Ubisoft hiring for Wii U MMORPG

Ubisoft is cooking up a new MMORPG for Nintendo's Wii U. T⭕his week, the company posted a number of jobs ads seeking all manner of online talent to help the studio develop a “Wii U – AAA Title” out of its Quebec City, Quebౠec (Canada) headquarters.

The jobs were on Twitter by Ubisoft's communications and networking specialist Emile Gauthier, who referred to the project as a “new AAA MMORPG game” and linked potential Ubisoft staffers to the ten official postings on the studio's Quebec office . Although the Wii U isn't advertised in Gauthier's tweet, it doꦯes appear next to thꦚe listings for Senior Engine Programmer and Network Programmer.

Other♈ jobs include 3D Animator, GFX Artist, Online Game Design Project Manager, and five oth🐻er game design roles.

It's anyone's gu⛦ess as to what Ubisoft is planning for Nintendo's Wii upgrade. The studio certainly has a number of franchises it could easily MMO-ify; but then it's also no stranger to tackling licensed titles. Maybe t𝕴his a move to bump its Battle of Giants series for the DS and 3DS to the next level. Or maybe we're witnessing the start of a new Might and Magic. How about an Assassin's Creed MMO, as Ubisoft has said the franchise is headed to Wii U? Feel free to share your predictions and speculations below.
