Meet the iPhone X: "It is all screen"

Today, live from the stage of the Steve Jobs theater, Apple condemned us all to financial ruin with the reveal of its 𝔍. The rumors were true: the O𓆏LED screen shone like a small sun, and the announced price was as high as the audience hype levels. Here are the facts.

Price: From $999

Pre-order: October 27

Release date: November 3

"It is al🐼l screen," said Phil Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Apple Inc. That new screen has a super retina display, and uses an Apple-flavored OLED technology that promises HDR, great colors, and "all that we expect from an iPhone display."

The ♛Home button is out, face recognition is in (called Face ID), and the face tracking means Apple can now deliver Animojis. They're adorable, they're funny, and most importantly, you can now create emojis and clips of yourself as an expressive, talking poop. Truly, mankind has peaked.

It also packs wireless charging, the ARKit augmented reality technology, and a better battery life - two hours more than the iPhone ꦅ7. If you really want to get into the guts of the thing you'll find an A11 Bionic chip, which Apple proܫmises means "enables incredible new machine learning, AR apps and immersive 3D games."

Apple also revealed the i🅷Phone 8 and 8 Plus, a new Apple Watch that can do everything with cellular instead of relying on an iPhone, but that was just the appetiser to the iPhone X.
