The UK is still going

Unbelievably, all three PlayStation 30th Anniversary special editions are still in🐲 stock in the UK today. I'm not seeing other retailers jumping in as hoped, but the DualSense, Portal, and ♒PS5 are still on the shelves at PS Direct.

PS Direct's latest restock in the US has come to an end

PS Directℱ had the 30th Anniversary DualSense on the shelves for a m🤡inute there, but all I'm seeing now is a 'currently unavailable' sign. It's still listed on the shelves, though, so we could see more waves of availability.

Looks like we're sticking with PS Direct

Other retailers haven't listed any 30th Anniversary PS5 stock yet, so it looks like - while you don't need PS Plus anymore - today's restock is still exclusive to PS Direct. The good news is everything's still available in the UK, the bad news is it's looking unlikely that we'll see another round of availability on that DualSense in the US🎃.

Despite openinꦚg up to non-PS Plus members, the UK is still enjoying bountiful PlayStation 30th Anniversary stock. Ev༺erything is still holding onto its position on the shelves right now, but who knows how long that'll last. After all, the DualSense controller sold out on day one in the US and hasn't returned since.

Landing on those listing pages for the 30th Anniversary PS5 Slim, DualSense, and Portal may be confusing right now. You no longer need to be a PS Plus member to add theജse🐠 to your cart, but you do need to sign into a Sony account. Thankfully, that's free if you don't yet have a console and you'll have one anyway if you're just picking up accessories for your PS5.

In a surprise twist, I'm still seeing stock for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary console, controller, and handheld in the UK. Of course, you'll need 🌼to be a PS Plꦐus member to grab these devices (only for one more day, though).

That's still impressive - none of these limited editions have been regularly on the shelves all year, and they're still holding out nic𒆙ely.

What a day for PlayStation fans

With the UK still enjoying bountiful stock of all three limited edition 30th Anniversary PS5 drops today, and t❀he US slowly recovering from its login issues (things still look active from my last check), it's been a surprisingly strong day for PlayStation fans.

I was expected those shelves to be barren after relea𝓀se, but it looks like Sony stocked up with plenty to g🌌o around for this second chance.

Keep trying to sign in if you're having difficulty

I'm still seeing the 'sign in to buy' button on the US PS Direct store page, so even if you're having trouble getting your account sorted it's still worth trying. This is a competitive restock in the US, wi💧𓄧th no other 30th Anniversary gadgets making their way back to the shelves.

I've just tried to add🧸 the DualSense 30th Anniversary controller to my basket in my most recent check aꦡnd have been stung by the 'sign in to buy' loop.

The s✱ite is seemingly struggling to get all its users logged in in time to grab this PS Plus only restock.

UK stock is still holding strong

The UK is still enjoying a solid restock with the Portal, DualSense, and PS5 console all still availabℱle from PS Direct. That's lasting much longer than I thought it would, with no signs of website crashes or slow-downs.

How to make the most of the US restock

The US will see its own PlayStation 30th Anniversary restock in just over an hour's time. I'm expecting this stock to move much quicker, as it's just the DualSense controller returning to the shelves across the pond. You'll need to be a PS Plus member to have at this stock, so I'd definitely start by signing into your account ahea𒀰d of time.

Once you're in, make sure your payment and delivery details are all up to date and saved in the system. Making your way throu👍gh checkout needs to be as fast as pos✤sible when the time comes, and adding these details takes precious seconds.

Don't expect more stock at wider retailers today

Once again, today's PlayStation 30th Anniversary restock is a PS Direct exclusive so I wouldn't expect to see any new stock from the likesও of Walmart, Best Buy, or Target in the US or Currys, Very, or Argos in the UK. ꧋Still, this morning's UK drop is still holding out surprisingly well so PS Direct already has us covered.

Just over two hours to go until US restocks hit

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary DualSense will be available to pre-order from PS Direct at 7am PT today, that's just over two hours away. As with this morninꦆg's UK drops, you'll need to be a PS Plus member to take advantage of this restock.

No hoarding

PS Direct in both the US and UK has a strict one-item-per-customer rule in place for today's PS Plus restocks, and with good reason. While resellers can get around regular restock restrictions in normal conditi♏ons, the need for that PS Plus membership could be the reason we'👍re seeing stock holding out so well right now.

Where's the DualSense Edge?

The only 30th Anniversary controller on Sony𝔉's shelves right now is the regular DualไSense, there's no Edge stock heading our way today. That's great news for anyone who doesn't need the fancier features of the Pro gamepad, but if you were holding off on the premium pad in the hopes of a retro design you're going to be disappointed today.

That's impressive considering the speed at which𓄧 all this tech sold out last year. Folk are either less jazzed about this retro colorway in 2025 or Sony has been hard at work pumping out new devices.

Of course, if you're not a PS Plus member you can always hedge your bets with Wednesday's 30th Anniversa൩ry𒁏 stock drop. It might be safer to grab a subscription, though.

Will other retailers offer more stock later in the week?

Today's PlayStation 30th Anniversary 🌳restock is limited to PS Plus members only, which means you're unlikely to find any gadgets on alternative retail sites. If stock runs low, it's well worth checking in with the likes of Amazon and Very, but I'm holding out hope for Wednesday.

That's when the floor is opened up to non-subscribers, and could be when third party store♛s are allowed to open up their warehouses.
