3,000 new textures and the devs seem very proud that you can actually tell how rough or shiny or metallic every material is just by looking at them. 🀅Color isn't the only thing that separates your blocks anymore.

"We didn't want to take away from what🐲 makes Minecraft Minecraft, so everything we added needed to feel really natural - a natural evolution of what players were already used to," lead rendering engineer A.J. Fairfield said.

"Even though you have this modern look and feel, it's also very familiar glimpses of the regular Minecraft that you know," Vi🎀brant Visuals lead Dejan Dimic added. It's certainly a sweeping, handsome update, without making the now-iconic gaꦉme look uncanny. So, mission accomplished?

Minecraft's redone visuals will be available in the Bedrock Edition later this month and will be turned on by default. Don't ꦕworry, though! You can toggle it off in the menus, and the update will also be coming to Java Edition at some point in the future.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> I love a good detective yarn – and Agatha Christie's Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, is one of the greats for a reason. I can never resist checking out a new adaptation or cracking open one of the books I've not read over a weekend. After the not-very-good 2022 movie, I've been eager to see this particular iconic mystery revived, so was quick to download Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile's Steam Next Fest demo. I really enjoyed it! (And you can find out more in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest guide about what's on offer).

OK, that makes sense – based on the information in the above paragraph I fit the motive of someone who would enjoy a game like this. But those of you who have thumbed my ch🌸aracter profile, studied the deep lore, will know that I really did not like developer Microids Studio Lyon's last game, Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express – in particular how it adapted the central mystery and modernized it for its 2023 setting. What's changed?

Disco fever

I don't want to say it's all to do with the '70s setting. But it does have a lot to do with it. Why has the seemingly unchanged moustachioed detective sud🐬denly been transplanted into the '70s when we last saw him in the present day? I know we're playing detectives here but maybe wi🎃th this one let's not ask a gift horse too many questions.

As Poirot struts his stuff into the Chez ma Tante nightclub, his walk cycle giving plenty, it just works. He's friends with the nightclub owner, and makes a point to order a house cocktail – the 1957 – that's named 🅷after the year the club was founded. Yes, it'll be a clue later. There's a botched wedding proposal to a business woman. The ring has been stolen. It's tutorial time!

This fresh twist on the opening scenes to Death ꧃on the Nile really work well here, the tutorial a simple mystery that's compelling to unravel. There's a bit of a looser feeling to how Poirot assembles his mind map of mysteries too, where it feels easy to review character profiles and evidence, but not too pushy with how you should do it. Maybe this is just a well-spun tiny mystery to get me started, but I'm much more compelled by෴ this one than the early hours of Murder on the Orient Express.

Whether Death on the Nile can keep 𒅌up the momentum is another question, but the opening does♌ serve to introduce us to all the major players of the mystery to come – and I feel positive about them at least so far. It also neatly introduces us to Jane Royce, another detective following in Poirot's footsteps. She's an immediately more likeable presence than Orient Express' Joanna Locke, and her presence seems to be more elegantly weaved into the story.

Despite not loving Locke, or a lot about how the Orient Express mystery was adapted and extended in the last game, I did think the dual-protagonist mechanics showed a lot of promise𝔍 during the very end of the game. Death on the Nile teasing an expansion and evolution of that set-up definitely has me curious. But for now, I'll have to wait and see when our murderous cruise will set off down the famous river. , PS5, Xbox 🐟Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The Switch 2 upgrades for 澳洲幸运5开奖⭕号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tears of the Kingdom are something I've been testing out – god knows my Switch 2 isn't good for much else until Nintendo remembers to release more games for it – and boy, those are pretty games. And fun ♎to play too! Hardly a new observation, but it bears repeating, especially with Nintendo seemingly unwilling to do a proper sequel, implying that we'll be moving to something substantively different on the next entry in the Zelda series.

And when it comes to comparisons between the two, with time to reflect I can't deny that Tears of the Kingdom is the bigger, more nuanced, more artisanal experience. It's a natural enhancement of the ideas that Breath of the Wild began back in 2017, an elevation of the concepts and systems that BOTW began.𓆏 Tears of the Kingdom is more detailed, grander in scope, smarter in its construction. Which makes it really weird that Breath of the Wild is, to my mind, clearly the better game of the two.

We've rated the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Zelda games of all time for you to find your next favorite

Let's get the obvious thing out of the way: Breath of the Wild is clearly the more revolutionary game between the two. After the tepid Skyward Sword, and then a five year silence regarding any mainline entry, Nintendo suddenly let loose with a sandbox wonderland that set the standard for open worlds for years and remains a strong contender for the best AAA game of the 2010s. I still remember my first few days with Breath of the Wild being little more than a series of open-mouthed "holy shit" realiz♐ations as the game continued to bend and adapt to everything I could throw at it.

Playing Tears of༺ the Kingdom six years later, I could tell early on that we weren't getting another leap forward of the same scale and scope. It was largely very familiar – not that that🍰's a bad thing! But it's also just not as impressive, is it? A great leap, followed by a careful step. Even now, Tears of the Kingdom still settles in the cultural mindset as being "Breath of the Wild 1.5", and that's not necessarily without good reason.

But something being great "for its time" doesn't mean much in the long term, admittedly. After all, that's one of the things that matters least to a game's long-term reputation, as it all blurs t🦄ogether and the circumstances around a release fade in our memory and relevance alike. Replaying both games recently, I realized that the key difference between the two games – and what makes Breath of the Wild better – is that it's always so much more in control than its younger sibling ever is.

Recall

Fighting enemies in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition

Breath of the Wild is one of the rubberiest games I've ever played. Sounds weird to say, but I can't think of a better term. You can stretch and bend its physics, rules and world, but it never breaks, folding your ideas into the experience with an effortless shrug, the true masteꦏr of "I meant to do that". You can manipulate the world for exploration and combat alike, freezing stepping stones into waterfalls and magnetically dragging weapons out of enemies' hands, but these all feel like "as intended" experiences, as inde🍰ed they are.

Tears of the Kingdom has far less control over itself, and it makes for a slightly uneven affair. Now that's arguably intentional, but after your fifteenth time gluing logs together (the solution to basically all problems), you might start to wish for a game that wasn't quite ♍so accommodating and demanded a little more of you. Likewise, constructs like the economic Hoverbike can often feel like you're playing with cheats, moving freely in three dimensions with zero issues, concerns or challenges. And when it does try to assert control, it often goes too far in the opposite direction, like the boring walk-and-talk intro with Zelda in the caves, or that annoying boxing arena boss fight later on.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom autobuild

That's the core difference between the two, and why I feel comfortable calling Breath of the Wild rubbery. Rubber bends, but it doesn't break. It just snaps back to the shape it was before. In comparison, Tear♑s o𒀰f the Kingdom is more like cling film, or sandwich wrap. More pliant, more varied, but stretch it too far and you begin to see a few holes emerge. I'm enjoying both games with the enhanced Switch 2 upgrades, but it's the 2017 classic that'll stay with me far longer.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> An E3 demo from 2014 was a major turning point for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and for developer CD Projekt Red more generally, according to the beloved ✱ga෴me's makers.

The Witcher 3 is now one of the most revered, well-known games in the entire RPG genre, having sold over 60 million copies and counting, but there was a time when CD Projekt Red was a relatively niche st🌟udio. Sure, The Witcher 1 and 2 definitely had solid fanbases and good ideas - The Witcher 3 is what turned CDPR into a household name, though.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 4's narrative director Philipp Weber recalled, in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:an interview with GamesRadar+, that that shift began happe💎ning when a working demo for the threequel started to gain traction at E3, courting fans from another massive fantasy epic.

"There was this feeling that it was going to be bigger," Weber remembered. "Skyrim was the open world game, and we could feel that suddenly a lot of people who loved Skyrim started paying attention to The Witcher 3. We could kind of feel this… big wave, touching us. There was an excitement, where we ওcould tell that the general public was taking notice.𓆉 It was a very interesting thing to see."

The rest is history. The Witcher 3 launched to rave reviews, countless awards, and a decade later, CDPR even went back to add just "one more patch" bringing mods to conso𝕴les for the first time ever. To no one's surprise, it's also influencing the directi♈on the studio takes with The Witcher 4.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> My most anticipated farming sim, Grave Seasons, 𝐆has a new trailer and release windo♉w.

Grave Seasons has been on my radar for a while, and it's all down to the game's irresistible set up. It's essentially a farm-n-life sim in the vein of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley ෴that looks super wholesome and cozy, except for the fact that there's a supernatural serial killer on the loose who can kill all the NPC villagers you might hope to romance. Or maybe you ༒want to romance the killer, which you can (and I will.)

Horror movie studio 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:turned horror game publisher Blumhouse released a new trailer for the dark murder mystery earlier this week alongside a 2026 release window for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S,𝄹 and Nintendo Switch.

The juicy trailer down below has just the💫 right amount of jolly crop-growing, NPC chitchatting, and bloody murder to get m🦂e really excited.

shares a few more clues, too. "After a treacherous escape from jail, you've made it to your new home in Ashenridge, an idyllic town with some seriously unsettling vibes." That's when the murders start happening, meaning you'll needꦆ to stop them before everyone starts susp🃏ecting the new ex-convict in town.

The farming ꧂stuff isn't just tacked on, either. When you've deduced who the next victim might be, you can craft specific items to save them and ward off the supernatural killer. I imagine by the end of the game mine and your towns might look drastically different depending on who lived or died. It's a really exciting twist on the genre, I think.

GamesRadar's Ashley Bardhan had very good things to say about the game's berry-picking gameplay and, err, visceral viscera depiction in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Grave Season hands-on impressions.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 was always going to enjoy a big launch - it was coming out alongside 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, after all, the first in the series in over a decade - but an analyst has now re𒀰vealed that the console actually broke rec🍬ords in the US.

Over on Bluesky, Circana analyst Mat Piscatella that the "Nintendo Switch 2 set a new all-time launch week un꧂it sales record for video game hardware in the US, with over 1.1 million units sold during the week ending June 7, 2025." (The Switch 2 came out June 5, by the way.) To make matters even more impressive, that doesn't even include sales made from My☂ Nintendo Store, the loyalty program, so final numbers might even be a little higher.

The previous record holder was the PlayStation 4's launch, according to Piscatella. There aren't any numbers around how well the PS4 did in its own first week in the US, but we do know the console sold around 2.1 million units after its first few weeks on store shelves. To put that into context, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 sold 3.5 million in jus✱t four days.

On to the actual games, Piscatella said that "79% of US Nintendo Switch 2 buyers also purchased Mario Kart World either physically, or as part of the Mario Kart World Switch 2 hardware bundle." Circana's data doesn't include digital sales for Nintendo games, so the attach rate is likely even higher. Cyberpunk 2077 and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom🍸 round out the launch week's top three best-selling games, though Nintendo itself hasn't revealed solid numbers for any software.

Nintendo previously forecast that it👍 would sell 15 million Switch🦋 2s in its first year, and it's well on its way to reaching🍬 that goal after just a few days. Its plan to "strengthen our production" to meet demand seems to have worked out just fine.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light stars🐬 a younger, less refined version of the classic "tuxedo Bond" we've come to know and love from the legendary film series, but thankfully he's still got his trusty ꦑQ to show him how to dress, sip martinis, and brood.

We sat down with IO Interactive's 007 franchise director Jonathan Lacaille during 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, and he opened up a little about the unique rဣelationship dynamic betwee♏n this game's James Bond and his Quartermaster, who fans of the film series will remember as Bond's sometimes father figure and supplier of state-of-the-art gadgets.

(The below quote has been lightly edited for clarity.)

"The Bond that we have today is not tuxedo Bond, the classy Bond with the martini and so on, said Lacaille. "He's young, he's not the suit guy yet. But Q is more the classy gentleꦛman with a lot of taste, and he will teach Bond what he should wear, manners, you know, why he needs to wear a nice watch and things like that."

It's ironic that my first thought after hearing that was, 'oh so kind of like Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan from Uncharted' because I specifically made the point recently that 007 First Light in fact isn't an Uncharted-style action game based on comments from this same interview. Well, haven't I made myse𒆙lf look like a fool?

Anyway, I'm encouraged that IOI isn't going the safe route and just adapting the most instantly recognizable Bond. Sean Conౠnery was pretty young when he was introduced as Bond at 32 in Dr. No, but even then he very much embraced the archetypal Bond that Lacaille is describing, so it'll be refreshing to see a scrappier, less elegant Bond.

007 First Light devs chose a James Bond origin story to help be "more relatable" to a "younger audience maybe than the Bond franchise is used to"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> What even counts as a video game? Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour has made me ponder this existential question numerous times during the five hours and change I've spent with it, and even at its most expansive definition, my mind still balks at lumping Nintendo's 🎀odd Nintendo Switch 2 experience in with, say, Breath of the Wild. Technically, factually, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is a video game in that there are interactive elements digitally portrayed, but it's really mostly a fancy toy and not much more.

Much of the conversation about Welcome Tour even before release has been about whether it's worth the $10 it costs digitally or if Nintendo should have just packed the thing in with the Switch 2 console in the first place. When I first got my hands on the title at the initial Switch 2 reveal event back in April, I spent a surprising amount of time with it (in part because the demo stations were regularly open) and came away calling it "a ba♈ffling, fascinating toy that still ma🌃kes no sense to me."

Fast facts

Release date: June 5, 2025
Platform(s):
Nintendo Switch 2
Developer:
Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo

That's mostly still the case, thoug✅h Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour does make a bit more sense now that I've seen all it has to offer. It makes for an impressive tech demo to learn all about the new Nintendo console, but iﷺt's hard to shake the feeling every step of the way that it would have perhaps once made for an excellent E3 booth presentation or even a startup tutorial, as opposed to charging a nominal fee to play it.

Nintendo's calls it, in part, "an interactive exhibit of sorts," and that's largely aꦑccurate. There's a real sense that you're exploring a giant interactive science and technology museum devoted entirely to the Nintendo Switch 2, which is overall impressive if somewhat boring. For example, I know way more about how the Joy-Con 2 controllers connect to the Switch 2 as a result of playing this game, and 🦂now have a solid handle on the whys and hows of mouse control. As a piece of educational software, if that was the goal, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is certainly successful.

Between the stamp rally requiring me to get faꩲmiliar with every physical inch of ꧂the Nintendo Switch 2 console and its accessories – including the official Pro controller, camera, and even the Joy-Con 2 steering wheel – and the variety of quizzes, demos, and minigames, it's not that there's nothing to do in Welcome Tour. The problem is that everything is so brief and breezy and disconnected that none of it actually feels meaningful.

Many minigames

Nintendo Switch 2: Welcome Tour screenshot

That didn't stop me from playing the little golf minigame that ostensibly teaches you about mouse controls until I earned all ℱthe meda꧋ls, nor did it stop me from making sure I'd dodged falling spiked balls for long enough. But, on the other side of those experiences, it's not like I found them particularly engaging, and there's no version of this world where I could imagine myself actually recommending people seek either out.

That's the strange predicament that Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour falls into. It's not bad, nor is it exactly good, and I certainly enjoyed myself more than I thought I would, but not enough that I'm positive that I would have dropped money on the game myself. If the value proposition is Welcome Tour or two or so packs of Magic: The Gathering's new Final Fantasy set, my heart probably skews towards the Magic🌌 cards.

And that's the most damning thing about Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. As one of the two first-party Nintendo Switch 2 launch titles, "fine, I guess, but I'd prefer Magic cཧards" as my impulse is… not good. And it is fine! It's fine. But "fine" alone is not enough to make something worth bothering with when there are so many different ways to spend your time that are much, much more worthwhile.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Danganronpa mastermind Kazutaka Kodaka isn't done with The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy just yet – in fact, after admitting he wants to add more than the tactical RPG's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:100 endings in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:future DLC, Kodaka reveals he hopes to "raiseꦬ" the game "like my own child."

What does that mean? Basically, Kodaka wants The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy to be downright massive – as if it isn't already. Responding to his own online po🌸st regarding his hopes for DLC later down the line, Kodaka he'd like his strategy RPG to be similar to the weekly manga anthology Shonen Jump.

"Like I men💖tioned before, I want Hundred Line to be like Shonen Jump – a single game packed wit⭕h all kinds of stories," states the developer.

"Massive in volume, with each story feeling like its own world, yet all of them influencing each other," he continues, going on ༒to say he'd like to "raise" his recent game over time as one would a child. "It's a one-of-a-kind story game, don't you think? That's how I want to raise this project – like my own child. I hope many players will join us. If you're still on the fence, come enroll in the Last Defense Academy. And bring your friends, too."

The call for more players lines up nicely with the developer's prior pos✅ts, in which he said he'd ensure DLC for The Hundred Line: 𝔉Last Defense Academy would happen by "boosting" its sales.

"I'll make it happen by boosting the sales of Hundred Line," Kodaka. "I already have a few ideas in mind. I'll be the one wri♒ting the scenario."

There's no telling what's in store for the tactical RPG just yet, but with 100 endings already and a "Very Positive" rating on Steam, I'm hopeful, as a fan myself, that the DLC hints and Shonen Jump comparisons ring true one day.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> While major publishers flee the impact radius of GTA 6 (and Devolver Digital 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:sprints headlong toward it), a few others are tiptoeing around the release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong, the long-awaited follow-up to our pick, and many peoples', for the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Metroidvania game of all time.

澳洲幸🦄运5开奖号码历史查询:Silksong is due this year, for real this ♉time, so some devs, especially those preparing similar games, are being cautious. That includes Fallen Tear: The Ascension developer Winter Crew Studios, which is holding out hope that Silksong isn't delayed again and promptly clea🙈rs its landing zone.

"Hey guys! I hope you haven't forgotten about us," Winter Crew boss Stephen Manalastas said , home ♉to all search-action enthusiasts. "I am sharing our Summer Showcase Trailer here. We are really close to our fi🧸nish line, and the game will be released in Q1 of 2026. and I hope Silksong will release this year coz we are avoiding them."

Fallen Tear's new trailer is a one-minute look at the key points of the game – including some of the same points that first 澳洲幸运5开奖𒈔号码历史查询:grabbed my attention as early as 2023, when the devs half-jokingly said they may have "the Elden Ring of Metroidvania in terms of map size" on 👍their hands. At all times, the game's vibrant, hand-animated aesthetic shines.

I've had this game in my sights, and on my Steam wishlist, for some time, and it continues to look quite good. It's a 2D, lavishly animated action-platformer with a Metroi🌼dvania-standard focus on finding hidden paths via new exploration abilities. Shapeshifting hero Hira takes on multiple forms as you progress, and his abilities are also shaped by the companions you meet and the relationships you form, which is where the JRPG blood mentioned on the game's Steam page comes to the fore.

When Winter Crew says JRPG-inspired, ꦺit's really talking about Suikoden and Valkyrie Profile. In Fallen 🅷Tear, you'll meet seemingly several dozen companions whose character traits directly affect gameplay based on the buffs or actions they provide when added to your active party. You're still playing as Hira, but with backup dancers, basically.

It sounds like a fun mix of mechanics I've historically enjoyed, so I'll keep my eye on it as that Q1 2026 launch approaches. It's targeting PC, PlayStation, X🀅box, and Switch.

Knight: Silksong dev simultaneously backtracks and doubles down on possible DLC, thinks "DLC is likely" despite his last apparent teaser being a joke.

Ketsu Battler is a game where you hold one of the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers with your buttcheeks (or your waistband, but that isn't as funny to say, is it?) and then throw it back in order to fight your enemies. In a message posted on the () apparently𓆏 the increased processing p🅘ower of the Nintendo Switch 2 will cause your rear end to become an overpowered unstoppable force.

🏅The devs say: "It's been confirmed that if you play Ketsu Battler on the Switch 2, your butt will become unexpectedly overpowered," and that they expect it's thanks to the increa꧋sed power of the Switch 2.

Because the Switch 2 has🍷 more power, the game runs faster, which in turn allows your special attack gauge to increase faster and make battles way more chaotic as a result. The higher framerate has made the asses too unstoppable.

However, the developers are looking into it right now, and hopefully the Nintendo Switch 2 will be able to appropriately handle the g🥃ame and deliver the correct amount of ꦑbooty shaking soon.

I've played 200 hours of Street Fighter 6, and the Switch 2 version is a perfectly fine companion piece – even if it could never be the ideal platform.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The Pokemon Company is officially leaning into one of the Pokemon competitive scene's most popular memes, adding a whole new level of humor after cementing 201ꦫ6 world champion Wolfe "Wolfey" Glick and his love-hate relationship with Incineroar i🐲nto history forever.

Wolfey, one of the most iconic faces in the Pokemon Video🌠 Game Championships (VGC) scene, is known for a few things. The first, it should go without saying, is being a very talented player, but many of his more recent wins have had a few things in common. One of those things is the usage of Fire/Dark-type starter Pokemon Incineroar, which is incredibly strong and useful in the competitive format, despite it being one of his most hated Pokemon – a love-hate situation fans like to bring up as often as possible.

The other thing is Perish Trap – an infamous strategy that involves using the move Perish Song (which instantly knocks out every Pokemon on the field if they're still in battle when three turns have passed since the move was used). Without getting into the technicalities of how that works here, Wolfey has really turned this into a signature strategy in recent years, having used it to help win the Pokemon European International Championships in February.

...Which brings us nicely on to today, as there's now an official in-game event distribution allowing players to claim a perfect replica of the Incineroar used in Wolfey's EUIC team in their own 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet save files. This was already very funny given how it continues to cement the fiery cat as Wolfey's right-hand 'mon, despite how much he denies actually liking it (and the fact that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:it's brought an old prophecy to pass, too). But th♉e code itself has taken things to another level.

As , if you want to claim the Incineroar for yourself, the Mystery Gift distribution code you'll need to type i🧜n is "NA1C25C0NPER1SH." It might have a couple of digits in the way, but it's obviously a direct reference to the "Wolfey con perish" meme, popularized after one unfortunate player, in🐻itially thrilled to see he was facing Wolfey in an online tournament, quickly figured out upon seeing his team that he'd brought the Perish Trap strategy with him.

"Wolfey!" the player exclaimed, before𒁏 realizing the gravity of the situation: "Wolfey con perish…ܫ no."

Needless to say, everyone is rather amused. "This is quite possibly the best special event code in the history of ever," one . "No way they made the code 'Con Perish.' I am cackling," , while : "The code hav꧋ing 'con perish' is hilarious actually."

Just to add to the whole thing, earlier this week the official Play Pokemon YouTube channel also of Wolfey's performance at EUIC, titled "Wolfe💯 LOVES Incineroar." Responding in the video's comments section, Wolfey simply writes: "UNNECESSARY."

If you want to claim the iconic ca🐠t for yourself, you have until June 20 at 4:59pm PT /7:59pm ET / 23:59 GMT to do so.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Before the release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Deltarune's newest chapters, creator Toby Fox teased he'd been working on a mini-game that his family described as a "cry for help." Players think they've now found the encounter he was talking about because, well, it's kinda horrifꦓying.

On social media, Undertale's Toby Fox hinted at the nightmare f꧙uel encounter a few months ago, writing, "♔I showed my family and friends a minigame I've been working on for DR, and th🌌ey all described it as 'a cry for help because your game is not out.'"

How did that manifest in the game proper? You see, there's a boss fight in the RPG that has you trying to dodge spooky ghosts in a series of dark mazeꦍs, all while a massive, really fugly pumpkin head follows you around and screams, "Your taking too long!" in a cursed, distorted voice. You can watch the unsettling but slightly hilarious encounter below.

The comments are full of players who also connected the dots back to Fox's old tease. "Your taking too long" could also be a reaction to Deltarune's longer-than-expected development, after all, and the way the community's been hounding Fox about it for 6 years (I think the scarier part is probably the spelling, though).

But, hey, the fun's not over! Deltarune isn't actually completely complete since more chapters are cominജg to 🥂the package as free updates at some nebulous point in the future. So, there's always room for another cursed mini-game to ♏act as a me⛄ta-commentary on game dev cycles.

You can play the RPG that inspired Undertale during Steam Next Fest and it even features the work of Toby Fox himself

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> It may have been 84 years, but 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong is apparently coming out this year. Even though the long-awaited sequel still doesn’t have a firm ♕release date, a member of Te⛄am Cherry caused a tizzy by suggesting there'd be DLC, comments he's since walked back and apologized for.

After Silksong popped up at the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, capping off 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Matthew "Leth" Griffin – marketing lead on the Metroidvania – made an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:offhand remark about the existence of DLC in response to content creator Primacon. Naturally, this started traveling fast, the community taking it as confirmation of a roadmap, prompting Griffin to do some cl📖eanup.

"I was joking that silkposting would continue post launch – the video had a question about if silkposting would end when the game comes out," he writes in the Hollow Knight Discord server. "I think ♈DLC is likely, but that decision isn't up to me. We'll have to wait and see."

Silkposting is the affectionately tongue-in-cheek name for the constant outpouring of memes we've seen as players patiently wait for information on Team Che🐼rry's nꦯew game. Much of the wait for Silksong has been done on limited information and only a few teases, and we're not much better off at the moment either.

Griffin ends by apologizing for getting hopes up. To be fair to him, downloadable content certainly seems likely, as Silksong will be a b🐽ig release for an indie project. Hollow Knight itself is genuinely beloved with a large number of players, and anticipation for another installment has remained high despite the scant updates.

When it arrives, expect a plan to accompany Silksong for ways it'll 𒁏expand and grow for the proceeding year or two. Knowing the devs, the third game may very well spring from the DLC, just as Silksong did.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is releasing "before" the Holiday season, Team Cherry says, and isn't "tied to a console release" like the Xbox ROG Ally

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> As you've no doubt noticed, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 is now available worldwide. The new console's arrival is sending ripples through the industry, but Sony isn't concerned, because the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation 5 hardware is simply on another level.

Hideaki Nishino, president and CEO༒ of Sony Interactive Entertainment, was asked about Nintendo's latest system and whether there were any concerns about what it offers during a recent business segment meeting. He starts by mentioning that competition is good, and companies successfully launching products is good for everyone, before taking a more pointed stance.

"We have a differentiated strategy. PS5 is designed for an immersive gaming experience, and this includes the innovative DualSense controller features as well," he says. "We believe PS5-level performance is required to achieve a great experience on big screens. And in this way, we have provided a unique off🐼ering for players and creators in this current console generation."

In the face of increasing multi-platform releases, Nishino reiterates the go♉al of making the PS5 the finest opt🐬ion for creative teams looking to reach a wide audience. "We have empowered our creators to leverage our offering and services to create amazing, unique experiences for players with high engagement and great monetization opportunities," he explains.

"We have done this consistently as the industry and competitive dynamics have evolved. And of course, PlayStation Studios, our franchises, have a special role 🐼in showcasing the PlayStation experience and then strengthening the player's vision with us."

With the likes of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:God of War and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Last of Us, Sony has managed to maintain its exclusivesᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ remarkably well, breeding a particular kind of loyalty in the process. These games do court an ol🍌der fanbase than the home of Super Mario and Zelda aims for, but Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios, believes they have something for everyone.

"In addition to our franchises with moreꦕ, I would call it 'multi-generational' fanbases, such as Marvel's Spider-Man, we also have franchises that appeal to a range of different player segments. Horizon is a good example, it's been very popular with female players, Astro Bot from our lovely Team Asobi in Tokyo, it’s been a hit with children and adults alike," he explained.

There are pros and cons to every machine and platform. There's still only one place you෴ can play Mario Kart, and it's not where Kratos lives, but you're unlikely to see The Last of Us 3 anywhere near the Switch 2 either. Meanwhile, the Switch 2 is built with portability in mind, whereas the PS5 favors cinematic, at-home playing. It's all about finding what suits you.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> You could say I'm easy to please, but give me a Switch 2 controller that looks like Kirby has swallowed it, and I'll smile for days. That's right, PowerA's gamepad tribute to th𒐪e puffball works with the new gaming handheld, and the fact that it's under $30 is just a delightful cherry on top of a wireless pink pudding.

PowerA Kirby Mouthful controller for Switch is currently going , and you've got a 33% discount to thank. It typically costs $44.99, but even with previous offers applied, it rarely drops below $30. You could say the timing is impeccable since you can now 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:buy the Nintendo Switch 2 and OG gamepads work with the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming handheld contender, no🧸t to mention it's just stinkin' cute.

PowerA Kirby Mouthful controller for Switch |
Save $15 - This is the lowest price I've spotted on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PowerA Wireless Kirby Controller in months, and it's practically a record low since its lowest recorded price is only two🌱 dollars less and was extremely brief. I've fully💧 tested this pad with Switch 2 and can confirm it works, so it could make for an extremely affordable and adorable alternative to the new Pro controller.

As a massive Kirby fan, I'd be lying if I said I didn't love this gamepad purely for the aesthetics. I mean, it's a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch controller that looks like it's beeꦚn swa🍌llowed by everyone's favorite, slightly monstrous, floaty friend, what's not to love? Well, if that's not enough for you, PowerA has sprinkled in some features that actually help this cheap accessory take on the new Switch 2 Pro Controller.

Namely, this wireless gဣamepad actually has mappable back buttons just like the new Pro Controller, and PowerA actually beat Nintendo to the chase in this department. The toggles are pretty easy to map and comfortable to reach thanks to the pad's ergonomics, so you don't have to splash out $84.99 just to gain some ex🐭tra inputs.

Despite being a more budget option, the PowerA Wireless gamepad retains features like motion controls. This is extremely handy for games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild that largely use a traditional control scheme, 🃏but will catch you off guard with dashes of gyro support that make all the differen♒ce (looking at you, Myahm Agana Shrine ball puzzle.)

Rather than using an integrated battery, PowerA's Wireless Switch range also uses AA cells. This is something some of you will view as a con depending on your preferences, but if you're used to using 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox controllers or have a stash of rechargea🎶ble bats, this pad won't force you to start using wired charging methods.

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Of course, ditching internal chargiಌng altogether also comes with drawbacks, as the controller also forgoes wired support. That means you won't be able to plug it into your console and use it like a USB gamepad, meaning it's strictly for ﷽wireless use.

If you're a big fan of HD rumble, PowerA's Kirby controller isn't going to satiate your needs either, as it features zero vibrations. This is probably the one cavea𝄹t that bothers me most since it makes the gamepad feel lighter than I'd like, but the omission isn't unc🐈ommon at this price point.

Keep in mind that this Kirby cont𓆏roller is currently under $30, and even with the above drawbacks, it's still pretty great value. To put things into perspective, you can pick up three of these PowerA pads for just $5 more than a single Switch 2 Pro Controller, and while the latter pad will feel much more premium, it certainly can match the puffball on sheer chaotic cuteness.

Now all I need is for Nintendo to add Kirby to Mario Kart Worl🌌d (don🍌't make me beg.)

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Yoko Taro and Yosuke Saito, leads of the Nier series, have set the record straight following some mistranslated comments. During a following the PC release of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stellar Blade, Saito's answer to a question on Nier's designs led to a belief Square Enix𓄧 e🔯nforced some form of restrictions, something they’ve now denied.

As this started doing the rounds, Yoko to a fan reaching out on Twitter, in a twཧeet , "I've never heard of such a thing happening." Meanwhile, Saito has made a statement of his own, saying there's been a mistranslation, and the devs weren't restricted in any way, shape or form during the making of the Nier games.

Furthermore, he says he'd like to clarify further on another livestream, though when that'll happen remains to be seen. The root cause of the misunderstanding is a question on character designs. Yoko Taro began by stating they like to g♕o against the grain wherever possible.

"If western sci-fi is filled with marine-like soldiers, we might go in the♊ opposite direction and use gothic lolita outfi🤡ts, for example. We tend to take the contrarian route," he said at the time.

Then, Saito added there are some things they avoid, but Automaton notes this is where the true meaning of his words was lost in translation. Theꦆ subtitles in question had translated his words as: "There are certain things that are ethically or morally inappro💛priate – even if they're just aspects of a character. We try to draw a line by establishing rules about what's acceptable and what's not."

Furthermore, he'd seemingly added: "While certain things might be acceptable in Japan, they could become🥃 problematic in certain overseas regions. These are the kind of situations we usually try to avoid creating."

As Automaton says, this appears to be where some people got the wrong idea. The idea of acceptability came acr🌊oss as a hint of publisher interference or mandate, especially outside of Japan, rather than being about societal expectations and what's considered gauche. If the subject interests you, it sounds like we’re getting another chance to dive🐻 into it very soon.

They're 8 years behind, but Stellar Blade fans are on track to out-horny Nier Automata fans: after 1 day, the top 30 NSFW mods on Nexus Mods have 350,000 downloads

According to Redditor millsbuddy, who shared this genuinely impressive achievement, there are a few conditions that ne🌸ed to be met to receive this special text from the Voice.

First, you have to be playing on PS4 or PS5, and you have to have trophies enabled. Then, the system will check to make sure you haven't collected any of those trophies, and tওhat you managed to complete all four of Deltarune's chapters at least o🌌nce. If you meet those criteria, you should get the above message in the credits.

Deltarune's long-awaited third and fourth chapters finally la🉐unched earlier this mont♋h, and with them came the game's very first trophies, exclu𝔉sive to PlayStation.

The funny thing is, looking at the list of , it actually seems like this non-trophy achievement is way harder to get than most of the trophies in🐬 the game. With trophies being awarded for basic functions like consuming items, equipping armor and weapons, and taking certain amounts of damage, it definitely seems like something you'll 🦹have to actively work toward if you want this special message, which is just very Toby Fox of him to do.

I wonder if this is what Fox was talking about when he said the new Delta🐬rune 🐽trophies would "give rise to a pretty hard-core challenge." Sure seems like it.

The milestone is accompanied by a new update adding a few highly requested features, chiefly including an expanded camera view that'll allow you to see further. Although Fantasy Life i has been very well-rece๊ived, one common pain point has been the fairly limited view you get from the in-game camera, particularly in the open-world area, Ginormosia.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino shared a screenshot of Ginormosia through the lens of the updated camera, and it indeed looks like a much wider view, and one less angled toward the ground. In the screenshot, you can much more easily spot towers﷽ and various landmarks without actually having to approach them.

According to the , the update also adds separate buttons for faster sowing and watering during farming, the ability to listen to the "Life Song" repeatedly after Mastering a life, improved Switch 2 graphics, a feature that𝔉 auto-locks your weapon onto enemies when you unsheathe it, and expanded control mapping.

Fantasy Life i launched late last month on PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC to highly positive reviews calling it a dangerously addicting hybrid of Animal Crossing-style life sim and Zelda-style exploration and dungeon-busting. It's now available on Switch ꦑ2 as well for a tiny upgrade fee.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> I can't quite wrap my head around Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, the first roguelike publisher Bandai Namco is releasing in its decades of existence, and a mostly satisfying 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest demo that otherwise made me wonder, what's the point?

To Towa developer Brownie, whose game director Shuhei Yamashita – along with Band🐟ai producer Daisuke Nagaoka – spoke to me through a translator, the point is that Towa is "unlike any roguelike." But the undeniable fact is that Towa is actually a lot like Hades.

"We are very inspired by Hades," the developers explained, "we have a great respect for [it], especially its action scenes. We use it as sort of a reference for [Towa], but Towa is not just [ღHades]. We use it as a base, and we have added these values."

Most obvious, to me, is the pleasant, by-the-fire sense of togetherness Towa instills in you by being a game about companionship. You get to choose your lead tsurugi ("sword" in Japanese) and support kagura (which refers to a mystical staff) from a charming team of eight heroes sworn to serve the pr🦂iestess Towa.

But, during my 30 minutes with Towa's demo, I wasn't as interested in the politics of the game's main campsite Shinju Village – despite it being heavy with red flowers, and evocatively stained with watercolor – than I was enamored with how good combat felt.

I'd decided to tap the "Virtuous Seeker" Nishiki, a sinewy Koi fish whose profile suggests he is a cannibalistic seafood eater, to be my tsurugi and the mean-looking girl with bangs, Rekka, to be my kagura; I'm a🅷 woman constantly in search of a Beauty and the Beast dynamic, what can I say.

It worked out. The two had synergy. As I swapped between the two blade masters' swords each time one's power was depleted by performing hits, I started feeling safe in the fact𝓰 that I was not alone. When one soldier became exhausted, I took comfort in knowing there was another to the side of her, ready to help.

Entering Towa's overgrown, monster-infested world as a duo instead of as one, vulnerable champion made for a strong sense of flow during battle; instead of constantly checking my health status with typical roguelike paranoia, I simply made sure to swap between my characters' weapons as often as if we were trading dance steps. To the game's credit, while its controls are more elaborate than the straightforward attacks in Hades, the flow Towa forces you into is conducive to ridꦫiculous c🍃ombos, which I was able to achieve with only a few minutes of experience. Also, the fish guy kept rolling around like a boulder made of meat, which was awesome.

"One thing [about Towa] is🍃 that [we wanted to create] characters that have completely different silhouettes, so each individual character features a different silhouette," says the game's developers. "That was more of a purpose [behind their designs] than a mythology."

So, I love that there's big guys and mean little ladies – as one🐈 myself – and I like how Towa feels like soda-popping through combat in a flashy game like Final Fantasy 16, but I can't get past the seriously explicit Hades references.

Greek tragedy

Every time I started enjoying the particulars of Towa's world, I was confronted by Boons (called Grace in Towa), g🌳ates advertising the next level's prizes,🧸 and stations with replenishing waters – all important elements of Hades' combat loop and map layout. In Hades, these things have monumental meaning for the game's take on Greek mythology.

But, in the Towa demo I played, which didn't elaborate much on the game's story, these elements felt like they formed a scrapbook of what roguelikes its developers actually enjoy – they hadn't been diversified enough to distinguish from their source material. Each🐲 time I noticed them, I felt a little tug at the back of my head reminding me that I could be playing Hades – a game I already love and know well – instead. Since Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree offers so much to enjoy in its duo combat, I don't understand why the game allows itself to be overshadowed by its inspiration like this.

Towa will bﷺe out September 19 on PlayStatio𝔍n 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Flanked by The Duskbloods and The Blood of Dawnwalker, Code Vein 2 swoops into the vampire game renaissance by "improving" the lovably janky Soulslike RPG we got 6 years ago.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The latest chapters of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Deltarune, Toby Fox’s enigmatic followup to Undertale, have arrived, filled with all sorts of Easter eggs and references for players to uncover. Multiplayer juggernaut Among Us get🍌s a nod in Chapter 4, and Fox had the perওfect response when it was noticed.

𒉰Without going too deep into spoiler territory, there’s a part in Chapter 4 where Susie, Kris and Noelle are in a storaꦗge closet. While there, one off them comments the room is “kinda sus,” a clear aspersion to Innersloth’s exceedingly popular murder deduction game.

Upon seeing the quote make the rounds, Innersloth commented on social media about it. “Ahhhh, Amon🔯g Us reference in De﷽ltarune, I'mma crash out!” the Among Us Twitter account proclaims.

They sh꧑ould’ve kept it cool, because Fox responded in the most hilarious way possible. He posted fictional patch notes, about an update to remove Among Us from the RPG. Alas, easy come easy go.

Just to be clear: Toby hasn’t changed anything. This is all a cute joke between d♛evelopers over a shared love of each other’s work. But as far as clapbacks go, it's very effective.

On June 5, we got chapters three and four of Deltarune. The Undertale sequel maintains many of the same characteristics, from an 8-bit aesthetic to choice-based gameplay. Just like its predecessor, you can tackle the🌼 whole thing as a pacifist, or you can go in all guns blazing to discover the many wacky facets of combat.

The tapered release allows players 𝐆to discover the story and world together, sharing titbits from the various forks in the road they encounter. Chapter 5 is due out next year, and if anything sus happens, you’ll find out about it here.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> With the Switch 2 quickly selling 3.5 million units and becoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo's fastest-selling hardware, perhaps it's no surprise that its big launch title 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World has also got off to a flying start, but it's seemingly demolished the physical releases of Switch 1 launch title Zelda: Breath of the Wild and its direꦿct pred🍎ecessor Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in Japan.

In a new report (which we've ma༒chine translated), estimates that M꧟ario Kart World sold 782,566 physical retail copies in Japan alone in its first three days. This figure includes copies of the game included in Switch 2 bundles, it should be noted.

As highlighteꦓd by user , this is even more impressive when you consider The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Maꦑrio Kart 8 Deluxe's launch sales. Breath of the Wild might have simultaneously released on Nintendo's most underrated console (RIP, Wii U), but really, it was the big launch title for the Switch.

Back in 2017, that in its first three days, the Switch version of Breath of the Wild was estim𒈔ated to have sold 193,060 physical, retail copies in Japan. That's four times less than🐈 Mario Kart World's estimated sales.

Meanwhile, data from Media Create, claiming that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe managed to se🃏ll 284,823 copies in Japan in the two days before chart figures were rel൲eased. Forbes later stated the game had sold 375,475 copies by May 7 (nine days after launch).

This was massive, obviously – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was an expanded Wii U port, so it wasn't even an all-new release. However, it's still not come clos🍰e to the launch performance of Mario Kart Wor🔯ld, apparently.

Worldwide, Mario Kart 8 Delux𝐆e is still Nintendo's best-selling Switch game at over . We'll just have to see if its successor can surpass it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World released last week alongside the Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2, and while people are loving it (we gave it a 4.5/5 in the GamesRadar+澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World review), if you're like me you're no doubt outraged that Donkey Kong only has one of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World's Outfits. Despite his own game coming next month with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Donkey Kong Bananza, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:his big redesign the big ape only 🐻gets one new fit. To put that into context, three of the babies have five each. Even Lakitu has more than Donkey Kong, and that dude sucks!

However, Mario Kart fans think there's a reason for this, and that it could signal a potential Donkey Kong expansion coming to Mario Kart World. In a post on a user has run down the strange omissions in the game. For example, Diddy Kong (who also 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:got a redesign, despite not being in World or Bananza) is absent, as ar🙈e all the other members of the DK crew.

The other points inc♔lude that the majority of DK content found in Mario Kart World is based on the original arcade game, with DK Spaceport basically being a remake of it in racetrack form, and there being a ton of pixelated DK stickers. And somehow in the massive soundtrack the game has, the only DK song is the theme from the Mario Kart 7 track DK Jungle, despite other spinoffs getting tunes. They also note that there are not really any jungl🐓e tracks in the game, outside of Dino Dino Jungle (and even then, that got remixed into a laboratory this time around).

Potential DK Bananza spoilers ahead based on a Nintendo Korea leak.

Now this could either be compelling evidence or a list of things for DK fans to be bummed out by. But what I think is most interesting is that out of the main cast, the only other character to only get one extra outfit is Pauline. And if a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:leaked image from Nintendo Korea is anything to go by, Pauline will have a major role in Don♓key Kong Bananza.

Whether it's a full-blown expansion or just some Bananza themed costumes (where are my guy's dungarees!), I could absolutely see a DK-themed update coming to Mario Kart World after it releases. Alternatively, there could be a special outfit unlock for players who purchase Bananza, similar to the one we had with Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii back in the day.

Mario Kart World repeats Mario Kart 8's most annoying problem as Nintendo's seemingly hiding all-important stats for characters and vehicles.

The Switch 2 versions of Scarlet and Violet boast an impressive 60 frames per second and also a higher Pokemon spawn count thanks to a larger render distance and an increase of the original Switch's hard limit of 16. Naturally, shiny hunters are already using this to their🥂 advantage.

In the cave in Area Zero, it's possible to summon Flutt♈er Mane at will wi🔜th a glitch. Simply create a shiny sandwich for Ghost-type Pokemon and then head into the cave. Pressing ZL will cause Flutter Mane to spawn, and you should get a shiny one quite quickly.

The trick to getting a lot of them is patience. Regular 'mons despawn after a time, but sh༺inies won't. So, just wait out any of the boring regular color Flutter Mane and keep pressing ZL. Eventually, you'll have a whole horde of the green ghosts surrounding you like this Redditor.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds might be launching in the shadow of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, but publisher Sega is planning for its own arcade𓄧 racer to have some long legs with fre🔯e characters launching every month.

In an interview with Famitsu, series producer Takashi lizuka revealed the team is planning to add one new character to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds each and every month. Iizuꦦka didn't specify when the post-launch plans will conclude, although💃 the upcoming characters are likely to come from Sega's roster.

Iizuka played coy when asked about the possibility of Shenmue's return to kart racing after his small cameo in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Though characters from other Sega series - like Metaphor: ReFantazio, Shin Megami Tensei, Phantasy Star, Puyo Puyo, and Super Monkey Ball - might be good 🐬guesses, too.

And in case you missed it, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is digging into the multiverse, as the name may imply. We recently learned that everybody from Persona 5'🅘s Joker to Hatsune Miku to Yakuza's I♔chiban will be on the list of playable characters, while Minecraft Steve is part of the paid season pass that's ꦡpromising to add even more, unannounced names from outside of Sega's wheelhouse.

Of course, Sega was mum about the game's 🐬 from a few weeks ago that mentioned SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be joining Minecraft Steve in the season pass. So, take t🤡hat how you like.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Saying 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic game doesn't generate heated discussions online anymore. 2023's big 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Phantom Liberty expansion and the linked systemic rework turned things around. Moreover, that wasn't the end of the road for the game, which has gotten further enhancements since then. Even after the alleged end of support we're waiting for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:yet another chunky update. Now, the only mountain that's left to conquer is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo's hardware. Does the Switch 2 p🤡ort succeed or should you stick with the experience on a handheld PC?

As the proud owner of a Steam Deck, I had some doubts about the personal enjoyment I could get out of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 port, but at the same time, I was extremely curious about how well it could possibly run on what's ultimately a beᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚefed-up tablet. If this was a serious effort to bring a cutting-edge AAA title to Nintendo's new hybrid console at launch, the rest of the generation could look very promising. Now, 10 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 – I've imported my main PC save – I can confidently say it's easily the best way to play it on t🅷he go.

As crisp-looking and smooth as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World is, Cyberpunk 2077 is the ultimate way to push the Switch 2 to its limits right now. It's the one game that will make your jaw drop once or twice because it almost feels illegal to have something that looks this good running on 'puny' Nintendo hardware. It's not just an excellent rendition of the game as seen in all its glory on current-gen platforms and PC♔, but alജso a perfectly fine way to enjoy it for the first time... as long as you don't mind some rough edges.

Uncompromised vibes

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 review: "We're in for an excellent generation"

Whereas the (admittedly impressive) Switch port of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Witcher 3 by Saber Interactive haꦛd to dial the visual presentation so much that it 🍸inevitably ended up looking different, like a PSP-era adaptation of a big PS3 release, CD Projekt Red's Switch 2 debut can be described as the developer coming out swinging.

We can thank the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:console's DLSS capabilities for that, but it's also clear the developer made a ton of platform-specific optimizations in order to ensure it's the real deal. Mind you, the game can chug in certain areas, including the infamous center of Dogtown and some of Night City's busier districts. Just walking or driving slowly around those parts will send the framerate below the 30 FPS cap (40 if you're on Performance mode). Try cruising fast through them and you might get proper hiccups and stutters; the RAM and CPU just can't keep up in such scenarios. ܫStill, none of these slowdowns last too long, and it's safe to say Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 lands closer to the Xbox Series S and low-spec modern PC experience than PS4 & Xbox One's nightmarish versions. 1080p through DLSS gets the job done here thanks to the extra sharpening involved too.

Many gamers who don't care much about settings and whatnot might also be wondering which graphics mode is best. Short answer: There's no clear winner here. Long answer: Quality looks noticeably sharp🉐er, with image that resolves more convincingly when it comes to finer details, but the extra 10 FPS (rarely constant, I must say) that come with Performance can help a great deal with the overall fluidity, especially in heated action sequences.

I'm typically a staunch defender of going with more FPS 99% of the time, yet I found myself leaning towards Quality because Performance rarely hits 40 FPS for more than a few seconds, making the loss in visual fidelity harder to swallow. Playing a first-person game at 30 FPS (with drops below possible) might seem bad, but at the time of writing, it's the more consistent experience, especially on handheld mode (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:VRR isn't a thing when docked). As for load times, don't worry about them.

When it comes to presenཧtation, the big win is that Cyberpunk 2077 looks very much like Cyberpunk 2077. Even when you take away the sweet sweet high framerate which you can get elsewhere and fancy ray tracing, what's left on Switch 2 looks convincing and retains every delicious bit of the stunning art direction, whether it's the streets at night, the sleek vehicles, or a crowded market under the rain. Neither duller nor barren, this is Night City as I've experienced it for tens of hours on PC and PS5 before.

On the portable PC handhelds, similar visuals and performance are achievable (and DLSS still gives Switch 2 the upper hand), but the big difference is ꦡthat Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 runs and looks fine out of the box. You can even load up cross-saves in mere seconds. There are gameplay, sound, and accessibility options you can tinker with, but hitting the ground runnin🅘g feels great.

Nifty cyberware

On top of HDR support and spatial audio that wows even in portable mode, the Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 comes with all the bells and whistles that Nintendo spent some time marketing ahead of launch. Gyroscope enjoyers can get better precision with that aiming mode, and the console's mouse capabilities, while not ideal when playing at 30 or 40 FPS, are present too. While I'm not a fan of the latter in this game, it's a great showcase of what the console can do outside💫 of shinier graphics and denser worlds, and made me very excited about the future of first-person and strategy games on Switch 2.

If you like tablets a bit too much, the touch screen works in menus and for actions like hacking so you can go all🌄 Tom Cruise in Minority Report instead of using the buttons like a normal gamer. In most cases, it's hard to imagine the average player messing with these options too much, but it's good to see CDPR going this deep and all-out with one of the console's launch titles. It sets a golden standard for big third-party ports movin🅺g forward, warts and all, and that's ultimately good for consumers.

Cyberpunk 2077 on the Nintendo Switch 2 could've been a curiosity, a fun experiment with somewhat middling results. Instead, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:it's a promise of greater things to come and a bar to match or clear going forward. With new updates and more pol𝓀ishing surely on the way, I find it hard to get too hung up on the rockier performance moments of a port that really feels like black magic.

If you can stomach some bumps in the road a꧑nd deal with less snappy aim, there's no better option to take Night City everywhere you want. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to replay Phantom Liberty again to try and get the best ending this time around.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> After the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 was revealed to be $450 along with the $80 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, the internet was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:overrun with cries to "drop the price." Nintendo, however, did not drop the price, and it's since been revealed that its new console sold 3.5 million units in its first four days, becoming the new fastest-selling hardware for the company. Now, though, two former Nintendo marketing leads say the company is esseওntially being taught "tℱhat they can continue to do this."

In the latest episode of the ex-Nintendo Minute hosts' podcast, Nintendo of America's former director of social media marketing and original content, Kit Ellis, and former senior manager of creator relations and original content, Krysta Yang, discuss some of the lessons the company is likely to have learned from the Switch 2's launch. They point to the backlash the Switch 2 faced for its pricing (澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:as well as its game-key cards), with Ell𒁏is noting that Nintendo "made a decision that they were not going to engage on these topics."

This, he says, "is very much in line with what they have always done, which is just sit it out," rather than going for the opposite approach of responding but then getting stuck in an "endless cycle of like, you respo🎶nd,𒐪 people get mad, you respond again, people get more mad, and it's like what are we doing?"

Yang notes that "when we were inside the company working on the comms team," situations like this (not exclusive to launches) would "come up all the time," which would lead to "a discussion of like, what should the response be, and I'm telling🙈 you, 99.99999% of the time, the strategy is do not engage. Pretend it didn't happen."

Nintendo, Ell🌳is says, kဣnows "something about human nature which is not always a comfortable thing, but it is a true thing, which is if you just wait, most people will not be mad anymore."

Agreeing that the company doesn't seem to feel the "press♏ure" of having to respond to backlash, Yang chimes in: "They don't have, like, any human emotion. I'm not saying this to be mean orꦚ something, but it's like you're talking to a robot with no heart. [...] They are not human. They are like a faceless corporate robot. And so their response to you screaming on the internet and being mad is like, 'I don't care. This is not triggering any emotion in me at all, like I just will wait you out. And I know that I can wait you out, too.'"

As Ellis highlights that we've seen plenty of other examples before of people expecting that something is "'going to bomb because we're mad,' and then it doesn't bomb and i🐻t breaks a record," Yang says: "You're basically teaching them that they can continue to do this to you. [...] The thing is that this is not a good lesson to l🦂earn.

"Let's b🦄e clear that we're not advocating for Nintendo to be like a corporate monster," she adds, "because we did see this a lot from the inside and we would have like human emotions when people were mad, and sometimes we would be like, 'Oh man, I wish we would respond to these things,' but they won't."

Ellis agrees tꩲhat "long-term aggravating your most passionate fans, it doesn't seem like a good thing to do, you probably shouldn't do that," even though the two say that actually arguing such a point within the company was easier said than done.

"They always had this other thing that they do that you can't argue against⛦ is 'the next thing that we do will make them happy again,'" Yang explains. "And you're like, 'you're probably right. The next game that you announce is probably going to [make people] happy📖 again.'"

Concluding𒁏, Ellis says: "I just hope Nintendo does not go down that path of like, 'We're going to get away with whatever we can, we're going to squeeze as much money as we can.'" As Yang points out that "that's the lesson that they learned, though," Ellis warns: "This is gonna get ugly🐷 at some point."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> I've been itching to find out why third-party 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 dock support is virtually non-existent, and I've potentially just found the answer. After reaching out to various accessory makers for insight, Jsaux kindly provided me with some technical requirements for the handheld's TV mod🦄e that make a lot of sense.

According to Jsaux, Switch 2 docks require a "20V power input to activate TV mode," a five-volt increase compared to the original console. Most of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming handheld contenders also use 15V, which explains why every 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Deck dock I've tried so far refuses to play ball.

In addition, the accessory brand also says Nintendo's USB-C protocols have also changed, "requiring re-adaptation for both power deli🀅very and video output." This adds up considering the handheld is looking for 20V before activating TV mode, but there might be an additional handshake in there too that serves as a hurdle.

Jsaux Switch 2 accessory range with cases on right, JoyCon grips on left, and Multifunctional Docking Station in middle next to handheld.

The bad news is that this means third-party docking stations will no doubt need a firmware update before they'll play nice with the Switch 2. I've no doubt that companies like Jsaux will share updates for docks when they're ready, and BenQ has already previously let me know it's working on new firmware for the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GR10 Steam Deck dock.

However, since many of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best portable monitors aren't easily patchable, it's possible that you won't be able to connect the Switch 2 to existing models via a single cable. I'd love a 🙈company to prove me wrong on that one, but these screens aren't really designed for easy firmware updates.

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

The good news is that Jsaux is still on track to release i⛎ts 🍌own dedicated Switch 2 dock, but says it will "take some time to ensure proper compatibility and performance." I'd rather the accessory maker takes its time and irons out any wrinkles before releasing its own hub, and if its Steam Deck options are anything to go by, the eventual docking station will make for a solid addition to your setup.

As a side note, GameStop is apparently set to release its own "TV Adapter" for Switch 2 on June 16 . I am 🤪slightly skeptical about whether this accessory will actually arrive on that date, ℱor if the retailer listed the product on the assumption of original compatibility. I'm also not particularly impressed with what the device offers or the fact it states "720p output" in its description, so I'd keep an eye out for proper dedicated docking stations if you want to avoid specs shenanigans.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> It's 2025 and new Dreamcast ports are coming in hot and fast. After getting Doom 64 and WipeOut working on Sega's beleaguered system, JNMartin is now porting something truly sacrilegious: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart 64.

Yes, Mario's first 3D kart racer will be playable on the Dreamcast, a feat which seems ridiculous to even think about. But there's an early clip to prove it's already happening,ꦍ though right🐽 now it’s not particularly appealing.

The footage comes from Flaco Girgis, who's involved in the Dreamcast homebrew scene (thanks, ). He shared a snippet, revealing some of the issues JN𒆙Martin is facing, and extolling all the progress th𒈔at's been made.

"There are all kinds of visual glitches and rendering artifacts, the framerate is all over the 💮place, and there's no audio yet - which is totally typical𒅌 of any ambitious DC port in the early stages," Girgis writes. "The [Dreamcast] build wouldn't even get past the menu screen without crashing or running out of RAM until just a few DAYS ago, yet here it is, every level playable WITH multiplayer support already on the DC!"

What's available is rough, with a stodgy framerate and a number of inconsistencies. But the Dreamcast and Nintendo🃏 64 had very different hardware, making something from one run on the other is a feat, and there’s more than enough to suggest this’ll be running smoothly before we know it.

Imagine trying to explain to someone circa-2000 Mario Kart 64 would be running on a Sega console, never mind the Dreamcast of♛ all things. What a world. Soon it'll be time to get reacquainted with the original Rainb🐻ow Road all over again. We'll keep you informed on progress.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The Switch 2 is finally here, which of course means that Nintendo fans are finding new ways to challenge themselves in-game – including one skilled 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tears of the Kingdom player, who is able to play the game with theꦕir Joy-Con 💦attached backwards.

Yes, you read that right. Forget about blindfolded speedruns, Japanese Zelda fan "Peco" has found a new way to challenge himself. As Peco highlights in a recent online , players can actually insert their Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers the wrong way around on the new handheld console and have them remain functional, effectively allowing them to play games entire🦂ly backwards without seeing any of the action first😼hand themselves.

While it's akin to a blindfolded run, a playthrough with reversed Joy-Con controllers seems like it'd be nearly impossible – but Peco manages to take on a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom without seeing his screen once. As a longtime Zelda fan myself, that's an enemy many people struggle with, as is, so seeing a person ꦅtackle one without access to the screen is seriously impressive. Furthermore, it might open the door to a new category of speedruns.

As Peco writes (translated by DeepL and Google), the Switch 2 "Joy-Con works properly no matter which way it's inserted" – in other words, it's not unique to 🐭Tears of the Kingdom, nor is it something that only Peco could pull off himself. With thousands of shares and views so far, too, it's safe to say the broader Nintendo community might✃ get in on the action and have a go at playing through games with their Joy-Con reversed.

After all, blindfolded speedruns are already a thing, and various players have proven capable of doing them – and quickly, too. In 2024, a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:blin𝕴dfolded Tears of the ⛎Kingdom speedrunner finished the game in under three hours. "CrystalSaver," the man behind the BlindfoldedGaming website, was also able to beat Tears of the Kingdom 11 months ago in under an hour – 59 minutes and eight seconds, to be exact – as showcased in a video of his full run.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Don't trust Nintendo to tell you how fast your loadout really is in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World because, just like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the game seems to be hiding al🌌l sorts of stats.

In Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart World, the game displays some basic information about you♏r character and your karts' stats shortly before ♔a race - speed, acceleration, weight, and handling included. Bigger characters, like Bowser, usually hit higher maximum speeds than the smaller names on the roster, like the babies.

But anyone knee deep in🅘 the Mario Kart 8 meta knows the game's basic stats don't paint the full picture💃. The game secretly hides stats about how fast your character/kart combo goes in water, on land, in the air, and even how effective turbo boosts are - and Mario Kart World is seemingly just as secretive.

If Mario Kart World's stat screen is to be believed at face value, then Waluigi and Wario shoul♔d move just as fast as each other when driving in the same vehicle. They are in the same weight class, after all, right? Wrong!

YouTuber svcTyler recently conducted some early testing on the subject and found that cer🐬tain character/kart combinations are actually faster than others, despite the game promising they have exactly the same stats. What's even more unusual is that different characters seem to go faster depending on the very terrain they're driving on - Wario seems to be the fastest on normal tracks, while Cow has a slight advantage on muddier dirt roads, for example.

Content creator Austin John Plays also found that , though we still need to wait until more extensive community testing comes through to know what's really going on (unless Nintendo just tells us, but what are the chances of that happening?) since didn't find anything fishy in its early test🌜ing.

For now, check out how to find all P-Switch locations in Mario Kart World and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:all Mario Kart World outfits.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Right at the end of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, viewers got a glimpse of what might just be one of the most hotly anticipated games' release windows – that of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong – and now, developers are even teasing DLC.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong appearance during the ROG Xbox Ally reveal filled fans with hope – a hope that was further solidified when a launch window 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:sometime "b✃efore" the Holiday season was confirmed. Not only are players finally getting the Metroidvania sequel they've now waited for since its 2019 conception, though, but they've also apparently got DLC to look forward to already – orꦚ so Team Cherry says.

Seemingly suggesting that future content is indeed in the studio's plans, marketing lead Matthew "Leth" Griffin speaks up in content creator Primacon's live chat during a stream on , as the YouTuber suggests that "Silkposting" (AKA the wild online posting we've seen from fans desper🌳ate for the game over the years since its announcement) is "no𒁃t gonna go away" even after the Metroidvania has released.

"There's always DLC," read the developer's words – words that carry a💞n ominous possibility in the eyes of some fans. As players write on a thread regarding the "reveal" (if you can call it that), it's all too reminiscent of Silksong's origin.

from

For anyone unaware, the sequel started as DLC for the first Metroidvania, but spiraled into a full game of its own due to the scope of the project. Six long years have passed since then, eight in total if counting back from the original Hollow Knight's release, with little word from Team Cherry until the recent Xbox Games Sho♑wcase. It's understandable, then, that players worry the "DLC" hinted at by Griffin could unfold into a similar situation.

As one writes, "Sure hope this DLC doesn't turn into a full-fledged game that takes eight years to develop." Another frustrated fan exclaims, "RELEASE THE GOD DAMN GAME BEꦐFORE TALKING ABOUT DLC!" Elsewhere, a player asks, "How do they confirm DLC before a release date f🐼or the base game?"

While there's obviously no telling what will happen yet, it's safe to say the community doesn't want DLC right now – fans want Silksong.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> SAG-AFTRA has finally s𒁏uspended its strike against major game companies after almost a year of negotiations.

The US-based union that represents performing talent of all kinds said the strike is only suspended, not ended, because members still need to approve the tentative agreement it reached only earlier this week. "If approved, it will be sent out for ratification by the union’s membership in accordance with established policy," SAG-AFTRA explained. "Details of the agreement will be released a🐽t that time.

"All SAG-AFTRA members a🔜re instructed to return to work on productions under the IMA [Interactive Media Agreement], including work promoting or publicizing projects produced under the IMA."

For those not in the know, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:SAG-AFTRA officially kꦕicked off its strike against multiple developers and publishers last summer to gain "critical AI protections," better wages, and more. At the💃 time, SAG-AFTRA's national executive director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland said that video game actors "deserve and demand the same fundamental protections as performers in film, television, streaming, and music: fair compensation and the right of informed consent for the AI use of their faces, voices, and bodies."

Generative AI has been a particularly hot topic in the games industry, with multiple actors - from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Baldur's Gate 3's Samantha Béart, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Starfield star Elias Toufexis, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mass Effect icon Jennifer Hale, and so many more - condemning companies looking 𝓀to replace human actors with the burgeoning tech.

Gaming executives, on the other hand, have been comically bullish abo﷽ut using generative AI in game development for years - or, in other words, not paying people - with only Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick really acknowledging that games are m𓂃ade thanks to real humans𒈔' "creative genius."

But earlier this week, SAG-AFTRA that it had finally reached a "tentative agreement" with companies included in the IMA, including Disney Charღacter Voices, Activision Productions, Electronic Arts Productions, Insomniac Games, Take 2 Productions, WB Games, and other external production compan♎ies that help to provide mocap for studios like Ubisoft.

Speaking to , IMA spokesperson Audrey Cooling said the agreement "delivers historic wage increases of over 24% for performers, enhanced health and safety protections, and indu🗹stry-leading AI provisions requiring transparency, consent, and compensation for the use of digital replicas in games." We'll hear what SAG-AFTRA members think of the deal soon.

Ex Helldivers, WoW devs' studio CEO says AI "was supposed to vacuum my house" but "some ridiculous Silicon Valley tech bros" decided to have it make art instead

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> While we're still reeling from the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:random Nintendo Today app announcement of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splatoon game, Nintendo has also released a brand new patch for Splatoon 3 to introduce s💟ome new upgrades for players on Switch 2. However, to maintain consistency across consoles, Nintendo has had to downgrade the original Switch version of Splatoon 3.

Alongside the new Splatoon 3 update 10.0.0, Nintendo released a batch of and while the Nintendo Switch 2 notes are all very nice and pleasant, featuring the likes of "smoothed animations for certain characters", "made it so the screen displays in more detail", and m🦂aking the movement smoother in a number of areas, Switch 1 didn't get an upgrade.

Nintendo's notes say, "Made it so that certain elements outside the stage and unrelated to battle do not display when battling in Sꦅplat Zones/Tower Control/Rainmaker/Clam Blitz modes." Due to the Switch 2 being a far more powerful system, this h꧋as been done to "reduce differences in game operation speed as much as possible when compared with Nintendo Switch 2," as it would risk giving players on the new console an advantage otherwise.

Outside of that, the patch notes are pretty standard, new weapons, balance changes to existing weapons, and the 🌃return of the beloved Urchin Underpass map from the original Splatoon game. And that should tide us over until we get some more details about Splatoon Raiders.

If Splatoon Raiders (or even the better visuals of Splatoon 3) have you interested in a Switch 2, you should really check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 review.

We found 375 P-Switches in Mario Kart World, but estimate there could be between 380 and 400 P-Switches (as some have likely eluded us). Nintendo has not confirmed the exact number of P-Switches in Mario Kart༒ World yet.

Given there's so many P-Switches, we've broken the main map in⛦to five smaller maps: the north/northwest, northeast, middle, southeast and west regions.

These are all the P-Switch locations in the Meadows (light green) region of Mario K💞art World:

  1. Race around a tribute to Choco Island 1 - In the middle of the road that runs around the lake near Choco Mountain.
  2. Jump into a local amateur race - At the train station to the left of a Yoshi frozen yoghurt shop window (the side with the sign.)
  3. Grab some easy blue coins…and one tricky one - On the grass under the "Under the Toad Manufacturing" billboard near a Yoshi frozen yoghurt shop.
  4. Grab blue coins among the Para-Biddybugs! - In a field northwest of Peach Stadium.
  5. Dash, dash, dash through the thick chocolate! - Enter Choco Mountain from the northwest and find this P-Switch on a corner with yellow road that merges onto the main race course.
  6. Focus on the blue coins in a sea of gold! - At the end of the Choco Mountain race track, when you get to the sparklets, turn right instead of making the jump to find a green pipe that takes you to the P-Switch.
  7. Watch out for falling chocolate! And rocks! - Drive around the Choco Mountain racetrack. When you get to the northern part of the track you should see a P-Switch to your right, at the foot of a very steep yellow hill.
  8. Race along a risky shortcut! - From number 7, drive up the steep yellow hill. You will find the next P-Switch at the top.
  9. Take an off road route to Choco Mountain! - Continue along the road leading northeast from the top of the hill and slight right onto the first path at the fork in the road. You'll see the P-Switch in front of you.
  10. Show everyone the slopes aren't off limits! - From number 8, follow the main road toward 9, but instead of turning right onto the dirt road, carry along the main road. When you come to a fork in the road, go left, and find a P-Switch on the grass under a yellow road sign.
  11. Take to the skies high above Peach Stadium - Left of the Yoshi cake shop on the ground floor of Peach Stadium
  12. Trick your way to the top of the gate - Inside Peach Stadium, near the south gate. Slowly drive into the stadium through the gate and to your left, near the main road that goes upward. Instead of going up the road, go through the stacks of tires to the right and drive a short distance to the P-Switch on the paving stones by the toadstool lamp.
  13. Clear the lake! Don't become fish food! - On the left, under some covering, as you head toward the roundabout located at the north entrance of Peach Stadium (make sure the stadium and roundabout are in front of you!)
  14. Note the shortcut through the stadium's garden! - Outside Peach Stadium, by a wall to the northeast.
  15. Collect blue coins along a scenic back route! - In the garden by the bridge leading into the east entrance of Peach Stadium.
  16. Use a delicate touch to reach the goal pole - Drive to the very end of the left peninsula south of Peach Stadium, when you get there, you'll see two higher plateaus. Don't go up, instead drive around the right-hand side to find the P-Switch.
  17. Race through the figure-eight time trial - On a boulder in the water south of Peach Stadium. It's between the two green kidney-bean-shaped islands, toward the north-east of the right island.
  18. Hit the ramps and reach the goal - In the water north of the Star Lake.
  19. Chase whoever is tearing up the meadows! - Left of Moo Moo Meadows. Keep driving south from the red windmill until you spot it.
  20. Trust that there's a blue coin reason for the pipe - Inside Moo Moo Meadows barn, between four bales of Hay.
  21. Bounce up! Drop down! Grab the blue coins! - North of Moo Moo Meadows, at the corner of the crossroad closest to the field where a Toad is sitting on a stack of hay bales.
  22. Moove through the herd of cows! - North and slight left of the barn in Moo Moo Meadows, near a Yoshi's food truck.
  23. Hop over the meadows and launch to the goal! - On the plateau across from the red windmill in Moo Moo Meadows
  24. Gather the scattered blue coins! - Under the green pipe bridge and railway bridge north of Toad's Factory.
  25. To the air! To the water! - On a boulder by the river north/north east of Moo Moo Meadows. Head to the part of the river where the map shows a single plateau on the right-hand-side of the river and you'll find it on the opposite side.
  26. Race downhill to reach the lake in time! - On the grass beside the railway tracks running north/south to the west of Moo Moo Meadows.
  27. Dash up the river and reach the goal! - At the southernmost part of the river, near Moo Moo Meadows.
  28. Tear up the mountain pass before time runs out! - Over the bridge east of Moo Moo Meadows, you'll find it on the left, near the cluster of three yellow plateaus.

  33. Catch the express train to the city! - On a boulder near the train tracks.

  39. Race through the dinosaur filled streets - Drive the road that leads up to Bayside Coffee in the south of Crown City. Stop when you reach the start of the building and you'll find a small ledge to the left, behind a metal barrier. The P-Switch, and a green-and-white egg, are there.
  40. Take a parkour tour of Crown City! - Across the street from P-Switch 35 is a building with some ivy hanging from it. The P-Switch is on top of the building, behind the Traffic Apparel billboard. Use a passing blue truck's ramp to glide up there.
  41. Grab that parking spot! Fast! - On the roof of Yoshi's Food Factory, in central Crown City (there's a Yoshi's Hamburgers sign diagonally across from it). You need to wait for a blue ramp truck to pass and use it to glide onto the rooftop. Alternatively, you can drive to the top of the multi-story car park nearby and glide from there.
  42. Ride the urban railings to collect blue coins! - Another rooftop P-Switch. This one is on top of the music store (under a Drink Refresh billboard) in the north of Crown City. Fortunately, you can grind your way to this one. Follow the red building beside the shop around the block until you reach a ramp going downward, toward a much larger pipe. Jump on the pipe and grind to the P-Switch.
  43. Gather blue coins on the park's twists and turns! - Behind the West Greens Park sign in western Crown City.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> The demo I'm playing at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest begins like the first bite of ice cream. It's innocent, but I prepare myself for the moment it becomes obvious why the horror masters at M3GAN🃏 studio Blumhouse are pu✃blishing a cozy farming sim.

I decide to get in the mood for tragedy by being as much of a bitch as possible. A supernaturally buff townsperson, Hari, saunters by to welcome me to Ashenridge, a seemingly quaint country town which the previous owner of my little cottage happened to flee without warning. But Grave Seasons' ܫprotagonist, like myself as a horror obsessive, seems attracted to fear.

Perfect Garbage co-founder and Gr♊ave Seasons narrative directℱor Emmett Nahil tells me Grave Seasons' particular brand of fright is influenced by folk horror, '50s Hollywood Hammer horror, and – I could cry when I hear this – my favorite werewolf movie, Ginger Snaps (2000).

So, I vow to ignore the splotch of what looks like dried blood on the edge of the chimney, an🅷d when Hari questions why I, obviously not the tomato-planting type, decided to move in, I tell him, "None of your business."

What's my business, for now, is plucking some of the fresh strawberries and bamboo shoots out of my already fertile garden plot and chucking in some carrot seeds instead. I go through the motions, pulling out my watering can, testing out the pickaxe, and finding a strange signet ring in a pile of trash, in a moment that reminds me of horror fishin🐻g game Dredge. I walk around sand pathways, tree roots, and make myself a vegetarian snack – passing time until the moon is high, and I can meet my new friend Pilar in the woods to pick night-blooming herbs.

Nahil prefers Grave Seasons' occult crafting, too, which yields things like "prevention items, which may help you prev𒁏ent attacks by the killer," he says. "Any of those [occult] crafting moments are always really fun, because there's a lot of tension behind them." Since Grave Seasons features multiple killers and monsters, I predict there aren't any amulets that can gua🌞rantee 100% safety.

Plus, "on🔯e of the really fun things about the game," adds Perfect Garbage lead programmer Nikky Armstrong, "is, when it launches, everybody's getting a different experience, because every time you start a new game, it's randomly selected who the killer is going to be."

In these words, I sense unrelenting danger. This makes me more eager, and, without me asking explicitly, Nahil informs me that "you may potentially be able to romance the killer." As I'm still nursing my celebrity 🌜crush on Katharine Isabelle, Ginger Snaps' mean girl werewolf, I'm comforted by this.

Be careful what you wait for. (Image credit: Perfect Garbage)

So I keep waiting for the sun to set. Eventually, blue daylight gives way to Halloween orange, and then dusk finally falls and tur✱ns Ashenridge black. Then, I notice the world has started sounding different – angrier.

"As you p꧒lay through the full game," Nahil says, "[the sound deꦆsign] will change as the town itself changes, which is really cool."

"Not only through the seasons," he explains, "but through specific romance arcs, or ♍through specific instances of how many kills have occurred. How dark is the town by the end of the game – those things will change the sound."

I don't let it deter me. Just as I did in the comparable pixel art, horror life sim 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Little Goody Two Shoes, I allow myself to be led into the witch's woods. When I get there, I see Pilar fending off absolute darkness with her soft-glowing lantern, and then I see her succumbing to a werewolf who's snuck up behind her. It takes her in its mouth and 🅰crushes her body like flower petals.

Her blood and parts are strewn all over the grass, and my heart twitches, but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't the kind of moment I live for in games. Sometimes I think artไ doesn't feel visceral to me unless I can see actual viscera. These moments of fragility force me to confront my own, and it's meditative. That's wh💃y the horror genre is one of the only things I can rely on to make me feel better about the actual threatening, unkind world, every time.

On that note, Nahil says fans who are considering playing Grave Seasons should know that "if you are a cozy gamer, and if you love farming sims, we are really hoping that you'll let us take you someplace a little bit diffe๊rent," says Nahil. "If you are a horror gam𝕴er, let us take you someplace maybe a little bit cozier."

"Our goal is to match genres and br🐓idge that gap between those players," he continues, "because we really believe, as a studio, that they're maybe not so different after all."

Grave Seasons is now available to🙈 wishlist on Steam, and it'll also eventually arrive on all major🌌 consoles, including Switch 2.

Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe says the "world of Haunted Chocolatier" will somehow be even "larger" than his farming sim – the same one I already have over 1,000 hours in.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Yoko Taro, the legendary developer behind 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nier: Automata, isn't shy about licensing his characters like 2B out to other games. Nier devs previously said they "澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:will gladly say yes to anything for money," but now Yoko may be regretting his collaboration with Goddess of Victory: Nikke.

"After Nikke and Nier collaborated, many Nier cosplayers – especially those in more🍌 revealing outfits – started switching over to Nikke cosplay and stopped cosplaying Nier characters," Yoko says in an interview with Nikke and Stellar B🎃lade devs from Shift Up, first spotted by Genki on . "And I wondered, 'Maybe we shouldn't have done the collab.'"

Everyone then laughed, so it seems like Yoko was just joking about being jealous that his fans were now cosplaying characters from another game. Considering the Nier and Nikke collab is coming back July 3, we shouldn't seriously think Yoko is upset about the ꧃two games working together.

Nikke is infamous for its titillating robot soldier women characters. They're all pret🌳ty curvy and scantily clad for… reasons, and they're the ones who must save humanity from mechanical alien invaders. So, in all honesty, I can see the similarities between Nier: Automata and Stellar Blade just based on their settings.

Yoko really is serious about earning more money from his games, though. He once said that he and producer Yosuke Saito would sell copies of Nier: Replicant out the back of a truck if that's what it took to ship it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> In the run-up to last week's Switch 2 launch, preview events and video presentations only answered so man♔y questions about what to expect. Nintendo left one intriguing feature much more under wraps than you might expect for a "sequel" console: how it handles backwards compatibility. To find out, I've spent the console's first week 🔯obsessing over how well the original Switch library of games translates to a next-generation combination of hardware and portable screen.

Is the Switch 2 a bonafide back-compat success, so much so that Nintendo fans can trade in their original consoles? Or does it lead to errors and issues that would necessitate keeping an old Switch around? So far, the answer is a little bit of botཧh.

What's going on with NS1 games on NS2?

Our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 review covers everything you need to know before buying the N🐽intendo's latest handheld

Unlike past Nintendo console transitions with shared game libraries, the Switch 2 employs an entirely new processor-and-hardware combination compared to its prior generation. Cons♍oles like the Game Boy Advance, Wii, and 3DS included their predecessors' core hardware, which meant running old software was as simple as having old discs and cartridges access their relevant, older bits of the motherboard. No emulation or trickery required.

Switch 2, on the other hand, uses an upgraded-but-different Nvidia chipset and motherboard, which means backwards compatibility is achieved using a process that Nintendo technology development manager Tetsuya Sasaki "converting game data for Switch to run on Switch 2… on a real-time basis as the data is read inཧ." This is better known as a translation layer, and it means Switch 1 games do not run identically on Switch 2. But it's also not the same as the popular practice of software emulation. In particular, most Switch 1 games' code is passed along and processed identically on Switch 2.

In the case of software emulation, a system's games can be run with wildly different parameters – in one Nintendo-specific example, GameCube games emulated on Switch 2 via the NSO ser𝄹vice ha🌼ve much sharper pixel counts than GameCube's maximum 480p resolution. At this time, Switch 2's translation layer is nowhere near as disruptive – though it can, in certain circumstances, unlock Switch 2's power for Switch 1 games in interesting ways.

When it's not exactly "backwards compatibility"

Nintendo has been bullish about select first- and third-party titles playing better on Switch 2, but many of the games in question have been patched to work as Switch 2-native software. That means they can tap into every hardware maximum available on the newer syst🎀em, instead of having their code passed through the aforementioned backwards-compatibility process.

Some of these updates are free, while others cost anywhere from $10 to $20 for existing customers. (A few Switch 2-updated games, like Sega's Sonic X Shadow Generations, are only available at a full retail price, blurgh.)

The Zelda duology of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have their "Switch 2 Edition" patches available as $10 purchases each, or as part of a NSO Expansion Pack subscription ($50/year in the US). However you pay for them, you absolutely should; they're easily the best examples of transformative Switch 2 patches. In addition to hi𝔍gher resolutions (1080p in portable mode, native 2160p when docked), each game includes higher resolution textures, vastly improved shadow fidelity, and loading times sliced in half.

So far, Nintendo hasn't patched every Switch game it's made for Switch 2 just yet, and free third-party patches are even scarcer, with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:No Man's Sky and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite being the biggest recipients of such love. The former now includes a sweeping visual update of far more detailed worlds and more stable frame rates, and the latter errs on the side of nearly locked 60 fps performance at the cost of looking as graphically meek as its Xbox Series S port – but, hey, Fortnite finally looks and runs decently on a portable console.

Back-compat at its best

"Your jᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚourney to find the most🦩 improved Switch 1 games on Switch 2 will likely feel sporadic"

As of the Switch 2's first week of existence, the general rule of thumb is as follows: if a game launched on Switch 1 with unlocked frame rates or other scalable features, and thus ran out of performance headroom on thꦗe older system, it'll benefit the most from Switch 2's increased power. Switch 2's GPU and CPU are each much faster, and in general, games that are able to take advantage of these jumps in performance do so without noticeable bugs or issues.

As a pointed example, the 2021 re-release of id Software's seminal Quake on Switch 1 included optional toggles for modern visual effects like dynamic shadows and ambient occlusion, and these slowed the game down from its 60 fps maximum. Turn these on while playing the same game on Switch 2, and the slowdown goes away. (The same goes for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, a stylish Jet Set Radio-like game that hid a performance-pushing option called "unleash the beast" on its 🍷Switch 1 version, which the Switch 2 can now comfortably render.)

Most Switch 1 games don't include such obvious PC-like toggles, however. This means your journey to find the most improved Switch 1 games on Switch 2 will likely feel sporadic. Which ones are better? And how are they docked compared to portable mode? There's really no way to comprehensively answer this with a libr♊ary as extensive as Switch 1's, but I've so🍰 far uncovered a few highlights.

Bayonetta 3 and Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-Tered are some of the best examples of꧟ games that shipped with 60 fps limits but couldn't reach those performance bounds on the weaker Switch 1. The former now moves at a blistering pace while players rack up gun-and-melee combos, while the latter no longer buckles under the weight of screen-filling explosions, particles, and physics reactions. Both generally stick to a consistent 60 fps refresh, as opposed to suffering from routine frame time spikes.

The Switch-exclusive brawler Marvel Ultimate Alliance jumps to a 𒁃stable 30 fps on Switch 2, turning it from a slog to a delightful beat-'em-up. The same goes for the goofy arcade racing fun of Cruis'n Blast, also a Switch exclusive and also much more fun thanks to its consistent 30 fps refresh on Switch 2.

And in a few scant cases, thanks to the Switch 2's VRR mode in portable play, Switch 1 games can even exceed 60 fps while looking smooth - which is currently the case with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Minecraft, which looks and runs phenomenally on Switch 2.

Not necessarily a magic wand

Borderlands 3

But in any case where a backwards-compatible game enjoys increased frame rates or loading times, and hasn't received a Switch 2-specific patch, you'll run into the issue of resolution not being updated. If a game ran at a very low resolution in either portable or docked mode on Switch 1, it will almost certainly do the same on Switch 2. Even when Switch 1 games inc🌃luded "dynamic resolution" options to increase pixe💞l counts in select circumstances, these don't typically trigger on Switch 2 for players' benefit.

Also, in portable play, the Switch 2's backwards-compatibility mode has to upscale any image from a 720p maximum to a 1080p panel. For most games and content, this isn't necessarily a noticeable difference, and you'll 𒐪have to squint to notice significant issu꧂es with pixel scaling. The exception comes from any games that revolve around chunky, integer-scaled pixels, like 2017's Sonic Mania. In that unpatched game in particular, any significant motion will result in a smeary, ghosting effect on the screen, thanks to whatever bilinear upscaling filter is being applied.

One easy solution for this would be for Nintendo to institute a 3DS-like option to render Switch 1 games on the Switch 2 panel at their original docked resolution, with black bars on all sides–thus shrinking the imag🎃e, but still at least giving players a purer, integer-scaled option with less ghosting and other artifacts. As of press time, no such toggle appears to be available for Switch 1 games on Switch 2.

There's additionally the matter of games exhibiting weird behavior thanks to the translation layer employed in getting Switch 1 games working on Switch 2. I've seen multiple games crash in various menus, including the 2017 beat-'em-up Wulver Blade and the 2019 Ubisoft stunt motorcycle game Trials Rising, even though they're not listed in Nintendo's directory of games with known issues. (The latter, I will add, appears to run at a slightly less consistent frame rate on Switch 2 than on Switch 1.) And Switch 1💙 games like Borderlands 3 exhibit occasional flickering, screen tearing, and strobing effects when played on Switch 2.

Verdict: A solid start with more to hopefully come

For many of Switch 1's games with performance or image fidelity issues, changes and patches may simply never come, owing to old code no longer maintained by studios that have likely disbanded since their years-old games launched. Again, as this isn't a matter of software emulation, such improvements would need to be instituted on a game-by-game basis, with Nintendo mostly being limited to tweaking its translation layer to be more accurate,𒅌 not more efficient or prettier.

But it's likely Nintendo will have more patches to come for its own first-party games, as it's already rolled out a surprise Splatoon 3 announcement in the past week. And if the game-transforming likes of Red Faction 🌠Guerrilla Re-Mars-Tered (currently on sale for 90% off at the Nintendo eShop) are any indication, perhaps game-specific patches will spur increased sales on Switch 2, thus incentivizing other publishers to sweeten their older games' Switch 2 poten𝓀tial.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Charles Martinet was the iconic 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:voice of Mario for 32 years, a phenomenally impressive run. These days, he's been replaced by Kevin Afghani, who voices the character in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, but still serves as a Mario ambassador. Turns out, there are some things he won't do in ord𒁏er to "maintain the integ🌃rity" of the plumber.

Internet personality and comedian Ricky Berwick tweets a picture of him and Martinet, alongside the caption: "Charles Martinet wasn't ev꧃en allowed to do the voice of Mario or any of his iconic character's voices either at the convention I attended over the weekend. It's a fucking shame."

He adds, Martinet only "Wasn't allowed to on video fyi," but "off camera was fine." One person , "Y💛eah, when I met him, I wanted to do a video with him and his voice, but he wasn’t allowed to, since he’s under a contract."

"Oh Ricky. I do the Voice for every Fan I meet. I just don’t improvise non-Mario phrases or dialogue," Martinet replies. "That’s my choice to be sure. I always maintain the integrity of the character. But come and visit me at any Comic Con or Fan expo and you’ll hear 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Mario for sure!"

I wonder what the strangest request he's had to turn down is? I imagine a lot of people want to hear Mario say s༒ome weird stuff, so I understand why this is a rule Martinet has imposed on himself.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> I'll always appreciate the simplicity of a video game title lik𒀰e Date Everything that does what it says on the tin. In this debut romance from Sassy Chap Games you really do date just about everything you can set your peepers on, and with 100 'dateables' to meet, all within your household and all fully voiced, that frequently is more than you'd expect. Handsome himbos hide in the closet, bickering besties are a door away, and drama is afoot in the laundry room. Meeting a new character is always a joyous surprise, even if at times it can bend under the weight of the sheer ambition juggling 100 characters is always going to demand.

Just how are you doing so much dating in a single household? Simple – they are, for the most part, the objects around your house made real. After losing your job to AI, you're sent the company's latest in-development wearable💖 tech: the Dateviators – sunglasses that allow you to DATE (Directly Acknowledge a Thing's Existence) anything you see. From objects themselves – chairs, fridges, shelves – to more abstract concepts – water, air, dread – you can🦂 meet and grow closer to these characters to strike up friendships… and maybe more.

With a freeform structure, your goal is mostly what you want to make it, revolving around exploring your house in three-dimensions and getting to better know whatever catches your eye. Each character has a little storyline to follow as you get to know them, bestowing you SPEC stat points (think 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5) once you've reached a relationship milestone with them, which in turn allow you to choose new dialogue branches and even, later on, help resolve character🦹s' problems and enable them to have closur🌄e with their own ending sequences.

Friendship, Love, or Hate – all the options will net you those sweet, sweet points. It's mostly up to you what you gun for, though as satisfying as it is to end up hated by your extremely suspect dishwasher who refuses to stop pestering you about connecting to the internet to unlock more features, Hate can also be a sort of 'lose' condition if you rub a character the wrong𝄹 way. It'll stop you from being able to resolve their ending, though a limited candy resource you can nab later on does allow you some wriggle room in getting to turn hatred back into friendship.

With 100 characters to juggle, a game like Date Everything is only going to be able to get so deep with some of them. E෴ach player is bound to have their own favorites, but I 🌱enjoyed the stories the most that lean into the community aspect of the household at large, lapping up the surprising drama that comes from the interactions all these seemingly mundane elements have with one another. It makes the world feel alive.

Harper and Dirk reflect on their toxic relationship in Date Everything

The washer and dryer, Washford and Drysdale, used to be an item, but their relationship has been on the rocks, for instance. Or Friar Errol, the air fryer who drives the rest of the kitchen up tꦺhe wall (sorry, Wall, the stoic wall) preaching the good word of the oil-free kitchen appliance. Or the on-again-off-again lovers Harper, the clothes hamper, and Dirk, your dirty clothes who scurries away once cleaned. For me, Date Everything is at its best when it makes the world of the Dateables feel like a hidden second world that already has its own dynamics you're only now privy to.

I also like how some storylines lean into the fact you're walking around a house – Bobby Pin, a, well, gangster loving bobbypin🦂, searches the house for new places to run scams, meaning you have to track them down each time you want to talk again. But Date Everything really steals my heart when the storytelling leans into the abstract nature of the world beyond what you can see. Each visit to Eddie and Volt, the pair in charge of your house's electricity, sees you enter the Breaker Box Club where other Dateables gather to watch talent shows and sip on cocktails. It requires some use of my own imagination – the player is otherwise just staring into a cupboard – but I'm used to battle scenes playing out with the same handful of sword strike .gifs again and again in Fate/Stay Night so believe me I can manage. The idea of shoving yourself inexplicably into a nightclub in your closet is just wonderful.

Friar Error presents you with fries sans oil in Date Everything

But, as I mentioned, with so many characters some are just going to feel like they have more lightweight storylines. While some play out over the course of many interactions, others will only have one or two before they basically straight up ask if you want to bang or just be friends. While there are a🌊 few that seem to have more stringent Love conditions, a lot of the time you just follow through their story and then it's presented on a plate for꧂ you to choose.

There ar💫e other times where that lack of nuance can also frustrate. Make one ill-advised click or even misread the tone of a comment and you may be thrust onto the path of Hate with very little warning and no way to apologize, inelegantly off-ramped after feeling like you did nothing wrong. In at least one case too, where character storylines collided, I first met a character only to have them Hate me within seconds.

Stella the Stairs hates us in Date Everything

That compounds with the sense that though yo♛u constantly have a lot of choices of what to say in conversation, it often doesn't feel like what you say matters all too much. At one point a comment I thought would be jokey actually turned out to be very mean, but then I onlܫy received two equally mean options to respond with to follow up – railroaded on the path of Hate.

When you do have more of an actual choice, it's often between just being extremely nice or rude (or answering some trivia questions). With so many characters, it often feels like you talk to them the same way to get the same results – which may be why I prefer the extra depth that comes from the interpersonal drama. Date 𝐆Everything is filled to the brim with content (yes, bring the hammers on me for using the c-word), easily taking at least 20 hours to see everything, but reflecti💖ng on the interaction, it can feel a bit shallow.

Where the heart is

Mac comments on the extreme lengths you use your PC for in Date Everything

At times interactions can also feel a bit fiddly. Some Dateables require you to talk to them again at specific times of day, but leave it too long and forget when and they'll refuse to chat. They'll remind you of the conditions, at least, but this uses up one of your chances to talk to them a day (you can have five conversations a day, and can only use one per Dateableꦕ) meaning you have to wait a full day to try again.

The same can be true on scavenger hunts – one having me track down missing animals but refusing to receive them until a day had passed. Or times whe🧸re an object that has multiple conversation-starting points (every window, for instance, is one character) keeps asking me to try to talk to them in different areas, meaning I go through days just trying to find where the next proper event is. There's no time limit, so it's no big deal, but it can create situations that feel more like housework than a stay at home holiday.

It'd be easier to handle if there were some more quality of life perks tཧo the UI. I wish it was clearer what Dateable you were looking at when aiming down sights to strike up a conversation, and it's alway𒁃s a bit of a pet peeve of mine when text-heavy games don't have text logs or the ability to auto-play – common features in most visual novels.

It's always a delight to see how t🐷his household object or concept is brought to life.

Yet, even though no𓆏t all storylines are equal and the writing is hit and miss – the characters themselves are where Date Everything really shines. From flourishes to the character design to how they speak and what they're called, almost every Dateable iꦡn the hundred strong lineup (and there's more via DLC) is a hit, expertly riffing off the concept they're based on. I could spend paragraphs pointing out my favorites – some of whom I've already discussed – but every time you meet one it's impossible not to be smiling. The designs are just that charming.

There's Abel the table embodying the quiet strength of wood, with his old-timey cowboy-like mannerisms! Fre🔯ddy the friꦿdge Yeti who takes food safety very seriously and opens himself up to give you late night snacks! Your computer, Mac, who knows all your fanfic secrets and is desperate for an upgrade! Date Everything is a masterclass in character design, from the artwork to character motivations to the voice talent (just about everyone you've heard in something else is present here), it's always a delight to see how a household object or concept is brought to life.

Date Everything𓂃's characters might not always go too far beyond that initial wonder, though. Hugely ambitious though it is, how could many of the 100 characters feel like more than quick-if-delightful sketches? But it's also a testament to the strength of those designs that still, many do, and many of them will stick with you. Dat𝐆e Everything is far from perfect, but its cast of characters are well worth meeting at least once. And who knows? Sparks may fly.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> If you ask me, Street Fighter 6 is the best game in the Nintendo Switch 2's roster of launch ports. But being an incredible game doesn't necessarily mean it'll transfer well to being a good fit for the Switch; as we saw a fair few times during the life of the original Switch. And if that original Switch taught me anyt⛎hing, it's not especially great for fighting games, due to the Joy-Con's lack of a d-pad and the Pro Controller's d-pad – which was perhaps the mushiest d-pad ever conceived for an official controller. But after spending 10 more hours with Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, the successor console may finally be fit to fight.

Is this the ideal way to play Street Fighter 6? Probably not. If you have a PS5 or PC, you're probably better suited to going with one of those versions if you're looking to buy just one copy of Street Fighter 6. But, as an additive to one of this decade's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games, it's a great little gem to have for playing a quick round away from your TV. Granted, the full potential of having a companion version isn't quite as nice as something like Fortnite or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077, where you can continue y𓄧our progress across consoles, but it's nice for brushing up on things.

On its own, the fighting feels as great as ever; the actual battles run at a solid 60fps and it looks real good for being a handheld game. The issues that Street Fighter 6 has are still present in this version, like an overabundance of SF2 characters and that zoning bastard JP making for the weakest roster in a while (although Terry, Mai, Elena, and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Season 3 cast remedy this somewhat).

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Street Fighter 6 review: "Aꦫrguably the best overall fighting game package ev🍸er made"

The biggest letdown is actually in the World Tour mode. Street Fighter 6's story mode was effectively a Yakuza game where you travel around the world learning the ropes from th𒀰e greatest fighters while buffing your🃏 character to the next level.

It's a great idea and would perfectly suit the handheld form, but unfortunately it's locked at 30fps, and is the roughest-looking part of the experience. Locked to 30fps in the overworld would be fine, but when it gets to the battles, the game feels rough, especially if you've just played the silky-smooth🌱 regular battles.

Then there are the Switch 2 exclusive modes. The gist of these is that you're going to want to waggle a Joy-Con to cont꧂rol the battle. This is just a party game mode thrown in to give the Switch 2 something extra, but it doesn't even feel that good as a party game compared to throwing on the game's pre-existing Modern or Dynamic control schemes, which are fit for new players.

Plus, it's way less elaborate than that weird fir🍒st-person mode they had in Ultra Street Fighter 2 on the original Switch (yes, that mode was awful, but it was something different!).

Pros and Cons

Street Fighter 6 screenshot on Switch 2 of Terry Bogard taunting a downed Juri

Take yourself back to a couple of minutes ago when I wrote off the original Switch Pro Controller's d-pad. While the Pro Controller 2 may look like it's doing absolutely no🤪thing new, it changed itself in the right way – that d-pad feels good to use.

In Street F🗹ighter 6, I play Zangief, who – for those who don't know – has specials that require you to do a full 360 motion and hit a button to execute (or a 720 in his super's case). Doing this on the Switch 1's Pro Controller, which ranged from hitting misinputs or just being generally mediocre, felt nigh-impossible.ꦍ With the new one I'm hitting them like nobody's business. Also, I can map my EX Spinning Lariat to one of the back buttons, which hits different in ways I can't explain.

This alone cemented to me that being the jackass who spent THAT much money on a Switch 2🥂 Pro Controller when I already own many (I'm not saying how many) of the original console's ones, which work on the Switch 2, was actually ♏the right choice.

That being said, controls aren't per༺fect either. Obviously the handheld mode Switch itself still has that lack of a d-pad, meaning that doing those pesky fighting game inputs can be a pain (I manage, but I'm definitely losing because of th🥃at and not due to my lack of actual fighting game skill).

Plus,☂ Drive Impact – one of Stree🌄t Fighter 6's most crucial moves – is a bit more awkward to pull off due to how small the R and ZR buttons are, which isn't the greatest feeling when you need to use them to quickly react. But granted, if you're taking Street Fighter 6 seriously, you probably won't be playing with the Joy-Cons (although I'm sure someone will win a tourney with them this year).

At the end of the day, having a solid version of the best fighting game of this generation, one you can take around and pop out at any tim🅷e, is a good enough bonus🐼 as is. That's what made the Switch so great in the first place, and it's what will make the Switch 2 great for years to come.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World hasn't even been out for a full week yet, but players have already found multiple ways to take advantage of its new mechanics 🉐for some wild shortcuts, including the new Rewind feature.

Rewind – an option that lets you quickly travel back in time to retrace your steps in the Switch 2 game – was quickly adopted by those racing against CPU racers to avoid things like blue shells🌸 and generally clown on their opponents. I'll be honest, I thought that's where the Rewind antics wou🐟ld end – after all, the feature can only be used in single-player, so you can't take the strategy online. However, it turns out it can also be used in the Time Trials mode, and one player has discovered that it can be used to complete laps incredibly quickly.

Highlighted by YouTube creator Jopes, it turns out that if you take to a course with a small enough track, like the bite-sized Koopa Troopa Beach, and then reverse backwards from the fiꦬnish line, using the Rewind feature will take you all the way around the course and complete a lap for you, all while looking like you sped your game up.

After some testing and optimizations, Jopes found that when reversღing around a route for two laps, Rewind won't just complete a full lap for you when used, but also give you a significant head-start on the next one. Af🦹ter driving as close to the inner edge of the track as possible (off-road and cutting corners over grassy patches) Jopes was able to use this to then finish off a lap with a total time just short of 13 seconds – 12.856 seconds, to be exact – achieving what was a world record lap time for the track.

At the moment, it seems unlikely that you'd be able to do this to set a world record for the whole track – after all, driving backwards is slower, so the benefit can only really be applied to a single lap, like we see above. Still, who knows what speedrunners might be able to use it for going forward – 澳洲幸💦运5开奖号码历史查询:we're already seeing some wild shortcuts as players bounce off palm trees and use the wall-riding tech to skip over corners, ♔so we can definitely expect more strategies l🎀ike this to come.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Capcom has commented on Nintendo's game-key cards on the Switch 2. Although these releases come in a physical box, the developer and publisher considers them digital sale🅠s, due to how the⛄ actual product is delivered.

The Switch 2's game-key cards are proving controversial. Rather than containing the game ♑themsel🌊ves, the small cartridges merely allow you to retrieve a copy online. Even if you get one, you still need internet access.

Putting it another🎃 wa꧑y, you're paying for a glorified download off the eShop in a regular box. This has led to questions over how these releases will be counted, as the boxes are sold in brick-and-mortar stores, but they aren’t physical games.

That's why Capcom is just counting them towards the digital total, at least for Street Fighter 6, per the company's latest f🎃inancial results. The only difference between these and giving you a redeemable code is that you can still lend these cartridges out, allowing for the second-hand market to continue.

Not everything on the Switch 2 will come in game-key card form, only certain games, purportedly because the carts currently come in one size, 64GB. Third-party releases are the most impacted by this workaround, and developers have 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:called the decision between using a p💮roper cart or a key𒀰 card "not easy."

Nintendo is aware of the consternation. "In the immediate future, physical games are still a key part of our business," Doug Bowser, head of Nintendo of America, said in May. He reiterate🍌d the value of the company's relationshi🙈p with retailers.

The move hasn't gone down well across the industry. Prolific devs have said they "hate" game-key cards, and preservationists 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:call them a "disheartening" move as the industry continues to s🍷t👍ruggle with future-proofing.

Only time will tell the extent of game-key cards in terms of the Switch 🌺2's longer-term standing.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> It's safe to say that I was initially puzzled by the bare-bones 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 HDR settings screen during setup. I'm accustomed to experimenting with multiple dials in an effort to make an image "almost visible" or select my preferred scene based on colors, but the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:gaming handheld sticks with a singular optio🐲n. Or, at least that's what I thought before realizing there's a hard-to-spot slider that will help prevent overexposure.

Accessing the additional Switch 2 HDR settings is admittedly easy, and in truth, it's not exact༺ly hidden. Nin♔tendo even tells you how to adjust things once you get to the last screen, as it says, "This is how the brightness will look when playing software. If you'd just like to adjust the brightness, you can do so by pressing Y."

Pressing Y does indeed take you to another Switch 2 HDR slider that's designed to adjust white point brightness. I feel slightly foolish for not realizing this was a thing the first time around, but in my defence, Nintendo's phrasing reads like it's expecting you to simply tune in your 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:gaming TV💃 settings using the image rather than use th⛦e console.

If you're lucky, you'll already be enjoying the pretty HDR sunsets and sun-soaked roads of Mario Kart World. But, I immediately noticed that everything looked a bit too blown out on my LG OLED C4, and scaling backꦉ the Switch 2's white point brightness helped preserve darker shadow and midtone details lost as a re𝓰sult of overexposure.

In Nintendo's defence, the Switch 2 is the company's first HDR-compatible console, so it might take a few ཧupdates before it provides a more comprehensive settings screen. Some of the onus is also on your specific TV of choice, as some panels aren't going to provide great results from the get-go. For example, if you're using an LG OLED display with Dynamic Tone Mapping, you'll want to ensure that's off or select HGIG (HDR Gaming Interest Group) so the console can deal with its own brigh🐈tness and contrast.

Unfortunately, some screens are simply going to fall short when dealing with Switch 2 HDR, especially when specific games lack support. This is usually the case for cheaper panels that lack the brightness for true certification, and forcing High Dynamic Range normally leads to woefully washed-out visuals. If you can't get the feature to play ball, I'd turn it off or set things to "compatible software o༒nly" to avoid upsetting your eyeballs.

While the console does already provide commendable HDR and 4K visuals, I'm willing t🌠o be a nerd a🍒bout it and stay in the lab coming up with the absolute best setup approach.

Just do🔥n't get me started on the whole third-party dꦑocking station situation, as I'm still grumpy about it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Nintendo has sold 3.5 million Nintendo Switch 2 consoles in the first four days it was available, making it the fastest-s💯ellin🌃g Nintendo console ever. The console maker confirmed the news on the .

On the leadup to the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo forecast that the console would sell 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:15 million units over the first year, and has hit over a fifth of that number in just four days, which makes that goal seem pretty likely to happen at this rate. Nintendo hasn't released any other sales numbers, such as the number of sales for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Mario Kart World, but you'd have to imagine those were also pretty high given that it's the big launch game for t🅰he s🦂ystem.

Considering the original Nintendo Switch sold 2.7 million consoles during its first month (), it really puts into perspective how much momentum Nintendo picked up during the Nintendo Switch era. And by comparison, the PS5 – which Sony dubbed its – had sold 4.5 million consoles in the first two months, s🐬omething Nintendo is sure toꦜ surpass if it keeps up this momentum.

And because it's customary to dunk on Nintendo's most underrated console, according to Nintendo's numbers, the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold over a quarter of the Wii U's lifetime sales in four days. Although to be fair to 🉐the Wii U, it had hit within the first two months. Plus the Switch 2 doesn't have the best version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, so who is the real winner here?

"It looks like Nintendo did a good job" – Sonic boss Takashi Iizuka says Mario Kart World looks more like an action game, whereas Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds "really" focuses on racing and competitive play.

But more than homage, it carves its own path with memorable characters and systems that also means it's not simply a retread of Undertale.

It's not completely essential to have played the 2015 game, since Deltarune isn't a sequel but rather set in a parallel universe to Undertale's, with some familiar characters and references but in a dꦕifferent context. In a subversion to many RPGs where your protagonist is a vessel for the player, you play a canonical character called🎐 Kris, a human child living in an idyllic town, complete with a church, diner, library and school, almost reminiscent of Earthbound. The difference is that rather than being set in fictionalized Americana, this world is populated by diverse monster races living harmoniously among each other, including Kris' mother Toriel, the same-but-not-the-same version of Toriel from Undertale.

Its strength fortunately doesn't lie in references to its parallel predecessor but💞 rather in the new characters Kris encounters as they stumble from their normal school day into the Dark World. This includes Susie, the scary school bully who literally threatens to bite your face off, and a mysterious prince named Ralsei. Together, you become an unlikely trio, the Lightners tasked with sealing dark founta🦩ins that have started springing up, in order to save both the worlds of the light and the dark. That may sound like your boilerplate JRPG set-up, but Deltarune's delight comes from setting up these conventions before knocking them down.

Acts of kindness

What felt revolutionary about Undertale was that it was an RPG where you were encouraged not to kill enemies but find non-violent solutions to win a battle. That's a philosophy which carries over to Deltarune, and while it may not feel as refreshing as it might have a decade ago, it🐈 still has some new twists. For starters, rather than fighting alone, you have a party, which also gives the battles the side-on view of classic Final Fantasy turn-based battles. Initially however, you have limited control over the hotheaded Susie, who would rather go in swinging her axe. For Undertale fans, it sets up a fascinating conundrum of trying to win a battle non-violently by showing mercy to your enemies, but also trying to prevent your reluctant ally from harming anyone (at least in the first chapter).

As someone who had played Undertaleღ's pacifist route, I naturally went with a playthrough with the intent of non-violence and never chose to 'fight'. Where some games that engage with these kinds of morality choices can often present pacifism as the boring way to play, Deltarune comes up with so many ideas to make this the preferable option.

Defending in Deltarune

Defense still plays a pivotal role, which, like in Undertale, takes the form of a bullet hell minigame as you move a heart iᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚnside a board while dodging enemy projectiles. But what becomes more important is getting your fellow party members to 'act'. That however requires a kind of magic gauge called TP that builds up during battles (it also resets after every encounter so you don't have to hoard it). You can increase this by choosing to defend during your turns but also by narrowly evading incoming projectiles, adding a risk/reward element to the bullet hell sections.

What makes these encounters unique is that both acts and bullet boards are often bespoke and contextual to the bizarre enemies, such as lowering a water cooler's guard by having your party chat while gathered around it. Sometimes, acts can affect an enemy's attack pattern𓆉 to be easier or harder, but often it's just the excuse for a gag that earns a good belly laugh. The board itself can also function in some unpredictable ways, becoming a minigame within the minigame or a novel way to further the plot. Given this was a mechanic seen in Undertale, it's a delight how Fox finds numerous ways to make the act of evading projectiles different for virtually every enemy encounter.

Once you've spared an 🐠enemy enough times, you'll also recruit them.

It's perhaps because of the novelty and gags that means these encounters are also often only impactful on the first go, and so if you're not engaging in these battles to gain XP, any repeat encounters tend to feel more repetitive than your typical RPG grind, and fleeing is not an option. There's still an incentive, as once yo🐷u've spared an enemy enough times, you'll also recruit them, which will see them showing up in your castletown hub in the Dark World. More significant enemies meanwhile will actively help you in 🧜your quest to seal the dark fountains.

Occasionally, it feels as if Fox is throwing a bunch of ideas against the wall to see what sticks. A stealth section mostly exists to poke fun at stealth mechanics but remains underwhelming. While you also eventually get to scale some environments, with the ability to leap across gaps, you're still constricted by the frustrating limitations of tile-based traversal. Nonetheless, these are minor quibbles since these only take up a tiny portion of a chapter, while most mechanics are there to serve the narrative, which is really what yo💯u're here for.

Character building

While I shan't be spoiling Deltarune's story, and there's plenty that happens that will no doubt have you searching fan forums for answers, it's less the grand narrative of the lore that compels me than it is the characters. Susie is, for me, the real heart and soul – a proper diamond in the rough. She might be someone I'd normally cross the street to avoid, but over the course of these four chapters, her arc is one of the best as you learn of her vulnerabilities beneath that tough persona and her capacity for kindne🌃ss, even if she shows it in her own unapologetically brash way.

That's also largely true about each chapter's villain of the week, such as Lancer in the first chapter who tries to foil💜 the Lightners from time to time to prevent you reaching his father the tyrant king, or Tenna in the third chapter who wants to keep your party playing their game show forever. It helps that these characters are all memorable, goofy and flawed in their own way, to the point that you come to empathize with them even as you'll eventually have to battle over conflicting goals rather than because they're evil.

If you played Deltarune when Chapter 1 first launched on PC as a free demo, you won't be able to carry over the save data if you decide to buy Chapters 1-4 on a different platform. You however don't need to start from the beginning as you're free to select a🅠ny chapter. If you start a later chapter without an existing save file, the game gives the benefit of the doubt and canonically assumes you spared and recruited all the enemies in the previous chapters.

Deltarune is just stuffed with personality, which is testament to Fox's laugh-out-loud hilarious writing that's not only conveyed in the text itself but through its delivery of comically timed scrolls and awkward pauses. It's also in the art direction, which retains the crude but charming pixel art established in Undertale but is given a broader palette by main artist and animator Temmie Chang. Even while sticking to a primitive retro look, there's definitely richer use of sprites, color and animations, such as how Kris and Susie change appearances when jumping into the Dark World, which reminds me of crossing into the Metaverse in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Persona 5.

The benefit of Deltarune's episodic structure means each chapter allows the game to explore very different themes on a larger scale than Undertale, all while still being far more digestible than a bloated 3D AAA equivalent (澳洲幸运5开奖号码ಌ历史查询:looking at you, Final Fantasy 𓄧7 Rebirth). Chapter Two's Cyber City offers more vibrant environments than Chapter One's Card Kingdom, while later chapters take the surprising approach of emulating ﷺthe kind of pseudo-3D effects popular in the latter half of the 16-bit era. Once your party is sitting down playing a NES-style Zelda clone game within a game while your prerendered-CG host observes, you're past trying to fit Deltarune's influences into any neat category and just enjoying all tꦅhe broad tapestry of references Fox is pulling together.

Speaking of themes, the catchy chiptune soundtrack is nothing short of incredible, from the battle theme to the main theme that's now permanently stuck in my head. As much as they're enjoyable on loop, some also evolve across chapters, giving 🔯a new twist and freshness that also fits with how the narrative develops.

At just over the halfway point, Deltarune has already eclipsed Undertale in length and scope. Even while it remains an unapologetic𝓡ally weಌird old-school pixelated JRPG, each chapter is a new canvas to stretch the meaning of a retro-inspired game, which doesn't have to conform to any rigid rules, style, or logic. The good news is we only have to wait until 2026 for Chapter 5, which is one mystery I'm glad to have resolved before I hop back online to pore over all the possibilities of where Toby Fox will take this epic tale next.

Deltarune chapters 1-4 we♛re reviewed on Nintendo Switch 2, with a code provided by the publisher.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone has recently been hard at work on his new game, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Haunted Chocolatier – one he now says❀ is even bigg🦹er than his 2016 farm sim.

Revealing as much in a new online , ConcernedApe simply states "the world of Haunted Chocolatier is larger than Stardew Valley" – a fact that I can't quite wrap my own head around, seeing as I've clocked well ov🐽er 1,000 hours in Stardew Valley alone on just Steam. I'm not alone, either, apparently, with fans replying to his post that they "cannot wait" to play Haunted Chocolatier and are now "soooooo excited" for it.

Despite the fact that the upcoming game's world being "larger" than ConcernedApe's has boggled my mind, I suppose it makes sense – after all, Haunted Chocolatier has technically been in production now for quite some time since its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:2021 reveal, in which the developer said he felt "more confident than ever in being able to bring an idea to life." While he admitted he had 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"not tꩲouched Haunted Chocol꧒atier in a long time" in 2024, things are back on track.

That's because ConcernedApe first wanted to wrap up his work on Stardew Valley, its big 1⭕.6 update, and subsequent patches. At the tail end of April, though, he said he's "committed to not working on Stardew Valley until I'm done with Haunted Chocolatier" now, which means development on the new sim is finally fully kicking into gear – and while there's still no solid release date, except for hopes of launching by 2030, it sounds like it'll be massiveꦐ.

Not only is the world apparently "larger," but ConcernedApe has also previously admitted that Haunted Chocolatier "has to be better" than Stardew Valley – a tall order considering the fact that the farming sim curr♛ently impressively boasts a perfect 10/10 score on ꧃Steam with "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews. As a longtime fan myself, however, I'll be expecting nothing short of an incredible experience come Haunted Chocolatier's release.

It's "more of an action RPG," but Eric Barone says Haunted Chocolatier is still "a life sim" and "similar to Stardew Valley in many ways" but with more "dark and mysterious" vibes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> 澳洲幸运5♒开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong sure was mentioned a lot at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, but it didn't deign to show up, with developer Team Cherry only reiterating via a t♔imely Discord message that the game✃ will be out before the holiday seaso👍n.

The long-awaited Metroidvania sequel did, however, briefly appear via gameplay footage shown on the newly announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ROG Xbox Ally, raising more than one eyebrow among the f🐼atigued Hollow Knight co🔜mmunity.

"I hear it'🐻s gonna play Silksong when it comes out," Official Xbox Podcast host Jeff Rubenstein tells Spencer , rounding out a discussion on the X꧅box Ally reveal.

"That's right, that's r🦩ight," Spencer begins. "Thank you. That was a good 🔯partnership, to kind of feed them in and have them play a role in our hardware lineup."

Spencer stops the Silksong train then and there. Xbox has been burned on Silksong hype before, f🅘amously indicating three years ago that the game would be ouꦰt within a year, but has grown more reserved as Team Cherryꦚ's lips grew tಞighter and its development pipeline stretched ever longer.

The Silksong army, burrowing through even the thinnest Steam backend updates like termites through wood, has kept a close record of every tease, trace, and theory around, and a lot of them do orbit Xbox. I can't definitively say that Spencer spoke with 澳洲幸运🥀5开奖号码历史查询:the expectations of the Skong faithful weighing on his 🐈nerves, but he was certainly quick to talk about what are now the most commonplace games of all time instead.

"But it is really about playiꩵng the Windows games that you wanna play," he says of the Xbox Ally. "So if you're a big Roblox player, if you're a Fortnite player, if you're a Minecraft player, if you love Game Pass, we want to make sure the way you've built your library as a player, and the games that you want to go play, are available on this device and that they play incredibly well."

ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X "have access to all the games you can play on Windows PCs," so you'll be able to play PlayStation games like The Last of Us and God of War.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> Fortnite Supernova Gear is a collective term for some of the fresh guns and items that have been added to the battle royale, but this may be causing a degree of confusion as it isn't a term used in relation to specific weapons within the game itself. However, it is used in the wording of several 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite quests that yo🎶u need them for, so understandably it helps if you're aware of what you should be trying to find. With that in mind, here's everything you need to know about Supernova Gear in Fortnite and where to get it.

What is Supernova Gear in Fortnite?

Supernova Gear in Fortnite is comprised of some of the fresh guns and items that were added for Season 3, as part of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite new weapons drop. Specifically, this gear consistsꦑ of the superhe🤪ro equipment that includes:

  • Bass Boost
  • Killswitch Revolvers
  • Myst Gauntlets
  • Tracking Visor

Naturally, for quests that involve dealing damage specifically with Supernova Gear, the Bass Boost isn't much help due to its low damage output and the Tracking Visor has no damage output at all. However, for other assignments they can be used to prime yourself before switching to regular weapons to deal the necessary damage within a certaꩵin amount of time.

Where to get Fortnite Supernova Gear

Fortnite Supernova Gear can generally be found around the island, as both floor loot or in Chests and Hero Caches, as well as purchased from certain 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Fortnite characters in exchange for gold bars. However, the easiest way to get it is to head to the Supernova Academy POI, found to the north of the island, and search around the buildings. Not only are there Academy Stands that will deposit Supernova Gear when interacted with, but as your Hero Rank increases you can also unlock the secret tech labs in the basement tha♍t have even more Supernova Gear for you to claim.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Nintendo ]]> With 40 Karts and 50 unique characters to pick from, there are countless combinations to decipher when it comes to the best Mario Kart world set up. After comparing the stats and trying out the combinaܫtio🐎ns for ourselves, we’ve found the top 5 best Mario Kart world character and kart combos whether you’re hoping to jump into a grand prix or running time trials.

1. Baby Peach and Baby Blooper

Baby Peach driving in the Baby Boomer kart in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 1.2
Acceleration: 3.2
Weight: 0.8
Handling: 2.8

When playing online or in a standard Grand Prix, you want to prioritize acceleration over speed to allow yourself to recover from an item hit as quickly as possible. Considering there are now 23 other racers who can bombard you with items rather than just 11, this Baby Peach and Baby Blooper combo gives you th💃e highest acceleration possible so you can get going again when you slip on a bananaও peel.

2. Bowser and Charging Truck

Bowser driving the Charging Truck kart in Mario Kart World on an icy track

Stats:
Speed: 3.2
Acceleration: 0.8
Weight: 3
Handling: 1

Pairing Bowser with the Charging Truck gives you the fastest possible combination in the game in terms of speed making this a great option for Time Trials where you don’t have to worry about items. You can also opt for the Reel Racer, Junkyard Hog, and Stellar Sled for the same speed, too, with other stats slightly adjusted, so feel free to choose what suits you best. The downside of this combination is that you have lo🦂wer acceleration, meaning it’ll take you lon𒊎ger to speed back up if you’re constantly being shafted by items.

3. Rosalina and Stellar Sled

Rosalina riding the Stellar Sled kart across the snow in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 3
Acceleration: 1
Weight: 2.6
Handling: 1.4

Another high-speed option is Rosalina and Stellar Sled, where you can achieve ext𒀰remely high speeds and still maintain some level of acceleration and handling. For those who are looking for a fast combination but w♚ant that slight handling edge when compared to Bowser and Charging Truck, then this is the best Mario Kart World setup.

NB - You will have to unlock Rosalina by playing through the Star Cup Grand Prix, and the Stellar Sled through collecting coins.

Our full guides on how to unlock Mario Kart World characters and how to unlock Mario Kart World karts are here for more info.

4. Bowser and Baby Blooper

Bowser leaping in the air driving the Baby Blooper kart in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 2.4
Acceleration: 1.8
Weight: 2.2
Handling: 1.6

Using the Baby Blooper, which provides you with great acceleration and speed, paired with a heavyweight character like Bowser, ensures you have a good balance between all of the stats you need. This allows you to speed up but still have good control of the Kart for drifting and swerving items. If you do inevitably get hit by a red shell or ten, you have a good acceleration level to build speed back up. Both this Kart and character are available right☂ from the get-go too, so you don’t have to worry about unlocking them.

5. Dry Bones and Roadster Royale

Dry Bones riding the Roadster Royale in Mario Kart World

Stats:
Speed: 1.6
Acceleration: 2.6
Weight: 1.4
Handling: 2.4

This combination, similar to Bowser and Baby Blooper, gives you a good spread of stats, perfect for those who are just starting out. The higher acceleration is good to get back on your feet (or wheels in this case) after being hit by a red shell and the increas👍ing handling allows you to tackle those tigh𝔍t corners and funky new Mario Kart world tracks with ease.

NB While Dry-Bones is available from the start, you will have to unlock the Roadster Royale via coin collection.
