Update: DC has provided a few new details about March's new Teen Titans Academy ongoing series by Tim Sheridan and Rafa Sandoval.

On Monday the publisher released the cover image to the debut issue (above and below) along with this official description.

"Class is in session on March 17, 2021, as the Future State: Teen Titans duo of writer Tim Sheridan and artist Rafa Sandoval join the original Titans – Nightwing, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Beast Boy – school a new generation of teenage crimefighters in a new ongoing series, Teen Titans Academy. Pay close attention, because one of these novice heroes will become Red X!"

DC also revealed Green Lantern will launch in Apr🐟il.

Original story follows

DC announced a slew of new and returning ongoing series after Future State concludes its two-month takeover in January and February, and joining newly-announced 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:ongoing series for Swamp Thin🐷g and Suicide Squad will be new series launches for Green Lantern (not to be confused with Grant Morrison's Green Lantern: Season Two limited series) and as 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Newsarama previously indicated a new Teen Titans Academy series.

Green Lantern will be writt🌳en by Geoffrey Thorne and drawn by Tom Raney, who are the creative team of the main story 'The Last Lanterns' in the Future State: Green Lantern anthology, that happeꦕns to star Justice League team member John Stewart.

According to Future State solicitations, the Academy is founded to mentor young heroes, and its destruction sometime between current-day continuity and Future Stat🍌e and the death🌌 of faculty and students is the key story element in the Future State series.

It seems likely DC will somehow incorporate Red X into this new series, either as Red X or whoever is behind the mask in a prior identity, as it seems unlikely the publisher would pull the character over from the animated Teen Titans series only to have him make two appearances in Future State.

I'm not just the Newsarama founder and editor-in-chief, I'm also a reader. And that reference is just a little bit older than the beginning of my Newsarama journey. I founded what would become the comic book news site in 1996, and except for a brief sojourn at Marvel Comics as its marketing and communications manager in 2003, I've been wrᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚiting about new comic book titles, creative changes, and occasionally offering my perspective on important industry events and developments for the 25 years since. Despite many changes to Newsarama, my passion for the medium of comic books and the characters makes the last quarter-century (it's crazy to see that in writing) time spent doing what I love most.
