Well here's some news to banish all those post-Easter blues. This year's Call of Duty is apparently set in space, in the far, far future. Now known industry source has said on Neogaf that the game will be in the &ldqu𒊎o;Very far future" with "Space combat" and "Full on sci-fi” which standalo൲ne might sound suitably vague but coincides with what has heard from other sources.
Eurogamer reports that the new CoD will focus on space combat between warring factions, so a far cry from Ghosts' now seemingly banal opener set where no one can hear you scream. Predictably, this isn't a direct sequel to Ghosts. We've not even had news of a release date as yet, but November is a pretty safe bet. I'𒆙ll keep you updated as we know more.
