More Authors Confirmed For The Weekender

Black Library writers Dan Abnett and Aaron Dembski-Bowden are confirmed for the February 2012 event [UPDATE: Chris Wraight can no longer make it]

Plans for the SFX Weekender are well and truly under way now, and today's good news is that we can proudly announce that two of Black Lib𒊎rary’s finest authors will be joining 𝕴us in February 2012.

Readers will be familiar with Aaron Dembski-Bowden and Dan Abnett from the pages of SFX this summer, and ✅they'll be at Prestatyn Sands with us for . These top authors will be on hand for signings, Q&A sessions and♎ panels throughout the weekend. Alas fellow writer Chris Wraight can no longer attend.

Dan Abnett (above) is a novelist and award-winning comic book writer who's well known to Warhammer 40,000 fans, having penned many a bestselling novel including the acclaimed Gaunt’s Ghosts series. As if that wasn’t enough, he’s a renowned comics writer, having worked on everything from the Mr Men to the X-Men, and he was the writer behind last year's Space Marines film Ultramarines . Aaron Dembski-Bowden 's greatest hits include the novels Soul Hunter , Helsreach , The First Heretic and Throne Of Lies . His latest book is Blood Reaver , out now from Black Library, which is a sequel to Soul Hunter – it's an epic tale from the Warhammer 40,000 universe in which the Night Lords unite with the Red Corsairs to attack the fortress-monastery of the Marines Errant in search of the chapter's gene-seed.
