Stone helming Basic Instinct 3?
Sharon suggests she mi🐓ght slip into the chair for 😼sequel number two
Some franchises end painfully early, their creators ad🧸amant that their material will be remembered and cherished for going out on top. Some don’t. Some go on until it hurts – and we can smell 🧸one coming around the corner.
Not even a week after the general release of Basic Instinct 2, its star, Sh🧔aron Stone, has expressed her interest in directing a third movie in𝓡 the franchise.
Sounding pretty definite about the project going ahead, Stone stated, “there's a script f🗹or the next part of the story - but I would like to direct it rather than star in it. It will be fil♊med in the UK again as the setting is more intense and gritty.”
Basicꦡ Instinct 2 was helmed by Scots lenser Michael Caton-Jones and has, so far, hoovered up over $13 million at the worldwide box office.
Stone⛦ stars alongside Brit actors David Morrissey and David Thewlis, reprising he๊r role as serial leg-crosser Catherine Tramell, from the original 1992 flick directed by Paul Verhoeven.
