NBC Renews Grimm And Revolution For New Seasons
Second season ꦚfor the JJ Abrams power cut drama and a third for the supernatural cop﷽ show
Fans of and rejoice, for ye sh🧔all be seeing more episodes of the shows you love.
Today US network NBC has renewed the JJ Abrams-produced Revolution for a second seaso♏n, while supernatural cop show Grimm will be back for a 🍌third season.
Spinning the numbers NBC boasted, “ Revolution is the season's top-rated drama on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and top-rated new series amon🐭g those networks in adults 18-49, scoring a 4.6 rating, 12 share and 11.8 million viewers overall in ‘most current’ averages for the season to date.” Um, does anybodyꦯ understand what that means?
Grimm meanwhile, “is Friday's #1 series in adults 18-49 and is up versus one year ago by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (with a 2.4 vs. the year-ago 2.1🌠, ‘most current’) and is up 12 percent in total viewers (6.9 million vs. 5.2 million).” Yeah, we got the “up” bit. Up is good, isn’t it?
Anyway – hurrah! Congratulations to both shows. Especially Grimm , which, when it launched, we were convinced was going to be cancelled within half a s♌eason and has actually not only proved us wrong, but actually become pretty blimmin’ goo💎d in the process. Mainly thanks to Monroe (we could still happily live with Nick‘s drippy girlfriend being killed off, though).
