This story of a Scandinavian cargo ship taken over by Somali pirates may sound a bit🌊 like without the action, but it’s actually a ruthlessly plausible thriller, stripped clean of music and melodrama, and all the more engrossing for it.

Johan Philip Asbaek (TV’s Borgen ) is the cook struggling to survive the ordeal on board; Søren Malling (also Borgen ) the chillingꦓly detached company boss haggling over the rans♓om.

As tensions escalate and conditions deteriorate, Lindholm’s control is so rigorous that it’s easy to forget you’re⭕ watching fiction.
