Aiming somewhere between and , Noel Clarke’s first solo directorial effort since centres on an ex-soldier (Clarke) who finds himself occasionally regaining consciousness for nine minutes, 37 seconds in a body no longer his own. It’s a nifty idea – especially in terms of structure – but that’s about it, with Clarke’s direction proving as flat as his performance.
