The top ten Burnout bugs revealed (and then fixed)

Criterion is hard at work on a p🌄atch that will fix what it cal🔥ls "the top ten Bunrnout bugs" in one go.

Burnout Paradise lets you loo🦹se in a huge city, so it's no surprise that there are a few issues here and there. But Criterion is on the case, with a free patch that'll wrap up all the errors and enhance some of the gameplay on both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game.

Criterion has not yet nailed do💫wn the release for the patch, only promising it'll be "soon."

Here's the list:

* PS3 game can crash when a player is taken down and the player that has performed the Takedown leaves the game
* The game indefinitely displays "Connecting to Paradise City Servers" if it's having problems pinging the rebroadcast server
* Disconnecting the controller before a race begins can mean that race times can be manipulated, with players who didn't cross the line first being awarded the win
* Repeatedly joining and leaving a game with 8 players can cause the game tolag
* Hammering the A (360) or X (PS3) buttons after unlocking a car can cause the game tolag
* East Crawford and Watt St achievements can not be achieved if the player goes online and sets road rules before attempting the tracks
* Audio distortion when using 5.1 / DTS and looking rearwards
* Enhanced 360 streaming performance will stop instances where the game seems to pause for a second or so
* Total time driven in player stats will stick at 145 hours
* VoIP connection problems with 8 player games

Further changes soon to be made are listed on.
