We've heard hardly a squeak from Digital Illusions' Mirror's Edge since it was announced last summer, but f🅰irst in-game screenshots have f🌟inally surfaced.

Digital Illusions, best known for the Battlefield series, is making the grand promise t❀hat Mirror's Edge will redefine the way players move in a first-person game. Essentially, it's FPS combined with free running.

"We want to change the way that players are able to move in first person," senior producer Owen O🎐'Brien has said.

"No more restrictions, no more being blocked by simple barriers such as walls and fences. We want to enable the player to move like a real person, with the ability to run, jump, vault and slide in a way that has ෴never been ღseen before in a first person game."
