My favorite part about gaming is playing with others – whether that's people I've met through games themselves, reconnecting with old friends or even playing with strangers. A prime example of this is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a game which managed to connect people frꦑom all corners of the globe during a time of unparalleled isolation.
𝔍澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons review: "The ultimate getaway from reality"
As a first-year estranged student during the first Covid-19 lockdown, I didn't have a home to retreat to like the rest of my university friends did. I was in a city I barely knew, living in a dingey studio apartment, with practicall🐭y no support system – until a chance text from a friend. "Have you got Animal Crossing: New Horizons?"
Up until that point, my Nintendo Switch 💯had done nothing but collect dust during lockdown. I normally used it to play party games like Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros when I had friends over – which was now out of the question – but I absolutely adored Animal Crossing: New Leaf, so figured I may as ✤well give it a try.
I bought the game and began setting up my island. Another text. "What fruit ൩did you get?"
"Peaches," I respond.
"Great, I have apples, I'm coming over to take some peaches and you can have some of my apples," she texted back. Within minutes she was on my island, tradin🦂g fruit with me, something I didn't even know people did. Boy, was I in for a surprise. She followed me around as I did some landscaping, and for the﷽ first time in a while, I felt like I was actually hanging out with a friend.
As I spoke to her more while finding my feet in the game, she suddenly needed to leave – sta♌ting she had to go to someone else's island to sell her turnips as it was her turn in the queue. I made the mistake of asking what on earth she was talking about, and she opened my eyes to a whole new world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
I hadn't a clue that a game about setting up an island could have so much going on behind the scenes. Yet here I was, scrolling on r/acturnips - a co💖mmunity made subreddit where players share their turnip prices, allowing others to visit and sell their own at extortionate prices for major profit. I was messaging strangers hoping to make some serious bank off of my turnips. As I waited for my turn to visit these islands I would often chat with the Island owners, and while I typically despised small talk, being alone during lockdown had actually made me miss it.
As I delved further into the Animal Crossing: Newꦉ Horizons rabbit hole, I found a whole neꦡw side to the game. Across the globe, entire communities were being formed around every facet of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
For starters, you have online marketplaces like Nookazon, a whole website dedicated entirely to buying, selling and trading items within the game. Strangers wo๊uld join voice calls with one another to discuss visiting each other's islands to exchange gifts in the website's dedicated Discord server.
People would place c🍒a𝔉ll outs on social media as they hunted for a specific item or recipe and others would come to their aid, willing to hand over the goods. Everyone was in this together – players wanted to help how they could, and we all just wanted to have a nice time during a rough situation.
It was clear that this game, which was seemingly about quietly rebuilding an is🥀land, actually wasn't about that at all. People spent hours in voice calls with complete strangers keeping them comꦑpany and making friends with other players from opposite ends of the globe. Everyone missed human connection, and Animal Crossing provided that.
Animal Crossing: New Hori🦩zons fostered a community😼 that provided people with relief at a time where everyone was isolated. Players hosted events like game nights or dress up parties on their islands, giving those who felt isolated an escape, even if only for a short while. Meeting people through games is by no means a new concept, but Animal Crossing: New Horizons tapped into that with a kindliness like no other game I've experienced before. The world came together over turnips, but stayed together for a sense of belonging and connection which was missing from the planet during the pandemic.
While the game may not be as popular as it once was, the community has by no means disappeared. People cꦬontinue to post daily in different subreddits, Discord servers. and on social media about the game. That drive to help others, to make friends, continues. Even today, if you need an island to sell your turnips at a high price, you're sure to find one.
Nintendo hit the nail on the head with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While some elements were initially missing (don't get me started on the Brewster debate), the series' sunniest entry resonated with so many people in its peak. Given its heartwarming charm and unique place in time, it's hard to imagine what a potential follow-up may look like on the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2. I'm still eagerly awaiting to see what Nintendo gives us next – and with the upcoming console'sꦚ all-new GameChat feature being the perfect way for players to meet and chat with new and old friends alike, I'm on the edge of my seat.
There's no Animal Crossing in sight (just yet), but here are all the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 launch games confirmed
]]>In a new excerpt on taken from Boss Fight Books' , the gap between the original game's Japanese version and its localized release in the West is explored in depth. "It's standard foꩲr a game to tone down or change cultural references in the localization process," read💃s author Kelsey Lewin's text, "but the original Dōbutsu no Mori is painted especially thick with Japanese elements."
There were so many Japanese elements, in fact, "that even its own Japanese players might not catch all the references."♓ Lewin highlights various examples, including clothes like the Static Shirt and Painter's Shirt which originally referenced traditional Japanese textiles and styles. "These are obscure refere🙈nces," continues Lewin, "so it makes sense that they were localized out completely." Localizing was a big task, however.
"I'll never forget [producer Takashi Tezuka] coming to us and saying, 'If we're goinꦏg to [sell the game outside of Japan], you guys have to change everything,' because they had designed it so specifically for the Japanese market,'" said Leslie Swan, former localization department head at Nintendo, in an interview for Lewin's book. She then recounts an older 2014 in which director Katusya Eguchi spoke.
"When we first started working on Anim✅al Crossing for N64, we really🎶 [...] weren't even thinking about having it localized […] for an international market," stated Eguchi. As Lewin explains, "It wasn't just a matter of changing the names of clothing. Animal Crossing is so saturated with Japanese culture - everything from holidays to little jokes in the dialogue - that translating the text would hardly scratch the surface of the work to be done."
She describes it as "the most daunting localization project that Nintendo of America had ever taken on" - but it seems to have been well worth it. From the tedious translating to changing around details that Western fans might not get like the swap from Animal Crossing's shrine in Japan to the wishing well in the West, I'd say that Nintendo's work has paid off. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:New Horizons' sales alone prove as much, and as a longtime faওn myself, I a﷽m incredibly grateful.

]]>Anime Life Sim isn't at all what it soꦕunds like. It's not an anime-themed game featuring some fan-favorite protagonists or settings, but rather a series of ideas drawn substantially from Animal Crossing - from the gameplay detailed on its page to the colorful visuals, Anime Life Sim screams New Horizons through and through. It 𒁏features no mention of Nintendo's own title, however.
"Create your perfect anime life in this charming social simulation," reads the eerily similar project's description. "Build your dream home, befriend quirky animal neighbors, and live out endless adventures in a vibrant world inspired by your favorite life sims." In other wordౠs, it plays like New Horizons as much as it looks like it - it's all about bug catching, building, crafting, collecting, fishing, and befriending animal-esque villagers.
Anime Life Sim also isn't the first controversial title to come from developer and publisher Maksym Vysochanskyy, who trades under the alias "IndieGames3000." Just two months ago, eagle-eyed Monster Hunter fans spotted a suspicious game on the PlayStation Store dubbed "Monster Hunters." A on Reddit highlights the now-removed Monster Hunters and its clear similarities to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Capcom's legitimate, long-standing series.
from
Upon browsing through Vysochanskyy's library of releases on , i💟t becomes obvious thatꦇ pretty much every single game operating under his name is a near-identical clone of another title.
It's all questionable, to say the least. Anime Life Sim likely won't come to fruition and launch in 2026 as it's supposedly meant to, however, judging by the fate of Monster Hunters. After all, it's not as though Nintendo takes such situations lightly. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Palworld and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:lawsuit filed against its developer Pocketpair for infringing "multiple patent rights" prove🌠 as🐷 much - and Palworld is arguably much tamer in comparison when considering similarities.

]]>After announcing the new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo clarified that there would be differences between the paid version and its free predecessor. Now that the game is rolling out, players are experiencing some of these differences firsthand - and not 🔯all are impressed. There aren't any pesky microtransactions to worry about anymore, 🐓which my own wallet is content with, but there's also no way to play with friends now.
As players discuss in a recent thread on the matter, things are feeling pretty lonely in the new Pocket Camp. "I get sad when I see the empty spaces the other players used to hang out in," writes one fan. "I wish there was still 🥀an option to visit their campsites and vans, at least." Another describes how even though they're happy to decorate, they're "just alone with all the cool stuff I've always wanted to brag about."
from
"I'm feeling both overwhelmed and underwhelmed all at the same time," admits a player - and as a fan myself, I personally understand where they're coming from. When it comes to games like those within the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing series, getting to visit your friends and share designs makes up a go🥀od chunk of the fun. One suggestion amid t🌼he replies speaks to me most: "I wish we could 'invite' our friends if we had their QR code to our campsite… I want some people to hang out with."
It's not all doom and gloom, however. For just "10 bucks" while Pocket Camp is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:half off until January 31, as a player puts it, you get "everything with no microtransactions." Aside from the loss of online functionality, it's also almost entirely the same game - and if you're like me and have spent an embarrassing amount of money on the old app, everything you bought via leaf tickets carries over into the new v🤪ersion.

]]>It's a tough time to be an Animal Crossing stan - we're not getting any more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:New Horizons updates, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pocket Camp is ending later next month. While the light at the end of the tunnel should be Nintendo's new app, the paid follow-up to Pocket Camp, it's difficult to feel excited after learning its price. As Nintendo reveals in its recent on the upcoming game, it's apparently s🤪et to cost a whopping $20 - with "no discount" for longtime players.
Thankfully, however, there is still an early bird-esque discount for those purchasing the app before January 31, 2025. For anyone snagging the game early, the price will be halved to $9.99 - a far more reasonable ask for a mobile release, in m💯y opinion. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete arrives on December 3 and will at least not have any sneaky "additional in-game item purchases" - a feature I'm personally tired of in the old app.
If you're like me and have also spent a good chunk on the old game and its in-app purchases, though, fret not. Nintendo says that you can keep your save data from the OG, along with any "furniture, clothing, an📖d Bells you've collected as well as Friendship Levels with animals," although certain things like Leaf Tickets can't be transferred. It's also important to note that if you purchase the new Pocket Camp on one mobile device, it won't carry over to another of a different operating system.

]]>Akrew's debut life sim started as a Kickstarter project, and boy has it blossomed into so much more since then. Upon hopping into the demo, I'm instantly reminded of games like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing. From the little chibi-style characters to the relaxing vibes akin to those you'll find within 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo's beloved sim series, Galactic Getaway undeniably draws inspiration from Animal Crossing for its visuals - and al🐭so much of its gameplay.
The first thing I did in-game was gather plants, befriend animals, and collect materials from nodes like rocks. I felt like I was back in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:New Horizons, plucking the weeds off of my island and shaking trees. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley came to mind, too, especially after I received seeds to plant and farm. While the features feel familiar, especially as 🦹I've played my fair share of sims, the game isn't quite like any 𒀰other title alone - it's a mashup of many.
Sure, there's the building, crafting, decorating, fishing, and gathering typical of most farming games, but there are other elements to Galactic Getaway sprinkled in that almost make me forget its aꦡdvertised identity as a life sim. The minigames are just one example of something that should feel out of place, but they somehow fit seamlessly in between all of the collecting and tending. Think Mario Party - if its minigames existed within Animal Crossing instead.
You can engage in space races, zoom around in go-karts, compete in laser tag games, solve puzzles, and more. Everything is as colorful and vibrant as it is in Mario Party, too, which made me feel like a kid playing with my family after school on the Wii all over again. The Nintendo-esque mood Galactic Getaway manages to put me in doesn't end with Animal Crossing or Mario Party, though - there's even a bit of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon flair in there.
While animals are your villagers in Animal Crossing, they're companions that you can collect in Galactic Getaway. When you approach one, a familiar line straight from Pokemon pops up letting you know that a "wild" creature "appears." From there, you can befriend it by feeding it and 💞telling it silly jokes. It's a cute twist on Pokemon's iconic monster-collecting mechanics, and it's just the cherry on top of the genuinely entertaining, wholesome cake that Akrew's game is.
The best part of all of this, however, is the fact that it's enjoyable in multiplayer with up to 30 friends - and yes, you read that number right. Think of all the chaotic, cozy fun you could have with your pals, and give the demo a go on . I personally can't wait to experience the full game when it finally releases later down the line, but for now, I'd recommend trying Galactic Getaway while 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Valve's seasonal Steam Next Fest is ꦅstill kicking.
Check out these other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming indie games for even more to look forward to.
]]>It's quite a time for Animal Crossing stans - we're not getting any more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:New Horizons updates, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pocket Camp is ending this fall. While there is indeed another mobile game coming soon after support for Nintendo's free-to-play gem endsඣ, it won't be the same. The new app will be entirely offline and fans won't have to pay for in-game purchases with real money anymore - but that doesn't mean that Pocket Camp is done with microtransactions just yet.
In an , Nintendo reveals a "sneak peek" of paid items coming to Pocket Camp - and clarifies that it "will continue distributౠing new events and items until service ends." Any purchases made will carry over to Pocket Camp's successor alongside a s💞ave data transfer, but that doesn't mean that the community is happy. Some fans call Nintendo "greedy," saying the company wants players "to buy tickets and new cookies right up to the last minute."
Here's a little sneak peek at some of the items coming in September. We also have some rough sketches of ite꧂ms we're planning for October-November for you to꧅ check out. We will continue distributing new events and items until service ends. pic.twitter.com/jnsvJlVDdA
Others ex💦press how the preview of new Pocket Camp items is "bittersweet." A Reddit highlighting such voices showcases as much: "This is everything I’ve wanted for so long but not knowing what the new game will be like definitely leaves me unsure." Another fan states that their "excitement is slightly dampened" due to Pocket Camp's coming end.🍸 "I don't even know what the best use of my time and money is without info on the future of the game."
With just a few months left before Nintendo closes the doors on Pocket Camp, there are three themed item drops and events to look out for - in September, October, and finally, November. I personally feel down about the entire situation myself, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not going to be hoarding every item possible be💛fore service for the app ends. Those of us spending our hard-earned money can only hope th♑at it'll all carry over.

]]>Suppose you're like me and have poured a ridiculous amount of money and time into Pocket Camp, today marks a bittersweet revelation - the app we've been dedicated to since 2017 will soon be no more. According to Nintendo, the cozy mobile game is set to go offline this fall on November 29. "After service ends, you will no longer be able to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp," reꦆads the developer's .
There's a light at the end of the ꦇtunnel, though - Nintendo also says it's "currently developing a paid version of the app to which you will be able to transfer your save data." This new app, "paid" without any pesky microtransactions, "will be released during the same period as the end of service for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp." It won't be everything that Pocket Camp was, though - "some features" are missing.
We h🉐ave an important announcement for everyone playing the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app. Please see the following page for details as well.//t.co/JGacPgXFyo pic.twitter.com/RHZt5u7SPU
"Since this app will not require a continuous online connection," Nintendo explains, "some features that require that connection, e.g. Market Boxes, gifts, and visiting other players' campsites will not be available." Leaf Tickets won't be transferred either, so players should make sure to redeem theirs before Pocket Camp shuts down. As for the game's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:subscription service, refunds will not be issued.
This isn't Nintendo's first rodeo when it comes to shutting mobile apps down - Miitomo, Dr. Mario World, Dragalia Lost, and Mario Kart Tour all come to mind. While I'm happy to see the studio shift away from microtransactions, especially as free-to-play gacha games are on the rise with upcoming Animal Crossing-esque titles like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Floatopia, I'm sad to learn about Pocket Camp - although my wallet p✤robably 💙isn't.

]]>Recently, it feels as though gacha has become the bane of my existence - every wholesome game with vibrant visuals, like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp or 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Genshin Impact, is plagued by "optional" in-app purchases. With my own lack of self-control, optional items - whether new char📖acters or cosmetics - never truly feel all that optional. When I saw Floatopia during last night's showcase, I felt hopeful - but that hope was quickly👍 shot down.
As I spotted on Floatopia's offi﷽cial while registering my interest in the sim, the game includes a currency dubbed "Gacha Tickets" which is used for "standard and pick-up gacha." While I have no idea what either of those is just yet, I sure know what gacha means - and other fans have picked up on this, too. A new Reddit highlights thoughts similar to my own: "This is super cute! But I wish it wasn't a gacha."
from
One comment reads: ▨"Hate gacha. Hate gambling." Another words the problem with gacha, especially within the wholesome gaming community, perfectly: "I don't think gambling has a place in co🦄zy gaming … This is just really slimy behavior and incredibly concerning to see in the cozy community." As sad as I am to say it, I agree - although I doubt I'll be able to stay away from Floatopia's cutesy charm personally.
Others are open about the fact that they're not going to engage with the game, though: "Looks cute, but I'm not playing a gach🧸a game." Elsewhere, someone echoes that same sentiment - "I was soooooo excited for this but I refuse to play it if it's gacha." There's no telling yet what direction NetEase Games will take in the end, though - after all, Floatopia doesn't even have a solid release date. Until then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for minimal optional purchases.
Need a quick cozy fix? Here are 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Stardew Valley to kick back and unwind with.
]]>If you played the original Animal Crossing, you probably remember that the game features an array of collectable NES consoles, each of which lets you play a different early generation NES game, like Balloon Fight o🐟r Super Mario Bros. That's no mystery - that comes from the standalone NES console that has no game. If you try to interact with it, a tﷺext box simply says "I want to play my NES, but I don't have any software."
Modders that this console is actually capable of loading a ROM file from a GameCube memory card, if you provide it in the proper format. So, in theory, you could load up Battletoads or Mega Man and play them in Animal Crossing if you put enough effort in. But surely there's n⛎o way Nintendo developed and implemented a feature like this only for only hackers to be able to make use of it. Right?
Well, the GameCube version of Animal Crossing that English-speaking൲ fans are most likely familiar with is essentially an enhanced version of the 2001 N64 original, which was released only in Japan. The N64 version also featured this standalone console, and it also had the seemingly unused ability to load from a memory card - in this case, the N64 controller pak.
fell down a weird lost media rabbit hole?the original N64 version of Animal Crossing (Dōbut🍷su no Mori) had 7 famicom games, but an 8th, Ice Climber, seems to have been released as a giveaway from Nintendo Dream magazine?distributed as a controller pak with a unique sticker pic.twitter.com🧸/EqlHOz5ha3
It turns out that the N64 version of this console emulator did get one official use - but it's such an obscure one that it's effectively lost to history. In 2001, the Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream hosted a giveaway offering 30 controller paks loaded with Ice Cliꦗmber for use with the Animal Crossing emulator. According to a translation from the , these controller paks also contained a letter from producer Takashi Tezuka.
Scan꧅s of that issue of Nintendo Dream are out there, but nobody seems able to determine the final fate of those 30 controller paks. One from a curious fan (t♋hanks, ) might just be the most attention this whole thing has ever gotten, but that "weird lost media rabbit hole" has hit a dead-end - as did another attempt to dig in shown in a .
At this point, we don't even know fꦦor sure that these 30 Ice Climber-loaded controller paks were ever distributed. Assuming they were, and their owners hung onto them for all these years, there's no guarantee the aging batteries in these things will have manaܫged to preserve the original data. While there's no shortage of ways to play Ice Climber these days, the letter from Tezuka and the whole package would make this an interesting curiosity - but alas, it seems this might be a case of true-blue lost media.
Animal Crossing is one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best GameCube games of all time, and it lets you play some of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best NES games ever made. What could be better than this?
]]>Camp Spirit, then, is a game that makes the most of the lessons the studio learned to get things right from the start. Of course, a 30 minute demo isn't enough time to truly get a feel for something like this. As with Animal Crossing, this is a game that slowly u🌳nfolds itself to you over the course of days, weeks, and months, giving you a gentle drip of new things to do as things change and new cont✤ent unlocks in real time.
But that time was just enough for me t🦄o start enjoying delightful little new gameplay additions, like a power washing puffer fish that cleans up grimy bits Mario Sunshine-style, and a hint system that'll keep you from searching endlessly for the hidden items you need to progress. The devs say they've focused in on fewer of the game&apos🔯;s central ghost bears in order to give each of the characters more time to grow in the story, and that's a terrific hook for the long haul.
The big question mark hanging over the game now is the fac🔜t that it's a Netflix exclusive, meaning that you&ap꧋os;ll need to maintain a subscription to the streaming giant in order to play, and you'll only be able to get the game on mobile. The game's simple actions work great on a touch screen, and it's a wonderful freebie if you're already a Netflix subscriber - but if you prefer single purchase games on a more traditional gaming device, you're currently out of luck.
With that said, Camp Spirit looks to keep all the endearing charm that made the first Cozy Grove a hit, and the devs are clearly working t🌳o put the lessons they learned on the previous game to work here. If you want t𝐆o try it out for yourself, you don't have long to wait - Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit hits iOS and Android via Netflix on June 25.

]]>Streamer - who is known for their Animal Crossing content - livestreamed their reaction to yesterday's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Direct showcase. In the clip, that was shared by the streamer to Twitter, Wilbo reacts to the last of the announcements from the broadcast before the screen fades to black and shows Animal Crossing: New Horizon villager J♍udy floating through space be🍒fore displaying the name of the game.
It then gets even better, as shortly after this, Wilbo's feed showed footage of the music box item from the game playing a peaceful rendition of Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. This is when Animal Crossing's residential music✱ian K.K Slider appears on screen performing a cover of the song, which is really being performed by K.K Slider cover artist Clay K Slider.
I pranked my livestrea𝄹m chat at the end of the Nintendo Direct lol pic.twitte🐲r.com/tO7tR4XNRY
In hindsight, it's very obvious from Wilbo's reaction that this is a joke. Almost immediately after the edited footage plays, you can see the YouTuber struggle to hold it together as the chat seemingly takes the bait at first. It doesꦍn't take long for everyone to catch on though and now we can all laugh about it. Except no, we can't, because the reality is we don't have anything new coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons which is a very difficult thing to accept.ꦯ
All jokes aside, this prank was pulled off brilliantly by Wilbo's World, and I would've definitely fallen for it if I was watching the broadcast live. This is especially painful as shortly before the Nintendo Direct was scheduled to happen, several Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans got their hopes up for some kind of announcement when it was spotted that th𝓡e island getaway game had received a random maintenance update just hours before. A🌞s we know now though, this really didn't mean anything more than routine maintenance.
It's not all bad news though, we did find out about the new Fantasy Life game that could fill the Animal Crossing: New Horizons-shaped void in our lives.
]]>As revealed by NinStatusBot on Twitter (a bot that shares updates on Nintendo's servers), Animal Crossing: New Horizons received maintenance on "certain network services" just before 1AM UTC until 2AM UTC today. Although this is probably just a routine procedure for the game and Nintendo, the fact it's happened on the sa𒀰me day as a Nintendo Direct has got fans excited that some kind of announcement could happen later today.
In case you missed it, Nintendo is hosting a Nintendo Direct today (February 8) at 2PM PST / 5PM EST / 10PM GMT. The only game I care ab🅺out right now is the imaginary ๊Animal Crossing announcement at the Nintendo Direct tomorrow😌✨
As much as we all want more reasons to revisit our islands, it's important to remember that Nintendo did say in 2021 that its massive 2.0 update was its 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"last free major content update." To be fair, it did introduce a number of fan-requested feature♏s such as finally bringing back Brewster and The Roost, Kapp'n and his boat rides, and a number of other exciting new additionᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs.
In terms of what Nintendo said, you can pick this apart in many ways. It either means we're not getting any more "major" updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons so we could still be treated to the odd small update here and there, it could also mean we're not getting any more "free" content, so th♏e next batch of DLC will be paid for, or it could just mean we're not getting anything new for thꦑe game ever again - but let's just pretend that's not an option.
It's not just Animal Crossing fans who have got their hopes firmly up for tonight's Nintendo Direct. As always, fans of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong are desperately hoping that the game gets a mention during today's showcase, despite there being absolutely no evidence to back it up. Zelda fans have also got themselves hyped up for more 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom꧋ news, which is pretty much a given at this point considering the game is set to release in just a few months' time on May 12.
While we wait for the showcase, find out what our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Direct predictions are.
]]>As spotted in the , the deep sea creature known as a Venus' Flower Basket - which is based on the real-life sea sponge - just got even more real after one player discovered a couple of tiny shrimp living inside of it. Something that isn&ap🐷os;t immediately obvious when caught or displayed in the museum.
from
This mirrors the real Venus' Flower Basket, which is often used as a home for shrimp couples. Located deep in the ocean, shrimp will often swim into the sea spon🏅ge as babies eventually grow too big to get back out again. Making it a first home and retirement home all in one. Which kind of makes this Animal Crossing: New Horizons discovery a little bittersweet.
Similar to the Mantis Shrimp found in Animal Crossing, which can cause a crack in its glass enclosure due to the real-life creature's powerful p🅠unch, this secret detail can't really be seen unless you use the in-game Nook Phone camera to really zoom in on the animal in its habitat.
If you're planning to grab one of these guys on your island, the good news is that they're in season - at least in the Northern Hemisphere. Like all the other deep sea creatures in the game, you'll need to pick up a wet suit from Nook's Cranny and dive into the ocean surrounding your island. You'll be able to pick up Venus' Flower Basket from October to February (NH) and April to August in t𓂃he Southern Hemisphere.
Want to know what else can be found in the sea? Take a look at our Animal Crossing: New Horizons fish guide.
]]>On November 15, Nintendo quietly rolled out🗹 a series of updates for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (), ARMS (), Splatoon 2 (), and Super Mario Maker 2 (). Each of t🀅he patch notes included a vague description of the update which mostly relates to the game's stability and online connectivity.
For each of the games, the main patch note is: "Adjustments have been made to make the game more comfortable to play." How exactly Nintendo has gone about mak༒ing each of these games more comfortable to play is still a mystery. As always though, Nintendo dataminer @ is on hand to take a deeper look at the upda🌞tes and shed light on what they change in the game.
Talking about all four of the games in question, OatmealDome said: "All these games just got updates with the equivalent of 'stability' in the patch notes," the tweet continues, "th♒is is probably a patch to fix a major security bug in a common code component." Basically, it's just something Nintendo has fixed behind the scenes and probably won't affeꦑct players and how they play very much.
[Splatoon 2 / ARMS / Super Mario 𒉰Maker 2 / Animal Crossing: New Horizons]All these games just got updates with the equivalent of “stability” in the patch notes. This is probably a patch to fix a major security bug in a common code component.I’ll post info when available.
This has got to be disappointing news for Animal Crossing fans in particular. This is the first update Nintendo ha💜s rolled out to its island getaway game in nine months and it hasn't done anything to make the game more interestin✤g to play. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that Nintendo ever will make any major changes to New Horizons again.
Back in November 2021, we got the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update which brought several new and exciting features to the game. Sadly, this was the last free major content update for Animal Crossing thꦿat we'll be getting, according to Nintendo.
If you're missing island life, take a look at our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:games like Animal Crossing list to help fill that void New Horizons left.

Less like Animal Crossing in mechanics, but very like it in vibe. This delightful little indꦗie is about exploring the lush landscape of Hawk Peak Provincial Park. There is no pressure, no time limit, just one little birdꦇ making friends, going for a swim, and stretching his wings to soar between cliffs.
It'll give you the same warm fuzzy feelin꧙gs you get from An𒊎imal Crossing at its best and demand very little from you in terms of time or difficulty. Short and sweet, it's the perfect way to kill a few hours when the world outside is being particularly crazy.
Developer: Bitten Toast Games

Just as you need bells, getting yourself a healthy supply of coins to work on the town is a must.
You'll begin filling up that coin purse by exploring caves for treasure, completing quests, and running your own shop to sell everything you find around the w𓂃orld. As the town begins to expand, more residents will move in and unlock more items and quests. With farming, fishing, cooking, crafting, and animals to raise, there’s no shortage of ways to pass each day.

What if Animal Crossing: New Horizons was set in Australia? If you ever wanted to find out the answer to that question, then Dinkum is for you. Just like in Animal Crossing, you'll have to build a town from scratch, completing quests and gathering enough currency to attract more residents and unlock buildings such as a fanc🍰y new museum.
A lot of the mechanics of Dinkum come straight from Animal Crossing. You have to gather and craft to make tools and furniture, save coins to progress, collect materials to donate to the museum, and ✅more. However, the Outback is much more dangerous than Tom Nook's real estate market. While you do all your daily tasks, watch out for ⛄any crocodiles roaming the plains.
Developer: Maxis
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, PS4
The Sims and Animal Crossing, surprisingly, have a lot in common. If you enjoyed designing in the Happy Home Paradise DLC, creating homes in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Sims 4 takes that to the next level with some very satisfying and intuitive home-building tools. Instead of hav🅺ing neighbors who are elephants with teapot-shaped heads,♒ you have human-like sims. You're not in debt to start off with, but you can be if you don't send your sim to work and avoid using the classic money cheat (we all do it); it's entirely up to you.
Be warned, though, if you don't pay your bills, your power and water will eventually get shut off.🔯 If you think about it, Tom Nook is goꦆod, really. With a vast library of expansions available to add more content to your sim worlds, there's no end to the number of activities you can get up to. Some are even quite similar, such as collecting bugs, going fishing, and finding collectibles around the towns.
Developer: Stairway Games
Platform(s): PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5
Coral Island offers up another slice of island life, only here you're running your very own farm. With crops to tend and animals to care for, you can also help to try and bring life back to the nearby town and form bonds with the local residents. Just like Animal Crossing, you can also choose your own outfits and customize your character so youﷺ can express 🐲yourself in style.
And not unlike the way your island has a ranking and a museum to add to in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can also help increase the town's rank in Coral Island by expanding the local museum and lending a hand to restore heritage sites. Oh, and you can even go diving in the coral reef just as you can go d🐓iving in the sea as part of Tom Nook's getaway package (you won't meet a wise otter named Pascal, though). With plenty of freedom, you can decide how you want to spend your time.
Developer: Gameloft
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch
If you're looking for something a lot like Animal Crossing, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Disney Dreamlight Valley is𒁏 just the ticket - Gameloft's adventure life sim hybrid shares a lot of similar🍨ities with the world of Animal Crossing, from its features to its playstyle. When you drift off to sleep, you find yourself in a magical Valley that has seen better days thanks to a force known as the Forgetting.
As you set out to help restore the valley and get to the heart of some mysterious occurrences, you start out with your very own little home, just like you do in Animal Crossing. You also live alongside and help villagers who are characters plucked from beloved Disney and Pixar adventures. With featur💟es such as fishing, mining, cooking, and crafting, man🦹y of its activities will feel familiar to Animal Crossing fans, and Dreamlight Duties see you complete goals not unlike the Nook Miles program in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Developer: ConcernedApe
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, PS4, Ninte𒊎ndo Switch, iOS and Android
Ditching your old life as an office drone, y⛄ou move into Pelican ꦬtown and begin to run a farm you inherited. In Animal Crossing, visiting your favorite residents and lending them a hand by fulfilling favors or giving them gifts helps you bond with them. From Goldie to Bluebear and Tia, the town would be nothing without the animals you meet.
The residents of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stardew Valley are also at the heart of its charm, and forming friendships or even romantic relationships with the tow⭕nsfolk is one of the most relatable and heart-warming aspects. Lots of activities a🐭re also very reminiscent of what you get up to in Animal Crossing, such as fishing, mining, digging, and working to save up coins in order to improve your farm and house. You can also decorate your home, and while there is combat involved in the caves, you still get to decide how you want to spend your day.
Developer: Glumberland
Platform(s): PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch
Ooblet🅺s is what yo🍷u would get if you let Animal Crossing and Pokemon breed. This creature-collecting adventure puts you in the world of Oob and lets you slowly uncover the town and its people. You'll also have to interact with the town's folk, work to restore areas, and save enough to upgrade your house and Ooblet farm.
The cr🌸eatures themselves - the titular Ooblets - are wonderfully quirky🦹, and you'll be able to compete in dance battles to level them up and interact with the other Ooblet keepers. It's gentle, beautifully bizarre, and just up any Animal Crossing fan's street.
Developer: Spry Fox
Platform(s): PC, PS4, Xbox One, Mac, Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcad🍨🔴e
If you're looking for games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons that channel many of the game's elements, then you need to check out Cozy Grove. It's a game that lets you play as a Spirit Scout, with the aim of helping the spirits of Cozy Grove. You'll run errands, cook, fi💦sh, make friends, tend to animals, and more.
And just like Animal Crossing, there's only so much you can do each day, which makes it the perfect game to add to your daily routine. However, we will admit that there isn't as much to get done each day as there is in Animal Crossing, so keep that in mind. Still, it🦄's𒐪 super adorable and worth your attention.
Developer: Sunblink
Platform(s): iOS, PC, Nintendo Switch
If you're looking for more games like Animal Crossing, you can't come much closer than Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Think New Horizons, but makeﷺ it Sanrio, where you can make♚ your own adorable custom character and set out to explore and restore an island.

With that in mind, we've been working across two islands to try and bring you the most complete Animal Croꦐssing: New Horizons bug guide to date, divided up by hemisphere (north and south).
Skip to the right section for you below:
Animal Crossing New Horizons Northern Hemisphere bugs
Animal Crossing New Horizons Southern Hemisphere bugs
If you're wondering how exactly to catch bugs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, all you'll need is a net and good timing / aim. Just have your net out, and press A to swing it when you're near a bug. Almost all bugs will be visibly f♉luttering or scuttling around your island, although some like the bagworm an🏅d spider will only appear when you shake a tree, descending from the boughs on a string.
It's worth nothing that some are ꦯskittish and may require you to approach carefully. You can do tౠhis by holding A down to ready your net and then creep towards the bug, only releasing A when you're in capture range.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons divides the habits of its bugs depending on whether❀ you're North or South of the Equator. We'll🍰 cover the North first, but you can always just skip down to find the South beneath it.

As we mentioned, what fish you can catch varies across the time of day, year and locations. When we first started this guide we worked across two Animal Crossing islands to discover all the fish available across the north and south hemispheres to speed up the year'﷽s discoveries. While that helped work all this out, you'll still need to keep fishing for most of a whole year if you want to find everything you can. So good luck and happy reels♐, here's how to catch every Animal Crossing New Horizons fish is the following locales:
If you're new to the series and are wondering how to fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, what you need to do is get a fishing rod, and then aim to drop your hook ahead of w💙here the fish is facing. Next, wait u🌃ntil the fish spots it – they will nose the hook, but hold off until it pulls the float under the water with a satisfying plop. Then press A immediately to reel it in.
Below you'll find the Northern Hemis𝓰phere fish, but you can skip straight to the Southern Hemisphere using this quick link:

For everything you need to know, here's our constantly updated Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide.
Getting star fragments ꦺin New Horizons requires you to go through a few steps - they probably won't be accessible right from the beginning, and you'll need to speak with some particular NPCs and jump through a couple of hoops before🅠 you can start properly storing them.
If you're new to the Animal Crossing series as 🧔a whole, you may not realise the꧋ importance of Celeste. She's the sister of Blathers, the owl director of the museum, and usually, she's the one who's behind the observatory in previous games. It's not clear whether there is an observatory in New Horizons yet, but Celeste does play an important role in the game.
Quite a ways into the gam𒆙e (day 20 for me, which also happened to lie on a full moon), Celeste will appear on your island after sunset. You'll want to speak to her. She'll explain that wishing upon a falling star can bring you good fortune, which is a bit of a clue about how you'll find star fragments.
However, more importantly she'll give you the recipe for the magic wand then and there. In order to make it though✅, you'll need three star fragments and one large star fragment.
In order to get star fragments, you're going to need to keep you🅷r eyes - and ears - peeled for shooting stars. Thankfully, like the floating balloons, they do make a subtle noise that you can hear as you're meandering 🌞around your island in daily life. It's a gentle tinkling, almost inaudible at first, but as soon as you hear it, push up on the right stick and press A to wish on the star.
You'll know you've accomplished it because your character will close th💞eir eyes and hold their hands together, and the star🌜 in the sky will glow.
Usually, there are multiple shooting stars in a row, so✅ you can wish on multiple stars in one go just by hitting A repeatedly.
Wishing on a star is cute and all, but what's the point. Well, for th♎at you'll have to wait until the next day. The morning after you wish o🎃n a star or three, you'll need to take a walk along the beach looking for large yellow rocks where the water meets the sand. These are star fragments, and you'll get one per wish by the looks of things. It's still not clear how to get large star fragments though, but it seems they are also linked to wishing on a star.
Hopefully🍷 tho🌟ugh, you have better luck than I do and can make your star wand straight away.
However, there are othe☂r wand recipes available in-game. I discovered a bamboo wand hidden in 🌞a balloon present much earlier in the game, so hopefully you do too, as it only needs three star fragments to make.
If you want to get as many wishes in as you can, you'll want to keep your ears open for news of an Animal Crossing: ꧑New Horizons meteor shower. Isabelle will let you know in the morning briefing that there's going to be shooting stars that evening. Residents may also mention a meteor shower to you too.
Large star fragments and pieces of zodiac - which correlate to the current active zodiac sign - will drop at random with regular star fragments when yo♔u wish on a star. So make sure you wish on as many as you can.
As discovered by a fan and shared in the , Nintendo has set a limit on the number of years Nintendo Switch users can play 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
After assumingly setting the date of the console to 38 years in the 🌸future, the player below attempted to boot up the island getaway game only to see a message which read: "Please close the game from the home menu and restart 𓄧after setting a date between 1/1/2000 - 31/12/2060."
from
If you do happen to still be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons in 2061, don’t panic. You can always just rewind time on the console and get another 60 yea🍒rs worth of island fun from the game.
It’s also extremely likely that we would have all moved on by then though, playing with a new Nintendo console several generations in the future. If anythingꦏ, it could mean we should expect at least one new Animal Crossing game at some point in the next three four decades, so look forward to that.
Although you’ll still be able to visit your island for another 38 years, Nintendo has officially stopped rolling out free new content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as revealed during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing Direct last October.ꦗ We got a tonne of new features in the game including The Roost cafe, Kapp’n boat tours, Harv’s Island, and more. But Nintendo says this will🎐 be the "last free major content update" for the game.
In other Animal Crossing: New Horizons news, Nintendo has revealed it is releasing a real-life critterpedia. The encyclopedia was designed to educate kids about the world’s ecosyst🌠em, this includes all of the fish, bugs, and sea creatures you can catch in New Horizons. Unfortunately, it looks like the book and accompanying DVD won’t be released outside of Japan.
Looking for ways to keep busy on your island for the next 38 years? Find out everything you should be doing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
]]>As reported by , an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons-inspired encyclopedia is due to be released by Nintendo in July of this year. The physical book will be accompanied by a 57-minute lo༺ng DVD th⛎at will feature info on all of the real-life creature counterparts found in the game - that's a total of 235 animals if you weren't sure.
Nintend🀅o’s aim with the product is to educate children about the world’s ecology. If you’re familiar with the wildlife found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll already be well aware of the kind of creatures we can expect to see in the book, from sharks, crustaceans, butterflies, anꦫd more.
Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on whether this encyclopedia will be getting translated into any other languages, including English. So for now we’ll just have to keep⭕ our fingers crossed that it eventually makes its way to our shores.
One Animal Crossing book that did recently release overseas though is the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons manga. Titled the Deserted Island Diaries, the first issue of this four-part manga series was released back in December 2021 and follows the story of four human characters, who just like players of the game, make t🌠he move to a desert island via the Nook Inc. G🧔etaway Package.
This also wouldn’t be the first time Animal Crossing: New Horizons helped to teach little ones about the critters that inhabit our planet. In fact, one parent shared a post on Reddit at the start of this year praising the game for teaching their child about museums ♔as they weren’t able to visit one in real life due 🍨to the pandemic.
Still trying to fill up your Critterpedia? Take a look at our Animal Crossing: New Horizons fish and our Animal Crossing: New Horizons bugs guides.
]]>So to help you out, here's all the Animal Crossing New Horizons fruit types and how to ge🐓t them.
You will get one natively growing per island, as we've me𝐆ntioned, but here's how to get the rest:
Once you've paid off your initial moving fees for the island - that 5,000 Mile toll from Tom Nook - you'll unlock the ability to spend your Miles on all sorts of things, including Nook Miles Tickets. Purchased from the Nook Stop in Resident Services for 2,000 Miles a pop, they allow you to temporary travel to another randomly generated isla♒nd, which will have the chance of spawning a different fruit type - along with a tonne of other resources of course.
Plus, these islands will always have palm trees on the beach, for nabbing yo🎀urself a coconut or 10. Make sure to plant your 'nuts on the beach when you're back home too, they won't grow anywhere else.
If🀅 you really want to get all the Animal Crossing: New Horizons fruit fast, you'll need to coord🐼inate with your fellow Animal Crossing-playing buddies to do a fruit swap. Or, put out your shout on the internet and see who replies. It can be a wonderful world out there so get travelling.
You can do this via the Airport of course, you'll just🐻 need their Dodo ID, or already be friends on Switch, in order to make the trip.
Animal Crossing: New Hꦕorizons perfect fruit feels like a bit of a myth right now. In New Leaf, you had a high chance of getting a perfect fruit version of your native fruit growing on a single tree. These perfect fruit will retail for 3000-odd bells instead 𒁃of the usual 600, so it was quite the little money maker.
But so far, it seems it's unconfirmed whether you can get perfect fruit in Animal Crossing🍸: New Horizons, but we'll keep you posted if we discoveꦅr, or hear, anything different.
It's worth it though as the all the color variations, or hybrids, you can grow can really add to your island. Both in terms of looks and customisation as much as bragging rights when peopl♚e see what you've got on display. There are alꦓso new breeds that haven't featured in the series before too, so it makes the process even more exciting for players old and new to discover.
Coming up we have all the details for the Animal Cros🔜sing New Horizons flower hybrids for you to unlock. As well as how to create hybrid flowers, and the best planting practices to follow for success, so check it out.
Like with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons fruit, you will have a certain number of flowers native to your island. On mine, for example, I grew pansies, hyacinths and windflowers natively, but had to travel to friends' islands to gather the rest. You can get lucky using 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nook Miles Tickets trips, but I've not had any luck﷽ with that despite all the money I've spent on ♌tickets.
Here's the full list of Animal Crඣossing: New Horizons flowers availablღe:
Just as with previous Animal Crossing games, you can crossbreed your blooms to get hybrid flowers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These provide unique colour variations that♛ can't be bought or found growing naturally. You're basically about to become a flower scientist.
To create flower hybrids in Animal Crossing: New Ho🍌rizons, you'll need to plant your flowers in a checkerboard pattern on your island. This will give them space to cross-pollinate and do some flower breeding, with the hybrid flowers growing in the gaps.
You'll need to make sure your flowers are watered eaౠch day - either by you with your watering can, or the rain. You'll know which flowers have be꧃en watered by their sparkle.
It's worth noting th♛at I stumbled across this amazing piece of knowledge on Reddit, that suggested that if your friends come over and water your flowers for you, the higher the probability of hybrid flowers forming. Take a look:
I&ಞapos;m also finding that if I also water flowers even if it's raining, they also sparkle more, so although it might feel silly, it will help your hybrid production.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:seasonal event officially began on April 10, with Zipper T. Bunny making his appearance across islands everywhere. For some, that m✃eans plenty of eye-rolling and annoyance until the event is over. Some folks of either Zipper or the event in general. Others can't wait to collect eggs, new furniture rওecipes, and check out all the new stuff on offer.
Bunny Day is a spring event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that acts as the equivalent of Easter. Ever since its debut in Animal Crossing: City Folk, it's been hosted by Zipper T. Bunny, the much maligned animal in a bunny suit. As he continues to remind you, you shouldn't keep looking at his back because, well, ther൲e's a zipper there.
Hello! Bunny Day is on a different date each year, so I thought I'd be sure to remind you that it's on Sunday, April 17th this🅠 year. You'll find eggs hidden all around yo🌸ur island starting today—I hope you have fun collecting them! pic.twitter.com/ml58Y5COoH
Bunny Day is technically two weeks long, with a prep week leading up leading up to the actual event. On the Sunday ahead of Bunny Day, Zipper descends on player islands to inform everyone about the event and to offer the Bunny Day🌟 bed recipe. It'll also be in the mail the next day if players fail to speak to Zipper. Then, Z𒁏ipper hops back in for Bunny Day proper, to hand out prizes.
You can start collecting hidden eggs around your island right now in a bid to cash them in later for prizes. You can find Leaf, Earth, Sky, Stone, and Water Eggs during your search across the island, whic🤪h you can swap for event recipes to craft a gaggle of goodies.
Additionally, you can get recipes and items before and on Bunny Day in addition to 💝the bed recipe, like a Bunny Day Basket in exchange for eggs you've collected around the island. Want to go shopping? Check out Nook's Cranny for new items from Timmy and Tommy daily, like a💧 Bunny Day Tree or Bunny Day Candy.
Not your cup of tea? It'll be over soon, don't worry☂. You can collect eggs and recipes all the way up until the event ends on April 17. Or just stay away from the creepy bunny entirely, whatever you prefer.

]]>"I know I'll never forget how much it's made me smile, or how much comfort it's ♋given mౠe over the last few years."
Just like the rest of the community, I 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:still yearn for new content to bring some much-needed variety to my simulated world. But even with the lack of updates, I'm still constantly returning to New Horizons. Throughout most of 2020 and 2021, I started off my morning ritual with a 30-minute visit to my little island. Greeting the villagers who are always so happy to see me helped me begin my day with a smile. When things often felt so bleak in real life, Animal Crossing was a ray of sunshine that surrounded me with a comforting warmth. As circumstances🍌 changed around me, I started popping in for an evening visit in New Horizons instead. These short nighttime sessions allowed me to unꦓwind and settle in for a bit of "me time".
In the♐ early days, I naturally had so much to do and incrementally work towards. Now, in 2022, I've done everything on offer. While new content could change that, I've come to the realization that it's not really why I've continued to reach for Animal Crossing: New Horizons two years after it launched. In all honesty, I don't even do all that much in it anymore.
I may not be playing for hours on end, and there aren't necessarily goals to aim for or features to discover, but that no longer matters all that much to me. My priorities have shifted. There's a value in knowing that every one of my Animal Crossing: New Horizons sessions will play out the same way each and every time – the routine brings me comfort. Circumstances in reality are ever-changing and uncertain; sometimes it's hard not to feel helpless, hopeless even. But when I load up New Horizons everyday, I know exactly just what to expect, and that I can always count on it as a safe space where everything is just okay. The villagers will always be there to welcome me ไin. I can run around without a care, and just take joy in the simplicity of island life for a short spell each day.
I can't recall another game that has featured in my day-to-day life for quite as long, or one that has really helped me quite so much. I know I'm certainly far from alone in this. The release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons made it easier for me to handle particularly tumultuous times, just as it did for so many others during the height of the pandemic. Last year, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:we looked back on how ubiquitous it became as lockdown started in earnest in the UK and US. It transcended into a platform for social connections, celebrations, and even a talk show as p🍌ublic spaces shut down. While it may no longer be as prevalent as it was, the sandy shores of my island continue to have such a presence in my own life, even if it is just for a littl꧃e slice of time.
Two years on, I can't help but reflect on just how special this delightful little virtual paradise is. It's reassuring to know that it's always ꧋there for me to return to when I need it most. I'm sure there will come a time when I eventually step away from island life. But when I do, I know Iꦚ'll never forget how much it's made me smile, or how much comfort it's given me over the last few years.

The models were patched into Animal Crossing: New Horizons by way of a modded Switch.
It'll still be some time before we get to play around with the adorable new starters, as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet aren't due out until late 2022. ]]>According to , the latest patch for Animal Crossing: New Horizons irons out a few minor bugs and issues some players have noticed in both the main game as well as its DLC🍰.
Some of the more major issues include players not being able to progress through Harv’s explanation about Photopia unless certain conditions were met, Luna repeating her Dream Suite explanation multiple times, and an issue which saw island residents wearing a different pattern type to the one displayed in the Able Sisters. None of these issues however have been as widely talked about as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the naked villager glitch, which was patched out a few updates back.

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise 2.0.5 patch notes:
Being just a minor update, no new items or features were added during the 2.0.5 patch. This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise for players though as Nintendo did previously call the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update the island getaway game’s 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"last free major content update."
One game that is still receiving regular updates though is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, which recently got a big visitor update and launched a new subscription service. In this update, the play💮er’s campsite villager count was upped from eight visitors at a time to 16 and introduced new content such as the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp phone widget and in-game Pocket Planner.

Players can head to Nook S🔯hopping and pick him up for just 2,200 bells in honor of Groundhog Day. The only catch is that players must pick him up before February 3 or he’s gone for another year.
Resetti isn’t the only seasonal i✅tem up for grabs at Nook Shopping at the moment either, as players can also pick up the bean-tossing kit 𒀰to celebrate the traditional Japanese holiday Setsubun for 800 bells, as well as the cheer megaphone (1,500 bells) and the football rug (2,000 bells) as part of the 'Big Game Celebration' collection of items.

This is one of the first batch of seasonal goods since the release of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:New Years Eve items, which contained the 2022 celebratory arch as well as the Zodiac tiger figurine. In fact, after the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.04 update launched, dataminers discovered that Nintendo had implemented enough new Zodiac animal figures for players to buy for the next 11 years - wi🐷th a new animal set to join Nook Shopping each New Yea💝r's Eve.
Although this might not be too exciting if you managed to secure the Resetti figure this time last year, this could be many players' first chance of obtaining the sought-after item. If that's still not enough for you to head back to your New Horizons island, you may want to give the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp app a go after it just received a major content update.
Need some island inspiration? Take a look at this Animal Crossing: New Horizons player who made a Gyroid model village on their island.
]]>In a new video from the YouTube account, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp players got to see all the new things coming to their campsites from today. The first 🦩major new addition to the game is the new campsite visitor allowance which has been increased from eight villagers at a time to now sixteen.
Following this reveal, the ma🐷jor update announcement video then goes into detail about the new Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp smart device widget. This wallpaper decoration will change in real-time, depending on what time of day it is, and present players with the date and a small message from the villagers each day. The widget also acts as a shortcut to the mobile game so players can jump into the campsite quicker than ever.
The next thing coming to the app is the Pocket Planner. This in-game diary contains things like in-game events, villagers’ birthdays, and item information. If t💛his sounds like exactly something you want from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - it gets better. Players can also upgrade the Pocket Planner with the Merry Memories Plan - for just $0.99/£0.79, you can purchase new planner designs, and customize it to your liking.
That’s not all though, as players who upgrade the Pocket Planner cꦓan purchase exclusive stickers for the diary as well as link the app to your device’s in-built pedometer to count all of your st♑eps in real life. Subscribers will also get exclusive in-game perks like seasonal event rewards and 20 bonus leaf tickets per month.

]]>As highlighted by , some young children who have spent the last two years mainly indoors are missing out on some elements of the outside world. One parent explained that their child now only associates museums with the Blathers-curated one in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
"My daughter is 7 and hasn't been to a museum in over two years because of the pandemic." The post explained, "today, her math homework had a word problem in which kids voted for which type of museum to visit (art, science, or history). I asked her if she remembered visওiting a museum and she said 'yes, in Animal Crossing.'"
from
Whether this is heartbreaking or heartwarming is up for debate, but the post ends with: "Than⛎ks Blathers. You really annoy me but the kids love your museum." If you’re not familiar, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can unlock a museum on their island and donate island discoveries to it, including fish, insects, fossils, and works of art.
It’s clear that Animal Crossing: New Horizons provided a vital lifeline to many players during the pandemic. It’s nice to know that not only was it used to break the distance between friends and family during a time when we weren’t able to see other people - many players used Animal Crossing: New Horizons players to celebrate birthdays and weddings in-game -🎀 but that it is continuing to help players who aren’t ready to face the outside world fully💟 yet.
The relationship between Animal Crossing and museums works both ways. Last year, the National VideoGame Museum in Sheffield, UK launched an online exhibition titled 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Animal Crossing Diaries The exhibition was made up of letters🌼 and other creative works created by fans which showcased how the ♔game helped its players during the pandemic.

]]>As you can see for yourself via the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons subreddit post just below, the hidden secret in the Graveyard Wallpap🏅er is a ghost. It turns out that this spooky spectre only pops up when you dim the lights in your house, and not only that, but it actually changes positions around the room every time you change the lights.
This is also pretty spooky for another reason: th🦂at's a photorealistic ghost. As commenters have pointed out underneath the original subreddit post, this stands neck-and-neck with the creepy Anatomical Model resembling actual humans instead of Villagers, po🗹sitioning the humanoid characters in Animal Crossing as some sort of abomination.
If you're wondering where to get hold of this Graveyard Wallpaper though, there's a known method through the paid-for Happy Home Paradise DLC. One commenter reveals that if you spend over 20 minutes remodelling Gruff's home in the DLC, you only need return to the home after redesigning it, and you'll be rewarded with the wallpaper, floors, an✱d rugs you used.
This is a pretty nifty method to get hold of whichevꦿer h🐭ouse design items you want for future use. That being said though, there's no such reliable method of obtaining the Graveyard Wallpaper in the base game of New Horizons, so you'll need to keep a keen eye out at Nook's Cranny just in case it pops up for sale.

]]>Published late last month just before Christmas, the has examined the origins of individual pieces of furniture in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons in great detail. Examining over 1,900 items of furniture to deduce thei🐲r real-world origins and inspirations is near-impossible, so this blog post has analyzed some of the more standout pieces of furniture in Nintendo's game.
The first items the blog began analyzing, apparently, were the small and large variety of Cafe Tables on offer in New Horizons. Apparently, according to the blog, these are very clearly inspired by the Eames Tables produced by Herman Miller, and it's also noted that the Public Bench in New Horizons bears a striking re🌃semblance to that of the Eames Tandem Bench.
If you're at all intrigued about where some inspirations for Animal Crossing's household items come from, we'd recommend giving the blog post a read. Itꦉ's a pretty fascinating breakdown of how a seemingly-unrelated discipline can intersect with video games, as the blog manages to pair the works of renowned designers from France and J🍬apan with items from Nintendo's hit game.
Speaking of furniture, it's not a given that we'll be receiving any new items for Animal Crossing in the immediate future, as Nintendo has generally been winding down regular updates for the game for the last few months now. There is still the odd update here and there though, but they're chiefly aimed at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:tackling issue♍s like villagers being naked, rather than adding new content.

]]>The final 🐼few seasonal items of the year are now available in Nook Shopping, and they’re all New Year's celebratory items from all around the world. Players can now pick up a number of festive items such as a glass of - suspiciously champagne looking - fizzy apple juice, New Year’s noodles, a zodiac tiger figurine, and more. A full list of the new items can be found below as well as in the♒ seasonal tab of the Nook Shopping app in the game.
It was recently discovered that the zodiac tiger figurine isn’t exclusive to just this year, as a datamine uncovered that Nintendo has implemented the New Year’s item for the next 11 years of the game. Meaning each N🍎ew Year a new animal figurine based on the Chinese zodiac will become available through the Tanuki-themed retail system.
With Christmas right around the corner, now is a good time to reacquaint yourself with the annual in-game holiday that is 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons Toy Day. Du꧙ring the Christmas themed event, playe♒rs should expect to run into Reindeer NPC Jingle as he delivers gifts to all the residents on your island.
If you’ve been out of the loop on all things 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons, here’s what’s happened lately. Nintendo recently released a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:2.04 update which fixed the issue some people were having where their villagers suddenly appeared naked when working on the Happy Home Paradise island. This seemingly minor update also introduced a few other new features including the zodiac animal figures and allowed 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gyroid fragments to wash up on the beach.
If all of this wasn't a good enough reason to pick up your Nintendo Switch this Christmas, find out 6 reasons to get back into Animal Crossing this winter.
]]>Let’s be honest, nobody ever ꧋actually likes spending time in a hospital waiting room. You’re only there because something is wrong and even Animal Crossing villagers - who look eternally cute and happy - won’t find it particularly fun. This means the best thing you can do is make it a peaceful and comforting place to be. The huge furniture selection in Happy Home Paradise means it’s really easy to create a peaceful and bright room to sit while your villagers wait. We can recommend the diner sofas for a particularly cosy colourful design and remember to use plants to keep things green. Make sure your villagers have plenty of things to keep them entertained and don’t forget to head into the wall decoration section to find interesting posters for everyone to read while they wait. You can always customise them too. And don’t forget the hand gel!
Once you have placed your key furniture of a reception desk and chairs, don’t be afraid to push the boat out a little bit when it comes to theming your waiting room. One of the best things about Happy Home Paradise is how customizable everything is. Why have fish tanks in your waiting room when you can make your villagers feel like they are INSIDE one? Bear with us… Find a suitable wall and floor type - yes, we’re going for moving fish - and then head into the customization section and go along to lighting. Not only can you change the lighting to blue and keep a high intensity but you can also deliver a soothing ocean noise at the same time in the sound effects menu. Aaah, peaceful. But that’s only the beginning. Add some shells for kids seati𝓰ng and a shell table for some toys and you’ll be able to keep the little ones entertained too. This is also a perfect chance to use a water sparkle effect when you do some dusting. Pop in some reading material for tꦿhe grown ups and voila! A perfect interactive fish tank to keep everyone distracted while they wait.
Whether it’s the waiting or examination room, don’t forget to head into your sizing menu. Here you can create a small intimate examination room or a full size busy area with plenty of beds and gurneys. It’s also important to remember that there’s a variety of handy tools on offe🙈r to make it easier to place lots of the same item. Highlighting an item and pressing ZR will copy it so there’s no need to head back into the furniture menu. It also retains your customizations too. If you’re deleting things and starting again - don’t forget to finish and earn the Poki from the refit before you do this - then you can select all of your furniture by pressing the right shoulder button and then selecting everything to erase it all at once. Boom.
The Examination room is really where partitions and curtains come into their own. If you’ve opted for a sizeable room, you’ll want to be able to give your vacationers some privacy so you can opt to pop curtains next to their beds. Alternatively if you haven’t been able to afford the 120,000 Poki to unlock a ward, you can always create one by adding partitions to the largest room size. This will then let you split the room in two, leaving plenty of room for examinations to 𒉰take place but then also a great space for hospital beds and other important equipment.
Once you’ve placed the required furniture, your examination room especially can look particularly bare. Head into your furniture selection screen and you’ll find all kinds of themed hospital add-ons. Here you can find gurneys, medical cabinets, and wash basins as well as EKG machines to make sure your villager’s hearts are in the right place. Spoiler; of course they are. Once yo𓄧u have added all of the right hospital equipment, it’s time to get inventive with items to make sure everyone can stay entertained. You can always add a fruit bowl or jigsaw puzzle as well as plenty of reading material.
One quick bonus tip, once your two rooms are completed, you can head to your reception and donate an additional 120,000 Poki to add a ward. Once you’ve donated, Lottie will let you know it’s open the next day and expand the upstairs into a patient ward. Just make this a nice bright room for everyone to rest and you can always add a soothing sound effect too. You’ll even earn another 25,000 Poki for the expansion. And don’t forget that once y𓃲ou’ve built everything, you can always head in for a check up. Just head to the reception and explain your symptoms and the doctor will see you.
]]>So whet🌱her you fancy creating your own designer boutique or something a little more eccentric, here are our five top tips for setting up an app♏arel shop in Happy Home Paradise.
The most important part of designing your new apparel shop is figuring out what types of clothing you'll want to buy there.꧑ One of the essential items for creating the shop is placing between one and six display mannequins. There are options for tops, trousers, and headwear. You can place whatever configuration you fancy, but what you choose will be reflected in the clothing items you'll be able to buy. Everything♑ else in the store is just for show, so choose wisely.
While the apparel shop will see the lowest islanﷺder foot traffic, you still need to think about the space. The mannequins themselves will need to all be accessible, and then you'll want enough space to move around them and decorate the rest of the shop with displays, clothing, and o✨ther items. You can always change the size of the room later if needed, but it's more difficult once you've started decorating.
You'll then want to think about what kind of apparel shop you're creating. You could choose to theme it around a specific clothing style, like cute apparel with lots of pastel colours. Or you could go for something like a thrift store, with other items on display alongside the clothing. Or you could go high-end fashion, with gold watch🤪es and diamond rings on offer with suits and cashmere jumpers. Don't forget you can use clothing as dec♛orations too!
No good apparel shop would be complete without a changing ar🔯ea, so make sure to make space for at least one cubicle and something to give your shoppers a little privacy. You could use partition walls or dividers to create the space, and even add a sofa and a mirror to create a proper little dressing room area for your shoppers to try on clothing and other accessories.
Of course, just creating your apparel shop is just oཧne small part of its appeal. From now on, your new store will stock a daily range of new items, just like the Able Tailors back on your island. You can even choose for your store to stock a certain type of item if you're looking for something in par🦹ticular. It's something new and exciting to add your daily Animal Crossing: New Horizons routine!
]]>When you're setting up your apparel store for the first time, you'll have to choose the style of the clothes you'll be selling, whether they're showy or simple, cute or c༺ool. The style you decide on will affect what type of apparel appears in your shop, with six items appearing each day, so make sure you pick something that'll help you build your ideal look.
Once you've picked a style, why not let that shape the mood of your store? While the Able Sisters seem to be aiming for a somewhat homely approach, you can design your apparel store ho💫wever you like. Embrace your style, whether that's a bright pink shop filled with the cutest clothes you can find or something just a little more edgy that embraces your pop-punk past.
You'll need to stock your shop with plenty of things for your customers to buy, but you'll also want to transform the apparel store into a must-visit destination of its own, so get decorating. Saharah's co-op is a great plaꦯce to start if you're looking for rugs, flooring, and wallpaper (even if you don't already have an impressive collection) from her visits to your island, but you can also design your own to capture your unique tastes.
While you're creating your own decorations, you can also use the pattern editor to borrow your favourite real-life styles. Whethe🅷r you're using the tool to design the next Fashion Week must-have, or uploading actual fashion posters to advertise your wares around your store, New Horizon's versatile editor is perfectꦯ for helping beautify your shop.
No clothes shop would be complete without a changing room, so be sure to give youꦓr customers plenty of room to change. No matter your style, they're sure to fit in with your shop thanks to 64 different colour combinations, with eight different colours avai💞lable and a customisable curtain too.
No appღarel store is complete without a way to display its wares, so take advantage of items like the c🧔ustomisable Dress Mannequin or simply display your custom patterns to show your clothes off at their very best.
You've got an entire store to play with, so make sure you use all the space. Don't overdo it though - there's a finite amount of room for items in your shop, so make sure you pay attention to what you want and where you want it before you hit the lim🦹it.
Between Nook's Cranny and the Paradise Planning office, there are plenty of ways to show off the items in your store no matter what you're selling. From jewellery displayed in the Glass Showcase to Styl🍨ish Spotlights that highlight that truly must-have piece to shelves that line your store, you can put your own spin on your favourite goods.
With so many different ways to display your goods, you can also divide your 🌃store into sections dedicated to specific types of item with the partition walls. Unlocked by talking to Niko in the Happy Home expansion, these walls let you split up certain parts of your building, and they also work in the apparel store. Once you've picked out the perfect outfit, create a footwear or accessories se🌞ction to really complete the look.
What's a store without staff to help you find the perfect fit? Once you've perfected your apparel shop, you can choose one of your villagers to act as its manager. Make sure you're happy with your choice though - a lazy villager might shirk on their duties, while a cranky one might not get on with the customers. If you've got him, Raymond might be an excellent choice - he might be smug, but you can't say he doesn't have great taste🌸 in clothes.
]]>As shared ꧒by , players will soon be able to pick up a range of new seasonal items including zodiac animal figurines as well as the usual New Year's celebration items from all around the world.
Uncovered by dataminers, it appears Nintendo has added not one but 11 new Zodiac animal statues that start with the Zodiac Tiger Figurine which will be available through the seasonal tab at Nook Shopping from December 22, 2021 - Jan༺uary 5, 2022, for 1,600 bells.
What’s interesting though is that the other 10 figurines will be released one at a time around t෴he end of each year. This means the Zodiac Rabbit Figurine will become available towards the end of 2022/3, the Zodiac Dragon Figurine in 2023/4, and so on. A full list of these new figures as well as when we can expect them to be added to Nook Shopping can be found below.
If you happen to be playing Animal Crossing: Newཧ Horizons in 2034, rest assured it is expected that these will continue being added to Nook Shopping in the same order to correspond with the real-world Chinese zodiac/Lunar calendar.
Just like last year, Nook Shopping will also offer a number of other New Years item🐷s for players to pick up over the festive season including: The 2022 celebratory balloon arch (2,022 bells), New Year’s noodles (1,300 bells), New Year’s shimekazari (2,000 bells), Fizzy apple juice (1,000 bells), and much more.
If you were wondering what other subtle changes the recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons updates have made, here’s a brief round up. First and foremost, the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:naked villager glitch was patched out, resident ghost 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Wisp became to have gotten more generous, and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gyroids began washing up onto the beach.
If all of this wasn't a good enough reason to pick up your Nintendo Switch this Christmas, find out 6 reasons to get back into Animal Crossing this winter.
]]>Shared to the , one player posted a video of Peewee’s 🌱requested "elite sports gym" however not all is as it seems as the camera pans around and reveals a "totally not illegal Gyroid boxing ring."
This very clever design features climbing walls, a water cooler, a❀ punching bag - oh and a couple of partition walls which disguise the potentially unethical fight club. What makes this design so good though is the pro wrestling match wallp꧋aper and shady Gyroid manning the table at the entrance sitting next to a bag of bells.
We’ve seen a number of amazing designs made in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Happy Home Paradise DLC recently, with some of our other favourites being 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pippy’s 7/11 store - which featured all of the real-life convenience store branding in it - as well as the other player who utilised the custom polish effects tool in the interior😼 design expansion adding Soot Sprites to aꦅ house similar to Satsuki and Mei’s home from My Neighbor Totoro.
In more positive Gyroid news, following the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.04 update - which fixed 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the naked villager glitch - Gyroid fragments have begun washing up on island beaches, making it even easier to pick them up every day. What should you do with all the Gyroids you find, you ask? Why not create a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gyroid model village for𒁏 the🐽m to retire in once their boxing careers have come to an end?
Want to know what seasonal items are worth grabbing this week? Take a look at the winter and summer solstice items on sale at Nook Shopping at the moment.
]]>If pumpkin season taught us anything in Animal 🍸Crossing: New Horizons it was that growing our own produce was a satisfying joy. Step in five new different kinds of crops with the 2.0 update. You can now grow carrots, potatoes, sugarcane, tomatoes, and wheat. These are available to buy from Leif when he visits or at his stall on Harv’s Island and, in ture, open up dozens of new recipes. You can now craft these recipes at any cooker and either display them in all their beautifully realistic glory or eat them for extra energy. You can even turn wheat and sugarcane into flour, whole-wheat flour, sugar and brown sugar at any kitchen cooking item if your recipes demand it. This means that entire areas of your island can become dedicated to creating an agricultural paradise, complete with picket fences, and you can have even more specific dedicated outdoor eateries. Sushi anyone?
That’s right. The most unassuming but ultra-talented pigeon barista of all time has arrived in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You’ll find Brewster’s atmospheric coffee bar up the stairs and on the left in the museum. There’s a quick mission you’ll have to do first and the museum will close for a day but once Brewster’s set up, you can escape the freezing chill of winter and have a seat at the bar for a perfectly poured cup of joe. It’s only 200 bells a cup and, as ever, you’ve got the choice of drinking your coffee at peak temperature or waiting for it to cool a little. Of course, it’s delicious either way as you escape the hustle and bustle of your island. Random villagers and surprise guests will appear from time to tim🎉e, you can call up guests via Amiibo cards, and, if you don’t want to hang around, you can always unlock the ability to grab a cup of coffee to go. Just be aware that it gives you super energy if you d🌳rink it out and about.
Flying to Harv’s Island just used to be about heading to Photopia for staging some perfect Insta shots. This isn’t the case anymore, with a full co-operative of individual traders to unlock. You’ll have to pay 100,000 bells for each trader to open up but they’re all very𓆉 much worth it in their own ways. Instead of waiting for Kicks, Lei🎀f, Redd, or Sahara to arrive on your island, they each have an individual stall here. This means it might actually be possible to fill your museum with priceless art without time travel and it’s a great way to see what Sahara has in stock without having to buy it first.
But we also have some key returning characters from previous games. Harriet has a selection of new hairstyles for you to try, Katrina the Fortune Teller is on hand to let you know your luck for the day, the lovely Tortimer is ready and 𓄧waiting to give you access to your storage, and, potentially the most exciting of all, Cyrus and Reese are here too. For a fee, Cyrus will customize items in ways that sometimes can’t be achieved with customization kits.
Playing a lot of Animal Crossing: New Horizons prior to the update meant that after a while, you’d become used to seeing the same items appear in Nook’s Cranny. This just isn’t the cas🍬e anymore with more than 9000 new items available to customize your island. These include entirely new ranges like the castle walls and gate, as well as returning furniture types like C🦩ool and Ranch, and an entire range of vehicles such as tractors and yachts. And of course, the Froggy Chair has made his triumphant return too.
There has also been a serious overhaul of the home design tools. Even if you haven’t bought the Happy Home Paradise DLC for partitions, counters, and pillars, you’ll still get a serious amount of new home gear, including hanging lamps and shelves to really change the look of your home. Just beware that with so many new items, new crafting recipes, and 9 fresh types of fence recipe, you’re going to want to rip up your entire island and start again. Maybe it w✅ill feel cathartic…?
If trips to Harv’s Island to go shopping weren’t enough, there’s now an entirely new way to tour the world of Animal Crossing. Every day for the price of 1000 Nook Miles, Kapp’n can take you to a mystery island. He’s docked at the pier on your home island and the good news is that he can take you to a location with a different season, complete with unique flora and fauna. This even means you can catch some vital maple leaves for Fall recipes or Cherry Blossom Petals for spring craf𒁏ting. It’s an ideal way to escape the chilly snowy vista of your own island in winter and a great way to catch any rogue fish or bugs that are still missing from your museum collection. There’s even a🥃 recipe bottle on the beach to find for a bonus craftable.
There are also special versions of these mystery islands, with star fragments hidden in rocks, islands made exclusively of money rocks, and those packed with vines and glowing moss, the two new crafting ingredients that came with Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0 which come with their own recipes. Kapp’n’s islands are also the best place to find Gyroid fragments that you can bury on your island to create a suite of the strange little noisy cr𝓰itters. And hey, if all of that wasn’t enough, Kapp’n serenades you on the boat en route and the way back but you can always skip it by mashing the B button.
And finally, it’s hard to know where to begin when it comes to the general quality of life upgrades that arrived with theܫ update. If you were sick of heading back to your house every time you needed crafting materials or a specific item, you can now craft infinite storage sheds for speedy access wherever you like, and you can now vastly upgrade your home storage to a massive 5000 items. There are also now a total of 200 design slots across standard and pro designs if you struggled with the amount of choice in the online design portal, and there are now even ordinances to personalize your island. You can only have one enacted at any one time but if you were sick of the shops not being open early or late enough, you can opt for an Early Bird or Night Owl ordinance to let Animal Crossing fit your lifestyle rather than the other way around. There’s also a Pro camera addition that lets you take selfies with your villagers and add new interesting filters. Add in more reactions and the ability for villagers to come and visit while you’re at home and New Horizons has never felt better.
]]>The first step to pulling off any Christmas theme is decorations, and when the festive season comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the first thing you'll want to do is find some ornament🌼s. These speℱcial crafting materials are only around for a short time, so whenever you see a Cedar tree decked out in fairy lights, give it a shake and collect the red, blue, and gold ornaments that drop to the ground.
Once you've collected your ornaments, you'll n🦋eed some inspirational DIY recipes to start bringing your grotto to life. You can find these in all the familiar places - gifted from villagers, washed up in bottles on the beach, or floating by in balloons. Play throughout the festive period to collect as many as you can, and grab a headstart by collecting the Ornament Wreath recipe from Isabelle.
There's more than a dozen DIY recipes to collect, so once you've found them all (and collected all the ornaments you'll need), it's time to get crafting! No Chris💯tmas scene is complete without a tree, so why not start with a Big Festive Tree, or if you're building an indoor scene, grab a tabletop festive tree instead.
36 gyroids have made their way to Animal Crossing: ဣNew Horizons recently, but if you're looking to capture the Christmas spirit, you'll want to hope you dig up Jingloid. The tambourine-themed new arrival makes a noise that sounds just like Sleigh Bells whenever it jingles away to itself, instantly transforming any location into a festive hideaway as soon as you put some music on.
Of course, to get the most out of Jingloid, you'll need to make sure you've got the Christmas tunes pumping too. KK Slider doesn't have a dedicated festive offering in New H🥃orizons, but his impressive back catalogue is filled with alternatives; K.K. Steppe, Forest Life, and K.K. Aria are some great places to start, but experiment until you find your perfect vibe.
If you're literally all about the aesthetic, then you can add an extra touch of festive cheer to any item, just by polishing. Once you've completed three vacation homes in ꦿHappy Home Paradise, Wardell will teach you how to polish your furnit🦩ure to give each item a glittery festive sparkle. Complete some more houses and new polish effects like Steamshine and BrrBrr can help make your items look like they've just come in out of the cold, or lend your island an extra frosty feel.
Nothing's more Christmassy than a roaring fire, so set yourself up a fireplace and cuddle up warm with something hot from Brewster. Add to the vibe with a simple Set of Stockingsꦬ, which you can grab from Nook's Cranny throughout December for 2,000 bells.
Can't find exactly what you're looking for? Make it൲ yourself! The pattern editor is perfect, whether you're making something as simple as a specific decoration or as big as an ice rink for your villagers to play on. If you think you're lacking the artistic skill to make your own designs, why not see what the community has made? Browse forums or even dedicated s🎃ites to find beautiful designs.
If you've pieced together quite the item collection over the past year, this Christmas season could be the time to make the most of it. Put the Nook Twins and the Able Sisters to shame by building your very own market, stocked with all y꧑our favourite festive items. Don't want to build the whole thing? Use the pattern editor to make some market stall-themed backdrops.
Once you've got your island♛ looking perfect, it's time to dress the part. That could mean gearing up in your favourite warm woolen wear, or making a special trip to the Able Sisters for their Reindeer gear or the fabulous festive dress. And if you want to really make your villagers' Christmas, keep your eyes peeled for the Santa outfit - complete with beard - if you want to channel St Nicholas himself.
]]>The latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons update, 2.0.4, dropped yesterday, fixing a suite of bugs including one that made your villagers shed all of their clothes. 🅷Alongside the specific fixes, a line at the bottom of the official patch notes states that "other fixes have also been ma🌱de for more enjoyable gameplay."
It's not clear exactly what that means, but Reddit user HourTomato appears to have discovered at least one of the unspecified changes. In a post on the Animal Crossing subreddit, they can🗹 be seen posing on the beach next to what's undoubtedly a gyroid fragment, despite the fact that until the patch arrived, the fragments could only be found on solid ground.
It's not clear whether your beach-side 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons gyroids can be found in addition to the other two that you'll be able to find after it rains or snows, or whether you&ap💮os;ll juꦐst have to check a little further afield two collect the two existing spawns. Either way, in the middle of winter for the northern hemisphere, perhaps an extra trip to the beach will be a nice way to escape from the cold.

]]>The Animal Crossing: New Horizons naked villager glitch was an amusing and totally unexpected issue that seemed to only happen in the Happy Home Paradise DLC. According to several players online, and now the official patch notes, the issue appeared to only affect villagers in the cafe who were chosen to work in the facility and who were wearing customꩵ designs.
Thankfully, this frankly embarrಞassing glitch didn’t last long as Nintendo has just released a 2.04 update that fixes several small bugs including the one preventing your villagers from getting dressed in the morning. The full patch notes for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.04 update can be found on , but here's the pertinent update in the patch notes.
In other 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons news, the winter and summer solstice is due on both the Northern and Southern hemispheres and Nook Shopping has a꧅ range of items for both locations.

]]>In a video posted to the , user bribri812 gives fellow fans a tour of their Gyroid Village which is made up of dolls houses, toy cars, and the stars of the attraction, the Gyroids themselves. To make the tour even more magical, the video was shot using the recently added 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Animal Crossing: New Horizons first-person camera, which makes us fe𓆏el like we’re taking a leisurely stroll through the Gyroid neighborhood.
One clever detail we’ve spotted in the video is that this player has actually decorated the village with medium young trees⛦ to help with the perspective of the tiny village. According to , the player manageꦏd to keep the trees at their tiny size by planting them and then two days later putting a piece of fruit behind it as this obstructs the tree from growing any larger.
Another subtle detail that makes all the difference is the color coordination going on between the Gyroids and their respective houses. You’ll notice the dark brown Gyroid matches up with the🤪 gothic purple and black house at the start of the tour and the pink, beige, orange, a🐻nd blue Gyroids all following suit.
In other Animal Crossing: New Horizons-related news, we also recently discovered a highly detailed 7/11 convenience store recreation in Happy Home Paradise. It was also pointed out that resident scaredy-cat Wisp has become more generous since the 2.0 update, and that the villagers on your island are known to use Discord.
