Pocket Legends, a mobile 'MMORPG,' now available for free download on Android phones
Play alongside iPhone players
Pocket Legends, an ambitious online role-playing game that iPhone players have been toying with for quite some time, is now availabl🌱e for download on the Android Market. It is one of the first big cross-platform games between Android and iPhone, allowing users on both sides t🐻o play together.
In Pocket Legends, players choo🔴se to be൲ an archer, enchantress, or warrior and then go off on quests to gain levels and earn money and upgrades.
Each battle allows players from around the world to connect and compete. Although the game is billed 𒈔as an MMOG, it doesn't really have a full open-world online aspect to it, so that's a bit misleading. It does have a World of Warcraft/Ragnarok aesthetic, though.
In addition to Wi-Fi, the game functions over 3G and Edge data networks, andit'sa surprisingly small 30 MB downlo🦋ad. It works on all Android devi﷽ces as long as they have Android 2.1 or later installed.
Pocket Legends has been on Android in closed beta for a while now -today's introduction to the Android Market br✃ings it to open beta - and it's free! The game has already tallied 🍌more than 10,000 downloads.
