Ubisoft jumps on the Steam bandwagon

Valve Software will be offering over 40 Ubisoft PC titles on its Steam digital distribution platform in Canada and the US, with Assassin's Creed headlining the lineup🍃.

The addition of the Ubisoft titles is yet another key step in expanding the Steam community and distribution network. Valve said that Ubisoft's Steam lineup will be the largest library of titles from any single publisher or develope💦r on the service.

Already, many major publishers including THQ, Activision, Take-Two, Capcom, Sega, Codema🎀sters, Eidos and others ha🌸ve products available on Steam.

Valve said that Ubisoft's first-person shooter Far Cry and the original Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell are immediately availa🍷ble at a 10 percent discount until April 8.

Steam is also accepting pre-orders for the PC version of Assassin's Creed, which ♔launches April 9.

Valve will add additional Ubisoft titles over the coming weeks, including more Tom Clancy-branded games, Heroes of Might & Magic titles, the IL-2 Sturmovik collection and othe𝔍rs.
