After a few hours, the game was taken down, with Major Nelson taking to Twitter to explain the mistake:

Now, testing doesn't guarantee that the game is definitely coming - although r🐼eports from those who managed to 🐬play the game suggest that it was working pretty smoothly - nor does it guarantee that it's coming any time soon (Rockstar might choose to release it when they have something new to bundle it with, for example). That said, it seems pretty safe to say that it's very much on the agenda.

As are some other games: players were able to gain access to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Halo Wars, Left 4 Dead 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2🌱 over the weekend. That's quite the line-up.
