Looks like we'll have a PlayStation VR price and release date next week

Sony has sent out invitations to a PlayStation VR-focused event which will take place March 15, durin🌺g the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC). The company itself isn't saying much beyond the time, date, place, and that there will be hands-on demos available after the presentation, but the whispers on the wind suggest this cou🉐ld be the day Sony reveals its virtual reality headset's price and release date.

While GDC isn't usually the place for such reveals, it was at GDC 2014 that we first saw PlayStation VR - or as it was then called, Project Morpheus. Sony's other major competitors in the burgeoning VR market, Oculus and HTC/Valve, have already announced prices and release dates for their headsets, so it wouldn't be too surpr𒆙ising for S🍌ony to finally do the same.

If you want to place some bets on the peripheral's final cost and release date, here's some helpful info to keep in mind: The Oculus Rift costs $600, while the HTC Vive costs $800. Both require more powerful hardware than a PS4 to run and are more advanced in terms of physical specs. Sony CEO Andrew House says we can expect PlayStation VR to 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:cost roughly the same as a new con꧟sole. And lastly, earlier this year, GameStop Paul Raines said that 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:PlaySta꧂tion VR will arrive in the fall.

Just one week until we find out more.
