was one of the most fun experiences of my life," she says. "But I kept getting cast as either a programme or an alien."I felt like Pinocchio, I just wanted to be real! Oh God, please just let me be flawed and complex and human. Also, I think it's rare to find female characters that are neither perfect nor villainous.
"Quite often the women are either the beautiful, perfect girlfriend or the evil ex-girlfriend. It's never the girl who's really great in some ways but gosh, she's flawed and frustrating."
