A new image has emerged online from Joseph Kosinski’s Oblivion , featuring a space-suit-wearing Tom Cruise getting his sprint on.
The film is set on a post-apoc♓alyptic Earth which has evolved beyond all recognition, with Cruise playing one of the last few humans stationed on the planet.
He’s charged with helping to mine t🌟he last remaining natural resources from humanity’s old home, but his world is turned upside down with the sudden crash-landing of a beautiful stranger from a stricken spac🙈ecraft.
The new image doesn’t tell us much more, save for the fact that Cruise’s character will find himself in a fair bit of peril throughout the movie. Comes with the territory for an 🍨action hero, doesn’t it?
Co-starring Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Melissa Leo and Olga Kurylenko, Oblivion will open in the UK on 12 April 2013.
