The PS5 Pro just dropped to a brand new record-low price - but this bundle looks far better this weekend
Sony's premium console has never been cheaper

PS5 Pro deals were inevitable, this is a sꦑlightly overpriced console that doesn't do too much on top of the regular PS5 Slim experience. That's why I wasn't surprised to see discounts landing so soon after release last year. Amazon's latest discount did lift my eyebrow, though.
EE was leading the pack in PS5 Pro discounts for a long time, offering a🌼 offering £40 off the £699.99 RRP. That offer has been gone for a good few weeks now, but Amazon's just picked up the mantl🌠e. You'll find the PS5 Pro on these digital shelves for £656 this weekend - a new record-low price by £4.
It's a small additional saving, but considering just how infrequent 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PS5 deals like this are it's one I'd certainly take seriously. Amazon sometimes offers these minute additional discounts to beat the competition, but only Very is offering a competing price right now. Still, I don🧔't know how long it will last so if you're in the market for a graphical boost it's time to head to checkout.
Remember, this is an all-digital console. If you've got physical games to play there's actually another PS5 Pro deal I'd point you towards. EE has both the console and the PS5 Disc Drive on the shelves . Consider🦂ing the drive itself has a £99.99 RRP, you're actually saving £40 on both 🐓items together (scroll down to the 'Bundles' section of the product page to see the full savings).

Save £43 - The PS5 Pro has dropped to £659 a co🤡uple of times in its life, but I've never seen extra savings on top of that. While EE has been closer to full price for a few weeks, though, Amazon is taꦓking us all the way down to £656 right now - that's a new record-low price.

Should you buy the PS5 Pro?
I reviewed the PS5 Pro when it launched late last year, and I have mixed emotions. Yes, gameplay is much smoother in the games that are optimized to take advantage of the console's graphical upgrades - but smaller features like a longer field of view and better detailing aren't as transformative as Sony initially made out. In fact, running the device on my 55-inch LG TV, I didn't really notice a difference unless I was sat right upℱ against the scre🌞en.
That's not to say I wouldn't recommend the PS5 Pro to anyone, though. I swapped my setup to a monitor and the differences between the £700 and £500 consoles was much more apparent. Games like Spider-Man 2 and The Last of Us benefit from far more realistic ray tracing reflections and lighting effects, while I did notice some additional crispness to finer details in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. I would, however, generally only recommend the Pro to those with a large, premium 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:gaming TV or one of the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:best gaming monitors on the market.
If you're coming from an original launch console, choosing between a Slim and a Pro, the extra investment could pay off in the long run. If you've already got a Slim and you sit a good 🀅distance away from a regular 4K TV, the console's benefits migh🗹t not stretch as far as you want them to.
