<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> //344567.top 2025-06-13T15:41:43Z en <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> The Nintendo Switch 2 is upgrading some Nintendo Switch games, with the likes of Super Mario Odyssey and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Splatoon 3 getting patches to let them run better on the new system. Even if they don't get an official update patch, some games like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:are seeing improved performance on the console. However, this has also caused 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:some unintended issues, and now, it's been discovered it is having effects on the power o🎃f yo🍸ur booty in the 1v1 butt fighting game Ketsu Battler.

Ketsu Battler is a game where you hold one of the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers with your buttcheeks (or your waistband, but that isn't as funny to say, is it?) and then throw it back in order to fight your enemies. In a message posted on the () apparently the increased processing power of the Nintendo Sꦕwitch 2 will cause your rear end to become an overpowered unstoppable forc🌳e.

The devs say: "It's been confirmed that if you play Ketsu Battler on the Switch 2, your butt will become unexpectedly overpowered," and that they expect it's thanks to the iᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚncreased power of the Switch 2.

Because the Switch 2 has more power, the game runs faster, which in turn allows your special attack gauge to increase faster and make battles way more chaotic as a result. The higher f༺ramerate has made the asses too unstoppable.

However, the developers are looking into it right now, and hopefully the Nintendo S🐎witch 2 will be able to appropriately handle the g⭕ame and deliver the correct amount of booty shaking soon.

I've played 200 hours of Street Fighter 6, and the Switch 2 version is a perfectly fine companion piece – even if it could never be the ideal platform.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> If you ask me, Street Fighter 6 is the best game in the Nintendo Switch 2's roster of launch ports. But being an incredible game doesn't necessarily mean it'll transfer well to being a good fit for the Switch; as we saw a fair few t♚imes during the life of the original Switch. And♓ if that original Switch taught me anything, it's not especially great for fighting games, due to the Joy-Con's lack of a d-pad and the Pro Controller's d-pad – which was perhaps the mushiest d-pad ever conceived for an official controller. But after spending 10 more hours with Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, the successor console may finally be fit to fight.

Is this the ideal way to play Street Fighter 6? Probably not. If you have a PS5 or PC, you're probably better suited to going with one of those versions if you're looking to buy just one copy of Street Fighter 6. But, as an additive to one of this decade's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games, it's a great little gem to have for playing a quick round away from your TV. Granted, the full potential of having a companion version isn't quite as nice as something like Fortnite or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Cyberpunk 2077, where 🐓you can continue your progress across consoles, but it's nice for brushing up on thingꦦs.

On its own, the fighting feels as great as ever; the actual battles run at a solid 60fps and it looks real good for being a handheld game. The issues that Street Fighter 6 has are still present in this version, like an overabundance of SF2 characters and that zoning bastard JP making for the weakest roster in a while (although Terry, Mai, Elena, and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Season 3 cast remedy this somewhat).

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Street Fighter 6 review: "Arguably the b𝓀est overall fighting game package ever made"

The bigges🧜t letdown is actually in the World Tour mode. Street Fighter 6's story m🍷ode was effectively a Yakuza game where you travel around the world learning the ropes from the greatest fighters while buffing your character to the next level.

It's a great idea and would perfectly suit the handheld form, but unfortunately it's locked at 30fps, and is t🌊he roughest-looking part of the experience. Locked to 30fps in the overworld would be fine, but when it gets to the battles, the game feels rough, especially if you've just played the silky-smooth regular battles.

Then there are the Switch 2 exclusive modes. The gist of these is that you're going to want to waggle a Joy-Con to control the battle. This is just a party game mode t🉐hrown in to give the Switch 2 something e🧸xtra, but it doesn't even feel that good as a party game compared to throwing on the game's pre-existing Modern or Dynamic control schemes, which are fit for new players.

Plus, it's way less elaborate than that weird first-person mode they ꦕhad in Ultra Street Fighter 2 on the original Switch (yes, that mode was awful, but it was something different!).

Pros and Cons

Take yourself back to a couple of minutes a🍷go when I wrote off the original Switch Pro Controller's d-pad. While the Pro Controller 2 may look like it's doing absolutely nothꦫing new, it changed itself in the right way – that d-pad feels good to use.

In Street Fighter 6, I play Zangief, who – for those who ꧑don't know – has specials that require you to do a full 360 motion and hit a button to execute (or a 720 in his super's case). Doing this on the Switch 1's Pro Controller, which ranged from hitting misinputs or just being generally mediocre, felt nigh-impossible. With the new one I'm hitting them like nobody's business. Also, I can map my EX Spinning Lariat to one of the back buttons, which hits different in ways I can't explain.

This alone cemented to me that being the jackass who spent THAT ♛much money on a Switch 2 Pro Controlle🙈r when I already own many (I'm not saying how many) of the original console's ones, which work on the Switch 2, was actually the right choice.

That being said, controls aren't perfect either. Obviously the handheld mode Switch itself still has that lack of a d-pad, meaning that doing those pesky fighting game inputs can be a pain (I manage, but ꧋I'm definitely losing because of that and not due to my lack of actual fighting game skill).

Plus, Drive Impact – one of Street Fighter 6's most crucial moves – is a bit more awkward to pull off due to how small the R and ZR buttons are, which isn't the greatest feeling when you nee🎃d to use them to quickly react. But granted, if you're taking Street Fighter 6 seriously, you probably won't be playing with the Joy-Cons (although I'm sure someone will ♏win a tourney with them this year).

At the end of the day, having a solid version of the be🧜st fighting game of this generation, one you can take 🌳around and pop out at any time, is a good enough bonus as is. That's what made the Switch so great in the first place, and it's what will make the Switch 2 great for years to come.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Capcom has commented on Nintendo's game-key cards on the ♑Switch 2. Although these releases come in a physical box, the developer and publisher considers them digital sales, due to how the actual product is delivered.

The Switch 2's game-key cards are proving controversial. Rather🔴 than containing the game themselves, the small cartridges merely allow you to retrieve a copy online. Even if you get one, you sti✱ll need internet access.

Putting it another way, you're paying for a glorified downl🔴oad off the eShop in a regular box. This has led to questions over how these releases will be counted, as the boxes are sold in brick-and-mortar stores, but they aren’t physical games.

That's why Capcom is just counting them towards the digital total, at leas🍷t for Street Fighter 6, per the company's latest financial results. The only difference between these and giving you a redeemable code is that you can s𒐪till lend these cartridges out, allowing for the second-hand market to continue.

Not everything on the Switch 2 will come in game-key card form, only certain games, purportedly because the carts currently come in one size, 64GB. Third-party releases are the most impacted by this workaround, and developers have 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:called the decision betw💮een using a proper cart or a key card "not easy.💜"

Nintendo is aware of the consternation. "In the immediate future, physical games are still a key part of our business," Doug Bowser, head of Nintendo of America, said in May. He reiterated ꩵthe value of the compan𝐆y's relationship with retailers.

The move hasn't gone down well across the industry. Prolific devs have said they "hate" game-key cards, and preservationists 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:call them a "disheartening" mo♊ve as the industry continues to struggle𓆏 with future-proofing.

Only time will tell the extent of game-key cജards in terms of the Switch 2's longer-term standing.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Invincible fans just got treated to the official announ🐬cement of Skybound's long-promised triple-A game that surpassed its crowdfunding goal: Invincible VS. Notably, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman had referred to the game as "the most excited I've been about anything involving Invincible," a few months ago, which turned quite a few heads.

Now, players get to see what all the hype is about with the world premiere trailer at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, displaying a 3v3 tag-team fighting game that allows fans to play as their favorite heroes fight allies or enemies. Invincible VS will not onl👍y provide ranked and casual modes for the online multiplayer fighting, but also a single player story campaign.

The title also▨ appears to offer some multiverse aspects, as we see an alternate verꦿsion of Nolan Grayson in the trailer, fighting against Mark alongside Viltrumites. If the Invincible multiverse is being taken into account, players can expect endless match-up potential.

As per Skybound's press release, Invincible VS will be a "brutal, tournament-quality, 3v3 tag fighting game that lets players become 🌃a superhero in the bloodiest fight in the ꦛuniverse." While Skybound has developed and published many games – including another title adapted from Kirkman's world, The Walking Dead: The Final Season, this will be their first major game developed by Skybound's in-house gaming studio.

This gory title asks players to wait just a bit for its release, with it slated for 2026, the same year season 4 of the Invincible TV adaptation is set to release. Invincible VS will also be a console-exclusive t🍌itle, and feature Xbox Play Anywhere capabilities.

Bioshock-esque RPG Clockwork Revolution continues to look promising in new trailer, but we'll have to wait as the release date will be unveiled in "due time"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Capcom has announced Street Fighter 6' season 3 lineup at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, with a host of fan-favoღurites returniꦍng, and possibly the strangest DLC pick to date.

Hot on the heels of launching the game on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 and releasing Elena, the final Season 2 DLC, Capcom has confirmed Season 3 of Street Fig🐟hter 6 will be Alex, C. Viper, Sagat, and Ingrid, courtesy of AEW༒ pro wrestler Kenny Omega .

Capcom once again proves it can't move past Street Fighter 2, with it getting another rep this s🏅eason, while Street Fighter 3 and 4 both get a second character on the roster with Alex and C. Viper, respectively.

However, Ingrid is the funny one, she was created specifically for Capcom Fighting All-Stars – a 3D crossover fighter which was canceled – before appearing in the extremely mid Ca🥀pcom Fighting Evolution. The character has become somewhat of a meme within the Street Fighter community, but🌳 now she's in a canon Street Fighter game.

Meanwhile, Alex is the best possible pick Capcom could've made if you as🍷k me. The poster boy of Street Fighter 3, who really should have been in the base game since it's the first in the ﷽series to be set after SF3. Plus, he's one of the finest fighting game characters ever made in my fine opinion, thanks to his hard-hitting pro wrestling style. And it's single-handedly confirmed that I will be sticking with SF6 for another year.

Capcom revealed that Sagat will be coming this summer, with C. Viper following in the fall. Meanwhile, we'll be waiting until 2026 for Al▨ex and Ingrid, who are releasing in "early spring" and "late spring" respectively. We also saw a tiny bit of Sagat gameplay with an absolutely gorgeous rendition of his classic Thailand stage making an appearance.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> No, you're not hallucinating: Geoff Keighly just announced an indie boxing game staring puppets called Felt That: Boxing. Honestly, I think myself and every other viewer of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 thought they had somehow ingested illicit drugs through osmosis, but this absolutely bonkers-looking g🌄ame is very, very real.

San String Studio's debut title is if Rocky was produced by Jim Henson. This first-lꩵook trailer gives us a look at Ezra "Fuzz-E" Wright, an "unadoptable orphan," as he trains to become the next champion at the Tournament of a Million Punches. Within the first 30 seconds, a scraggly-looking puppet who can't definitively be ruled out as Mickey Goldmill reincarnated, calls the prota𒉰gonist a "little sack of fuzzy shit," and immediately I wanted this game.

The real-time puppe▨t boxing game is made in collaboration with the animators at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and looks about as realistic as you can get when you put some puppets in a video game✤.

According to San String Studio, Felt That promises to be both hilarious and heartfelt, and while the latter wasn't evident in the trailer, the humor is something that it will clearly deliver on. Felt That: Boxing💯 has no release date but, you can currently wishlist this fuzzy oddity on Steam.

This new Game of Thrones strategy game will let you change one of the final season's biggest moments, and it's coming next year

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Yesterday's澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: PlayStation State of Play came with plenty of exciting new game announcements, such as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Romeo is a Dead Man, as well as further looks at highly-anticipated games, like Sucker Punch Productions' 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ghost of Yotei. Notably, one of the new and exciting ♔titles introduced to players was another Marvel game; this time, a tag-teaming 4v4 fighting game.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Soul will be 𒆙coming to PS5 and PC in 2026, boasting a huge lineup of Marvel c🌠haracters to choose from, and 4v4 combat. Marvel Games has linked up with Dragon Ball FighterZ studio Arc System Works for its new fighting game.

Of course, the 4v4 system isn't found in the Dragon Ball title, or mo💜st fighting games, as it's a lot to keep track of and can stall the smooth action▨ of a fight. Game director and lead battle designer, that coming to the decision of a 4v4 system wasn't easy: "Team VS fighting games have a long tradition of 2v2 or 3v3 formats, so this is something we discussed in-depth within the development team."

Sekine shared that eventually a 4v4 system was agreed upon because, "at its core, we felt that the appeal of team VS fighting games is the intensity of th♌e battles with multiple characters on screen at once. Additionally, one of the appeals of Marvel comics is seeing the vast cast of characters coming together to create all kinds of unique team-ups."

To make the 4v4 system work seamlessly, the studio implemented some different playstyle options. During a from Marvel Entertainment, the devs explained how the different fighting styles for the 4v4 sღystem works.

In order to tailor to each player's preferred playstyle, Arc System Works developed two fighting styles for players to switch between: the first being the option of playing as the lead while havi♛ng the three other characters assist, and the second allowing players to swap the assists in and out as the lead at will. This allows players to adapt their playstyle on the fly, and avoid having to maꦉster every single character's moveset. According to Sekine, "you only need to master one character in order to play."

With Marvel Tokon: Fighting Soul being PvP, it will be following the success of the latest live-service Marvel PvP, Marvel Rivals, which has set a high bar. H𝓀opefully with the implemented playstyle options, Arc System Works' approach to the 4v4 tag-team won't prove to be the gam♊e's downfall.

Move over Marvel vs. Capcom, PlayStation invited Arc System Works out for drinks and now we're getting a new tag fighter in the absolutely gorgeous Marvel Tokon: Fighting Soul

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> If you, like me, main someone in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate who was added in that game (either at launch or as DLC), you will know firsthand that the costumes take forever to load in. Some games, like Smash – despite not getting an official 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 update – are 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:running better right away on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2. So despite 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:breaking Mii Fighters somewhat, the new console has remedied the ♍game's most annoying problem.

Obviously, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's gigantic roster is the main selling point, and is undeniably impressive, but a symptom of that roster is that it was too big for the original Switch to load everything quickly. Usuall♚y when you select a character in-game you can tap the shoulder buttons to cycle through alternate costumes for them.

However, Smash Ultimate seems to load these in based on where in the roster they are, so if you play as someone introduced in the original game liꦕke Mario or Donkey Kong, you won't really notice, but if you pick a character like King K. Rool or a DLC fighter like Terry Bogard, you'll find that pressing the button to change skin results in a blank screen for a hot m♛inute while the game loads it in.

Twitter user LittleMacMainKO (who would normally have to wait a fair amount since Little Mac is fighter number 49), immediately booted up their new console to test out Smash, and noticed thܫat Ultimate's annoying issue is gone, with all ꦕalternate costumes now loading in instantly, regardless of character.

The user also notes that are faster across the board in Smash Ultimate, including the tediously long the game has on the original console. Of course, a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Ultimate that finally adds Dante and an actually interesting Zelda rep would be far more appreciated (but more realistically another Fire Emblem, Pokemon, and Xenoblade rep to ruin my life).

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet speedruns are in a different league on Switch 2, with a day-one attempt already coming in around half an hour faster than the old world record.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 has a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ton of free updates available for existing Switch games, with a bunch of first-party Nintendo games getting the rub (especially Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which desperately needed it). While Super Smash Bro♌s. Ultimate is among the games that run better, it comes with an unexpected downgrade.

noticed on the US Eshop page for that the game is listed as "Supported – Game progression may be affected in portions of 🐬the game" for Switch 2. When you look for more info, it turns out there's not a progression issue; it's actually just that Mii Fighters are not working as they should.

On the store it says, "In online play, when a Switch 2 player and Switch player have been matched, if someone is using Mii Fighter, the match may end immediately," and because of this Nintendo asks that play𒁃ers "please avoid using Mii Fighter in online play as much as possible." So while Mii Fighters do still work online on Switch 2, it's only if you face someone else playing on the new system.

Not only are Mii Fighters having tr⛦ouble in online crossplay, but Nintendo also notes, "When creating or editing and saving a Mii Fighter, the thumbnail image showing the Mii Fighter may not appear correctly." With the solution being a simple "This may be improved by saving it again."

Nintendo hasn't explained why this happened, although it could be a compatibility issue stemming from the fact that Mii characters are now genderless on Switch 2, I don't know why 💧that would matter when the gender doesn't matter in Smash, but that could have caused the issue. Regardless, Nintendo says that "This is planned to be fixed in the near future," so you can have your Hank Hill vs Sans Undertale brawls online once more.

Street Fighter 6 sees Capcom follow the road Nintendo abandoned in Animal Crossing by adding a collection of stone-cold NES bangers.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Yesterday marked the arrival of Sony's hotly anticipated 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlayStation State of Play showcase, a live stream providing fans with a glimpse of the most impressive titles to come – including 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, 𓂃a 4v4 tag fighter featuring Marvel superheroes and a unique anime-esque aesthetic.

Although the art style is far more adjacent to developer Arc System Works' other games, like the iconic Guilty Gear series, it was actually a choice pushed by Marvel Games. Speaking on the decision to utilize the anime-like vibes, Arc System Works producer Takeshi Yamanaka explains in a new behind-the-scenes that devs initially proposed a different aesthetic more true to the source comics – but Marvel Games senior product development manager Michael Francisco wasn't a fan.

"When we first submitted our designs to Marvel, I got the impression that Michael-san's reaction wasn't particularly positive," recounts Yamanaka, who "kept wondering what was wrong." It turned out that Francisco wanted Arc System Works devs to use the style true to their previous games. "After talking with him directly, he said something like, 'Show us the Marvel that you (Arc) want to create.'"

Arc System Works then changed things up, giving the fighter the anime-esque style featured in💙 past titles like Guilty Gear. Francisco, unsurprisingly, was thrilled. "I remember personally, the first time I saw Iron Man was really when I felt we had something special," admits the Marvel Games lead. According to Francisco, "the fact that they added anime mech elements to him just felt really natural" – more in line with Arc System Works' own style.

Yamanaka recalls the moment Marvel Games reacted to the new anime-like Iron Man design, stating that the team "really loved it" right away. "If you take a look at our Iron Man design in this game, that distinctive Japanese design and Arc System Works design sensibility will be visible," states the dev. "Marvel's team really loved it. It was like, 'yes, that's it!'" PlayStation Studios senior producer Reed Bꦺaird adds that the art style is culturally important, too.

"One of the mantras that we have for this project is 'from Japan to the world,'" says Baird, "and really trying to take, not just the IP, but gameplay mechanics and say, 'what can we really take from Japan, the creators that are doing awesome work here, and bring that to the global platform?'" That's where Arc System Works' anime art style comes in – and if I do say so myself, it's undeniably a striking way to set Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls apart.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> While fighting game fans have been clamoring for a new Marvel vs Capcom, it seems the real successor to those classics has been in the works at BlazBlue and Guilty Gear developer Arc System Works in the form of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Accor🧸ding to a developer interview alongside the announcement, it seems it all got started when PlayStation invited the ArcSys team out for drinks.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a 4v4 tag fighter casting Marvel's hero⛄es in Arc System Works' legendary anime style. The game 🦹is due out 2026 on PS5 and PC.

"Generally, a team VS fighting game requires the player to learn multiple characters, but for MARVEL Tōko🍸n: Fighting Souls, you only need to master one chဣaracter in order to play the game," game director and lead battle designer Kazuto Sekine explains in a .

"We🐬 have designed the mechanics in such a way that you can perform a variety of actions with either traditional fighting game inputs or simple inputs. With the press of a few buttons, multiple characters can appear on screen to provide backup or at🌌tack together – creating a new and exciting team VS battle experience."

The initia♐l roster on display includes the likes of Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Storm, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, and Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), and they 🍨all look absolutely incredible with this visual treatment.

"It all started when a fr🦩iend from PlayStation suddenly messaged 'Hey, want to grab drinks?'" producer Takeshi Yamanaka explained during the announcement video. From there, Arc System Works was asked about its interest in making a Marvel fighting ꦛfame.

Marvel fighting games, of course, have quite a legacy thanks to Capcom, which makes ArcSys's sudden takeover of the format downright stunning. But PlayStation's existing relationship with Marvel, the mediocre response to Ma🦋rvel vs. C🦄apcom Infinite, and the incredible success of Marvel Rivals, I guess anything is possible.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> 🦋Capcom has added NES games to its roster of retro titles included in Street Fighter 6, and I fear it's a better drop than most of the Nintendo Switch Online NES games. We haven't seen this kind of game-within-a-game generosity since Animal Crossing on the GameCube.

Out of all the third party 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 launch games, Capcom's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Street Fighter 6 is arguably the best of the bunch (and by arguably, I mean it is but I don't want the Cyberpunk fans to come after me). Alongside the game's arrival on the Switch 2 this week, Capcom has released the final fighter of the gam🌳es DLC Season 2 – that being Elena from Street Fighter 3 – as well as dropping a new balance patch into the game.

Sin💯ce it launched, Street Fighter 6 has allowed you to play some Capcom arcade classicsꦚ within it, from the likes of classic Street Fighter titles, the all-time banger Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and even out there choices like Savage Bees.

However, with this new update, folded NES titles intജo the game (presumably in celebration of its arrival on a Nintendo platform. The four titles꧑ included are a great selection of some of the best games on the NES and Street Fighter 2010 (spotted by ).

Included are Mighty Final Fight, which is a chibi remake (demake?) of Capcom's classic arcade beat 'em up which is canon to the Street Fighter universe. On the Street Fighter side there is Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight, which is a real🌌ly rough side scroller that feels like a different game that had the Street Fighter brand slapped on it at the last second.

Finally there's a one-two punch of two of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best NES games ever made: 🃏Bionic Commando and Mega Man 3. Bionic Commando is a 2D side-scroller where you're unable to jump and must rely on your robot arm to get business done, and still holds up as a classic today (although the Xbox 360 ♌remake is better).

And Mega Man 3 is, to put it simply, a banger. It's arguably the best M🐲ega Man game there is, and probably t♋he best game available in SF6's classic game roster (except Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, no one's touching that).

Despite being a big supporter of Nintendo usually, C﷽apcom has barely touched the Nintendo Switch Online apps, with Ghosts and Goblins being the only series that consistently gets releases on there. Granted, the M💯ega Man games are all in the Mega Man Legacy Collection, but Bionic Commando is a glaring omission that's finally going to be on Switch 2.

Over a deca🐻de ago, Nintendo fans started getting used to the idea of NES games coming as free pack-ins with then-modern titles. We had examples like the extensive selection of retro titles in the original Animal Crossing, or the version of NES Metroid you could unlock by connecting Prime and Fusion together.

Of course, the Wii Virtual Console a few years later taught Nintendo that fans were more than willing to pay extra for access to NES, and that's culminated in the Nintendo Switch Online library we can subscribe to today. Here's hoping Capcom doesn't get wind of the idea that these games could be sold separately.

Stick with us to stay in the loop for all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games you need to known about.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> It's been 25 years since Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 took the world of fighting games by storm, setting a standard for the genre that remains to this day. Now, Hasbro's Marvel Legends toy line is celebrating the milestone with a w🐎♋hole wave of action figures that fully recreate the game's iconic art by Bengus.

The wave of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 style figu♏res was announced in a which also revealed the first official images of the MCU 🗹style figures for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. But the real money for many fans was the MvC2 wave, which has been rumored for some time.

The wave will include two-packs of Wolv💟erine Vs. Silver Samurai, Captain America Vs. Venom, Psylocke Vs. Thanos,📖 and War Machine Vs. Omega Red, as well as deluxe figures of Juggernaut and 'Gargantos,' a version of Shuma-Gorath whose name was changed for legal reasons.

Here's a gallery of the figures:

As you can se🅘e, they are very distinctly based on Bengus' concept art for MvC2, which has remained popular for the entirety of the game's 25 year lifespan. The game, which features dozens of Marvel characters squaring off against an equal number of opponents from Capcom's catalogue, centers around a team-building mechanic in which players pick three heroes each, pitting their team against their enemies in multiple rounds o💜f combat.

The intricate team-building mechanic, high skill ceiling, and gorgeous visual style of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 have given it a lasting pre🅠sence in the fighting game community, even as two more MvC games have come and gone. Last year, it received its first official re-release since the Playstation 3 era, quickly rising back to the top of the fighting game genre.

The Wolverine and Silver Samurai two pack goes on sale on fan channels including and as well as Amazon on Thursday June 5. Psylocke and Thanos goes on saleꦕ June 6 via Target. Captain America vs. Venom goes up for sale on Hasbro Pulse on June 12. Gargantos goes on sale via Amazon and fan channels on June 18. Juggernaut goes on sale on Amazon and fan channels in late June. Finally, War Machine vs. Omega Red is available for preorder via Walmart some time in July.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Mo📖rtal Kombat 1 isn't getting any more character or storꦓy DLC, NetherRealm Studios confirmed today on Twitter.

We had a very strong feeling that this was the case after the♌ game's Definitive Edition surprise launched last week, bundling together the 2023 fighting game and approximately $162 worth of DLC into a single package, but now we know for certain Mortal Kombat 1 is certified Komplete.

"We are hearing players’ requests for conღtinued game support of Mortal Kombat 1, and, while we will continue to support Mortal Kombat 1 through balance adjustments and fixes, there will not be additional DLC characters or story chapters released from this point on," reads the tweet.

"We understand this will be disappointing for fans, but our team at NetherRealm needs to shift fo𒈔cus to the next project in order to make it as great as we possibly can," reads a follow-up twee𝓀t.

NetherRealms is right to assume this will be disappointing news to fans, who have been united in hoping for more Mortal Kombat 1 content, especially since the g꧋ame only came out less than two years ago and series boss Ed Boon has suggested it would get "years of content" in various interviews. (It's worth noting that Boon himself likely had little to do with publisher Warner Bros.' decision to move on from the game.)

NetherRealms has yet to reveal what it's next project is, but Boon said in an earlier this year that whatever it is wꦚas decided on "a long timeꦆ ago."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> One of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Melee's biggest tournam✃ents came to an end when one of the competitors managed to glไitch through the stage.

Super Smash Bros. Melee is notable in a few ways; it being the highest-selling GameCube game (and one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best GameCube games ever madཧe), the tournament community for the game is still huge almost 24 years later, and that it was developed in just over a year compared to the years-long developments of the Smash games released since.

However, that short development time resulted in a number of glitches and unintended tech falling through the cracks. Some are interesting, like the ability to play as the final boss, Master Hand. Others are frustrating, like Bowser (who is already the worst character in the game) doing zero damage to certain characters with one of his throws. And there are some that were big tournament🦩 standbys, like Ice Climbers' "Wobblꦜing" infinite grab combo (which was later banned in most tourneys).

Melee's unfortunate glit▨ches became a prominent player at the Full House 2025 (which is considered a "supermajor" tournament in the Smash community).

of Melee at the tourney, Cody Sch꧂wab and ꦿMoky faced off, with the final match taking place on the Pokemon Stadium stage. Both players were down to one last stock, with Cody needing one more kill to take the entire tourney. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Smash Bros.? More like Smash Beaus am I right? Yesterday, a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros.-themed dating app that aimed to co♊nnect gamers with their "ideal Smash partner" apparently received a cease and desist from Nintendo just before launching into open beta.

SmashTogether is a dating app that was announced almost a 🐷year ago, and had apparently gotten over 400 applicants to test out the open beta that was due to go live today.

Rather than matchin💎g people based on personality and other boring factors, the app aimed to find your perfect Doubles partner "in and out of Smash." Couples t🦹hat game together, stay together, so this novel idea actually sounds kind of sweet.

But, as we all know, Nintendo is infamously litigious and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:protects its IPs rigorously. Reported by , the SmashTogether Twitter account the message "we got cease & desisted," alongside a picture of Yoshi perched on a wall looking off into the sunset. There have been no further upda꧑tes since.

Whether or not this is real or all some sort of joke, I have no idea, but it's funny either way. If it is real, it's easy to see why Nintendo wouldn't want its child-friendly fighting gamꦐe associated with the minefield that is online dating.

A dating app that aims to connect people🐬 through the games they play sounds ꧙like a lovely idea, so maybe the developers of SmashTogether could go a bit broader to avoid attracting attention from any one company by singling out its games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition just got a surprise launch today, bundling the 2023 fighting game and approximately $162 worth of DLC into a single package. But while that's a pretty good deal for the MK-kurious, the implication that thing🧔s are over for developer NetherRealm's latest has the community mourning the possibilities for what might have been.

As you'd expect, the Definitive E𝓀dition includes all the DLC released for MK1, bringing the total roster up to 35 fi♎ghters, with post-launch additions ranging from Quan Chi and Cyrax to Peacemaker and the T-1000. There's also an array of additional skins, the Khaos Reigns story expansion, and extra kameo fighters.

It's a solid package, ﷽but it's not really for the players who've stuck with MK1 for the 19 months since its launch. The name "Definitive Edition" i🍸mplies that there's no more content to come, and for a game that many in the community feel never truly reached its full potential, the disappointment is palpable.

You'll see the sentiment of "it's over" repeated again and again in the , and players on Twitter have also taken the opp🅠ortunity to repost clips of series boss Ed Boon suggesting that MK1 would get "years of content" in various interviews. We're just over 19 months past the game's launch, so we haven't quite hit the plural "years" mark yet.

Of course, most fans are willing to acknowledge that it's likely business requirements at WB rather than Boon himself forcing the team to put a bow on MK1. Either way, if this truly is the end for the fighting game, NetherRealm's going to have a much tougher time convincing players that it'll stick around for𒉰 the long haul on its next game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Once upon𒆙 a time, mentioning the Smash Bros. franchise inevitably ignited an argument over whether 🏅or not Nintendo's accessible brawler is a "real" fighting game. But now, as the Switch 2 looms on the horizon – alongside the possibility of a new Smash Bros. – these squabbles seem like a distant memory. In its stead stands a Smash Bros. Ultimate legacy that transcends petty genre categories. Ultimate exists in a loftier league of video games: those rare experiences that define console generations and reach a pinnacle that may never be replicated again.

Originally released in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and its expansive roster was met with near universal critical acclaim. It reached an impressive Metacritic score of 93, and over the course of its lifetime, sold more than 38 million copies for the Switch, Nintendo's most successful gaming console. Ultimate is the third highest-selling game on the platform; about one in four Switch owners bought a copy of the game. The party game quietly reached more people than 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: B𓂃reathꦐ of the Wild, a fact that's all the more impressive when you consider that Breath of tꦇhe Wild was releas𒅌ed two years before Ultimate and is available on more platforms. Ultimate is the sixth entry in the franchise – and also the best-selling game in its 26 year history.

In some ways, Ultimate's achievements are difficult to separate from the popularity of its platform. The Switch did well, and people primarily purchase Nintendo hardware to play first-party Nintendo games. Many of those franchises, lik🐲e Animal Crossing and Mario Kart 8, broke into the mainstream in a way Nintendo hadn't been able to do since the Wii introduced gamers to the concept of the casual-focused "blue ocean strategy". But beyond this built-in heightened visibility, Ultimate reached a stride for the series by going out of its way to please everyone.

Here's what we said...

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Review: “Makes a 20-year-old franchise feel brand new”

At launch, the chaotic fighting game included over 70 combatants and dozens of💃 items and levels that leveraged Nintendo's extensive history as a gaming company. Familiar faces like Mario and Link were joined by unusual inclusions, like Pit and Olimar. Every type of Nintendo fan, no matter how niche, was likely represented in Ultimate in some way. And with the series' signature accessible combat system, anyone, regardless of skill or familiarity with games at all, could jump into the game and have a good time.

With Ultimate, Nintendo finally found a balance between the disparate needs of casual consumers and competitive players. 2014's Smash Bros. 4 introduced the idea of 'For Glory' mode, which automatically turned off items and only allowed players to compete in flat stages, like Final Destination. Ultimate also included alternate competitive fo༺rms of its levels meant to reduce the randomness of level hazard and items, but with one key difference. The Switch and its online capabilities – meager as they infamously are – connected Nintendo fans more smoothly, and with better matchmaking systems than ever beforeಞ.

Though Nintendo's hardware has included internet 🥃capabilities for generations now, the Switch is the first instance where the offbeat company adopted the modern conventions of the live service distribution model. Nearly every major franchise, from Super Mario to Pokemon🉐, regularly saw updates and expansions that kept games alive well past their release date. There were quirks, sure. Who can forget the torrent of patches adding "stability" or some other vague fix? But in Ultimate's case, the live service model helped Smash Bros. become an event unto itself.

Banjo and Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

From the onset, series creat✤ive director Masahiro Sakurai made it clear that Ultimate's roster would keep growing. The delivery of this information – a Nintendo Direct – built hype through pageantry. Fighters like Street Fighter's Ken and Animal Crossing's Isabelle were introduced with dramatic trailers where the 𒅌character would beat down other beloved Nintendo stars. Part of what made these announcements so exciting was that viewers never knew what to expect. For every normal inclusion, Nintendo would suddenly introduce a curveball, like Steve from

Minecraft. Fans couldn't help but fantasize and argue about who might be next,💟 which made for excellent meme fodder. But then Nintendo would turn around and make the proverbial shitpost real, as evidenced by Ridley's inclusion.

The anticipation and celebrati🌌on of these characters brought completely disparate communities together in a way no other game has ever managed. Platform and console alle💜giances were irrelevant when it came to Ultimate. The platformer was just as likely to add an obscure Nintendo character as it was a hero owned by Sony or Microsoft. Nintendo said "" and meant it.

Ultimate received so many updates over the years that Nintendo fans would often urge Masahiro Sakurai – known overachiever and tireless worker – . Seven years later, not only is Sakurai back to work on the Switch 2's Kirby Air Riders, but wide-ranging crossovers have become a constant in games like Fortnite. Few games can bring people together and elicit the same excitement as consistently as Ultimate's characters did, though – and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:not for a lack of trying.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

And how could they? Sakurai threw his all in🍸to Ultimate; he thought 🌠it was the last one he might ever make. He called its mere existence a "" that he may never top.

"I feel we truly succeeded in making people happy with this game, but now that Smash Bros. has grown to be monstrous in size, I'd say it's difficult to imagine an increase of this magnitude happening again," . To wit, the tireless game developer has outright sai❀d that if Ultimate ever sees a follow-up, .

For some, a Smash Bros. game with a svelte roster may sound d🔯isappointin▨g. But judging from the way people talk about Ultimate, most people are united in awe that it happened at all. Just look at this , where words like “masterpiece” are thrown around earnestly.

If there’s a next Smash Bros. game – it’s hard to imagine a Nintendo console witꦑhout it – it’s possible, if not likely, that it won’t be 😼nearly as big as Ultimate. But if Sakurai, a man who spent the last few years making accessible game development videos on YouTube is involved, you can count on one thing: the next Smash Bros. will be for everyone.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Tekken 8's game director has commented on the extremely negatively received Season 2 patch after releasing an emergency patch f𓆏or the game.

While 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8 was pretty beloved at launch, the game's Season 2 update – which was released alongside the new DLC fighter, Anna Williams – has gone down like a lead zeppelin. The patch was intended to encourage more defensive play but ended up making the game even more offensive-focused (for a game that was built around offensive play, that's a bit too much). It resulted in an 'Overwhelmingly Negative' rating on the game's and caused the series' producer, Katsuhiro Harada, to admit that the backlash towards it was warranted.

Now that the emergency patch has arrived in-game, Tekken 8 game director Kohei Ikeda has to apologize for the issue. In the p🌜ost, Ikeda said, "I would like to offer my heartfelt apologies as the Game 🅰Director for the fact that the recently released Season 2 did not meet your expectations and caused inconvenience due to critical issues." He added, "We take all of your feedback and comments very seriously. The entire team is working together with full commitment to resolve these problems and deliver a better gameplay experience."

While Tekken 8's new patch hasn't solved all of the problems with Season 2 just yet, Ikeda took time to promise that "We will continue to make steady, meaningful improvements one by one, and do our utmost to regain your trust." Hopefully this will all blow over by the time Tekken 8 decides to introduce Captain Planet or whatever it's going to do to one-up Negan's arrival in Tekken 7.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> There are some people who can't tweet without it becoming news. Hideo Kojima, LocalThunk, and Masahiro Sakurai, a game developer who's worked on Kirby and was the director for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Undertale dev Toby Fox have shared some tweets about this phenomenon, an👍d now we're turning those tweets into news.

When Nintendo announced it was hosting a Di💯rect last week, Sakurai quote tweeted it with a single word that translates to something like "uh-huh," or "I see." As reported by , this word was mistranslated by Google and DeepL to "method," and this sent people spiraling trying to figure out what he meant.

Sakurai has since responded to the Au🌃tomaton article, writing, "I can't even carelessly tweet…" It must be strange having everything you post online be put under a microscope by y🦩our fans. It's a feeling Fox can relate to, as he , "A friend whose tweets are always read too deeply into.

That's the Google translation anyway. The DeepL tra🅷nslation for that tweet reads, "Friends whose tweets are read in depth every time," which is f♏airly similar. Sakurai , "Maybe… Maybe?" So should we be going through his tweets with a fine-tooth comb? Who knows...

What's cute here is noting that the two are friends, or at least Fox considers them friends. I didn't actually know Fox spoke Japanese until today, bu𓃲t when you take a look at Undertale it's clear he has an interest in Japanese a🐭rt and culture.

Sakurai has also said he's surprised the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 Direct coming later today is an hour long, and even 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:he doesn't know what's going to be in it.

What are your Nintendo Switch 2 Direct predictions? I'd love a new Smash Bros. but I'm not sure how likely that is.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Today's the big day – the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 Direct will air in a few short hours. Ahead of the stream, Nintendo confirmed that we can expect it to be "approximately 60 minutes long," making for a lengthy broadcast that'll be about the same length as the January 2017 Switch 1 presentation, something that even Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakur🅠ai seems pretty shocked about.

In a tweet posted a few hours ago (), Sakurai calls the length of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 presentation "a surprise🔯," but quickly clarifies that "I do not know the contents of the announcement (besides, I don't belong to Nintendo)."

Despite his disclaimer, he acknowledges that "people are going to suspect no matter what I say," and he knows this from experience. As Automaton points out, it was only last week that the Smash Ultimate director's short, simple response to Nintendo announcing its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:March Direct prompted fans to speculat🍌e whether he was teasing an announcement of his own. Needless to say, he wasn't and remarked that

To be fair, fans do have reason to anticipate an announcement from Sakurai at some point. Last October, he confirmed that in July 2021, he "received a request to write a game proposal" and was "given the OK to move forward with production" in October 2021. He apologized that he wasn't able to "share more about this project," but added: "Assuming that we're able to get it made, it should be announced sooner or later."

He's remained quiet on this since – we stillඣ don't have any idea what the game is or when we can expect it to surface. It's certainly one to look forward to, but it sounds like the developer knows better thaꦫn to give away any clues on Twitter.

In the meanti🔴me, we'll just have to get ready for whatever Nintendo has up its sleeve today – Sa🐷kurai says he's "looking forward to it," and he's definitely not the only one.

You can keep up with all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 Direct news in our live blog – here's hoping we get some news about 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Switch 2 games.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Capcom vs. SNK 2 is among the most beloved entries in the fighting game canon, and a new translation patch aims to give it theꦇ definitive English translation it's always deserved, complete with thousands upon thousands of lines that have never been o🃏fficially localized.

CVS2 has been officially translated numerous times, but those translations have never in♔cluded the game's Dreamcast version, which was both the original and arguably definitive home port. But now, a team of retro modders led by Derek Pascarella has released an expansive translation patch for the Dream⛦cast version, which goes above and beyond with piles of new and never-before-seen content.

"Firstly, no official Western localization ever saw the ~5,100 post-win quotes full🐟y translated," Pascarella explains on . "Instead, we got about a seventh of the original text, but heavily watered down (to put it nicely)... UNTIL TODAY! Now, all of this fun dialogue is present and in English!"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> After Tekken 8's AI ghost data allowed a fan of the series to battle the data of their deceased brotꦦher, series producer Katsuhiro Harada saw it as a possible "glimpse of where fighting ga♓mes are going."

A lot of fighting game fans face the same problem: a lot of times you're too good to play casually but not quite good enough to compete at a high level, and fighting AI just doesn't hit the same way. The ideal scenario is fighting someone locally who is roughly the same skill level as you, but that's hard to do if your area doesn't have a local fighting game community. So you're forced to enter the cesspool of online and deal with either toxicity or terrible connections (or both; shout-outs to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros.). But Tekken 8 took a step to 💫change this with its AI ghost system.

In Tekken 8, the game notes down your data while you play, and from there you can enter the 'Super Ghost Battle' mode, which allows you to 💞take on an AI version of you. This mode is fantastic as a learning tool, as you can learn your flaws without having to pour over replay data, plus fighting a Super Ghost is way more engaging than the regular AI. While it is a great teaching tool, it had an unexpected effect, in that it allowed a Tekken player to who had passed away shortly after Tekken 8 launched last year🥀 with the help of Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada.

Harada spoke at GDC 2025, with translation by Michael Murray (who has also worked on the series since Tekken 4). During the panel 'Tekken: Staying Relevant as a 30 Year ൲Old Franchise' – which was attended by GamesRadar+ – Harada spoke about this interaction. Murray said, "An unforeseen thing that kind of appeared out of this new technology, was also… a person in the community, their brother passed away, and they asked Harada if he could have a copy of the brother's ghost, because it actually felt like he was playing against his brother to help him kind of remember t🐬hose times."

While it was definitely💛 an emoti🅠onal experience, this story also stuck out to Harada as an "example of some of the cool stuff that we can achieve with this new technology and maybe a glimpse of where fighting games are going." He added, "maybe you don't necessarily need an opponent who is human that has the exact same skill level as you to enjoy the game. There might be some kind of features like this that can provide a better experience overall."

Katsuhiro Harada also recently revealed that he left Namco for a year due to stress caused by the negative reception to Tekken 4.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Super Smash Bros. series director and Kirby creator Masahiro Sakurai is "conscious" that game developers can't "compete" with the work of some professions, like doctors, but he still belie🐎ves games can "buff" peoples' everyday lives regardless.

While accepting a lifetime achievement award at the 30th AMD Ceremony earlier this week, Sakurai broke down why he spent hundre🐽ds of thousands of dollars creating a YouTube channel🔜 where he gave the public three decades of pent up game dev advice at no coꦜst.

"I did something extremely irrational on my channel," Sakurai said, as reported on by and translated by , "I disseminated all of my knowledge as a game director to the whole world for free. Why did I do that? I feel like I'm losing to a lot of professions out there. While I am making my own contributions, I can't eꦏven hope to compete with what 🐼doctors do, for instance."

Sakurai explained the insecurity stems from the fact that "without peace and health, people cannot enjoy digital entertainment" like the mega-p🔜opular games he makes. "This is somethi🧔ng I'm conscious of."

Still, he's not entirely hopeless about the career path he's gone down since the '90s and thinks games can "'buff' peoples' lives, making it an extremely rewarding profession." That's an incredibly fighting game-coded way of phrasing things, but if anyone can get away with it, it's the man who successfully buffed and nerfed and bﷺalanced 86 characte꧑rs to perfection.

Sakurai hasn't publicly announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the next game he's working on after his magnum opus 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Unbelievably, Clive, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 16 protagonist with the most ordinary name possible, is the most popular guest character in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8, and he's even more popular than 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Walking Dead's Negan was in Tekken 7.

The Tekken games already have an iconic roster of characters, from protagonists Jin and Mishima to the tiger wrestler King and gun-toting Nina Williams. But, as eclectic and exciting as they are, it doesn't hurt to throw some new faces into the batch from time to 🅺time.

For years, we've been begging Harada to put Final Fantasy 7's Tifa into Tekken. The brawler would be a perfect fit for the game, but instead, we got Clive. People 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:didn't react well at the time, but one redditor h꧟as proven he's actually been incredibly popular since he was added December 16, 2024.

"First up, the star of this post, Clive Rosfield," writes a redditor who crunched the numbers and discovered which characters are most used in ranked mode. "He's very popular. He's literally the most popular guest character ever. He's signific🦩antly more popular than the 2nd most popular guest, Negan. And he's leagues ahead of Noctis. Despite what people said about wanting Tifa, it turns out that tons of people picked up Clive."

This speaks to a common problem in games; 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:we澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: simply don't know what we want. Sure, everyone says they want Tifa, but then we still end up using Clive anyway. It helps that ☂a lot of fans have been saying , so it's no wonder he's been dominating the ranked scene for so long – he sits just behind King.

Druganov ha𝄹s been dethroned by Jin, which is good, because Druganov's moves always felt like they were filled with genuine malice. He fights far more viciously than anyone else. I don't know how to describe why, there's just something more sinister to him than anyone else on the roster.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada has revealed how the reception to Tekken 4 affected him, sharing that he actually left Namco before returning for its sequel.

It feels like with every new Tekken release there's a group of the fanbase labeling it "the worst Tekken ever" within a year. We're seeing it right now with Tekken 8 we saw it with Tekken 7, and I'm sure we'll see it with whatever's next. But if there's a game that is almost unanimously considered 'the worst Tekken,' it's got to be Tekken 4. Now, following up the one-two punch of Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament is undoubtedly a daunting task (and you could argue whatever came after would be disliked no matter how good it is), but some of the big changes in Tekken 4 just did not hit at ꦯ༺the time.

Responding to a fan praising 🌜the game Harada said, "I’m aware of that kind of praise. But back t📖hen, I was absolutely bombarded with criticism." Adding, "I didn’t have a single ally. Not one." He revealed that the stress of Tekken 4's release affected his health, saying, "I was under so much stress at the time that I developed a mysterious condition where all the hair on the right side of my body fell out."

Harada later revealed that Tekken 4 caused him to leave Namco (now Bandai Namco), where he has worked since starting his game career. "There was a period — just for about a year before development on Tekken 5 began — when I 🐻left Namco due to the stress and shock. It’s not a widely known fact, though." Tekken 5 went on to become arguably the most beloved game in the series outside of Tekken 3, so it turned out pretty well.

The Tekken producer did acknowledge that Tekken 4 is less of a punching bag than it was back in the 2000s, saying, "Now, in the present day, the critics have all forgotten their complaints, and only those who want to praise the game remain. That’s the only reason it's being treated like a masterpiece." But, regardless of its quality, Harada says that Tekken 4 "remains a constant reminder and lesson to myself."

Speaking of which, a new Tekken game has just been announced in the form of
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken: The Board Game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> AI is being pushed at us from all angles. From Google Docs and meetings to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Minecraft assistants, you can't escape it. But 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken legend Katsuhirꦏo Harada doesn't think the technology i🀅s all it's hyped up to be.

"Back when I was a student, I was mentally preparing for th꧑e day AI would rapidly evolve and launch a war against humanity – like in Terminator," Harada tweets. "Now I'm well past the halfway point of life, and here I am, staring at a compiler that halts over a single dumb typo in game dev: 'Error on line 3082.' Seriously? You're telling me these AI programs are gonna declare war on us, but they still freeze up over a full-width space?"

AI is the kind of thing that's very impressive when you're not actually that much of an expert in whatever you're asking it to do, or you're asking it to do something incredibly simple, like make you a shopping list. Once you know anything💖 about a topic, though, the facade starts to crumble.

"When exactly are you, AI, coming to kill me," Harada asks, "10 years? 20? At this rate, it's too l🥃ate. Every time I see the news talk about 'amazing advances in AI,' I just roll my eyes."

Me too, Harada, me too. I find most AI arguments I have with people actually boil down to what they believe the technology will be able to do several years from now rather than what 🉐it actually does today. Sure, AI can summarize the work of other people, but right now, ChatGPT can't play a new game and write a guide of its own – it🧸 can only regurgitate what humans have already written.

"It's slow," Harada writes. "If AI had really advanced, we wouldn’t be pouring 10, 20, 30 billion Yen into making games. Truth is, anyone deep into high-end water-cooled PCs has already felt it: Moore's Law is slowing down. AI's progress? Way too damn slow. At this rate, I'm gonna die of🌌 old age before the Terminator shows up. If I die before Skynet comes online… does🙈n't that mean I win?"

Harada has a point here. At least for him, as long as he doesn't get replaced, what does he care what happens with AI? Sure, maybe I'll be out of a job one day because of it. But I think 🍷it's far more likely companies get sick of burning money and the planet, and they move onto the next fad in a few years.

AI could never replace someone as brilliantly online as Harada, anyway. Remember when he told us to stop sending him character ideas because 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:he doesn't want to get sued? Or when he said 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:he "didn't mean to lie" about Mishima's fate? Truly a generation♑al tale♏nt.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Masahiro Sakurai, the legendary mind behind 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the beloved 25-year-old series behind it, thinks developers in Japan should focus on creating more games "that Japanꦍese people like"🀅 after a shift to "Americanized works."

Speaking in a recent interview with reported by , Sakurai explains what he thinks the Japanese gaming industry should do in the future to ensure steady growth similar to the success seen in other countries' own industries like that of China's. "It's not really my own idea," reveals the director, "🥂but as an industry trend, I think Japanese people should keep pursuing the things that Japanese people like."

Sakurai describes how the success of Japanese games in the United States kickstarted a trend of developers "making Americanized works" rather than focusing on more loca🥂l consumers' tastes – or their own. "Yo𒐪u could say that there was a culture of following de facto standards," states the Super Smash Bros. lead, referring to the standards adopted by the industry as a whole as a result of competition within the market.

He doesn't think that the overseas market is actually searching for this more "Americanized," filtered experience, however, "but rather, I think that they seek the uniqueness and fun of Japanese games." That's why, as Sakurai says, devs should remain true to t🅺heir own interests rather than perceived expectations: "I think that the ideal would be to make games the way y꧟ou like, as those who agree with you will enjoy them."

Sakurai concludes that it's vital for devs to "do things freely" while creating new games – but he does emphasize that his opinion is just that. As a longtime fan of JRPGs and other titles from Japan myself, though, I'm inclined to agree with him. After all, some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best JRPGs out ♔there arguably stand the test of time as genre gems thanks to their creators' freedom of express🅷ion and divergence from industry "standards."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Folks, wrap it up. Super Smash Bros. has reached its peak, and I fear it may never be topped thanks to what's being hailed as the greatest 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate clip, showing Minecraft Steve constructing and deploying a Tﷺrojan Horse mid match to destroy an unsuspect🐎ing opponent.

Ever since 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steve was added to Ultimate, he's widely been considered one of the best, if not the best fighter in the game, and a big part of that is thanks to his ability to create and place blocks. The guy can very quickly pop down blocks both on the ground and in the air, which can be used to make new (temporary) platforms, stop incoming attacks, and other evil things like prevent opponents from recovering onto the stage. Even when he first showed this ability off, director that latter option as "dreadful," so that's how you know it's good.

Anyway, while there are definitely plenty of optimal ways to use the block placement ability, one player has now shown off the absolute funniest. Over on Twitter, @MickbroEthan has been plotting a devious strategy , and has finally pulled it off. P🔯lease, behold the glory of Trojan Horse Minecraft Steve.

As you can see in the player's old blueprint (below), the idea is to quickly build a horse shape out of wooden blocks while placing a minecart in the center of it for Steve to sit in💟. Then, after the blocks break – either independently over time or due to the opponent hitting them – the minecart falls to the ground and Steve begins hurtling towards his foe. Would you ever have the opportunity to pull this off in an actual competitive tournament? Perhaps not. But that doesn't matter one bit in the face of the best Steve clip of all time, if not the most brilliant Ultimate clip in general.

"I know Steve is ban-worthy but I think this has to be the best Smash clip of all time right," . "This is without [a]🐻 doubt the single funniest Smash Ultimate clip of all time it's not even close. It's not up for discussion actually. This is Ultimate's legacy as far as I'm concerned," . "I don't care if he's broken tell me how this isn't the funniest fucking character in this game's entire history," .

As the one behind the clip puts it, "we got Greek tactics in Smash before 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 6," and I for one hope this brings in a new era of Steve shenanigans. Now we just need someone to prove that it actually is competitively viable.

It's stuff like this that proves why Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games of all time.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Sup൲er Smash Bros cr🦹eator Masahiro Sakurai has praised late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's role in not only bringing the iconic fighting series to life, but keeping it going, too.

In a (translated via Google), Sakurai is asked how meeting Iwata for a job interview at HAL Laboratory affected his work. In short, quite a bit. Sakurai says he might not have joined HAL if not for Iwa🍒ta, and had the Nint෴endo icon not made the prototype for Smash Bros. to begin with, it may not have been released to the world at all. Sakurai also says the series "might have died out" had Iwata not asked him to make Super Smash Bros. Brawl after he left HAL Laboratory.

Given all of that, Sakurai says, "there's no doubt that he influenced me in many ways." The influence 🅺Sakurai speaks of, though, is more about the direction of his career than his craft – that he did on his own.

Sakurai recalls a senior colleague being mean to him when he first joined the company. After asking the difference between a proposal and a specification𓃲, he was told one was a proposal, and the other was, get this, a specification. Sakurai then knew going the self-taught route was probably for the best.

Unhelpful colleagues aside, it's all worked out rather well for Sakurai. Aside from oodles of beloved games under his belt, it was tha🐼t he's being honored by the Japanese government for h♉is exceptional YouTube videos. Sakurai might have been largely self-taught, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't learn from the greats.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Mortal Kombatꦐ 2 was a pretty advanced arcade game when it launched in 1993, to the point where none of the contemporary home consoles of the time could really do the fighter justice. It turns out, though, that one console of the time actually was capable of handling MK2 - it just took 32 years for so𝔉mebody to do the work of bringing the game to 3DO.

The 3DO launched in 1993 as the brainchild of EA founder Trip Hawkins. The idea was that the console spec would be licensed out to third-party manufacturers, who would then make their own devices that could play 3DO games. The first 3DO consoles were built by Panaso🅺nic and launched at an eye-watering price tag of $699 USD, which is about $1,500 today, accounting for inflation - a price that could put the PS5 Pro to shame.

With that price♉ tag, you might expect the 3DO to have some pretty advanced hardware for the time, and nowhere is that clearer than with a new, fanmade Mortal Kombat 2 port to the fail🌠ed console. You can check out below, and if you've played any other contemporary ports of MK2, the quality is immediately apparent.

We've got giant sprites, minimal load times, and fantastic sound - features that eไven the game's best '90s ports struggled to match. "The assets are sourced from the original arcade version but the game itself was coded from scratch and eyeballed to try and match the arcade gameplay," according to a from the port's developer, who goes by FenixTx119, and that just makes this version all the more impressive.

These days, the need for a full-on console port of MK2 is a bit questionable since emulation can let us play the original arcade release in nearly perfect fidelity, but I'm always going to be impressed by the ingenuity of fan developers bringing classic games to derelict consoles. If we're getting the likes of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GTA 3 and Vice City on 🌌the Dreamcast, the sky's the li꧂mit to what retro consoles can manage𓆏.

Mortal Kombat 1 makes good on a 30-year tradition of trolling fans by introducing a confusing, labyrinthine quest to fight pink Floyd, a new ninja.

"We’ve seen and enjoyed the crazy memes and the hysteria of the subreddit whil⭕e waiting for the Feb update, aꦰnd wanna correct some of the misinformation going around," he writes.

Rather than sticking to th♓e original plan of running a "larger-scale global playtest" in March, there will be a "much smaller one." This is so that the team can work on the game itself and ensure that more of you can play it later this year.

The autocombo system in 2XKO is also being reworked. Pulse Fuse is an ability you can select at the start of a match and works similarly to Tekken 8's beginner-friendly control scheme where basic combos can be activated with shorter button sequences, but doesn't really allow for the full moveset of a character to be utilized. Now, "Pulse is removed and replaced with an autocombo setting that each player can toggle on or off during champ select." This means you'll be able to use a different Fuse but newbies can still ge♊t the benefits of Pulse.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8 was my first fighting game and I enjoyed the beginner setting, but quickly realized it﷽s shortcomings. That could be toggled on and off♑ at will, so I think this is a good change for 2XKO, even though it can only be toggled during character selection.

Replacing Pulse is a new Fuse called Sidekick. If you choose it, "your point and assist neverಞ switch. Instead, your assist champ stays sidelined to support your point champ, who gains additional health."

This Is a result of feedback from those🃏 of you who wanted to play more of a supporting role in the fights so that you can learn the game at your own pace rather than fighting for your🅘 life on the frontlines.

As for any other "cool stuff" you may have seen the team "cooking", Rivera says🌜 "we are not quite ready to talk about that just yet."

While you wait for the full launch of 2XKO, here are some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games you can play right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Netflix has acquired the rights to the Sifu movie ♔in the works from John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski.

The Sifu ad🦄aptation was first reported on back in December 2022, less than a year after the game's initial release on PlayStation and PC. At the﷽ time, the project was described as a live-action adaptation of the game with John Wick writer and creator Derek Kolstad attached to p♋en the script and his production company, Story Kitchen, winning a competitive bid for the rights.

Now, more than two years later, Netflix has "come aboard" the project and will be streaming it wh💦en it releases at an undisclosed date. Notably, Kolstad isn't mentioned in the press release or in , but Story Kitchen is still listed as a producer.

Meanwhile Stahelski🔥, who directed John Wick 1-4, is producing under his 87Eleven Entertainment, alongside Dmitri M. Johnson and Mi𝓰ke Goldberg for Story Kitchen.

"From the moment we played, we knew this had all the makings of an unforgettable cinematic experience—pulse-pounding action, deep emotional stakes, and a unique take on martial arts storytelling," said Johnson and Goldberg in a joint statement.ꦰ "Teaming up with 87Eleven Entertainment, the best in the world when it comes to action filmmaking, is a dream come true. Their mastery of choreography and visceral storytelling is the perfect match to bring SIFU to life on screen. With Netflix behind us, we're ready to deliver an action film unlike any other."

T.S. Nowlin, best known for writing The Maze Runner movie trilogy, is penning the S🍸ifu script.

Sifu is an actꦯion-packed martial arts story set in modern-day China, putting players into the shoes of a ma🍨rtial arts school's sifu (master) who's dead-set on delivering justice to those responsible for their father's death.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Fatal Fury femme fatale Mai Shiranui recently jไoined Street Fighter 6 as one of the fighting game series' fir꧅st guest characters, and her winsome existence seems to have made developer Capcom suddenly develop a worm in its brain and, uh, elsewhere.

It seems like all of St🌠reet Fighter's have temporarily paused posting quotidian, asexual things like updates, bug fixes, etc. in order to collapse to their knees and start barking like untrained puppies. , Capcom posts romantic footage of Mai's – let's face it – giant boobs – defyiꦚng gravity as she leaps into a backflip amid cherry blossoms to the tune of Kelis' "Milkshake."

"Mai's milkshake brings all her foes to the yard," Capcom declares in the cꦡaption. Sure, Ca♏pcom, just her "foes." On Twitter, Capcom again references the song – which is about tits, ass, or any number of sexual acts, depending on who you ask – Mai "can teach you, but she'll have to charge."

Right. So, I've been noticing that Capcom is trying to be sneaky about all its barely veiled innuendos, following up winky references to how Mai is obviously so hot, it's an evolutionary innovation, with references to or footage of her . Th🔥at said, the developer is doing an embarrassing job of acting coy. Its pheromones are gushing like water from a fire hydrant. I can hear its horny wailing from like, three Street Fighters away.

"Play ♚Mai for two reasons," on Twitter, "ninja trickery and aerial attacks." OK, sure. "She's giving fierce. She's slaying," .

But what am I supposed to make of Capcom's that "Mai from Fatal Fury promises to warm you up when she bounces in to #StreetFighter6 on February🌸 5. Don't keep her waiting," with a fire emoji at the end? Capcom has even added with its Mai update, allowing players to pause more easily. I have an idea: how about you all pause and look 🍃inward?

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> After just four months, Dragon Ball: Sparkin⭕g Zero is officially the fastest-selling Dragon Ball console game to ever release with 5 million ✃units sold worldwide.

The news comes straight from publisher Bandai Namco. Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero launched on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC back in October to solid reviews. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:GamesRadar+'s 3/5-star review is on the lower end of the game's respectable , but we still praised the game's extensive roster, customization and b𒁏attle options, and its faithfulness to the anime and manga it's based on.

Just a couple of months later, an industry analyst shared data suggesting Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was not only the best-selling game i💖n the series but also one of B🍌andai Namco's best-selling games ever. In other words, I'm not shocked to see it topping the list of the Dragon Ball series' fastest selling console games, but the accomplishment is still noteworthy.

It's unclear whether the "console" qualifier is meaningful here and there's a PC, mobile, or arcade Dragon Ball game that shifted units🎀 fas🍷ter than Sparking Zero, but I couldn't find one in my research.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is the first new entry in the long-running Budokai Tenkaichi fighting series since 2010's Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team launched for the PSP 15 years ago. With a massive roster of over 180 characters and tie-ins with the new Dragon Ball Daima anime series 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:and Akira Toriyama's final film, it's no surprise it's popular with fans.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Having 12,🏅000 abs isn't all fun and muscle – it's hard work, as hottie creator and Ninja Gaiden developer Koei Tecmo discovered after receiving🎉 too many gifts addressed to its fictional characters. The company is once again standing up for itself, repeating in it will not accept Valentine's Day presents addressed to staff or game protagonists.

"We are very grateful for these gifts," Koei Tecmo writes in the announcemen🍎t , and according to a DeepL translation. "However, due to the difficulty of receiving gifts and the impact on safety, we are declining to accept gifts on Valentine's Day and [reciprocal Japanese holiday] White Day this year."

"We appreciate your understanding and cooperation," th꧃💯e publisher continues.

Glancing over Koei Tecmo's roster of chiseled warriors and magnificent ninjas in shapewear – especially in the 1996 fighting game series Dead or Alive – I can see what has fans stocking up on red roses and milk chocolate. But, boundaries, people. Dead or Alive teen princess Kasumi, who apparently can't use her dexterity to combat against the wispy bikinis she keeps getting🌳 put into, has suffered enough without having to peruse unwanted holiday cards.

While Automaton notes it's common in Japan for fans to send their favorite characters Valentine's Day treats, Koei Tecmo seems to have had its fill of longing. Earlier this month, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the company revealed it takes action against up to 3,000 pieces of fan art a year, in part because some of it is way too risqué🔴. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Warner Bros. Games has announced that MultiVersus, its divisive platform fighter, is going offline again later this yea🎃r, this time for good, a full 12 months after its revival.

WB Games says the game's next season will be its la🍎st seasonal update, at which point online features will be removed, and the game will be delisted from digital storefronts. "MulltiVersus Season 5 will begin on February 4, 2025, and run through May 30, 2025, adding two new playable characters to the roster - DC's Aquaman and Looney Tunes' Lola Bunny," an announcement 𒉰reads.

Once that season sunsets, so will all of the game's online features, however. Thankfully, you'll still be able to brawl in local co-op modes or against the game's bots. "To do this, you'll need to install/download the latest version of the game and log ꦅin during Season 5... allowing you to enjoy the game offline with all earned and purchased content moving forward." Speaking of, real money microtransactions are being removed toꦿday, though you can use your existing Gleamium currency until that May death date.

MultiVersus seemed like a surefire hit when it first hit the scene. Take what works in Super Smash Bros, but do it with Warner Brothers' list of iconic characters, featuring everything from Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones, Looney Tunes, and DC. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Datamined MultiVersus characters even included names from Harry Potter and Wicked, as well. Unfortunately, a grindingly slow progression system somewhat snipped whatever momentum the fighter had at launch. A couple of months in, WB Games decided that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Multiversus had se𒐪cretl🔥y been in open beta and abruptly took it down. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:It then relaunched last May with slower 💃gameplay, fewer modes, and a progression syst𝐆em that seemed even more controversial.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Mortal Kombat has a decades-long tradition of trolling series fans with the tease of se🌸cret characters who may or may not really exist. Mortal Kombat 1 is not giving up on that game, and a new secret hunt for a pink ninja named Floyd is quickly turning into on💞e of the franchise's weirdest, wildest secret hunts yet.

Mortal Kombat 1 just got 🅘a fresh update alongside the introduction of its new DLC guest character, Conan the Barbarian. As notes, fans quickly discovered that the update introduced a series of hints and teasers leading to a secret fight with the pink niꦺnja, Floyd.

has been spearheading efforts to understand how to unlock this fight. It appears that there are 37 hidden challenges for doing things like getting a win with nothing but sweeps, or beating Scorpion as Scorpion with only spear attacks. There's a tracking all the challenges, and each time you complete one, you'll hear a little guitar riff and see a F🌟loyd icon appear.

But which challenges do you need to complete, and how many? That's the part that people haven't yet managed to figure out. You definitely don't need to complete all 37 challenges to make Floyd ಞappear, but everybody seems to get a different secret list of challenges to complete with little clear indication of what you need to do. The closest thing to hint you might get is a quick cameo from Floyd, who has a chance of appearing after you've played 100 ladder matches and dropping a quick teaser about an active challenge.

Once Floyd finally does appear, you can expect a pretty serious fight against a ninja with a familiar moveset built from other existing characters. The fight takes places on a unique field stage, and ifꦫ you manage to beat Floyd, you get to unlock and use that stage for yourself. Sadly, Floyd himself doesn't join your roster.

If the whole "pink Floyd" thing and the Dark Side of the Moon-style rainbow prism that accompanies his entrance didnꦬ't tip you off, this is indeed a reference to English rock band Pink Floyd. Back in 2022, series boss Ed Boon in response to a fan asking about new ninja characters: "I honestly want to make a PINK ninja and name him FLOYD. No kidding." I guess he really was serious.

This whole thing mirrors the introduction of series mainstay Rain back in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Rain showed up as a purple-clad cameo in the arcade version of the game, tantalizing players wit♚h the promise that there was another new ninja to unlock somehow. Of course, it was all just a gag - Purple Rain being a goofy Prince reference - but Rain did eventually become a playable character in the console versions of the game. Mortal Kombat's grand tradition of trolling fans with obscure Easter eggs goes back decades, and I'm glad to see it's not stoppꦿing in the modern era.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> There's a lot of horny fanart out in the world, and some of it is so extreme that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dead or Alive publish💙er Koei Tecmo takes down thousands of posts a year.

In a new report from (with translations provided by ) based on the recent Tokyo esports Festa 2025, Tomotoshi Nishimura, general manager of Koei Tecmo’s legal affairs d🍷epartment shed some light on how the company feels about fanart.

Nishimura says that Koei Tecmo has no issue with fans creating art based on characters they love, and the company even supports those profi🐟ting from their fanart as evidenced by it sponsoring events like Comiket where people sell fanart.

However, the company does have boundariꦫes it enforces. It takes "strict action" against two to three thousand pieces of fanart each year. One reason it will take down fanart is if it's based on art from video games that aren't out yet. Another big reason is if fanart includes characters that have been changed to suit "adult purposes" and could therefore damag🌸e their reputation.

Nishimura says the Koei Tecmo developers see the characters they make "like daughters," which is slightly concerning given 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:just how horny even the official art of the Dead or Alive cast is.

At the same event, Nintendo's IP manager Koji Nishiura spoke about copyright law, and said, "you can't immediately claim that an emulator is illegal in itself, [but] it ಞcan become illegal depending on how it'☂s used."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> Bandai Namco has just lifted the veil on the first Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero DLC. As previously announced, the cont♐ent will focus on the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, but now we know it'll feature 11 ad๊ditional characters, including no fewer than 4 Gohans and 4 Piccolos.

The Hero of Justice DLC pack officially launches on January 23, but Season Pass owners will get three days of early access starting January 20 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm GMT. This first DLC pack adds a new costume and three custom battles, but the main content is, of course, the 11 new playable characters. We've got Gamma 1, Gamma 2, Cell Max, and the four Super Hero-themed variants of G💝ohan and Piccolo. You can see them all in action in the trailer above.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was released in 2022, 🐷and currently stands as the most recent Dragon Ball film. It's notably the final movie that series creator Akira Toriyama worked on, and the final piece of Dragon Ball media that Toriyama oversaw from beginning to end before his death in 2024.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> When it comes to making games, Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sak✃urai believes that working out the amount of content included in them early on is important, which is perhaps unsurprising when you consider just how much was packed into his latest fighting game installment.

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be seven years old this December, if you can believe it, but I'm still in awe at the sheer amount of stuff that the devs included. Alongside the endlessly replayable main fighting mode, we got a full-fledged campaign, the return of every fighter who'd ever featured in the series, a further 12 DLC characters to pack out an enormous 82-character roster, and much, much more. It's the sort of game that could keep you busy forever if you wanted it to, w🐼hich makes sense considering Sakurai's latest comments in an interview with .

In the interview (translated by Google and verified using DeepL), Sakurai talks about the importance of cons♎idering 💫a game's "volume," noting that he plays other developers' games to the end as often as he can. This helps give an idea of "the volume of modern games," as well as how satisfying they are to complete, he says.

Although you can certainly get an understanding of how a game works just from playing a bit of it, Sakurai argues that approach would mean you don't really know "how many hours it can be played, how much fun it offers," and how it e🥃volves unless you complete it.

He reiterates that a game's volume is "something that should not be underestimated,🔯" although that's clearly not just to ensure players are kept busy, as he notes🎀 that it influences manpower and the costs behind it. It's for this reason that he thinks it's "important to be able to show the approximate volume estimate" from a game's proposal stage.

We already know that Sakurai is working on his next game, although we don't know what it's going to be, or how big it is. Based on these latest comments, though, it sounds like the developer himself must have a good idea of that by now – after all, it's apparently been in development since August 2022.

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai says he'll make a game "even if it's the opposite of what I like," because "you have to think of it as work, not entertainment."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai may be the mastermind behind loads of iconic games, but he doesn't limit himself to only creating things that suit his own tastes, as he's now gone so far as to say he'd even make something that was "🐬the opposite" of what he likes if he had to.

🌳In a new (translated by Googl🅠e, and verified with DeepL), Sakurai was asked what he thinks about when it comes to manufacturing games, and it primarily boils down to the "finished image" and "the users who will play it."

"The job of making games is to create entertainment. However, if you are going to sell them, you have to think of it as work, not entertainment," he explains. "That's what it means to be a professional. Even if it's the opposi⛄te of what I like, I'll make it if it's necessary."

This does have a benefit for Saku❀rai, though, as he adds that he doesn't plan games based on his own preferences but rather with the ultimate goal of making players happy.

Going back to the point he makes about envisaging the final product, he notes that having "some idea" of what a game will look like when it's done is important, "because if you're making one big game, it's going to take years of time to figure out the path forward." This is ꦜalso crucial if you're working with a team, since changing things part way through could confuse people.

Back in October last year, Sakurai revealed that in the last three years, he'd completed a proposal for a new game, which has apparently been in development since August 2022. However, he didn't give away ꩲany details about it, and instead teased: "I'm sorry I can't share more about this project, but assuming that we're able to get it made, it should 🍬be announced sooner or later."

Super Smash Bros creator says the $600k he spent on his YouTube channel was "an investment toward a brighter future for games," so it's fine he made no money off it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> If you exist in the venn diagram centre of Final Fantasy fan and Tekken enjoyer, than chances are you've encountered the countless online pleads f🧜or Final Fantasy 7's Tifa to be added to the fist-fighting series. Maybe you're one of the people who've begged for it yourself over the years. Good news, then: all hope isn't lost for a collaboration.

Earlier this month, Tifa stans reacted about as well as you'd expect when Tekken 8 revealed that the last DLC character coming in its Y🐠ear One roadmap was none other than 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 16's Clive - a real 'we were this close' situation. Tekken is traditionally a hand-to-hand fighting series and Tifa is her series🅺' most famous boxer, s𝔍o it seemed like a perfect match. Series producer Katsuhiro Harada even the intense fan demand earlier this year, only to pull a switcharoo with Clive.

But, now, when asked about the possibility of other Final Fantasy characters joining the🍰 game, Harada laughingly told that "it's not like we're only limited to one character from Final Fantasy." He obviously doesn't say anything definitive aside from the fact that it "might be cool if we had two, who knows," while acknowledging it's "not something that we can decide alone" since Square Enix would also need to sign off on it.

Harada went on to say that when deciding on 💯crossover fighters, the team takes into consideration what's a "good match fo👍r our brand," what character's "fighting style" fits in with the rest of the roster, and the "atmosphere of the character that we think would go quite well with Tekken," as well as "timing" the collaboration well so both series benefit from the DLC.

I don't mean to get anyone else's - or my own - hopes too high, but Tekken 8 is gearing up for a Year 2 pass that'll add even more fighters to the mix throughout 2025. Tifa lovers can just keep their fingers crossed and fists clenched, then. Or you can see more from her in 澳洲🌼幸𓆉运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's PC port coming next month.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was already a major success, but one analyst has now revealed that it's the best-se🐲lling game in the series and one of the best-selling games in publisher Bandai Namco's history.

Spe🏅aking to GamesRadar+, Circana's executive director and games analyst Mat Piscatella said that he was "as surprised as anybody, not only for it to be the best-selling Dragon Ball game, but to be among the best-selling Ba🧔ndai Namco games all time." Bandai Namco have, of course, "had some really big hits over the years," from multiple anime spin-offs to Elden Ring's juggernaut success, so Sparking Zero was just another jewel in its crown.

"I wasn't expecting this," Piscatella said. "It sure didn't hurt that it had that huge cast of characters and beloved IP allowing people to kind of dig into the history of that thing. Even though I've never personally watched it, I know people are very passionate about Dragon Ball... I'd agree with you that this thing has been one 🍃heck of a nice surprise in a year that's been kind of rough overall."

Bamco had announced that the arena fighter sold more than three million copies in its first day alone and Circana's charts has it as the second best-selling game of October 2024 in the US, behind only Call of Duty and ahead of the likes of Silent Hill 2, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Metaphor: ReFantazio - so, a massive success by any metric. Overall, Piscatella more recently revealed that it only sits behind Elden Ring and Da🧔rk Souls 3 in Bandai Namco's catalogue

But while Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero might have crept up on some people, the game clearly had millions of eyeballs pre-launch because it was bringing back parts of the beloved Budokai Tenkaichi series - which had Dragon Ball characters blasting it up in massive 3D landscapes - that hadn't received a new entry since 2007. Sparking Zero's marketing also leaned into some of the most nostal൲gic parts of thಞe series as a whole, and gene🌞rally built hype levels sky high.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> After constant begging, pleading, and praying from Final Fantasy fans who want nothing more than to see Tifa in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tekken 8, the fighting game's final DLC character of its year 1 pass has been revealed, and it's none other than 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Final Fantasy 16 star Clive Rosfield.

Clive is a cool dude. People love Clive. But the dedicated Tifa fanbase has been begging for Cloud's childhood bestie to be added to Tekken 8 since the start, to the point that Tekken veteran Katsuhiro Harada even acknowledged the demand back in January. At the time, that "we have not decided anything about guest characters," but obviously, a lot has changed in the m🐲eantime, and poor Tifa is nowhere to be seen, despite a different Final Fantasy character now present and accounted for.

"IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HER… TIFA WAS LITERALLY MADE FOR TEKKEN c'mon man," one . "Tifa just makes more sense as a guest charac♔ter for Tekken. Also, a more popular character," . "Clive over Tifa this can not be," , processing the news.

Obviously though, that's not to say that no one is happy that Clive's here – he's getting plenty of love, too. "I mean Tifa was robbed but I loved FF16 and he is hot so I'm not mad," . Others have pointed out that thanks to the antics of Clive's voice actor, Ben Starr, we've sort of been given the best of both worlds. Sort of.

Anyway, Clive will b♒e available 72 hours early for any players with the Playable Character Year 1 Pass, meaning it'll be possible to play as him fr𒊎om December 16. He's being introduced alongside a new battle stage, Phoenix Gate, as a, uh, not-so-jolly throwback to his tragic past.

It's also worth noting that Clive's inclusion doesn't mean that Tifa has been permanently ruled out, although admitte🐬dly it does seem increasingly less likely that she♔'ll make an appearance in Tekken 8 at this point. Don't give up hope though, Tifa fans.

Our roundup of everything announced at The Game Awards 2024 will make sure you're up to date on all of the huge announcements from last night.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Fighting ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact is a fighting game by Eighting due out next year, but Australia has effectively banned it by refusing clas🌠sification.

As reported by , the Australian Classification Board hit it with a . 🌄No reason was given🐠 for the refusal, but we have reached out to the Board for further clarification.

Hunter x H෴unter Nen x Impact seems like an odd game to be refused classification. don't appear to show anything overly graphic like blood or dismemberment, although the anime does contain a drug known as D², so if that's in the game it might explain why it hasn't been classified.

Australia is, perhaps surprisingly to many given the chill vibe it projects internationally, a very strict country when it comes to video game classifications. It banned Fallout 3 due to its inclusion of what was considered realistic drug use – Med-X was originally called morphine. In fact, on our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:list of 19 banned games, three were banned in Australia.

It was originally due to launch in 2024, but the release date has been pushed back to allow the developers to implement rollback netcode. This is a technology that effectively emulates online players as loc༺al opponents by predicting what they'll do, which helps to reduce latency during online 🔯matches. If the prediction is correct, it just happens, but if it's wrong the game will shift to the right inputs. Done well, this should be imperceptible to players. Computers are very fast.

Eighting 🔥has quite a pedigree amongst fighting games, having developed Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and DNF Duel. Hopefully the issue in Australia can be sorted ou🐼t so everyone can enjoy the game when it comes out.

In the meantime, check out some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best fighting games you can play right now.
