The Minecraft movie's new director is Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
There's really no other way to put this, so better to just come out and say it: Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is directing the Minecraft movie. Mojang announced earlier today th𓂃at Rob McElhenney, who created and stars in the FXX comedy series, will lead the Warner Bros. pr🅰oduced picture.
The majority of McElhenney's credits come from It's Always Sunny, and judging by the below tweet, the film will ret📖ain his absurd sense of💙 humor. Maybe fewer jokes about crack cocaine, though.
Hey ꦏ@Mojang let's do something strange and w♑onderful.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - tಞhough the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff wri🧜ter here at GamesRadar.
