Best Attacking 🃏Operators in Rainbow Six Siege X for Beginners

Sledge (SAS)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Sledge

Unique Ability: Breaching Hammer

Loadout options:

  • Primary: L85A2 assault rifle, M590A1 shotgun
  • Secondary: P226 MK25 pistol
  • Gadgets: Frag Grenade, Stun Grenade, Impact EMP Grenade

Sledge is a fantastic option for brand new players – he was nerfed a bit in previous seasons of Siege but now he's back in business with two speed and two health making him a well-rounded and balanced character. His unique ability isn't particularly difficult to understand, either. He has a massive sledgehammer, hence the name, which can smash through breakable surfaces with ease.

His weapons offer a decent variety of options, allowing him to take enemies out at range with his assault rifle or get in close with a shotgun. His gadgets, too, are easy to understand – two of them are pretty st🀅andard grenades as you'd find in any other FPS, while the impact EMP grenade a♋llows him to temporarily take out electronic devices. All in all, he's a great place to start your Rainbow Six Siege X journey.

Thermite (SWAT)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Thermite

Unique Ability: Exothermic Charge

Loadout options:

  • Primary: 556XI assault rifle, M1014 shotgun
  • Secondary: M45 MEUSOC pistol, 5.7 USG pistol
  • Gadgets: Smoke Grenade, Stun Grenade

Thermite is another brilliant option for new players who is also capable of turning the tide of battle. Thermite, as the name suggests, wields exothermic charges that can cut through reinforced walls, giving your team more breach options. He, like Sledge, is also very well-balanced in terms of stats. He has two speed and ♋two health, so he's relatively quick on his feet and can take more shots before going down. We still wouldn't advise you 𓆉to hang around in front of gunfire, however.

His weaponry is solid, too, with an assault rifle with a good rate of fire, counterbalanced by low destructibility potential. The semi-auto M1014 shotgun is also a fantastic option, and can be synergised with the exoth𒐪ermic charge for efficient and easy room clearances. In terms of gadgets, Thermite hews close to his SWAT past, and🐈 can carry either smoke or stun grenades.

Iana

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Iana

Unique Ability: Gemini Replicator

Loadout options:

  • Primary: G36C assault rifle, ARX200 assault rifle
  • Secondary: MK1 9mm pistol, GONNE-6 hand cannon
  • Gadgets: Impact EMP Grenade, Smoke Grenade

Iana is a Dutch Operator who has an incredible unique ability – she can project a controllable holographic copy of herself to gather intel and draw enemy fire. This can be used to set up ambushes, find enemies, and more! It's super versatile and quite easy to grasp as well, making her ideal🅠 for new players. As with the other Operators who we've mentioned so far, she has two speed and two health, ဣgiving her a decent balance.

Her weaponry is excellent as well – you get a choice of two assault rifles as your primary. The G36C carries more ammo and fires quickly, while the ARX200 is a heavier rifle that is great for precision shots but which only has 20 bullets per magazine. Her secondaries are interesting as well. You get a standard but versatile pistol or a hand cannon, which fires explosive projectiles. If yo💯u're having visions of China Lake grena💫de launchers and blowing enemies to smithereens, then you'll be disappointed. However, the GONNE-6 is excellent at destroying gadgets, and has superb accuracy.

Zero (Fourth Echelon)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Zero

Unique Ability: Argus Launcher

Loadout options:

  • Primary: SC3000K assault rifle, MP7 submachine gun
  • Secondary: 5.7 USG pistol, GONNE-6 hand cannon
  • Gadgets: Hard Breach Charge, Claymore mine

Zero is Sam Fisher. Yes, that Sam Fisher, from the Splinter Cell series, migrated over to another Tom Clancy proper🐽ty, but don't let that fool you into thinking he can't stand toe-to-toe with other Operators. Zero only has one health but this is counteracted by his three speed and powerful special ability. The Argus Launcher fires cameras that can punch through reinforced surfaces (in addition to standard breakable ones), as well as firing a laser that you can use to distract enemies, destroy devices, or even finish off a downed enemy (though this is🎀 very hard to pull off, as the lasers do a tiny amount of damage).

His armaments are solid, particularly the MP7 SMG. While it lacks in damage compared to the SC3000K assault rifle, it has a higher rate of fire and can carry more bullets to make up for it. In terms of his secondaries, Zero also packs the GONNE-6, much like Iana, as well as the 5.7 USG which can do very decent damage. His gadgets are extremely useful too, with the Claymore fantastic for use in tight corridors, while the Hard Breach Charge can punch a good-🤪sized hole through reinforced surfaces.

Best Defending Operators in ꦉRainbow Six Siege X for Beginners

Mute (SAS)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Mute

Unique Ability: Signal Disruptor

Loadout options:

  • Primary: M590A1 Shotgun, MP5K submachine gun
  • Secondary: SMG-11 machine pistol, P226 MK25 pistol
  • Gadgets: Nitro Cell explosives, Bulletproof Camera

Mute is a fantastic and versatile defender whose unique ability is exceptional🥀ly useful. As his name implies, his signal disruptor ability can jam electronic devices, rendering the enemy team's drones useless. He's a tanky Operator, too, which isn't such a problem for defenders who are willing to set up kill zones, coming with just one speed but three health.

His weaponry boasts two solid options in the form of a pump-action shotgun and fast-firing submachine gun. While the shotgun does more damage and has a faster aim down sights (ADS) time, it's hard to beat th💜e MP5K's rate of fire. If you prefer the shotgun, you could also consider equipping the SMG-11 as your secondary, which is effectively a bonus SMG with a small magazine. Alternatively, you can pack a punch with the P226 MK25. The gadgets are excellent as well – the bulletproof camera is exactly what it says on the tin, while the nitro cell explosives are fantastic remote-detonated plastic explosive charges.

Rook (GIGN)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Rook

Unique Ability: Armor Pack

Loadout options:

  • Primary: MP5 submachine gun, P90 submachine gun, SG-CQB shotgun
  • Secondary: LFP586 pistol, P9 pistol
  • Gadgets: Proximity Alarm, Impact Grenade, Observation Blocker

Rook is a French Operator and another tanky one, with three health and one speed. His special ability is invaluable for any team, giving him the ability to throw down armor plates for his team to use. While a little more mundane than some of the other s🔥pecial abilities that we've mentioned on this list, it's extremely helpful.

His weaponry offers a good range of damage and ♉fire rate. The P90 fires fastest but has the least damage, the MP5 is a happy medium, and the SG-CQB shotgun is slow but hits like a truck. If you're going for high-damage loadout above all else, the LFP586 pistol is also well worth mentioning. It's a revolver that can only hold six shots, but hits very hard. If you'd prefer a more balanced approach, the P9 isn't bad either, doing less damage but holding 16 shots.

In terms of gadgets, the proximity alarm is fantastic for figuring out where enemies are, while the impact grenade is essentially an explosive tennis ball you can bean at people. The Observation Blocker, meanwhile,🐽 inhibits the view of enemy drones and CCTV, letting you do your devilish business in secret.

Kapkan (Spetsnaz)

Rainbow Six Siege X Operators - Kapkan

Unique Ability: Entry Denial Device

Loadout options:

  • Primary: 9x19VSN submachine gun, SASG-12 Shotgun
  • Secondary: GSH-18 pistol, PMM pistol
  • Gadgets: Bulletproof Camera, Barbed Wire

Kapkan is an excellent, balanced Operator, with two speed and two health. What really makes him worth playing, however, is his Entry Denial Device. This ability allows him to lay laser tripwire traps across doorways and windows, which will trigger a🍨n explosive if tripped. The damage they do is quite significant and they affect anyone within🧸 a few meters, potentially allowing you to hit several enemies with one Entry Denial Device.

His primaries are solid – th▨e SMG does decent damage and has an okay rate of fire, while the SASG-12 semi-auto shotgun sacrifices fire rate for pure power. It's mag-fed as well, giving you 10 shots before you need to reload. His two pistols give you a balanced option in the form of the GSH-18 or a heavier-hitting option in the PMM. His gadgets are good, too, with a Bulletproof Camera ideal for intel gathering and Barbed Wire🀅 for area denial and slowing down enemies.

So there we have it, a selection of the best Rainbow Six Siege X Operators for beginners, whether you're attacking or defending – now get out there and start fighting over that objective!

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> The new action game from former G꧑TA lead Leslie Benzies, called MindsEye, has been anything but ideal. Build a Rocket Boy's debut game launched this week to bugs aple𒁃꧅nty, shaky performance, and a mixed response from players, but the studio is now promising to drop three hotfixes t🗹h🍨is month alone.

In a𝓀 new statemꩵent posted to social media, Build a Rocket Boy said the developer is "heartbroken that not every player was able to experience the game as we intended" and claims employees were working "tirelessly throughout the night to solve many of these issues."

To try and remedy the rocky launch, the studio's releasing a hotfix this weekend aimed at "CPU and GPU improvements," depth of field set⭕tings, various bug fixes, and reduced difficulty for a ridiculously tough mini-game. A second hotfix coming sometime next week and a third coming sometime later this month will provide "ongoing performance and stability improvements," among other things.

MindsEye isn't just your typically unoptimized game launch, though. Sponsoreꦕd streamers haven't even been able to promote the gamℱe without laughing oꦅr, oddly, having their sponsorships canceled at the last minute.

But Build a Rocket Boy also tried to explain where all these technical issues, horrifying glitches included, stem from. "We have now identified that the vast majority of crashes were caused by a memory leak," the studio noted. "This impacted roughly 1 in 10 of our players. We have developed a hotfix that addresses this issue (alongside other issues that our players have highlighted), which we are working hard to deploy as soon as tomorrow on PC and ⛄on consoles once it passes certification with PlayStation and Xbox.

"We are fully committed to ensuring all our pla🥀yers have a great experience, and we will continue to provide frequent and trans𒊎parent updates. We will do our best to respond to all your comments and feedback," it adds.

Just yesterday, the studio admitted MindsEye's launch "hasn't been without its challenges."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> The Switch 2 is finally here, which of course means that Nintendo fans are finding new ways to challenge themselves in-game – including one skilled 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Tears of the Kingdom player, who is able to play the g🐲ame with their Joy-Con atta꧅ched backwards.

Yes, you read that 🌺right. Forget about blindfolded speedruns, Japanese Zelda fan "Peco" has⛦ found a new way to challenge himself. As Peco highlights in a recent online , players can actually insert their Switch 2 Joy-Con controllers the wrong way around on the new handheld console and have them remain functional, effectively allowing them to play games entirely backwards without seeing any of the action firsthand themselves.

While it's akin to a blindfolded run, a playthrough with reversed Joy-Con controllers seems like it'd be nearly impossi💫ble – but Peco manages to take on a Lynel in Tears of the Kingdom without seeing his screen once. As a longtime Zelda fan myself, that's an enemy many people st🉐ruggle with, as is, so seeing a person tackle one without access to the screen is seriously impressive. Furthermore, it might open the door to a new category of speedruns.

As Peco writes (translated by DeepL and Google), the Switch 2 "Joy-Con works properly no matter which way it's inserted" – in other words, it's not unique to Tears of the Kingdom, nor is it something that only Peco could pull off himself. With thousands of shares and views so far, too, it's safe to say the broader Nintendo community mig🍌ht get in on the action and have a go at playing through games with their Joy-Con reversed.

After all, blindfolded speedruns are already a thing, and various players have proven capable of doing them – and quickly, too. In 2024, a 澳洲幸运5开奖号🧸码历史查询:blindfolded Tears of the Kingdom speedrunner finished the game in under three hours. "CrystalSaver," the man behind the BlindfoldedGaming website, was also able to beat Tears of the Kingdom 11 months ago in under an hour – 59 minutes and eight seconds, to be exact – as showcased in a video of his full run.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was one of the earliest PS5 exclusives, dropping around 6 months after the console first launched, but Insomniac Games has revealed that despite all of that time passing, the final Easter egg that was hinted at less than a year after the game released was never found by players. So instead of waiting even longer, Insomniac has decided to show it off to celebrate the game's꧟ fourth anniversary.

All we knew up until now was that the Easter egg was found in Zurkie's Gastropub, a location you frequent during Rift Apart's campaign, and considering that area is already filled with Easter eggs in the form of nods to past games, it made things 𓄧a bit harder. During the Insomniac Live show on Twitch (with the clip since posted to Insomniac's Twitter account)🧜, the game's senior designer, Grant Parker walked through the Easter egg.

So before you go into Zurkie's, there are two signs telling you that there are no weapons allowed and someho🎃w players were meant to figure out that you need to shoot the left one five times, the right one four times, and then shoot the left one 13 more times, which results in nothing. There's no indication that anything has happened. But if you head into the pub and walk up the mechanical bull, you'll be shown a prompt saying "Hold L2 to Ride Mechanical Bull."

Holding L2 will then put you into a minigame where you have to try your best to stay on the bull. Except it's clearly unfinished, as Rivet is see♈n standing beside the bull while another version of herself is t-posing on the bull, which has no animations at all and simply clips through the floor as it moves around. However Parker says it was "just something fun that I thought I'd leave in the game" knowing that no one would find it… until now, obviously.

Split Fiction players defeat secret challenge so tough that some of the devs themselves can "barely" complete it, and get rewarded with the promise of an early peek at the director's next game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> If you're anything like me, you'll no doubt be frustrated with the soulslike genre effectively putting the classic hack and slash game away for a while. Every time something like The First Berserker: Khazan shows up looking stylish as hell only for it to be a soulslike deals me psychic damage. And because of that, the announcement of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ninja Gaiden 4 was an incredibly welcome one,♏ with the devs "going against the trend.🌌"

Not only is Team Ninja (which is somewhat responsible with their soulslikes Nioh and Wo Long), returning to its premiere action series, but PlatinumGames is returning the the genre that made the studio an all-time great before it got into RPGs and live service. PlatinumGames producer Yuji Nakao recently spoke about the disappearance of the action genre, while, Team Ninja producer Masakazu Hirayama spoke about the topic at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest in an interview attended by GamesRadar+.

"The conversation about action games has changed quite a lot since the last Ninja Gaiden game," Hirayama says, referring to 2012's Ninja Gaiden 3 (or maybe 2014's Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, which we'd all like to forget, but theꦕ point still stands). He adds: "Soulslikes have kind of taken center stage."

However, despite this, and despite Team Ninja's soulslike focus over the last decade, the team knew things had to be different when returning to Ninja Gaiཧden. "Ninja Gaiden is about having high s🎉peed, pure action gameplay. So we are going against the trend in that way."

However, despite the 13-year gap (or 18 year gap, considering Ninja Gaiden 3 was kind of pants) and the change in developer, Team Ninja is certain that fans of the series will not feel lost returning to it. Hirayama says, "When you pick up the controller and you play, it has that responsiveness, that really satisfying gameplay. Right when you pick it up, it feels like an evolution. It's like, oh, this is Ninja Gaiden." Now we just need Capcom to go back to Devil May Cry.

Capcom's android apocalypse Pragmata is such a genius mix of shooters and puzzle games, both of which I normally hate, and I'm starting to rethink my entire existence.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Right at the end of澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: Summer Game Fest 2025 during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, viewers got a glimpse of what might just be one of the most hotly anticipated games' release windows – that of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong – and now, developers are even teasing DLC.

The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong appearance during the ROG Xbox Ally reveal filled fans with hope – a hope that was further solidified when a launch window 澳洲幸运5♔开奖号码历史查询:sometime "before" the Holiday season was confirmed. Not only are players finally getting the Metroidvania sequel they've now waited for since its 2019 conception, though, b🅷ut they've also appar♊ently got DLC to look forward to already – or so Team Cherry says.

Seemingly suggesting that future content is indeed in the studio's plans, marketing lead Matthew "Leth" Griffin speaks up in content creator Primacon's live chat during a stream on , as the YouTuber suggests that "Silkposting" (AKA the wild online post💟ing we've seen from fans desperate for the game over the years since its announcement) is "not gonna go away" even after the Metroidvania has released.

"There's always DLC," read the dܫeveloper's words – words that carry an ominous possib💯ility in the eyes of some fans. As players write on a thread regarding the "reveal" (if you can call it that), it's all too reminiscent of Silksong's origin.

from

For anyone unaware, the sequel started as DLC for the first Metroidvania, but spiraled into a full game of its own due to the scope of the project. Six long years have passed since then, eight in to🌠tal if counting back from the original Hollow Knight's release, with little word from Team Cherry until the recent Xbox Games Showcase. It's understandable, then, that players worry the "DLC" hinted at by Griffin could unfold into a 🐈similar situation.

As one writes, "Sure hope this DLC do🐼esn't turn into a full-fledged game that takes eight years to develop." Another frustrated fan exclaims, "RELEASE THE GOD DAMN GAME BEFORE TALKING ABOUT DLC!" Elsewhere, a player asks, "How do they confirm DLC before a release date for the base game?"

While there's obviously no telling what will happen yet, it's safe to say the community doesn't want DLC right now – fans want Silksong.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> In the run-up to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, previews have been positive all around. For most developers, this would be excellent news, but not Hideo Kojima. He's now a little worried that perꦓhaps what he's made isn't divisive in the way that he’d like.

He explained🍷 his feelings to Game Informer during a premiere eventಌ for Death Stranding 2. "Anything that lasts 10 years, 20 years, it has to be new. And most of those are not received well at the start," Kojima says. "That exists for 20 or 30 years, and then looked back on, with people saying 'This is great.'"

A considerable amount of entertainment at the moment is "easy to digest," Kojima argues, and in his mind, Death Stranding needed emphatic fans, thus he wanted to make somᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚething where a minority loved it, but those people became truly dedicated to it.♓ He mentions how Metal Gear wasn't talked about much until a decade after the original.

"For Death Stranding 2, when I tested it, it wasnꦰ’t like that," he admits. "Everyon🍒e liked it. That’s why I said, 'Maybe this is a problem.' It was more than my prediction, in the first Death Stranding, everyone had pros and cons."

The audience dynamic he's looking for is more li🙈ke four out of 10 players who are profoundly moved by the work, while the rest are unsure. This seemed closer to the truth for Death Stranding, an odd g♛ame in many respects, that some players got thoroughly into straight away, and plenty more were left a little bemused.

For Death Stranding 2, the climate is different. It 🃏seems like more people are on board from the off. When the game comes out on June 26, we'll know if players are having an easier time with it compared to its predecessors. Kojima's comments speak to a creative anxiety about creating something that lasts in the cultural lexicon, rather than being a fleeting sensation.

He's spoken openly about his desire to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:inspire others and leave a legacy of encouragement ♚for anyone creative. Regardless of how On the Beach fits into that paradigm, it should spur plenty of d𓂃iscussion.

If Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid ever crossover, Kojima knows who should be a porter, even though they "won't be able to carry things so much"

However, to maintain consistency across consoles, Nintendo has had to downgrade the original Switch version of Splatoon 3.

Alongside the new Splatoon 3 update 10.0.0, Nintendo released a batch of and ℱwhile the Nintendo Switch 2 notes are all very nice and pleasant, featuring the likes of "smoothed animations for certain characters", "made it so the screen displays in more detail", and making the movement smoother in a number of areas, Switch 1 didn'🔥t get an upgrade.

Nintendo's notes say, "Made it so that certain elements outside the stage and unrelated to battle do not display when battling in Splat Zones/Tower Control/Rainmaker/Clam Blitz modes." Due to the Swi𒀰tch 2 being a far more powerful system, this has been done to "reduce differences in game operation speed as much as possible when compared with Nintendo Switch 2," as it would risk giving players on the new console an advantage otherwise.

Outside of that, the patch notes are pretty♉ standard, new weapons, balance changes to existing weapons, and the return of the beloved Urchin Underpass map from the original Splatoon game. And that should tide us over until we get some more details about Splatoon Raiders.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> MindsEye, the new action game from former GTA lea🍒d Leslie Benzies' studio Build a Rocket Boy, launched this week꧅ to a plethora of bugs, shaky performance, and a "Mixed" rat😼ing on Steam, and in a new statement, its devs admit the reജlease "hasn't been without its challenges for♛ some of you."

Build a Rocket Boy had already stated that it was "working around the clock to improve peꦉrformance on mainstream hardware as well as consoles," and it's that, as it stands, "our top priority is game performance," apologizing for the high PC spec re𝓡quirements having "limited the experience for many of you."

As such, "a patch that begins our commitment to aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚddress this is scheduled for the end of this week on PC, which will also roll out to consoles as soon as pos🍌sible." The update should integrate "initial CPU and GPU performance improvements, along with memory optimizations," as well as a "new setting to disable or modify Depth of Field," and a fix for some missing controls in certain minigames. The "CPR mini-game" should be easier, too.

"PCs that have Hardwarജe Accelerated GPU Scheduling disabled, and PCs with CPUs that have potential crash issues" should also get "pop-up warnings," which doesn'tꦅ really sound like it'll help combat the actual issues, but at least people will be more aware of the potential of them happening, I suppose?

Although the devs haven't directly acknowledged some of the wild bu🎀gs that people have found, like NPCs turning into spaghetti and being able to walk through the air, Build a Rocket Boy says: "This will be the first in a series of updates aimed at enhancing your experience, and we'll continue to share regular information."

The studio has thanked fans "for your incredible support," addin🍸g: "This is just the start of a long-term vision to make MindsEye the best possible game for you."

MindsEye continues to project confidence: ex-GTA 5 lead's new game is available physically, but the devs ask folks to delay streams until official launch time – meanwhile a 7-hour "100% walkthrough" is already on YouTube

Capcom♋ took extra steps to make sure its depiction of that location in particular was a realistic one.

"We worked with the Kiyomizu-dera temple officials," produc🎀er Akihito Kadowaki told GamesRadar+ in an interview at Summer Game Fest. "It was important to us to make sure that we were presenting these real world locations in Kyoto in Japan not just realistic♐ally in terms of how they're laid out today, but also thinking back to how they would have looked at the time setting that the game is in."

Kiyomizu-dera Temple is proving to be quite a popular video game location, appearing in recent major titles like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Assassin's Creed Shadows and Ri𝓡se of the Ronin. Both of those games are mostly grounded in historical reality, which perhaps makes it even more notable that Onimusha – a game about fighting supernatural creatures – is going the extra mile for its depiction of the location, even if Capcom is already acknowledging its cr꧅eative liberties.

"There's a part of me that wants people who play the game, and perhaps they have a chance to visit the real temple in Kyoto, to notice how well we were a🤪ble to recreate it and spot all the parts that feel just like the game," Kadowaki continued. "But I also think that you'll be able to spot differences in a fun way. Because, of course, to make it a game stage, we have to get a little bit creative in some areas. So I'd like to think that players of Onimusha: Way of the Sword will enjoy comparing the real world location with our work in the game."

Onimusha: Way of the Sword feels like a PS2 throwback in all the b🧸est ways based on the hands-off gameplay demo Capcom showed us behind closed doors, giving old-school action a very modern look and feel. Getting to explore historical Japan🌠 in between on the oni-slaying is just icing on the cake.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> No matter how cool it feels to control the mechs in upcoming shooter Mecha Break, don't get it twisted: you're playing as a human. Developer Amazing Seasun Games is so keen on this information that you may find your character needs to relieve themselv🅷es in-game, and the requisite plumbing is there to do so.

The toilets wo🃏rk, apparently, as part of an emphasis on the humanistic side of the game. "The ultimate goal for the hangar is for players to be able to interact with everything they see. We've added things like a gym and even a toilet, so that too," Kris Kwok, CEO of Amazing Seasun, to PC Gamer.

The mech suits are known as Break Strikers, and piloting them is the thrus♉t of the experience. You go on missions and tackle similar overwrought battletanks, similar to MechWarrior, Armored Core, or Titanfall.

But who you are away from all the lasers and metal is a whole other aspect of the project, and one that the team wanted to keep in focus. "We want to reinforce to our players that they are acting as a pilot and not the mech itself. So we want to have a space where players see themselꦯves as a pilot," Kwok adds.

This opens some base-building features, since you’ll be upgrading and𒈔 tinkering with your living space. There are team-based multiplayer modes, suggesting your quarters will act as lobbies as well, like in Helldivers 2, where each ship is a place to congregate and discuss strategies before jumping into the fray.

You can test out the pipes when Mecha Bre൩ak launches on July 1. Might be a while before they add a bideﷺt, though.

"For mechas, this will be a breakthrough": Mecha Break impresses across its chaotic 6v6 action and revamped Mashmak extraction mode

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> It's starting to feel li🥃ke Capcom can't miss, and after seeing a hands-off gameplay demo of Onimusha: Way of the Sword and speaking with the game's developers at Summer Game Fest, I don't think that streak is ending anytime soon. This is a confident comeback for a long-dormant series, and one that appears to perfectly capture the 𒉰vibes of PS2 action-horror in a gorgeously realized modern package.

It's been nearly 20 years since the last proper Onimusha game, but Capcom says "it's been a long time coming for us" as much as it has for fans, as the studio has never given up its h♈opes on bringing the series back. A lot of things just got in the way first.

"We actually had wanted to continue the series ever since the last title was released," producer Akihito Kadowaki told me via translator, "but just a confluence of factors meant that it never quite came together until early 2020, which was when this project kicked off development. Part of it was getting the♔ core team that we wanted to work on the game to be available, and everyone had this or that project in the lineup they had to take care of first."

The other big factor was the development of the RE Engine, which "saw the technological possibiliꦡties coming together to make this title possible." Those technological advances were apparent in the demo from its fantastic visuals through to its smooth action, but there's still something of the old school in how Way of the Sword plays.

Hack and slash

Key info

Developer: Capcom
Publisher: Capcom
Platform(s): PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC
Release date: 2026

This demo was quite linear, seeing protagonist Musashi Miyamo🔥to take on a series of Genma demons ꦯat a modestly fictionalized version of the real-world Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Each encounter sees Musashi come upon a group of Genma, and you're benefited by quickly building a strategy for how you take down your foes.

Your guard can block attacks from any direction – you just have to be careful not to take too many attacks, as your guard cওan break – which gives you time to plan your own strikes. You can redirect enemy attacks so that your foes run into walls or even flaming torches that'll take them down in a hurry. You can even deflect enemy archers Star Wars-style, reflecting the arrows straight back at them to kill them in a hurry.

And, of course, Onimusha's 🤡signature Issen move returns, where you parry incoming strikes by making your own attack at the right time to instantly take down foes, sometimes slicing them right in half as you do. The Issen kills ൲can be chained together against multiple enemies, too. As director Satoru Nihei puts it, the Issen is "a more active way to get players involved with reading and reacting to the enemy's moves than just constantly being on defense."

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

This pace of comb🍨at evokes the old Onimusha, where you'd fight enemies screen-by-scr⛎een on prerendered backgrounds. Here, the areas are far more dynamic, but that feeling of entering an encounter, carefully making your moves, and moving forward is still preserved.

Particularly impressive throughout the demo were the combat animations, which look deliciously brutal and really bring forward Musashi's more playful, sardonic personality, showing him finishing off foes with a certain swagger that's very compelling. Capcom wante๊d to move away from the classic image o▨f the serious samurai with Musashi, and he's just as magnetic in the game as he is in the cutscenes we've seen in the early trailers.

"Musashi Miyamoto is a figure who we fe♌lt wouldn't be averse to bending or breaking the rules and using what was available to him in any given situation to just survive, win each fight, and get to the next one," Nihei explains. "Whether that means grabbing a tatami mat and throwing it at an enemy to destabilize them, or taking opportunities to choose weapons other than a katana if the opportunity arises in order to defeat a foe, those are parts that we felt could build a new image of a samurai."

Capcom wanted to make the combat largely "about reading your opponent's moves and deciding strategically, moment by moment, how you're going to take each enemy on," as Nihei explains, "and I think that naturally led to a slightly more deliberate pacing of the action." Musashi has some superhuman moves thanks to his Oni gauntlet, so "he has moments where he's doing a slow, sort of samurai-style read of what action to take next, then with certain moves, you can do your super-human speed dodges and things like that. So there is a bit of a push and pull between those two element꧅s of the game's pacing."

The samurai's way

"Musashi Miyamoto is a figure who we felt wouldn't be averse to bending or breaki💙ng the rules."

Satoru Nihei, director

It seems that the game will largely consist of linear stages, though there will be points with branching paths or "slightly more open"💧 areas to explore and find side quests. "As the setting is Kyoto, you'll be able to talk to the denizens of that city," Nihei says, "and they might have requests that they make of Musashi and ask him to help them out in various ways." Other, more major side characters might also make requests of Musashi during the game for more optional objectives.

The demo concluded with a pair of boss fights. The first was against a human enemy named Sasaki G🐻anryu, who's also gotten hold of the same sort of Oni gauntlet as Musashi. But while Musashi is reluctant to use its demonic powers, Ganryu has no such reservations, delivering his antagonistic monologues with a high-camp charm.

The fight itself brings together all of the combat elements we saw throughout the demo in a much grander fashion, challenging you to counter Ganryu's moves and time your own strikes. But bosses also have a second bar under their health meter, which depletes as you deflect their attacks, and once it's empty you can perform a Break Issen, which stops the action and lets you choose a specific 💎part of the boss to attack.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

In Ganryu's case, you could use the Break Issen to either attack his head for a big chunk of damage, or stab h♚im mid-torso – in the soul area, apparently – to cut loose a bunch of spirits you can then absorb for a quick health refill. It looks like a smart way to give a quick break i📖n the action and let you choose what kind of boon best suits you as the fight wears on.

Finally, we saw another boss fight against a much larger, monstrous enemy called Byakue which had a coဣmpletely different vibe from the more humanoid, sword and bow-wielding enemies we'd seen up to this point. It looks like we can expect a great deal of variety in these big encounters, and both fights looked like exciting challenges.

Based on this brief gameplay demonstration, Onimusha: Way of the Sword already has me hooked. I love the deliberate pace to the action, and Capcom's track record has me confident it'🐭ll f🍸eel just as good as it looks with controller in hand. Add in a lovable protagonist and a taste of some compelling villains and you've got the makings of a hugely memorable action game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Playing the Dead as Disco demo during Steam Next Fest, I feel like I'm kindred spirits with developer Brain Jar Games. Just like me, they must have understood that while 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Batman Arkham City and the rest of the series deliver sublime action, the timing-based brawls are also just as much rhythm games, hours and hours spent in the game's challenge maps scored by the thwacks of punches rather than music. Dead as Disco simply asks – well, what if these scraps were scored by some incredibly cool tunes?

That's as much as I needed to know about the premise to click the download button with expert precision and get Dead as Disco hooked into my SSD (and if you want to know more about this sizzling demo season, check out our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Steam Next Fest guide). With a simple to understand combat system very much inspired by Bat𝓰man Arkham, these fiꦦghts aren't just a thrill to clear but have me chasing high scores already.

Feel the beatdown

Charlie Disco fends of enemies in Dead as Disco's Hemlock stage from the Steam Next Fest demo

The Dead as Disco demo begins with a quick tutorial confirming that – yes – if you've played Batman Arkham you'll understand the fundamentals. There's a button 💛for attacks, a counter button that hovers over the heads of those attempting incoming strikes, a dodge – even a double-button press for finishers once you've built enough energy.

The big difference is the timing of the attacks automatically matches the playing song's BPM and, importantly, pressing counter when there's no attack to respond to doesn't do a weird looking fumble animation but instead has Charlie Disco – the resurrected hero of the game who's looking to take down his Idol rivals – do a little taunt, 🅷like pushing his hand through his hair. Now that's stylish.

You get a taste of the story mode with the Hemlock level – marked 𝓰as an alpha build of the stage. Scored to a cover of Maniac, these fights against all manner of enemies from regular goons to shield-wielding hulks chop-and-change location to keep you on your toes. Stage hazards are introduced, seeing subway trains mow down both Charlie and enemies if they stand in the wrong place. From there action 🙈moves inside a subway car, side-on action mimicking the style of Streets of Rage and other beat 'em ups while maintaining Dead as Disco's regular control scheme. The action gets the blood pumping, but ends with a tease before the boss fight proper.

Charlie Disco performs a finisher move on an enemy in Dead as Disco's Infinite Disco mode in the demo

Outside of the almost Mega Man-like grid of levels teased on the demo🐻's menu is Infinite Disco. It's here I've spent the most time with Dead as Disco, as this generous demo proves to be essentially endless. Brawls in this mod🎉e take place in a disco-themed ring, with waves of enemies that get tougher the longer you fight, able to keep going as you please or see how much score you can accumulate over the course of the length of a song. Plenty are included, presumably from the full game to come.

But what lets you go even further is the option to import your own songs, setting the BPM to match your tune of choice. Undertale's Megalovania? A bit of Carly Rae Jepsen? It's all up to you, able to test out the super satisfying combat of Dead as Disco with the playlist of your choice. Still, I can't wait to see what more the full levels bring. But for now, I'm happy to keep spinning new tracks over and over. at some point to be confirmed.

I thought only needing two buttons would make this Steam Next Fest rhythm demo easier... I couldn't have been more wrong

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> As the wait for 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hideo Kojima's long-awaited sequel 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2 continue🐈s, the iconic director has been preparing the upcoming action-adventure game's fi🐟nal trailer – one he says might leave fans surprised.

As translated by in an online post, a recent Koji10 💮episode on sees the lead reveal that he's been hard at work recently on the last trailer before the Death Stranding 2 launch on June🙈 26. Not only has Kojima been finalizing what's almost sure to be a cinematic masterpiece of a video while on land, however, but also while mid-air – that's right, he's been editing during flights on the plane by selecting clips to use on his iPad.

Kojima promises new information rℱegarding Death Stranding 2 to come to light once the big trailer releases later this month, but that's not all – he also hints that a moment about halfway through the video will leave viewers in awe, asking, "What?!" While he doesn't specify what that moment is or what shocking things it might unveil, it's exciting to think that an even more thought-provoking Death Stranding 2 trailer than the last is arriꦰving.

There are more exciting creations to come from Kojima than just the Death Stranding sequel, too. His upcoming project OD, which he describes as 澳🐭洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:"a bit risky" and "a game like no other," is being produced in collaboration with comedian and filmmaker Jordan Peele, and the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding movie, which Kojima states is "not just a direct translation of the game," is also underway, presenting a "universe that has never been seen before."

If Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid ever crossover, Kojima knows who should be a porter, even though they "won't be able to carry things so much"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> MindsEye, the new single-player action game from GTA 5 veteran Leslie Benzies' studio, Build a Rocke♒t Boy, is finally here, but it's unfortunately not off to a fantastic start.

Since its launch yesterday, MindsEye accumulated a peak of 3,302 concurrent players on Steam (), which isn't exactly great for a day-one performance. What's more, it sounds like most of the people who have played it on PC aren't happy – currently, only 42% of its 827 reviews are positive, making for a "Mixed" overa🧜ll rating as players criticize its and "gunplay is buggy and the game feels clunky to play."

Another that "the story is somewhat interesting, but the gameplay is just unplayable, it's nowhere near optimized," whi✃le "bugs galore! One second I'm in a cinematic, the next my car decides it's in orbit. [...] Performance so shaky you'll question humanity."

Meanwhile, players across social ✱media have been sharing clips and screenshots of bugs and general chaos. "MindsEye is not looking too good," one writes, sharing a terrifying image🥃 of a character whose eyes appear to have escaped their head, protruding from their melting face a bit like a snail.

"OH DEAR GOD," another says, with a clip showing them running over a character in a vehicle, only for it to stretch each of the poor guy's limbs into a hor🐽rifying, 🦂spaghettified mess as he goes flying. "Seb is dead," the game then proclaims.

Elsewhere, another player laments that "MindsEye definitely needed a delay," sharing a cl🌄ip of NPCs running through the air, vehicles suddenly jumping up, and another poor dude phas꧑ing through the bottom of his car after being shot, all within the span of 55 seconds.

Developer Build a Rocket Boy hasn't directly addressed the bugs, but it has posted a noting that "we understand that the current minimum spec requirements are very high, but our e🧜ngineering team are working around the clock to improve performance on mainstream hardware as well as consoles by integrating the performance improvements in Unreal Engine V5.6." We should be getting more information about "patch 3 update timing, including these improvements" very soon.

The studio had previously advised anyone with early copies of the game to wait for MindsEye's day-one patch yester🙈day for some "key improvements." It had also been stated that the Xbox Series X|S day-one patch would be arriving "as soon as possible," seemingly delayed "due to varied platform certification," but that ended up arriving on time anyway. Even so, the patch clearly hasn't been able to solve all the game's problems.

I've seen from a pl🀅ayer claiming to have received a refund on PlayStation after having complained about MindsEye's performance, but it's not clear how widespread a situation this is yet. There's little doubt Build a Rocket Boy will have further things to say on the matter soon.

MindsEye continues to project confidence: ex-GTA 5 lead's new game is available physically, but the devs ask folks to delay streams until official launch time – meanwhile a 7-hour "100% walkthrough" is already on YouTube.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> A crossover between Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid is pretty unlikely. Hideo Kojima and Konami split on see༒mingly acrimonious terms, and we've only seen remakes and re-releases from the latter series for year𓆏s now.

Still, should it happen, Kojima has a notion about who'd manage the tricky job of being a porter the best. When asked by IGN during a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2 event who from the Metal Gear canon c♏ould make the jump over to delivering across the KNOTS, he named Dr. Hal 'Otacon' Emmerich, tech genius and Solid Snake's trusted friend.

"Maybe Otacon!⛄" Kojima laughs. "But he won't be able to carry things so much."

Sadly, he's probably right. Physical strength and endurance are necessary qualities for any good del🤡ivery person in the wasteland of Death Stranding, and Otacon doesn't appear to have much of either.

But, he's excellent and solving problems and knows a thing or two about improvising under pressure. Stuck somewhere with BTs hanging around, Otacon would find a 💖way to somehow escape without taking too much damage. Same for Demens, who'd probably beও left perplexed by some gadget or other by the military scientist.

Otacon is the kind of guy you want around in a pinch, even if he's not the person you’d like assigned to your delive💃ry. Unlike Sam Porter Bridges, Hal's backpack isn't getting too full. But maybe he's the sensible one in that regard, given how much of Death Stranding you spend picking up and re-Tetris-ing your own overfull pack of goods.

This is all extremely hypothetical, and the Death Stranding games aren't in need of the boost. The second, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, arrives on June 26, taking place predominantly in Mexico and Australia instead of the US. Aside from having whole other countrie𒉰s and continents to wander, Sam gets more hands on this time, helping communities he encounters in different ways.

As it's a Kojima Productions game, most narrative elements are protected through esoteric teases. There's a talking ventriloquist's dummy, though! Never change, Kojima. 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater comes out on August 28, 2025.

Hideo Kojima already has a Death Stranding 3 pitch that could relate to a DS2 plot device, but "I am not going to make it myself"

The long-awaited Metroidvania sequel did, however, briefly appear via gameplay footage shown on the newly announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ROG Xbox Ally, raising more than one eyebrow among the fa༺tigued Hollow Knight commu❀nity.

"I hear it's gonna play Silksong when it comes out🤡,🎃" Official Xbox Podcast host Jeff Rubenstein tells Spencer , rounding out a discussion on the Xbox Ally reveal.

"That's right, that's righඣt," Spencer begins. "Thank you. That was a good partnership, to kind of feed them in and have them ꩵplay a role in our hardware lineup."

Spencer stops the Silksong train then and there. Xbox has been burned on Silksong hype before, fa💛mously indicating three years ago that 𓂃the game would be out within a year, but has grown more reserved as Team Cherry𒉰's lips grew tighter and its development pipeline stretched eve🌼r longer.

The Silksong army, burrowing through even the thinnest Steam backend updates like termites through wood, has kept a close record of every tease, trace, and theory around, and a lot of them do orbit Xbox. I can't definitively say that Spencer spoke with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the expec🐭tations of the Skong faithful weighing on his nerves, but he was certainly quick to ✅talk about what are now the most commonplace games of all time instead.

"But it is really about playing the Windows games that you wanna play," he says of the Xbox Ally. "So if you're a big Roblox player, if you're a Fortnite p♊layer, if you're a Minecraft player, if you love Gam🌸e Pass, we want to make sure the way you've built your library as a player, and the games that you want to go play, are available on this device and that they play incredibly well."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Hideo Kojima's name is perhaps as synonymous with brill🔯iant game design as it is with his inventive, out-of-the-box thinking, and according to the man himself, the depths of his penchant for weirdness ꦦtruly knows no bounds.

Although pretty much all of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Kojima games we know about are characterized by some degree of defiance to conventional game design and storytel🎶ling, Kojima recently told he has even weirder ideas he wishes he could see through, but because he's become so personally involved with everyone at Kojima Productions, he won't dare try to follow up on all of them due to the potential for failure.

"I feel nervous. I feel rushed. I still have a lot of thi𒅌ngs I w🧔ant to do – that I need to do," Kojima said. "I thought I could do anything if I was independent, but the reality is that I can’t. I always think of other, more weird stuff to make. But if I do that, and it doesn’t sell, my studio will go bankrupt. I know all the staff. I know the families of the staff. I have this burden on my shoulders."

Kojima became seriously sick during the Covid-19 pandemic, and he's been candid about how the experience gave him a new perspective on mortality and the ways he feels he should spend his finite time in this realm. It's part of the reason he came up with the PS5 exclusive action-espionage game Physint, which back in May he said came about becaus𝄹e he "realized that a lot of people wanted 🔥me to make something like Metal Gear."

Thankfully, it does seem like going independent afforded Kojima just enough creative freedom to deliver on some pretty Kojima-coded visions, including Death Stranding, the upcoming 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the aforementioned Physint, and my personal most anticipated, "one of a kind" horror game, OD. Still, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious about w🍃hat even mo♋re experimental ideas he has floating around in his head.

Hideo Kojima shares the secrets behind his movie reviews, and it's adorably low-key: a Notes app filled with thumbs up and heart emojis

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> I'd like to start this 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ninja Gaiden 4 preview by recalling a story from my misspent youth. I know, I know; who cares – but stick with me here. Back in 2004, developer Team Ninja was entrusted with rebooting and reviving the Ninja Gaiden franchise. I was drawn to the blood and the brutality displayed in screenshots printed in glossy magazine spreads, and wanted to experience it for myself. I spent my allowance on renting the game for two days from Blockbuster. (For those of you under the age of 30, this is something we used to do in an era predating Steam sales, PlayStation Plus, and Game Pass). I was forced to return the game having never beaten Murai, the fi🍰rst boss. Embarrassing.

I tell you this now only because this the memory was prised from its vault by Masakazu Hirayama, producer and director at Team Ninja, and Yuji Nakao, producer and director at PlatinumGames, as the duo inquired about my history with the series, ahead of getting my hands-on with its first new mainline installment in a over a decade. The pa♍ir laughed, and told me to enjoy myself. By the end of the hour-long session, I was met with a round of applause from the development team. Also embarrassing.

Raining Blood

I later discovered that after a day of overseeing playtests, I was one of only a few players that day to best the demo's boss. I'm not surprised there was such a low-rate of completion, because Ninja Gaiden 4 is absolutely, gloriously brutal. A wondrous menagerie of blood, blades, and bastard-hard combat combat encounters. Still, my self-aggrandizing has a point here beyond mere ego-inflation: there's something so gratifying about seeing this series back 🅷to what appe𒉰ars to be its best.

When Ninja Gaiden launched as an Xbox exclusive two decades ago, it was among the most challenging, enthralling action games of its era. When FromSoftware's Demon's Souls landed five years later, everything changed. The way we understand and engage with difficulty in video games,🔴 altered forever. Hirayama-san tells me that Ninja Gaiden 4 is as much a pushback against this culture shift as it is an opportunity to bring about the long overdue return of a legendary franchise.

"The conversation around action games has changed quite a lot since the last Ninja Gaiden game. Soulslikes have taken center stage, but this is Ninja Gaiden. It's the first game in the series in over 10 years, and Ninja Gaiden is still all about high speed, pure action gameplay. So we are going against the trend in that way, all while injecting our own distinct game design sensibilities. This is a game from PlatinumGames – it has style, it's dynamic, and responsive. This is an evolution of what has come before, which was something we ha🐽ve been very deliberate about in this game."

"The conversation around action games has changed quite a lot since the last Ninja Gai♌den game"

Now, I shoul🐬d say that I have gone back to Ninja Gaiden (and the games which followed it) in the years since that disastrous weekend so long ago. And there are exceptionally simple things that Ninja Gaiden 4 accomplishes which reconnect me with Ryu Hayabusa's past adventures, even as a new protagonist ta🔴kes center stage here. There's satisfaction in chaining wall-jumps. A coolness inherent in the way bloodsplatter is flicked off from blades when young ninja Yakumo is left idle. Fun to be found in the total evisceration of enemy soldiers. Body bifurcation on an impossibly, implausibly-enjoyable scale.

Light Attack [X]. Heavy Attack [Y]. Two inputs which, when combined correctly, lead to total annihilation. There's an undoubtedly strong focus on first-party 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:upcoming Xbox Series X games for 2025 out there right now – Black Ops 7, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gears of War: Reloaded, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Grounded 2, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Outer Worlds 2, and Keeper. But there's a part of me that truly wond🧸ers whether Ninja Gaiden 4 is quietly the one t🉐o watch out for.

There's a simplicity inherent to its design ethos that I find compelling. A very real, very basic joy to be found in slicing waves of enemies apart limb-by-limb. And, really, what more could you want from a new Ninja Gaiden game in 2025? I just hope the final game comes packed with the sort of boss battles that have the power to ruin entire weekends when it launches on October 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Se♑ries X.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Fans of Hideo Kojima got a bit of a jumpscare today as his official Twit𓆏ter account shared a new interview titled "The life and death of Hideo Kojima," but rest assured, the Death Sꦛtranding and Metal Gear Solid mastermind is totally fine.

In the excellent new , Kojima gets deep as he discusses his fearꦆs about not having enough time in his life to create everything he wants🅘, with him saying: "What I am most afraid of is time. I am afraid of dying and having dementia. I am afraid of forgetting things when I get old. I am afraid that I won't even realize what I am forgetting."

The title makes a lot of sense, but without a caption or further elaboration from Kojima as he shared it, you can understand why a few people were caught off guarꦏd by his post. As one fan so eloquently , "my heart sank to my ass for a split second."

"Don't you ever scare me like this again," another begs, sharing a delightful edit of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2 protagonist Sam Po꧙rter Bridges giving Kojima a little kiss🔯 on the top of his head, which I've got to say has really amused me.

Seriously, though, it's hard not to feel for Kojima and his desperation to continue creating. He's spoken publicly before about how falling ill ♑during the COVID-19 pandemi♔c and then turning 60 changed his perspective on life, and reflecting on his health scare now, he says: "I fe⛦el nervous. I feel rushed. I still have a lot of things I want to do – that I needౠ to do."

Part of that is seemingly because of games taking so long to make,𒀰 as he says, "I'd feel more relieved if I could make a game in a year," explaining: "If you think about 10 years, you can do three games. You have to make a decision. You're always thinking, 'What is correct?'"

The good news for us (and seemingly, Kojima too) is that we don't have long to💖 wait now until his next game, with Death Stranding 2 set to launch on PS5 on June 26.

Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima is passing ideas onto his staff for after he dies, but he doesn't want them to copy him, because they "will go out of business": "I am not going to pass the baton to anyone"

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Today is the day – MindsEye, the latest game from GTA 5 veteran Leslie Benzi𓄧es, is here, but following a series of bizarre circumstances leading up to its launch, including the devs now asking streamers to hold off from streaming the game for a f🐠ew more hours, the vibes are a bit weird, to say the least.

Last month, some MindsEye previews from content creators surfaced online, and not everyone was full of praise for it, with complaints about bugs, a lack of depth in the game's combat system, and more. This prompted one exec at the studio to proclaim that "there is a concerted effort by some people that don't want to see Leslie [Benzies] or Build A Rocket Boy to be successful that are making a concerted effort to trash the game and the studio." A bit of a bold claim, to put it lightly.

The situation then became more concerning still last week, when two different studio execs confirmed that they'd left Build a Rocket Boy, just a week before MindsEye was set to launch. This…💯 didn't sound promising at all. Combined with a statement from the devs telling those who'd managed to get hold of physical copies ahead of launch that they'd really rather them wait "until the official release date" to play, highlighting "a major update" coming at launch to bring "key improvements to ensure MindsEye plays as we intended," things were sounding a little shaky, to say the least.

That same day-one update "we highly recommend installing," it should be noted, is already delayed on Xbox Series X|S, as the devs yesterday that "due to varied platform certification, Update 2 will be made available on Xbox as soon as possible." And now, it's been that the official Mᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚindsEye Twitch channel has been hopping into streams of the game today, politely asking streamers if they'd mind stopping what they're doi𓂃ng and coming back later.

"Hey! This is the MindsEye team," one such message reads. "The game officially is avai﷽lable later (6pm UK time) and Twitch is pausing early streams until then🅠. If you can save this for later, it would be great. Thanks for your support."

This particular message was sent to Twitch content creator mrrespe𒐪cto_, who to say that "I'm in Australia, so the official release day is today. So they can't stop my stream."

It's worth noting that on the official MindsEye release schedule map, the release date for Australia is actually June 11, with ♚it set to launch in Sydney, for example, at 3am local time. It's at this time that the game is set to unlock on Steam and on digital platforms, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's when the day-one patch will be available, too (unless you're on Xbox, that is).

MindsEye

(Image credit: Build A Rocket Boy)

However, it's still a bizarre situation, given that it's release day in most countries right now, and has been for hours, with physical copies in stores and ready to buy. In the UK, for example, anyone could walk into a game store to buy it right now, but it would seem they'd still be asked not to stream it online for a couple more hours. None of thꦏis screams confidence.

We reached out to publisher IO Interactive to ask why this decision has been made, but 🍌we haven't received a🐭 response.

For what it's worth, any effort to keep streamers and content creators at bay doesn't seem to have been very effective, either. At the time of writing on Twitch, there are 15 ongoinಌg live streams of the game, while on YouTube, one channel by the name of wolker4 has uploaded what's apparently a , which you can watch in a 🐟single seven-hour sitting. I can't imagine the team at Build a Rocket Boy is too pleased about that.

GTA 5 dev says his new open-world game is 20 hours of no-filler content at a now-quaint $60 because players "worried about the price of eggs" want "value for money."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Mere weeks away from 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Hideo Kojima has spoken about his legacy. Now 61, he’s been making video games for 40 years, and thꦬough🌳 he expects Kojima Productions to live on without him, he doesn’t want the team to approach things the same after he's retired.

The topic came up durin🧔g a wide-ranging interview with , where Kojima addressed being in the twilight of his career. The Metal Gear Solid creator still has plenty of ideas, but when someone else is in charge, he'd rather they serve as inspiration than become an MO.

"I am not going to pass the baton to anyone. I ☂will rather crush the baton," he laughs. "I don't need to give ‘Hideo Kojima’ to anyone. If I pass the baton to my staff and🅘 tell them to make things the same way I do, the company will not succeed and will go out of business."

He elaborates by explaining that creators often contact him to explain how his work impacted their li💎ves. He wants to inspire his team members in the same way,🌌 igniting their passion and creative flow.

"They say, 'I'm a creator because of your games.’ But they didn't receive the baton of Hideo Kojima," he states. "They received my small fire. Th♔ey're not copying me. They'൩re not trying to be me. They have this fire, and they light up their own. And they'll probably give that to someone else."

It sounds like🌳 whatever unfinished work he leaves at his company will be just another resource, something to tap into, but not an outright guideline. His position is admirable and remarkably forward-thinking.

Kojima Productions has finished two games thus far, both Death Stranding installments. Two more are in the pipeline: OD, a horror project for Xbox, and Physint, 🐟another Sony production. Besides those, Kojima intends to direct a m🌼ovie, a longtime aspiration of his.

Whatever you think ꩵof his work, anything with his name tends to stand on its own and get people talkingꦗ, and his comments suggest he wants his company always to operate that way.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Nintendo has announced Splatoon Raiders – the series' first spin-off game and a Nintendo 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Switch 2 exclusive.

For those of you who actually check the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Today app for your dail🅠y Pikmin comic or piece of old Mario concept art to pop up will be surprised to see that Nintendo has actually used the app for its intended use by randomly announcing a brand new Splatoon 🎃game exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, titled Splatoon Raiders. Nintendo has also posted the video on YouTube for those without the app to enjoy.

We got a tiny trailer showing the storyline, which involves your player-made Inkling mechanic as you go on an adventure on the "Spiralite Islands" alongside the Splatoon 3 hosts D💎eep Cut (including the legend, Big Man). We only got a very brief glimpse of gameplay, but it almost looks like a survival🔴 and base-building game set on a deserted island.

Nintendo didn'tജ give a release date or even a release window, but we'll presumab🧸ly find out more about it in the next Nintendo Direct. Considering a Direct event has happened in June almost every year since 2012, I'd say that's probably pretty soon.

Nintendo also confirmed Splatoon 3 update V.10.0.0 is coming on June 12. This update introduces 30 new weapon kits in the Splatlands collection, which won't introduce any new weapons but remixed versions of previou🍬s ones, including ones that hold different♏ subweapons. The max Freshness cap for each weapon has been raised too. Not only that, but the fan-favorite Urchin Underpass stage from the original Splatoon is returning with the new update.

But perhaps more importantly, Splatoon 3 update V.10.0.0 introduces performance and visual improvements for the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo reaffirms that despite these upgrades, Nintendo Switch players will still be able to battle Switch 2 players without any issue (presumably that bug that gives Switch 2 players an advantage is gone too, in that case).

Mario Kart World players have found the optimal way to unlock every vehicle, and it involves driving slowly behind a pedestrian car for 25 minutes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:IO Interactive, the studio behind the acclaimed Hitman series, has opened up about the very different approach it's taking with its next big title: 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007 First Light. If you’re ex🍌pecting a straightforward reskin of Agent 47 in a tuxedo, think again.

Speaking with , art director Rasmus Poulsen is keen to draw a clear line between the developer's infamous bald assassin and the world’s most famous secret agent. “If Hitman is a single-minded killer and basically𒉰 the bad guy of the game,” Poulsen says, “Bond is the hero.” It’s a surprisingly candid statement, especially from a studio best known for letting pl𝔉ayers think like a villain.

This shift in perspectꦇive is shaping every layer of the new game. “That means we are much more focused on his journey as a character, and we are much more focused on saving the world,” Poulsen explains. In other words, don’t expect Bond to blend into the background or play puppet to the player’s every whim. 007 First Light aims to provide a more cinematic, character-driven experience. Something that puts Bond’s story and personality front and centre.

IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak hammered home that point directly by comparing the two iconic characters. While Agent 47 has always been something of a blank slate, an “empty shell,” as Abrak describes him, James Bo✅nd “is very much a personality.”

What does this mean in practice? While IO’s Hitman games thrive on cold efficiency and creative sandbox mayhem, 007 First Light looks set to offer a completely different kind of power fantasy. Bond isn’t just a tool. He’s a♛ hero with opinions♔, emotions, and a world to save.

For fans, this is a promise of a Bond game that goes beyond🀅 the gadgets and the glamour. IO Interactive wants to explore what makes James Bond tick, what drives him to risk everything, and what it actually means to be the hero rather than the anti-hero. If they pull it off, 007 First Light could be the fresh take the Bond franchise has been missing for years.

007: First Light is pla☂nned for sometime in 2026, and it’s clear that IO Interactive is set on giving players a fresh spin on the Bond formula. Rather than simply ticking off classic spy tropes, the team wants to dig into what really makes Bond a hero. If they succeed, fans could be in for a much deeper, more personal t💯ake on the iconic secret agent.

007: First Light isn't an Uncharted-style action game, but it's not just another Hitman game either: "We are leaning a lot on what IOI does best."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Now that season 3 of the TV show is on the way, we’re all waiting to see if Naughty Dog decides to make The Last of Us 3. Neil Druckmann has ideas for another installment,🌃 and the HBO adaptation’s showrunner, Craig Mazin, knows what they are, but he’s staying coy about the possibilities.

Speaking to BAFTA on the back of the third season, Mazin was asked abou𓃲t where Druckmann's at in terms of Part 3. He revealed it's all in discussion, though whether any decisions have been made is beyond him at present.

"I am familiar w🐼ith some concepts that Neil has kicked around for a potential third game. I don't know if he's zeroed in on one of them," he explains, adding that although he'd like Part 3 to happen, he also thinks maybe less is more. "Sometimes I think, mayb✨e you should just be happy. Don't be sad it's over, be happy that it happened at all!"

He goes on to gush over Naughty Dog's abilities as a stu๊dio, especially in regards to narrative work. Between Uncharted and The Last of Us, the outfit is a standard-bearer for engrossing, cinematic games, each of the latter's two installments so far hitting especially hard.

Druckmann himself has gone back and forth on the status of another chapter. He mentioned during Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us Part 2 that there's "probably" one more outing for Joel and Ellie. However, in March of this year, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:he told people not to expect Part 3 and suggested that the HBO😼 show might be where ﷽The Last of Us concludes completely.

As strong as the desire for another chapter of The Last of Us is, Part 2 gave us a neat ending, and perhaps we should be satisfied with that. Naughty Dog has already teed up its next venture with 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, a cosmic p🌃roject centered around a bountཧy hunter millennia from now.

Honestly, the premise of Intergalactic suggests the development team would like to get away from Earth, Nathan Drake, and the Cordyceps for a while. Mazin adds he'll be there to play whatever Naughty Dog puts on shelves. "I'll be there on day one to play Intergalactic. If there's another Uncharted, I'll ဣplay it. If there's another Last of Us, I'll play it," he finishes.

Our guide on 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:The Last of Us season 3 will keep you informed on when you might see that crawl onto our screens.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Between titles like Streets of Rage 4, Cadence of Hyrule, and The Rogue Prince of Persia, we're starting to see more and more indie studios get a crack at building new entries in venerable franchises. I was already on board for this trend, but an hour with Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound h𓂃as convinced me that it's🌠 the absolute best thing happening in video games today.

I always hesitate to put this kind of hyperbole in a preview piece, but Ninja Gaiden: Rag🎀ebound is simply awesome. Drop in the caveat here that the full game might have some fatal flaw that drags the whole thing down, but through four levels from across various sections of the game, I've been absolutely hooked.

Maybe it shouldn't be a surprise to say that the devs at The Game Kitchen, the studio behind the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: best Metroidvania games out there in the Blasphemous series, have created an excellent 2D action game. But Ragebound manages the rare achievement of keeping the spirit of the legendarily tough-as-nails Ninja Gaiden series alive while giving us something that🧔 still feels fresh and exciting in 2025.

Key Info

Developer: The Game Kitchen
Publisher: Dotemu
Platform(s): PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Switch
Release date: July 31, 2025

The first thing you'll notice about Ragebound is how good it looks. The game mimics the cinematic cutscene style of the original NES games, but with striking modern pixel art. The 2D action stages are similarly impressive, most of all for the tremendous variety of animations you'll see. Did the tutorial mission need custom art to show longtime series protagonist Ry🐷u Hyabusa opening a letter or viciously piledriving🐬 you into the floor when you fail to defeat him in combat? No, but the sheer spectacle is certainly appreciated.

You pl𓃲ay as Kenji Muzo, an apprentice to Ryu who's left behind to deal with a demonic invasion all on his own. The plot likely won't be the main draw here, but snappy dialog offers some nice context to the stages – and gives The Game Kitchen opportunity to continue building on the uneasy religious themes the studio keeps coming back to as Kenji builds an uneasy alliance with the assassin Kumori, who can commune with the demon realm.

Kenji has the abilities you'd expect from the protagonist of a 2D Ninja Gaiden game, with wall-climbing, ceiling-crawling, and sword-slashing all on the menu. It all feels excellent, from the sticky wall-jump to the exact reach of your blade, but the best part is the double-jump – which you can only activate by simultaneously attacking a midair enemy, projectile, or object. If you've played The Messenger, an excellent but unlicensed indie take on Ninja Gaiden, you'll feel right at home with this jump mechanic, but it's a bit streamlined and feels even better🔯 here.

Kumori serves as a sort of sidekick – the Kazooie to Kenji's Banjo. Once she joins up with Kenji partway through the game, you can use her to send out various subweapon attacks, like straightline throwing knives or big, arcing axe throws. They're very reminiscent of classic Castlevania subweapons, espe🌺cially in how they're governed by a limited resource bar, which here you refill by killing enemies.

Ryu the day

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound

The final big wrinkle here is the hyper charge mechanic. Certain enemies will enter the field encased in a colore✱d light, and if you kill them with an appropriate attack – blue for melee, or purple for ranged – you'll be empowered with a supercharge that can instantly kill even the toughest foes. Most of the monsters go down in one or two hits, but some big baddies are either armored or can take a good half-dozen strikes to defeat.

You're encouraged, then, to wait a second or two before engaging the enemy, looking for the enemies you can use to build a hyper charge, and chaining between them to sli♛ce through the field in seconds. Like the NES games, it rewards you for memorizing the optimal path through each encounter, but if you make a few kills in the wrong order, it's not the end of the world, as it'll just take a little extra effort to clear the eജncounter.

Ragebound is challenging, but it's not brutal the way its predecessors could often be. Th▨at's largely thanks to the regular checkpoints positioned throughout each stage, which makes retrying the hard parts a snap. If you die, that just means an opportunity to do better next💝 time, and the controls are so precise that locking in that kind of mastery feels incredible.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound

"You can immediately picture how wi𝐆ld the speedruns are going ꧃to look."

Take the game's first boss for example, a dragon-like demon creature who kept catching me out after his big charge mov✤e, when he'd toss a couple of molten fireballs out that happen to land right at the inconvenient edge of the range of my invincible dodge roll. Every time I got hit, it was clear what I was doing wrong. I died twice trying to beat him, but on the third attempt I killed him without even taking a ൩hit.

You can play pretty sloppily and still get through a stage, but Ragebound challenges you to do better with bonus objectives for doing things like killing enemies with certain types of attacks or clearing a stage without dying. There are also collectibles to find, and many of these mechanics tie into some sort of upgrade system that wasn't available in the demo. I can already see myself running these stages ൲over and over to perfect them before moving on once the final game hits, though.

Ragebound's ability to inspire that chase for perfection is probably the greatest illustration of what it൩'s doi𒉰ng right. It's challenging enough that no encounter is a cakewalk, but it always feels downright obvious how you could've done it better. It's the kind of game where you can immediately picture how wild the speedruns are going to look – a carefully choreographed and very violent dance. I can't wait to play more.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Gears of War: Reloaded is no longer coming out in Japan for the PS5 due to "regional rating restrictions and platform policies," despite the Xbox an▨d PC versions still being released on August 26.

Gears of War is getting its second remaster very soon, with the big gimmick this time around being that the game is finally making the jump away from Xbox and letting PlayStation players in on the fun (with a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:bunch of betas coming bef🐠ore it launches on August 26). However, in Japan – where PlayStation has always been significantly more popular – the game will only be releasing on Xbox and PC.

This was announced on a post (spotted and translated by , and verifie♌d using machine translation), in a post which explains the game won't be releasing on the platform due to "regional rating restrictions and platform policies."

While Japanese players are advised that they'll still be able to play the game at launch 🔯on Steam🐬, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass, an apology has been issued for anyone inconvenienced by the PS5 version not releasing.

While not as eager to ban games as some countries, Japan has previously banned games with copious amounts of gore like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:2022's The Callisto Protocol and the Dead Space Remake. Plus 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Assassin's Creed Shadows was censored in th𝕴e country, with the dismemberment toned down vastly (which seems to be a sticking point given that Dead Space is all about t🃏he dismemberment).

Automaton mentions that the original release of Gears of War in 2006 did in fact release in a censored state, with some scenes dep🍌icting severed limbs being affected.

The post doesn't specify why only the PS5 version is affected when the game is presumably the same across both platforms, so I'm assuming that the "platform policies" section is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.

We saw some more of Gears of War: Reloaded at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest this year, making an appearance during the Xbox Games Showcase.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> I don't mean to alarm you, 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Hollow Knight: Silksong fans, but it turns out that we may have got a bit more information about the long-awaited Metroidvania sequel than it first appeared following the Xbox Games Showcase, with Team Cherry confirming it's actually ♉planned to release before the holiday season.

Although Silksong didn't get a proper trailer during the showcase, it was briefly shown as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox revealed its two new handhelds, along with the mention that Silksong "will be available at launch when the Ally releases later this year." The two handhelds are set to launch this holiday season (as in, near Christmas) in select markets, but we can actually expect Silksong to ar😼rive sooner.

As spotted by Twitter user Daily Silksong News (someone who'll no doubt be pleased to actually have some new information to feast on, and good for them), Matthew "Leth" Griffin, a marketing and publishing employee at Hollow Knight studio Team Cherry, : "I confirmed BEFORE Holiday – we are🅠 not tied to a console release." A further message𝐆 clarifies that Griffin is indeed referring to "Christmas, yes."

Griffin also made this same 💮point during the Xbox Games Showcase livestream, according to a chat screenshot from , likely captured before being drowneꦓd out by a flurry of fans chanting "SKONG."

There's still no fu🌠ll release date to be seen, but folks, it feels closer than ever. Hang iಌn there.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ninja Gaiden 4 producer and director Yuji Nakao misses "classic" action games that seem to be all too rare nowadays, especially in an era where Soulslikes are all the rage, but he's also happy to be reviving the action-slasher subgeꩵnre with the upcoming fourquel.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is the first game in the brutally tough, spectacle fighting series in about 13 years, and a lot has changed since Ryu was last stabbing foes. The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Game Showcase 2025 gave us just a brief new look at Ninj☂a Gaiden 4's updated formula, alongside an October 21, 2025 release date.

"When PlatinumGames speaks to Team Ninja about this next Ninja Gaiden, we often joke that 'we've made something that really doesn't feel like a modern game—it's just too hard,'" Nakao joked in a chat with . "These days, games are trending toward bei♉ng easier to play, but Ninja Gaiden 4 goes in the complete opposite♓ direction. So don't lose heart!"

Elsewhere in the interview, the lead developer reminisced about growing up during "the golden age" of classic action games that are now a rare sight. "For people of my generation, it feels like the types of games we grew up playingꦆ have become a lot less common in recent years. Instead, we've seen the rise of Soulslike games, which have certainly become very popular."

Not wanting to give anyone the wrong impression, Nakao notes that he's also a fan of your Dark Soulses a🌳nd Dark Souls-like games. They're good fun. Still, he can't help but feel that a certain type of action got left behind. And the glut of Soulslikes revealed at Summer Game Fℱest so far is only backing him up.

"M♕aybe it's just my own wishful thinking, but I can'💝t help but feel that a lot of action game fans are starting to crave that experience again," he continued.

"Isn't it about time we all dove back in? I really feel like Ninja Gaiden 4 has turned out to be the kind of game that could strike a chord with those fans 🌱of the genre. If it could carve out its place in the history of modern slash-action, and as a new benchmark 🅘for the genre, I'd be thrilled. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> The Coalition has confirmed that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Gears of War: E-Day will be released in 2026.

The news came following the Xbox Games Showcase in an , where the d✅eveloper also gave a first look at Gears of♑ War: Reloaded in action.

The pairing makes for a compelling anniversary celebration for the Gears of War franchise, which debuted back in 2006 on Xbox 360. Reloaded is set to launch on August 26, 2025, and marks the ဣfirst time the series has landed on a PlayStation platform. It's shaping up to be a pretty dazzling remaster of the 2015 remake of the original game, and should be considered essential ahead of E-Day.

That's because Gears of War: E-Day is a prequel, tracking the events of the original Emergence Day – often referred to by characters in the series, but never properly detailed. E-Day is when the Locust initiated a planet-wide assault on the surface of Sera, 🎀and the 2026 prequel will let us🐼 experience the horrors firsthand. This origin story will delve into the early life of protagonist Marcus Fenix, detail the making of the Lancer, and reunite us with Marcus' bestie, Dom Santiago.

Xbox has yet to set a firm 2026 release date for Gears of War: E-Day, but we do know that it'll land on PC, Xbox Series X, and will be available on day one through Game Pass Ultimate. There is no word yet on whe💧ther E-Day will follow Reloaded onto the PS5, although it would be a safe bet to assume that it will eventually.

Xbox Games Showcase 2025 needs to build on Microsoft's momentum, but it may need to go beyond The Outer Worlds 2 to pull it off.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Thunder Lotus, the indie studio behind melancholy management sim Spir꧑itfarer and the fantastic co-op epic 33 Immortals, just announced a brand-new game: At Fate's End.

Revealed at the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase 2025, At Fate's End is a gorgeous side-scrolling action-adventure game where you "fight the ones you love," and it's coming to PC,🍃 Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 ne🐟xt year.

The game has a similarly jaw-dr🔥opping art style as Thunder Lotus' other titles – this time, with a seemingly hand-drawn 2D comic look – but the developer is jumping to yet another genre.

The trailer above puts a lot of emphasis on At Fate's End's frantic platforming combat, which sees you zipping across the battlefield to dodge projectiles, side-step massive lightning blasts,♓ and lock swords with your foes/family in what looks like mostly one-to-one battles.

"Wield the legendary God Sword Aesus as Shan, the deft young heiress 🦹of the Hemlock clan. Explore a lush, hand-crafted fantasy world," the game's description reads. "Defeat the foul creatures of the realm in combat. Solve intricate narrative puzzles, uncover painful truths, and hone both your blade skills and knowledge to face you🌠r estranged siblings in intense, emotional duels – and ultimately decide your family's fate."

Alongside epic, violent confrontations, you'll also be dueling your siblings with words. A sharp tongue and carefully chosen dialogue will apparently be just as 🔯important as your twitch reflexes if you hope to gain the upper ha𝓡nd.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Mainline Pokemon developer Game Freak just lifted the lid on i🦄ts action-adventure blockbuster, Beast of Reincarnation, which is coming out next year.

Just revealed at the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase 2025, Beast of Reincarnation 🍨takes place in the far, far future of 4026, in an era where humanity is all but extinct - massive fantasy beasties, corrupt automatons, and dangerous꧂ plant-based creatures now roam the land.

But our main protag (and her gorgeous wolf friend) has the skills to protect herself, at least. The brief looks at action place Beast of Reincarnation somewhere between Sekiro and 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nier Automata. Plenty of feisty, parry-focused sword swinging, with a dash of acrobatic m🌟ovement.

Oh, and those massive boss fights? 2026 can't come soon enough, which is exactly when Beast of Reincarnation is d🌳ue to launch for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

You might remember Beast of Reincarnation was first announced, very early, in 2023 as Project Bloom. At t🌠he time, Game Freak said the game was "bold and tonally different from our prior work." That's very evident from the dire, speedy trailer above.

"In post-apocal꧋yptic Japan, a land ruined by corruption and crawling with monstrous beasts, humanity’s last hope may rest with Emma—an outcast cursed as a Blighted One—and Koo, her loyal canine companion," the trailer's description reads. "Survive a journey across an ominous, ever-changing world where dangerous forests can erupt in the wasteland."

"Explore what꧃ it means to be human in Beast of Reincarnation, an expansive one♒-person, one-dog action RPG built around demanding, technical combat."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> The 🅺澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Indiana Jones and the Great Circle DLC will release this year on September 4 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft revealed today during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase 2025.

Previously announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:last summer, the Order of Giants DLC promises more catacomb-diving and treasure-stea♈ling with the intrepid Indy, though publisher Bethesda hasn't elaborated on many of its specifics before 💯today.

But the teaser trailer that accompanied Order of Giants' release date announcement during the Xbox Games Show🐽case offers a blink-of-an-eye – but still comprehensive – preview of what the DLC entails.

"A new adventure begins..." promises the trailer. Indy himself doesn't sound thrilled about it. We watch him trod the cobblestone streets of Italy, where he declares, "This is where it starts."

"Beneath the streets of Rome," he continues, "enter the city of Antioch." There, between stone statues of saints and old sepulchers, you'll have to find the "secret relic," Indy says, quite unhelpfully. "Bring it back to the Holy See. Defend the secret." Is it possible that Indy has somehow discovered the a𒁏ncient origins of Catholic guilt? Take a look at the trailer below if you need help deciding.

I don't think so, though. This DLC is proudly about the N🐓ephilim Order, or Giants, who Indy reveals by torchlight to be the behemoth subjects of those stone statues I mentioned earlier – not the Catholic saints. It seems that a blasphemous group of hooded strangers are still down in Antioch with you, worshipping the Giants..♏. and they probably won't let you walk among them without a struggle.

"Fate Of Atlantis felt like the movie we never got," says Indiana Jones and The Great Circle producer as devs reflect on the series' gaming legacy: "It really captured the spirit of the movies that came before it."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Ninja Gaiden 4 is finally set to launch on October 21, 2025, marking the end of a 13-year wait that kicked off with the release of Ninja Gaiden 3 in 2012. The news was announced as part of today's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, and came alongside a new trailer for the game.

As an Xbox Game Studios-published title, Ninja Gaiden 4 will launch into Xbox Game Pass 📖for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it'll also be available day one on PS5.

Ninja Gaid♕en 4 director and pཧroducer Yuji Nakao discussed the game's ambitions in .

"This game offers a lot of new things you can do — that’s one of its major appeals," he said. "We’ve paid special attention to thಞe depth, range, and expansiveness of play, and especially to the techniques that can be elevated based on a player’s skill level."

That expansiveness seems to manifest in a few ways. New protagonist Yakumo can sprint along walls and use the "Flying Bird Flip" to quickly cover ground vertically. Combat techniques include "F💟atal Flash," letting you "match your attack with the enemy's attack" to create Blood Essenไce that fuels stronger, Ultimate Technique moves.

Yakumo also has an entirely new playable form, Bloodraven. You can fight in this state, with a new parry-type counter and guard piercing attack tied to it, but Nakao says "it's a technꦫique best used to pause in invincibility and observe enemy movements."

"You’ll naturally begin to notice opportunities where weaving Bloodraven Form techniques into your established strategies eꩵnhances your experience," Nakao adds. "The game is structured to encourage this kind of realizati♌on, adaptation, and growth."

Touching on the long-awaited return of Ninja Gaiden, Nako says "we often🌸 joke that 'we’ve made somethin⛎g that really doesn’t feel like a modern game—it’s just too hard. These days, games are trending toward being easier to play, but Ninja Gaiden 4 goes in the complete opposite direction. So don’t lose heart!"

Separate🔯 from Bloodraven, Yakumo❀ has a Berserk Gauge that fills when you deal and take damage, unlocking yet more moves like Bloodbath Kills. Additionally, weapons have their own unique skills, so you'll expand your arsenal as you find more loot. I'm especially intrigued by this Caddis Wire grappling hook gizmo, and I'm hoping it can be used in combat as well.

Silksong was all over Xbox's handheld trailer during the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Xbox Games Showcase, undoubtedly offering up assumptions that a release date might be incoming🅷. And indeed, Xbox has tried to narrow down its launch window, with company president Sarah Bond suggesting ꦜthat Silksong would be available on the ROG Xbox Ally X at launch later this year.

Unfortunately, Bond didn't actually tell us when the Xbox handheld was releasing, which means that while she's attempted to narrow down the metroidvania's release date, we still don't actually know what date she's referring to. Also, we've heard something like this before - back in 2022, Xbox said that Silksong would, like all the other gameওs at its showcase that year, be playable within the next 12 months. Clearly, that has not happened.

While it's better news than absolutely nothing, it's not exactly the release date that players were hoping for. <![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Colorful third-person shooter Splatoon 3 wasn't one of the OG Switch games to receive a Switch 2 update like 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and although players have identified many games ꦉrunning better on the new console without a patch, squid fans have found a bizarre﷽ Switch 2-exclusive bug that's giving them an adꦯvantage.

As discovered by and further highlighted by OatmealDom🦩e on Twitter, Switch 2 Splatoon 3 players can currently take advantage of a "GAME-BREAKING BUG" that lets them "SQUID ROLL ANYWHERE LOL."

"Game breaking" is a bit of an exaggeration, but this is💫 still a pretty big deal. Squid Rolling is a movement mechanic introduced in the third Splatoon game, which allows you to quickly twirl out of your ink to change direction. It briefly reduces damage taken, and can be used to 🐻dodge certain attacks, retreat from danger, or otherwise reposition yourself.

But, again, the idea is that you're only meant to be able to do this if the surface you're on is covered in your own ink. If you're in the middle of enemy territory and are getting shot with their ink, chances are you won't be able to roll out of danger quite so effectively. Or at least, you can't on the Switch 1 version – on Switch 2, players have now reported being able to Squid Roll on un-inked surf☂aces, as well as on enemy ink. Needless to say, this could give Switch 2 players a huge advantage if used well.

How does something like this happen when the game hasn't been updated, though? That's still not known for sure, but OatꦇmealDome has shared some speculation. "This might be an issue with Switch 1 GPU emulation/translation, since Splatoon games have had issues with ink detection in unofficial emulators due to bugs in their GPU emulation," they suggest.

It seems🥀 unlikely that Nintendo is going to let 🌜this one stand, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see a patch soon to correct this. In the meantime, though, that the shooter is currently "pay to win."

Step aside, Super Horn: Mario Kart World's "exploitable" new Rewind feature is the best way to dodge blue shells in single-player or bring the CPU racers down with you.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light devs chose an origin story in part because it allowed for a "more relatable" Bond for the potentially "younger audience" than might turn out for the fi💮lms.

Speaking to GamesRadar+ at Summer Game Fest, 007 franchise direct💛or Jonathan Lacaille said that developer IO Interactive found the chance to set a story in a period of Bond's life that's "not been covered much," to be "the exciting part" of the project.

"We have a story to tell that people are probably very curious to find out," he says. "What are the events and the people that shaped the character [James Bond💙] is today? Was he always the womanizer that he is, or the strong man that he is?"

First Light, which sees James B𓄧ond operating before🌳 he's earned his iconic '00' status, features the character long before he becomes the "established legend" that we know him as. That means, Lacaille says, that "there's a lot of youth in him, so maybe some recklessness at times. And he has a lot of charm, but he doesn't know how to use it yet. He's maybe not as efficient as a [later] Bond would be."

That decision, however, is by design. Lacaille says that a clumsier Bond might be a moreꦚ relatable Bond, particularly for a gaming audience that is "a younger audience, maybe, than the Bond franchise is used to." That piece of demographic profil♏ing is a big part of why IO chose an origin story - "it's a new story to tell, and also a story that would connect really well."

That does come with its downsides. There's a lot of creative freedom attached to telling a whole new story, "but at the same time, you have a lot of creative freedom so you have to come up with everything." Lacaillಞe reasserts that First Light "is not an adaptation or anything [...] but that's what will allow us to make a great game, because then we have a lot of freedom that will fit with the gameplay mechanics."

All that freedom, he says, has also come with the benefit of being able to make the game relatively fast. Now scheduled for a release next year after a lengthy period of near silence, it seems tha𝓡t IO is moving faster than I, at least, had anticipated. Lacaille, however, says that the game is "well-advanced since we've announced it," and "feels fantastic," which suggests that the team has been very busy behind the scenes.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> During 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025, Like a Dragon developer⛄ RGG fully lifted the lid on its mysterious Project Century game, revealing its official title to be Stranger ꧋Than Heaven.

I'm proudly among the contingent of RGG fans that would gladly take another Judgment game ov♎er Like a Dragon. Don't get me wrong, I love Nancy the Crawfish as much as the next guy and the mainline Yakuza series' antics are endlessly amusing, but I find them just a little bit bloated – particularly 2024's Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. I also prefe𝔍r the darker, grittier nature of the Judgment games' worlds and storytelling.

Maybe that's why I'm so attracted to Stranger Than Heaven, aside from the fact that it's literally about a detecti𓂃ve, although I'd still prefer to see what Takayuki Yagami🍒 has been up to since 2021's Lost Judgment.

Anyway, I digress. The new 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Stranger Than Heaven trailer doesn't actually reveal a whole lot about the game other than 🅷its title, but we once again get to see protagonist Mako Daito roam around a bustling Japanese city busting bad guys in a fashion much more violent than you'd expect from an RGG game.

Whereas 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the first trailer took us back to 1915 Japan, this new one takes place in 1943, 🐽suggesting the Project Century codename was more than just a throwaway title.

I'm really into the game's jazzy vibe throughout the trailer. A brassy quintet opens the scene with a sultry number that intensifies with the action scenes, and it really sets the tone for an LA Noire type detective story that I could see my🔜self becoming very, very invested in.

Anyway, this is all to say: Stranger Than Heaven is no Judgment, and maybe that's OK, because what it looks like is a🀅 game wearing vaguely similar clothes but with completely different mechanics, physics, and world design that could be an exciting new 💫direction for RGG.

In the meantime, here are the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best Yakuza games to play right now.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> While there's still no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:release date for Gears of War:♑ E-Day, series creator Cliff Bleszinski has decided now is the time to🅘 just let it all hang loose and reveal he kind of winged it with some of that Locust and Riftworm stuff. , Bleszinski shared that a major showdown🌟 in Gears of War 3 kind of... makes no sense.

In Gears of War, the Locust Horde are mutated humanoids, the result of genetic experiments, and develop their own governing society. This also included a religion known as the Trinity of Worms which worshipped the Riftworms, giant, 10-mile-long worms which created the Hollow, where the Locust reside. Despite the rich lore surrounding the Riftw𝓰orms and their relation to the Locust, it turns out some stuff was left blankℱ.

During Gears of War 3, one Locust known as Ketor Skorge, awoke a Riftworm to be used as a weapon of mass destruction in their war against the humans. There's just a tiny detail missing ♌from the fact that Skorge was able to command the Riftworm at will: Bleszinski has no idea how he did it.

According to💦 his tweet, Bleszinski has no explaꦰnation for how the Locust "got control of the Riftworm in the first place, and two: how they guided it to their desired target."

While sharin🧸g his retrospection, Bleszinski defends his lack of explanation with a simple idea that some gamers can get behind, while others will demand answers for: "Sometimes ya just put stuff in a game you think is cool. You don't have to fully explain everything; let 'em wonder."

The only issue now is that regardless of how much ꦑGears of War fans "wonder," they'll know in their heart of hearts that even the creator does🌠n't have a clue.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> A new murder mystery social deduction game, which is being developed in collaboration with Square Enix, has been unveiled during tonight's 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest live stream, and it looks like it'll offer a unique and more Hitman-style action-c✨entric twist on the Among Us-style gamep🅘lay we know and love, for 24 players.

Titled Killer Inn, the game is being developed by Tactic Studios in collaboration with both Square Enix and TBS G⛄ames, and dare I say it, at first blush, it does sound very much like Among Us, admittedly without the colorful little fellas running around and jumping in vents.

Rather than crewmates and imposters, the trailer refers to players as Lambs and Wolves, and the game sees the Lambs working together to try to figure out and kill the murderers, uh, among them. Lambs win if they successfully take out every Wolf (players will be out themselves if they try harming a fellow Lamb), whereas Wolvꦺes win if they slay every Lamb without getting caught.

Spicing up this formula, there are quests to complete, and different items like armor and weapons to collect and use. What's more, when someone is murdered, physical evidence will be left ꦍbehind by their killer, helping the Lambs narrow down their suspects without even witnes⛦sing any deaths happen.

Clearly, social deducti🅰on is going to play a massive part in all this, but it doesn't seem like people will be able to simply bluff their way to a win w💖hen there'll be actual clues to point to.

Anyway, it sounds l🧔ike we won't have to wait too long to give it a go, as a closed beta for Killer Inn is coming soon to Steam.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> For Atomic Heart, the five-year journey from announcement༺ to launch was a rollercoaster.

In its earliest days, prospective fans were enamored with its Soviet BioShock-esque premise, with one combat trailer alone racking up nearly eight million views. Anticipation was sky-high by launch, yet its reception in 2023 was ultimately more polarizing – we scored it 2.5 in our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Atomic Heart review. That didn't stop the game from becoming a commercial success for first-time developer Mundfish, though, and just l🉐ast week Atomic Heart passed the 10 million player mark.

Just over two years after launching its debut game, Mundfish has returned to announce Atomic Heart 2 at Summer Game Fest 2025. The developer also has a multiplayer spin-off in the works, so to catch up on everything the studio has been working toward, we caught up with Mundfish founder and CEO Robert Bagratun🥀i to chat via tr🍌anslator.

Our 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:new games 2025 list has r𒁃ounded up every title launching this year - handy!

With the first Atomic H𝔉eart sitting at a Metacritic score of 70, Bagratuni says Atomic Heart 2 will carry lessons forward from the development of its predecessor. Rather than pointing to any one issue, though, Bagratuni 🐼says the heft of these improvements

"We started playtesting about one year before the launch, but we froze about six months 𝓡before the launch," says Bagratuni. "Six months before launch, we couldn't really change the game. I saw certain challenges and things we could have done differently – for example the first dungeon [we could] make it more simple for the player to pass and get into the open world a bit faster. [But🀅] it was impossible to change."

Bagratuni suggests that "global circumstances also affected scores" at launch (the company faced backlash for its alleged ties to Russia), but when asked if that will affect the studio's run-up to Atomic Heart 2, insists Mundfish's focus will be on telling the story it started in the first game. "We were always bu🌜ilding a story about technology, and how it affects and changes the modern world" he explains. "This has always been the vision [...] The story itself resonates very well with the audience, no matter what is happening around it, so I think right now we're just concentrating on the story."

Atomic Heart🐻 2's story will be a continuation of the game and its post-launch DLC, and build upon the same dystopian technological themes.. "It's not just like a 40 minute Black Mirror segment," says Bagratuni. "It's going to b🤡e a huge world with lots of digitalization, and even though it's sci-fi, it's an imaginary world but it's very believable."

BioShocked

Besides the story, protagonist P-3's Polymer Glove – which grants powers ranging from telekꩵinesis to electricity attacks – will also return, with players now able to use both hands at the same time. The change brings Atomic Heart 2 closer in line to the Plasmid abilities of BioShock, which the first game was compared to heavily before its launch. Yet despite similarities between the Polymer Glove and Plasmids, and even the retrofuturistic societal collapses portrayed in both games, it was a "big surprise" when players compared Atomic Heart to Irrational's seminal shooter.

"When we were creating Atomic Heart, we were not thinking of BioShock, believe it or not," explains Bagratuni, who says the team only learned about the similarities through comments on the game's first trailer. T🍃he CEO adds that the Polymer Glove was created in response to expectations from starved BioShock players. "We actually added that when we realized that if we weren't going to be added, people would be really disappointed. This was something they were now expecting from us."

With those expectations proving difficult for Mundfish to match in 2023, Atomic Heart 2 presumably benefits from being more of a known quantity. Though we'll have to wait a little longer to see how it shapes up, there's one last bit of good news for fans – Atomic Heart 2 isn🐎't the only game in development at Mundfish.

The Cube

You ꦅknow what they said about buses: wait for one long enough, and two will come at once. The same principle applies to Atomic Heart fans, who are not only getting a sequel, but a multiplayer spi𝔍n-off called The Cube. An MMO RPG shooter set after the events of Atomic Heart's fourth DLC, The Cube will stick players down on – you guessed it – a giant floating cube made up of rotating rows. The setting is so big it has its own biomes, while deep inside is an "equation" that humanity's survival hinges upon.

It is, admittedly, a deeply weird premise. The idea came to Bagratuni while he was sketching during a "very boring, very long call" between Mundfish's co-founders, and within two hours of hanging up, the t๊eam had brainstormed the game's core concept.

Yet multiplayer shooters are a difficult nut to crack right now. Sony's attempt to wade into the genre, 2024's Concord, resulted in the game being 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:shuttered within two weeks of launch. Earlier this year, EA cancelled yet another shooter in the works at Respawn. It's not a recent problem, either, with Sega pulling the plug on extraction shooter Hyenas in 2023. When asked how The Cube will fare differently, Bagratuni emphasizes the game's "exploration, character development, and storytelling" – factors tha♉t are usually🐎 prioritized more in single-player games.

"The Cube is spinning, and while it's sp🌠inning, the biomes are changing," says Bagratuni, pointing to the game's unique setting. "They start to connect, and you start getting into very different situations. You meet different creatures – some of them you can communicate with, some of them you can't. You start exploring where they live, how they live, their habitat, and so on."

"It's an incredibly complex, complicatജed challenge"

Creative director Robert Bagratuni

The ever-changing 💦setting sounds as complicated as it seems, and as we get more into the tech side of things, Bagratuni becomes increasingly animated. "It's an incredibly complex, complicated challenge. We had to write our own physics [with] the ballistics system. We had to rewrite the gravitation system and engine."

"We had to optimize the renders in order for it to actually work," he laughs. "This is art!"

Bagratuni describes the behind-the-scenes workings as a "technological breakthrough,♊" and claims that "for the first time in the history of computer games, so many objects can rotate in real-time, online [and] simultaneous💝ly". He points to the launch of Crysis in 2007, which he describes as an "epitome of technological revolution" in gaming: "I definitely draw inspiration from what it meant back then."

That, Bagratuni stres🐲ses, is why he thinks The Cube will succeed. While I can't speak to the game in action, having only seen some (admittedly very pretty) screenshots, the confidence is certainly there. The premise, as strange as it sounds, is incredibly intriguing. With both The Cube and Atomic Heart 2 on the horizon, the future is looking busy for Mundfish – and although only time will tell how either game shapes up, it already feels like Mundfish is trusting more in its own vision than anyone els🍬e's.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> The 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:007: First Light trailer that dropped during the State of Play earlier this week had 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:some serious Casino Royale energy thanks to its decision to opt for a Bond origin story, and♈ developer IO Interactive is really doubling down on that with a new Hitman collab.

IO's CEO, Hakan Abrak, took to the stage at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest earlier today, joined by acting legend Mads Mikkelsen. That's because, in celebration oꦅf the reception of First Light, IO is collaborating with itself, bringing the Danish actor's Cas🐎ino Royale character, Le Chiffre, to Hitman as an elusive target.

If it's been a while since you 🀅last took on one of those targets, they're characters who you've only got one chance to take out, and can only access for a limited time. ౠThat's true of Le Chiffre, who'll head to Hitman 1's Paris map, but will only be available for 30 days.

Voiced by Mikkelsen, it's a very good likeness, and it does seem like there's a decent amount of new dialogue in there too. What's even better, however, is that if you do manage to take him out - s🌌omething that sounds tricky, given Mikkelsen's suggestion that his character will stay one s𝓡tep ahead of the player - you'll get "a unique reward" that you'll be able to take with you in 007: First Light.

I've got no idea what that might be, and with the James Bond game not releasing until next year, it'll be some time before we find out, but if you ever wanted a reason to jump into one of the澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询: best stealth games of recent years, this is it.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Mindseye, the original game from an 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ex-GTA 5 developer, is launching June 10, and a new trailer shown at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 🐟rev𝓡eals it's also getting a Hitman collaboration coming this July.

As the Mindseye trailer winds down꧒, a brief shot of the back of Agent 47's bald, barcoded head looking out over the neon-drenched city appears. "Ohhhhh! That's fire," screams onܫe person in the audience.

The CEO 💛of IO Interactive, Hakan Abrak, took the stage to say, "You may have noticed Agent 47 will be contracted for a very special assignment in Red Rock City."

Agent 47 will be a playable character in a pไost-launch mission made by the Build a Ro𝓡cket Boy devs, not IO.

It's a fascinating collaboration to be announced before the game is even out, as we don't really know what the tone of Mindseye is just ye🐻t.

✤The premise is protagonist Jacob Diaz is a former soldier whose neural implant could save humanity from a rogue AI.

The devs are promising to add new material every single month,♍ creating an "ever-expanding player e🎃xperience," so this could be the first collaboration of many.

So far, Mindseye looks like a cross between Watch Dogs, GTA, with ꧅maybe a little hint of Cyberpunk thrown in, so I'm not too sure where Hitman and its stealthy sandboxes fit i🥃n. We'll have to wait until summer to find out how these post-launch missions and monthly expansions work in-game.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 15 years after the banger that was 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询🐎:Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game, the graphic novel series is getting another beat 'em up revealed at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest in the form of Scott Pilgrim EX, devel💯oped by Tribute Games, which was responsible for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revꦰenge.

Scott Pilgrim🦋 EX is an online four-player brawler that looks to be recapturing the River City Ransom-vibes of the previous Scott Pilgrim game, using what looks to be a fully-explorable map like River City Girls. Its trailer promises seven playable characters, but only shows off ꦡScott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers. Given the previous game had Wallace, Knives, Stephen, Kim, and Nega Scott, I could see Tribute Games reusing the same cast as last time. Although, given her role in animated show Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, I could see them adding Ramona's ex-girlfriend Roxie Richter to that list this time.

EX is pegged to launch in 2026 on consoles and PC (only Nintendo Switch however, there's no 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Nintendo Switch 2 version), and it will have an original story written by Bryan Lee O'Malley (the creator of the Scott Pilgrim series). Not only that, but indie band Anamanaguchi to compose the soundtrack following their incredible soundtrack for the origina✃l game and their songs for the animated show.

Trib♔ute Games was founded by Jonathan Lavigne, who worked on the original Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World game at Ubisoft, so the developer is a natural fit for another Scott Pilgrim title. But even without that connection, TMNT Shredder's Revenge is one of the best beat 'em ups of the last decade, so Scott Pilgrim EX should be in good hands, regardless.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> Despite being one of Marvel's more popular characters, the brash and self-aware anti-hero Deadpool hasn't had as many opportunities to be in games as you'd think. It's an odd fact, given how quirky and clued into video game culture the comic book character is. But now, things are changing with Deadpool VR, the next Meta Quest-exclusive VR game that's following in the footsteps of 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:the excellent Batman: Arkham Shadow.

Revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025, Deadpool VR for the Meta Quest 3 aims to put players into the shoes of Marvel's most oddball anti-hero. Before the reveal, I got the opportunity to play early portions of Deadpool VR's story campaign, along with speaking with game director Daniel Bullock and lead design manager Phil Therien from developer Twisted Pixel about bringing the off-the-🉐wall mercenary into VR for the first time.

"Wait 'til they get a load of me…"

As a monster leaps down stairs towards Deadpool in Marvel's Deadpool VR, he blocks with a sword and uses a kind of laser grapple gun to catch it midair

Key info

Developer: Twisted Pixel
Publisher: Meta
Platform(s): Meta Quest 3 / 3S
Release date: TBC

"It's really all about being the cool, all-encompassing Deadpool experience," says lead design manager Phil Therien on Deadpool VR. "He has th🌌e weapons, he's got the wit, the humor, and his own trademark way to solve problems. We've got all that throughout our game, so really, we've been kind of bottled up like what it is like to be Deadpool in VR."

In Deadpool VR, the so-called Merc with a Mouth (voiced by Neil Patrick Harris) gets dragged into a conflict with the interdimensional invader Mojo and the secretive defense agency SHIELD. After being transported 𝔍to the gladiatorial dimension Mojoworld, Deadpool – who's uniquely aware of being in a video game – charts a path of carnage to take down a rogue's gallery of villains and get himself back to Eart๊h.

Much like the re🌊cent Batman: Arkham Shadow, Deadpool VR aims to capture the experience of being a superhero within VR. Compared to Batman or Iron Man, however, playing as Deadpool opens more possibilities for fast, slapstick violence that's both gory and goofy, all punctuated by the character's deep🎶-cut commentary that pokes fun at video game tropes – such as how the game has rooms solely designed for clearing out a certain number of enemies before allowing passage forward.

It's an action-comedy through and through, and Deadpool VR certainly delivers the Marvel-style experience of being an obnoxious, powered-up nerd who loves video game violence. The opening of the game certa🅠inly sets the tone well. Set aboard a SHIELD heli-carrier, Deadpool is captured and in pieces. From the perspective of Deadpool's disembodied head on an operating table, I have to guide his body – as if playing a 3rd-person action game – to stealthily take down a scientist so that he can put himself back together. After getting his gear back and cutting down some SHIELD soldiers, I'm off 🍎to the races to slice and dice foes.

"A cheap trick and a cheesy one-liner.."

A headless Deadpool slams a scientist's own noggin onto a desk in Marvel's Deadpool VR as blood sprays from his wounds

I'm impressed by how Deadpool VR capitalizes on the freeform nature of the character's combat style and the wa✅cky hijinks that accompany reckless action. As I move with the left-control stick and use free look with the VR headset, I quickly adapt to the quick swapping between swords and pistols to create fun combos, where I can slice an enemy with a sword in one hand and then finish them off with my pistol in the other. Put it all together and I'm able to parry bullets by swinging my twin swords and then going in for a dive-kick attack and a head stomp.

Speaking with the lead design manager, the developers tell me they want to emphasize the freeform action and the spectacle of being Deadpool, who can wall run, fire his twin pistols, and cut down enemies with his swords. Over its last three years in development, they saw th꧒e recent Batman: Arkham Shadow, which gave them added confidence for their take on Deadpool.

"I think one of the things that I especially appreciated [with Batman: Arkham Shadow] was just how they treated the UI and how it made it flow into combat in a way where it didn't feel like just pushing ☂UI, and it actually blended really well with the movement," says Therien. "That was really huge for us and the type of game we wanted to make because, obviously🥃, the more you move in VR, the more challenging it can be. However, they did it well, especially when it came to things like turning around. For me, that's one of the big takeaways. I think they did a really good job with that."

Deadpool pins a guard to a wall with a thrown knife in Marvel's Deadpool VR

Even when the game falls into those familiar, awkward issues of collision and disorientation that can come with action-heavy VR games, I still find the game's pacing and open-ended approach to be easygoing – mainly for the fact that it makes me feel 💖like an absolute menace to my enemies.

A d♌etail that I find amusing is that you can monitor Deadpool's health by the amount of damage he has sustained to his body. Once you take enough damage, Deadpool will lose an entire limb, which will temporarily prevent weapons from being used in that hand until it grows back – which slowly goes from a short, stubby baby hand to a full-grown hand with the costume intact. Deadpool VR is also on brand for featuring secrets and easter eggs, as each stage has hidden areas that can be unlocked, which reference a🔯lternate versions of Deadpool, such as Lady Deadpool.

According to gℱame director Daniel Bullock, Deadpool VR does lean into the developer's history of comedic games such as the 'Splosion Man series and LocoCycle, but elevates that further with a game that tries to get players to embrace being an absolute menace to his enemies.

Deadpool holds his own severed arm as guards approach in Marvel's Deadpool VR

"There's no doubt that when we were toying around with the idea of a game about Deadpool, it was a natural fit for our studio," he says. "When we look at our history and our relationships with comedic writers, and just sort of thꦯe culture of the studio, it just lends itself so perfectly to this character. So we're super excited to get 👍into it and really flex our muscles [with the concept]."

Despite being a character that feels like it's just for the fans, Deadpool can be a tricky character to nail – but Deadpool VR is looking to keep its focus on delivering a spectacle of goofy carnage. Of course, VR can be a tricky style of gaming to immerse yourself in, but the straightforward and punchy action Deadpool VR offers could be a solid ride for many, and I'm looking forward to seeing how far this game will push Deadpool's fourth-wall breaking, which already hits a bit diff💃erent within this new✅ perspective.

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Death Stranding 2 just took the stage at 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest, with a strangely domestic presentation that put one of Hideo Kojima's favorite a𝔍ctors in the spotlight.

The trailer features Lucy a𒈔nd ♛Neil, as the latter joins the former for what appears to be a medical appointment. After a jump forward in time, however, Lucy confronts Neil, asking if he really doesn't remember her, showing him a sign on her hand – of the astrological sign of Cancer – that links the two together.

Neil is played by actor Luca Marinelli, who previously made headlines the last time he showed up in a Death Strandingꦦ 2 trail꧒er, when every noted just how much he looked like Solid Snake. K🦩ojima had this to say about the scene, which was far more nor🐭mal than pretty much any trailer I've come to expect from his studio since his departure from Konami.

"In DS2, Neill and Lucy are very important char♔acters. I can't really say because it'll be spoilers, but you saw the Cancer mark on their hands. So they have this deep connection, that's revealed throughout the story.

Last time in DS1, we had Cliff, who was played by Mads. And of course, by story, he will not be in DS2. But this time, Neil will be playing like the role that Mads did. And Cliff was a very popular character, but I think we have to top that character. Luca Marinelli was a great actor, he did a great performance, so I think you'll like this new character Ne♈il too."

<![CDATA[ Latest from GamesRadar+ UK in Action ]]> 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most gorgeous games ever made. It beautifully blends realism with a subtle stylization that ensures you can still see at night and objects you can interact with are fairly obvious. It surely doesn't need a 🤪remake, but Arthur Morgan's actor, Roger Clark himself, thinks Rockstar may already be cooking one up.

"I think it's already starting to happen," Clark tells . "What's also starting to happen is that classic games, games that did well, and games that still are able to hold on to their fandom are getting remastered now more thꦏan ever before. So, I don't know, the data isn't going anywhere, but the technology to refine💙 its graphics is only just going to keep getting better and better."

We've seen plenty of Rockstar games get remasters or ports to modern consoles, and I'm not even talking about GTA 5. There was the GTA Trilogy remaster (that had a bunch of bugs in it) and the PC port of Red Dead Redemption, which has finally got John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff playing the game some 15 years after it first released.

"I don't think a remake of [Red☂ Dead Redemption 2] is something that we can write off for the future, or a remaster," Clark adds. "We've already started to see it for GTA 5 and the original Red Dead Redemption. So, I think possibly it'll remain in the limelight with modern versions of the same game, because the stories are what keeps the players coming back."

Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't even have a current-gen update 🌱and it still looks amazing, so maybe we'll at least get that patch sometime in the future. If Rockstar goes big e✤nough, a PS5 and Xbox Series X-level modernization could very well pass for a remaster.

In the meantime, check out the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest 2025 schedule so you can keep up with everything that's going on over the weekend.
