Sony Computer Entertainment has finally (probably accidental🐭ly) confirmed a third God of War game for the PlayS🎃tation 3.

The news came in a statement to US site 1UP regarding the 😼departure of God of War II director Cory Barlog, who has been confirmed as leaving the companဣy.

A Sony spokesperson stated, "We can confirm that Cory Barlog, game director for God of War II, is leaving the SCEA [Santa Monica] Studio and w💯e are grateful for his wo🌄rk and creative vision for the critically acclaimed God of War franchise.

"ওMoving forward, we are confident in the God of War team, as they are an extremely talented gro🐓up of people that are passionate about the franchise and dedicated to creating even more epic content with God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP and God of War III for PS3."

There you are then: one of Sony's worst kept secrets seems to have slipped into the open. Hopefully minus Barlog's d𒀰irection - and with former creative director David Jaffe since departed from SCEA - Sony can🐽 still pump out an awesome God of War sequel for PS3.
