You don't usually see big updates like that roll out just a few months be🌞fore a game is scheduled to go offline, which makes me suspect this discontinuation of service was a surprise to many of the developers too. It's a shame to see any game go so soon, though I doubt Rush will be the last Pokemon Rumble. The subseries first started as a downloadable Wii game back in 2009, and it's been sending waves of clockwork Pokemon toys into battle with one another ever since.
