Luke Cage finds a better use for a car door in first teaser trailer

澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:San Diego Comic Con 2016 is currently in full swing, and one of the many panels that took place yesterday was f♐or Luke Cage. The Netflix brand of Marvel Television has been going from strength to strength these pꦐast couple years, and while Cage was a great secondary character in Jessica Jones the time has come for Marvel's bulletproof hero to take centre stage.
Earlier this week we got the 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:first poster for🔜 the upcoming series, and now the fantastic teaser trailer that debute🌠d during the panel has made its way online. Check it out below...
I'm really, really liking this trailer; The nonchalant manner in which Cage takes out those foolish enough to try and figh𒁃t him is both hilarious and just plain cool, and the use of ODB's 'Shimmy Shimmy Ya' to soundtrack the clip is inspired.
Speaking of the musicality of the show, during the panel showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker described the show as a "Wu-Tangification of the Marvel Universe, meaning that it’s got attitude, iܫt’s got grit, but it’s elegant at the same time. Every differe🍸nt episode is named after a different gangsta song. I wanted the thirteen episodes to feel like an album".
That sounds great to me, but it's Coker's next quote that really resonated; ""As you know, there aren’t a ♛lot of black superheroes, and Luke Cage stood out. Not only is he strong, he’s funny, he's cool. And even now, even though the character came out in '72, when I think about what’s going on now, the world is read🎉y for a bulletproof black man".
AMEN, Mr. Coker.
Starring Mike Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Rosario Dawson, Frank Whaley, and Sônia Braga, season 1 of Marvel's Luke Cage makes its Netf𝓡lix debut on September 30, 2016.
