Rolando creators ditching iPads to make PSN game Okabu
Hand🥂 Circus deviates from its iOS roots with an exclusive downloadable PS3 game
Developer Hand Circus is taking a break from iPads and iPhones to develop its first non-iOS title exclusively for PSN. Coming in 2011, Okabu follows an small army of cutesy cloud-flying heroes as they attempt to protect their equally-cutesy world f🔜rom being overrun by the not-so-cutesy Doza.
On , Hand Circus describes the landscape of Okabu as, “A hyper-tactile toybox filled with a huge number of puzzles, playthings, adorable creatures and devious machines –all spread across an epic 🍒co-op campaign.”
Hand Circus has had a lot of success with its Rolando series for iOS systems, and Okabu borrows heavily from those games in terms of its tone and aesthetics. Of course, Rolando initially borrowed much of its charm and style fro🐭m Loco Roco, but it's ru♛de to point fingers.
