System 3 is rewarding existing owners of Ferrari Challenge on PS3 by reducing the cost of its sequel, Ferrari: The Race Experience for its release on PSN tomorrow. It's not a massive reduction in price, as fans get it for £9.99 instead o𒁃f £11.99, but a lot of companies would do well to follow their example♔.
Presumably the PS Store will scan your hard drive for game saves or even the presence of the game disc before you pay. However it works, it's a great idea, and we'd love to see it a💫pplied to other games, especially big series like FIFA, Call of Duty or Street Fighter.
The game itself appears to be a remix of the first Ferrari Challenge: Trofeo Pirelli, with ꧅two more tracks - Riviera and Fiorano - both of which appeared in the original's pseudo-sequel, Supercar Challenge. There will also be new cars such as the 458 Italia and the 599XX. It's good to see another Ferrari-only ⛦game as the original had a genuine sense of that prancing horse magic, not to mention the fact it had 'the finger' assigned to a shake of the SixAxis.
The new game should be h💜itting PSN any time now. In the mean-time, check o🌳ut this CG trailer:
