New Typing of the Dead wants you to kill zombies and get a job
Because when you're unemployed, you wan🌠t your video games to berate you
When one is unemployed and seeking to find solace through video games, we%26rsquo;re sure it must be a great comfort to play a game that constantly reminds you of your problems. Publisher Sega seem🌃🔜s to think it%26rsquo;s a good idea, at least.
Teaming up with Japanese work placement site %26ldquo;Everybody%26rsquo;s Work Search Activity Journal%26rdquo; (it sounds better in Japanese), Sega plans to release a new PC version of their cult Dreamcast, PC, and Arcade classic, Typing of the Dead. Only this version replaces the arguably normal vocabulary of the original with words related to job hunting and employment in the game%26rsquo;s new special %26ldquo;Job Hunting Mode.%26rdquo; The 💃new word list includes such important things as %26ldquo;The Object of my Dreams,%26rdquo; %26ldquo;Double Disgrace,%26rdquo; and %26ldquo;Stagnant Atmosphere.%26rdquo;
Doesn%26rsquo;t that just fill you with motivation? We can only hope the rest of the 3000 job search-related words are so uplifting. What unemployed Japanese youth wouldn%26rsquo;t want to be told by his video games that his failure to achieve his dreams makes h😼im a disgrace and a slob, doomed to stagnate in front of his computer forꦍever?
