GamesRadar+ Verdict

Mutant Year Zero: Zone Wars is a novel attempt at the war game formula. With a great aesthetic, clear rules, and fun worldbuilding, it's easy to get lost in the r🐓ounds, but its reliance on RNG is both Zone Wars' greate💧st strength and biggest weakness. This is one of the most approachable skirmish board games out there, but don't expect it to feel as deep or rewarding as some of its peers — even if it's just as fun.
