And away we go! There's still a few hours left until the showcase kicks off, so you've got plenty of time to get the snacks in. The meantime, though, let's se𒐪e what rumors are circulating ahead of the event.
Seemingly, one of the worst-kept secrets heading into this showcase is that we're getting a remake of Persona 4. and report as much, though thꦦe signs have been swirling for a while.
澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Three Persona 4 actors have said they're not returning to the unannounced remake in the same order you recruit their characters in the JRPG, fueli🌸ng theories that they are, actually, c😼oming back - the real question is whether it's a clever marketing stunt or just a rather unfortunate series of events.
Even before that, fans were in disarray following the discovery of a 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:website domain for "p4re," ꦿwhich is similar to what we saw with th🍨e Persona 3 remake before it was unveiled. Hm!
I put it to you, dear rea✱de🔥r. Do you think we're getting a Persona 4 remake?
We have some big news coming...⁰⁰Stay tuned👀 pic.twitter.com/rkVHTyZbdo
Another piece of news that's just dropped from Ba൲ndai Namco is that the next Tales of series remaster will be announced this Summer.
Bandai Namco offers the following tease o🎉n Twitter, and that's somewhat it! You'll just have to speculate until then, gang.
If you're wondering how long the Xbox Games Showcase and The Outer Worlds 2 Direct will be, VP, Games Marketing at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg has it'll be two hours. We don't know how long each stream will be individually, though one will r꧋oll into the other, so there shouldn't be any overlap.
I'm also pleased to report that it's all getting rather unhinged over on the Hollow Knight: Silksong subreddit. Team Cherry confirming a 2025 launch 澳洲幸运5开奖🔜号码历史查询:alongside a fres🃏h heap of Steam updates pre-Xbox Games Showcase has doubters turning into believers once more. Let's just put that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Summer Game Fest gag to one side for now.
Not long to wait now! We're less than 30 minutes until the Xbox Games Showcase, and the pre-🌼roll video countdown has already begun. Who doesn't love a little fishing in an irradiated wasteland?
With just 15 minutes to go, now is the perfect time to g🐷rab a snack, usܫe the bathroom, and generally settle in for whatever Big Phil has cooking for us here in the near future. Any last-minute predictions? Now's the moment!
OK, now there there's less than 10 minutes, I can admit that I'm honestly shocked there's not been too much in the way of scuttlebutt about what to expect tonight. There are some of the usual suspects, of course, but Summer Game Fest in general has be⛦en a leaky ship in the past and this yeཧar feels much more buttoned up.
Final warning! 5 minutesꩲ! ...Can I be honest with you? I feel like this is a place of mutual respect where we can admit deep truths. This whole fishing pre-roll bit is very strange, right? It🐎's not just me?
And away we go...
First up: Outer Worlds 2 bits? Invasion of Arcadia being shown. Auntie Cleo doesn't care that the colony's all messed up. They're he🐈re to🐭 liberate resources!
Lots of quick looks at various locales and gunplay. Strange rifts. "Now, let's ge🅘t out there and buy our way to victory!"
If you've seen Outer Worlds, well, this certainly seems like a sequel! More colorful and with wild weapons. Also apparently maybe some kind of explosive gel, punching freezing people. shrinking people.... Also apparently maybe some vomiting? And big gun that absolutely melts (combines?) people. Out🔯er Worlds 2 out October 29. Outer Worlds 2 Direct immedi꧑ately after Xbox.
Here🃏's the official story trailer to see for yourself:

World Premiere here looks like more High on Life? Wild colors r🧜unning around alien landscapes quickly zooming with taking out enemies all while shooting strange, offputဣting weapons with faces and mouths.
Sure enough: High on Lif💎e 2. Coming this Winte👍r to Xbox, PS5, and PC. Good for them.
Here's High on Life 2's official trailer:

New World Premiere has a woman running away from... something. Looks slightly fantastical? There's a string connecting... something, all lit up. Roman-esque armor on an enemy in gladiatorial combat.♎ Some kind of strange, imposing figure looms in the background.
Resonance: A 𝔍Plague Tale Legacy coming 2026 to Xbox, PS5, and PC.
Floating glass brick is a choice... Handheld?
Well, folks, there it is: Xbox handheld is real. Looks like it's based on ROG, which is what some of the rumors🍨 and reports had been claiming. Honestly, the most exciting bit about this segment for me might be the electronic soundtrack. F𒈔eels like Glitch Mob.
Yes, this is an Xbox. ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X. Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, now talking about championing crossplay, doing Game Pas𓆉s. "So, what's next? How can we give you even more freedom?" Once again pushing the Xbox Anywhere stuff saying that the Xbox handheld can play all the various PC game store like Steam and GOG and so on.
More importantly: Silksong available at launch! And every game in ꦐthe show will be playable on the Xbox Ally.
It's certainly interesting to look at. I'll keep💖 my opinions to myself until I actually ಞhave it in my hand, because it's all about the hardware in the end.

Sarah hyping up The Blood of Dawnwalker, which looks to be shown now🐓, from Bandai Namco. We'v♊e liked what we've seen and heard about this game from Rebel Wolves before!
Moody, dark backgrounds, vamp🌠ires and monsters, swordplay. Lots of red and black. "We feared for our lives when we should have feared for our souls instead."
But the vampires aren't here to kill; they're here to rule. Apparently the narrator here was nearly changed into a vampire, but he became "something else instead: their worst nightmare." Classic. You ge⛄t 'em, Dawnwalker.
There's a re🔜al sense of like, Witcher meets medieval Blade here. Coming in 2026. Lots of interesting abilities quickly shown. Xbox, PC, PS5. Sensing a muꩵltiplatform theme here...
Trailer's worth a full watch:

And immediately into the next theme: a 3D Super Meat Boy platformer?? This looks absol🌱utely frustrating in the best kind of way. Lots of meat getting sliced and diced and destroyed and lasered and getting back up again.
Super Meat Boy 3D coming early 2026 to, you guessed it, Xbox, PS5, an🦋d PC.
Lookin' good, Meat Boy.

Koei Tecmo up now with an incredibly bloody Ninja Gaiden, I believe. Hectic 🍸swordplay, stylish action, particlꦺe effects, quick dashing and abilities. I can already tell this is going to absolutely drive some folks up the wall.
Ninja Gaiden 4, October 21, 2025, to – yup – Xbox, PS5,ꦐ and PC.

We're back to Indiana Jones🅘 here. "A new adventure begins..." DLC??
Beneath the streets of Rome there's a relic, according to I☂ndy's narration. Foreboding statues lit with torches, strange tidings... The Order of Giants is out September 4, 2025 for Xbox, PC🙈, and PS5.

Enough of that! Moving to another World Premiere here about giant creatures. A mysterious massive elk &ndashꦏ; Game Freak is the develo🌞per? What?
Protagonist uses a sword to take on this giant creatures in the year 4026. There's a real Castle in the Sky meets Shadow 🧜of the Colossus 📖vibe here. Strange mechanical creatures. Beast of Reincarnation is apparently the name. 2026, Xbox, PC, and PS5.

And now to that magical steampunk game that looks an awful lot like Dishonored from inXile. Lots of clockwork getting pushed around by, well, capitalism here. Lots of cogs and gears in a British-coded envi🌳ronment.
Oh this🎀 is a fun way to do character creation (I hope) as The Knob describes the thief that robbed him. Well, the trailer shows said Knob peeing himself so. That's new.
Looks to be some kind of dialogue system with different choices about who you talk to and about what. In this instance, poor 🧸Errol is bashed in the head with a candlestick.
Sounds like it's a ღgame about gangs and criminals against the gangs and criminals that actually run the system. Weapon customization looks wild and fascinating. This clockwork rifle... My gods. And electric grenades? Also, apparently, there's time travel? But good news: the protagonist can also fiddle with time! Take that.
Honestly this game looked great before the time travel shenanigans were thrown in. Change the past to change the future. Getting some 🍸serious Sing🏅ularity vibes here...
Oh wow that dude just got disintegrated. Clockwork Revol✤ution coming "in due time."

Matt Booty hyping up games like D🦂iablo 4, Avowed, and more from first-party studios. Saying the teams are shipping more games and content than ever before. I believe you.
Everything day one in Game Pass and everything from here on is Xbox Play Anywhere. Not shocking. Booty ജalso pointing to transmedia with Minecraft movie and Fallout TV series. "We have more pr♋ojects in the works," says Booty.
Booty teasing a third game from Obsidian th🍸at's not Outeꦏr Worlds 2 or Avowed!
And we start with an animated toy commercial of some kind, interrupted by breaking news. Oh, they're talking about people getting miniaturized. This has 🧔to be more Grounded, right?
Looks like a ceremony to celebrate the a🎀nniversary of the e💛vents in the first Grounded has led to folks getting turned mini once again. Also, an Offspring cover over this footage of small people taking on spiders, riding ants, and building is a choice.
That there is a mean-looking ladybug. Grounded🦩 2 game preview coming July🔯 29, 2025.

Spooky trailer now showing a mysterious suited꧑ figure exploring an overgrown, ruined environment with creepy humanoid critters. Looks like Cronos: The New Dawn to me. And sure enough, there it is. Lots of shooting, talk of destroying nests. Not much in the way of movement. "Such is our calling." Coming Fa🌠ll 2025 to Xbox, PC, and PS5.

And now, more Bet🐼hesda. Elder Scrolls Online is up. We get an entirely different kind of cover song, which, OK. Lots of focus on a little pet cat while adventuring around in Tamriel. I am not entirely positive what this is trying to show beyond the breadth and width of stuff you can do in ESO. It's an MMORPG! If you didn't know.
Seasons of the Worm Cult begins June 18 in ESO.

No time to dwell! Onto the next thing, which is a World Premiere space game t♏hat begins with a ship crashing into a new world from Don't Nod. Icy crash site being explored by the astronaut. Lots of dangerous debris and sliding and jumping. Very Space Nathan Drake. Beautiful lighting and stark environments will always get me.
Aphelion is the name. Apparently she's looking for Thomas? And𒉰 there are m🎃onstrous beings being teased. Coming 2026 to Xbox, PC, and PS5.

Mov💖ing right along! You've inherited a hotel. There's singing and the rooms are slowly changing and shifting? There's a renovation gun of sorts... It's like iꦬf Powerwash Simulator were about renovating, I guess? Apparently you can use this power through the whole village. Your departed father was doing all of this before. But apparently you're actually trying to solve some sort of secret investigation...
Also, there's a talking cat that's on your side. And you can dꩵrive a boat. And there are awful spider-looking things? How very eldritch. No Ghosts at The Grand is coming to Xbox, PC, and PS5.

Moving immediately along to something entirely different. Looks like an RTS, maybe, about 🀅gods and inherito💖rs? New Japanese pantheon is coming to Age of Mythology, seems like?
Age of Mythol💛ogy Retold: Heavenly Spear co🧔ming Fall 2025.

Next up: some kind of urban 🥂environment with what sounds like Korean to me. Shots of people walking around and unrest with tanks, helicopters, and now there's folks in military gear taking on others but also a young woman in an office from the player's perspective? What's going on in this game, exactly?
"Someone is using your rage." I 100% believe it. Mudang: Two Hearts coming 2026 to Xbo🎶🐭x, PC, and PS5.

Immediately onto the next thing which has a stu💝💛nning simple art style and fantastic mechanical beings and ships. Young child hides and moves through the environment. "The odyssey continues" in 2026. There's a 2.5D aspect here that's very charming on top of the natural but futuristic environments and constructions.
Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf is coming 2026 t🎃o Xbox, PC, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

Fallout 76 up with, once again, fishing. Old-timey commerc🧜i🦋al element here is hyping up how to actually fish and that basically all waterways can be fished. Also, these fish look... rough. "Bagging the big fish starts with finding the right tool for the job." Lots of rods and bait and so on can be combined to catch different stuff. All right.
🌠Moving on to showing off the construction of bases, including some fishing-related stuff. Gone Fission is a good𒀰 name, I'll give it that.

Immediately into something very anime: Solo Leveling. Lots of fast-paced col🍷orful combat. 4 player co-op against enemies and big bosses. Probably not a good sign that it seems like maybe the framerate is struggling with all of these effects in the trailer, right? Maybe that's just me.
Solo Leveling Arise Ov🐟erdrive is the full name. See for yourself:

Moving right along to a different kind of anime art style now! Seems... 🍒a bit like Palworld meets Infinity Nikki? Transformin🀅g into critters and running around to complete puzzles and find goodies, but you can also just do it as a person.
Aniimo is the name! Check it out:

Tony Hawk here to hype up Tony Hawk's Pro Skaterཧ 3+4. Up to 8 players in multiplayer! Launches Jul🎶y 11, "but we have a lot more surprises to come." I believe you, Tony. And we move directly into the launch trailer.
I mean, what's there to say here? It's a much-nicer version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Looks slick – and was that Bam? Alsไo, Michelangelo from TMNT? Fine; OK, I will happily play these again. Demo out today! Coming to... basically all p🍨latforms you can imagine.

And now, something new from the folks behind Spiritfarer! Looks a bit like a Metroidvan♛ia in terms of combat. Extremely stylized art, similar to Spiritfarer. Card-based progression system? Beautiful animation for combat with fascinating abilities you can dodge and react to. At Fate's End coming 2026 to Xbox, PC, and PS5.

And immediately into Gears of War Remastered, it🐻 looks like! Looks like Gears of War, but remastered. Apparently this will have crossplayꦦ! And cross-progression! Splitscreen co-op! Xbox Play Anywhere!
Gears of War ♔Reloaded launches August 26. Fine enough trailer.
Enough of that! Another world premiere. Is this the Persona 4 Remake? Sure look𓆏s like it!
Persona 4 Revival! It's real! Xbox, PC, and PS5. No date🐎 attached, and not much shown beyond reworked visuals.

And now: Sea of Thieves. Apparently focused on 𓂃smuggler🀅s? These folks don't looks up to snuff. Apparently this a new role to play. "Discover explosive new loot."
But enough of that! Onto the next World Premiere. Looks like some kind🐈 of superhero game maybe? Invincible! Spider-Verse animation delays here looking pretty solid as Mark takes it on the chin from several Viltrumites. Sounds like the voice actors from the show too.
Iꦕs this a fighter? Sure looks like maybe. Rex Splode and Atom Eve joint he fight.
It very much is an Invincible fighting game! Invincible VS? 3v3 fighting. Seeing Bulletproof in addition to the others already mentioned. Supers of some kind. Lots of abilities. Coming 2026. Reads like a mo♛re stylized Injustice, to be honest.

And now, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade c꧒omes to Xbox this Wint𝓡er, apparently. Looks like Final Fantasy 16 is also making the jump. That last one is coming today! FF16 on Xbox today!

And now, a World Premiere from Double Fine! Strange tower falls over then... grows legs? The lighthouse wanders the landscape as it falls apart. Also there's a green bird helping out. This looks beautiful. Huge caverns and small villages and strange floating sky monsters. Very stop-motion fee🐓ling here. Keeper coming October 17, 2025.

Phil Spencer up now hyping up Xbox in general. Fable, Forza, Gears of War, Spencer is excited people will get to celebrate𓄧 25 years of Xbox with so many classics. Is he about to end with a "and one more thing" reveal?
"We're seeing more players on our platform and in our games than ever, thanks to all of you." Spencer points to the extended look at🅰 Outer Worlds 2 and Grounded 2 next.
And yes, a final World Premiere now.
Robot welcomes you to the guild and generally talks about saving lives. "Your years of service have shown you the importance of our work." Hologram lady talking about disruptinౠg. "The guild is safeguarding tomorrow, now." Pioneering protection... but there's a danꦫgerous techno-butterfly that melds into a screen? And then the screen cracks... I'm not sure what all is happening here.
The world falls away an☂d it's actually some kind of strange urban environment, then a ruinous cargo area. Perception here seems to be funny as it's now an operating room of some kind. The butterfly lands on the land of another before getting crushed. "Fear is a powerful thing."
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is the ꦿlast reveal here! Looks to be set in near-future? Not much in the way of detail! I♈nteresting...

That's it for the 🦋standard Xbox Games Showcase! It's moved on into Outer Worlds 2 at this point. Fun Ben Schwartz intro as Mark, Head of🥃 Sequels.
Tr🐼aits, pushing conversations even further. Apparently you can even bang on machines sometimes to get them to work. Skills come after traits and includes everything from playing with stealth or explosives and so on.
O𒁏uter Wo🍬rlds 2 condenses skills, and the original actually had more. Changes are more impactful now.
O🍸ne more skill point apparently changes things more directly. Fallout New Vegas perks are basically borrowed for The Outer Worlds 2. Pickpocket will let you steal from people's pockets, for example, and Heavy Handed actually lets power attacks knock people dow💃n. Serial Killer perk has enemies drop hearts, and as you take them you get a permanent health bonus.
Assassin perk grants movement bonuses for taking down enemies in stealth! Now: Flaws. People loved them, but Outer Worlds 2 changes to make them more compelling and interesting in ways that people actua꧅lly want.
Ben Schwartz is back to figure out new Flaws. Bad Knees feels like a bad one, but sure. Tiny Crimes also very🅠 funny. "I like to stare at the sun?" OK. All right.
Bad Knees apparently has you move faster in the game but whenever you stand up, your knees pop. Kleptomaniac (not Tiny Crimes) lets you sell for more bits than normal. Sometimes, you automatically steal stuff. Sungazer flaw means tꦐhe player gets cataracts and lots of bloom. Overprepared is another flaw where you have larger mags but fully unloading gives a debuff.
The Bridge is 🍸up now, which is apparently an early quest. Core to the story, expresses the dev's philosophy to allow many different solves. Speech, doing a quest to prove you're a friend to get by is one example. Go guns blazing! Lower the bridge yourself to 🌱get across. You can sneak, lower the bridge, and sneak under to get to the other side. Certain gadgets can let you bypass stuff like doublejump boots. Apparently you can even sacrifice a companion to get across!
Enough of that! Onto Factions and Companions. Apparently it was always known that new games would be on new colonies. How much freedom will people give up to The Protectorate for safety? Rifts are bein💟g opened by the skip drives that let people navigate space. Player sent to ♛Arcadia to figure out what's going on with the skip drive rifts.
Every💟one wants to close them for theirꦦ own reasons.
Ev꧃ery faction has its own brand of humor. Autie's Choice is a capitalism combo between Auntie Cleo and Spacer's Choice. Apparently there are radios for each faction, up to 20 tracks each. There's a lot of reactivity in the radio where, for example, if you solve a problem for The Protectorate then the radio for that faction will cheer you on.
6 Companions in The Outer Worlds 2 with their own quests. First companion is Niles, another Earth Directorate agent. Niles has a helper drone named Val. Marisol is an aging assassin, Aza is a cultist that worships the rifts and violence in general. Combat medic named Inez wants the player help fix her animal graft, and Tristran is a judge of sort that seeks justice. De𒉰pending on how you treat your companions, things may go poorly for you.
"Gen alp🦋ha loves body pillows for some reason." Ben Schwartz, you know what they do.
Visuals in The Outer Worlds 2 is more World War 1 in space with Auntie's Choice invading. How do y💫ou militarize everything? Propaganda. "We want players to feel like Arcadia is a living breathing place" that's scarred by the events. Fꩵirst town is rebranded by Auntie's Choice with various bits of propaganda.
Important for Obsidian to make all the factions look and feel distinct so that no matter how or when you run across them, they feel of t𝓀heir own. Speaking of running aroun🍷d, sliding and parkour and doublejumping are now key to traversal.
But of course, now just traversal and RPG elements have been toucheꦅd. It's also about the gunplay and weapons here. Ben Schwartz to talk about C.O.M.B.A.T. system which seems... not a real thing.
Honestly, I appreciate these skits becaus🐼e it's an opportunity to take a breath and drink some wa꧂ter. Thanks, Ben.
Focus on improving feel,♚ how it snaps and recoils, impact of sound effects. Unique reload add character, fun and unique weaponry. There's a tumor shooter that you can eat or they explode ܫlike grenades. Another weapon levels up as you use it and shoots out confetti. Popup drone gun distracts with ads and popups. Frag grenades, smoke grenades, distraction devices. Lots of throwables.
Science weapons return! Shrink ray lets you shrink enemies so you can then run them 💝over. And this 👍time? They stay shrunk. "We knew that's what everyone wanted to do." You're not wrong.
New science weapon shoots out masses that look like arms that just... keep hitting people. Melee weapon that lets you attack to the tune of a beaꦅt. And the Big Bang lets you weapon rifts to vaporize enemies. Rare ammo, of course. Science armor includes a skin-like wearabl♒e called Gary that lashes out at nearby enemies.
Outer Worlds 2 lets you swap between first person and third person! What a time 𓂃to be alive.
Biggest game Obsidian has ever made, according to this Direct. More choic🦩es and more stuff to do. First time they've done three games in one year too. 🎃"It's truly an exciting time here at Obsidian." No plans to slow down, either.
Sounds like maybe we're wrapping up here? Montage of environments and gunplay from The Outer Worlds 2, much🍷 fanfare. Ben Schwartz (Mark, Head of Sequels) is back to hype Xbox as we wait for more on Grounded 2.
"We're so proud of Grounded." Apparently over 25 million people have jumped into Grounded and got smol. "The team's been cooking up a ton foꦚr Grounded 2." The sequel offers the chance to "dream bigger," and Obsidian partnered with Eidos Montreal on this one to go from the background to a local community park.
Hyping up Eidos Montreaꦡl and how the two studios share DNA and important directives. Grounded 2 takes places 2 years after the original Grounded and the sꦬame 4 players returns. It's 1992, world's a bit different, still a fun nostalgic era.
Three times to the size of the background, and just the starting area in Grounded 2 is ac🔥tually the size of all of Grounded. That's big!
Grounded 2 offers an opportunity to present mundane things are colossal objects as the park was also evacuated quickly. "That leads to really fun🤡 environmental storytelling" as well as fun biomes to explore. For example, the ice cream vendor's cart has been knocked over and everything spilled to the ground. This becomes a frozen cave to explore with challenges and "Lovecraftian horror."
One anthill, for example, had toxic chemicals buried below it, making for a wild environment. Lots of insects of all shapes and sizes to fight. Changes more significant than just tweaks. Now♌, there's light and heavy attacks, blocking, dashing, to create a more rock-paper-scissors combat as enemies ♔will be able to do the same.
Leaning into playstyles for warriors, rogues, mages, hunters, and so on. Grounded had different mutations and the like that favored certain playstyles, but that's pushed even further in Grounded 2. Archetypes takes this concept even further. Example given of an assassin-style build to surprise and eliminate critter♛s first💞 thing.
Devs are also trying to make sure armor and equipment are clearly underꦡstood, especially in co-op. And Grounded 2 has mounts! Finally! They call them "buggies," apparently. They have unique and valuable abilities and attacks. Not just exploration! Combat, crafting, and building implications. Every single one has its own personality.
Red ant soldier, for example, can enlist tw🦩o more to help out. Orb weaver is great a combat but not much else, letting them stun and entangle other enemies🐽. Great for exploration and combat.
Apparently 🧜ziplines are actually being held back in favor of understanding fully how buggies impact Grounded 2's play. Traversal is going to be different. Another learning from Grounded's game preview, people absolutely zoomed through all of the narrative content. Apparently there's more in Grounded 2 this time.
"We really started to hit our groove at the end of Grounded 1." Experimented with pacing and scope. Bigger, beefier 🐻updates are the plan this time around as that's what players engaged with most the first time around. Launching with a public roadmap.
Looksꦉ like we mig🌠ht be wrapping up here too. Montage of gameplay with lots of buggies.
And so we are! Montage is now of everything that's been shown today. Anything particularly sta𒈔nd❀ out to you? Clockwork Revolution and Invincible VS are probably the two that I personally am most excited about.
It's over! I🐼f you're still here, thank you. What a journey, huh?
