Let's be brutally honest. Race Driver: Create & Race isn't the best looking of the Race Driver franchise. That's not to say it isn't a phenomenal effort for the DS - it kind of looks likes other formats, but only if you squinted and looked at the screen with your head inside your t-shirt. Plus, the handling has been simplified to the point where driving a Renault Clio and STRANA Supertrack feels mu💮ch the same. It makes what was a simulator with arcade leanings a totally arcade experience.

But put this to the back of your mind and you'll find something that makes Create & Race fantastic - the track creatᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚor. Unique to the DS and ideal for its capabilities, you can make some devilish and sprawling circuits that you can then challenge three mates to race you against via Wi-Fi or head-to-head with card s♔haring.
