Now entering its fifth year, Stoke Newington Literary Festival ( ) has taken an unashamedly geeky turn with some guests from the SFX universe. The event will boast appearances by top authors like Ben Aaronovitch and Stephen Hunt, alongside other panel activities about crime writing, film criticism, art, feminism and Shakespear🦄e among many others.
The line-up includes "The Science Of Star Wars " in which two scientists will probe the fantastic frontier between movie magic and cutting-ജedge science, and "Relati🔯onships In Science-Fiction And Fantasy" in which four leading writers in this area (Ben Aaronovitch, Stephen Hunt, Mitch Benn and Jon Wallace) talk with Gollancz's Associate Publisher Simon Spanton about what it means to be a genre writer and how they play with the boundaries.
