Republique Kickstarter reaches final hours

Republique gripped the imaginations of many in the video game industry when it was announced via the crowdsourced funding site, Kick𝓡starter about a month ago. The iPhone/iPad/PC game tasks you as a sort of remote h🧸acker who helps a young woman escape an oppressive government.

The player never steps foot in the game world, instead you observe the world through secu▨rity cameras and other devices and help the young woman by giving her instructions. It's been described as a sort of stealth game with elements of survival horror and a cyberpunk theme.

So far the game has raised a huge sum of money, about $324,000 as of this writing. However, they've got a long way to go to reach their Kickstarter goal of $500,000 in just 50 h♕ours. It's not out of the question though.

There have been several last-minute drives that have raised that kind of money, so if you're inclined, take a jaunt on over to and drop a𒆙 few✅ bucks on what looks like a very unique game with talented developers from the Halo and Metal Gear Solid teams.
