Xbox 360 isn't exactly short of first-person shooters but a surprise X06 announcemღent sees Doom, the genre's granddaddy, hit Xbox Live Arcad꧃e.

Available now over the service, all four of the original Doom episodes (yes, four, including Ultimate 🎃Doom's Thy Flesh Consumed) can be played with up to four-player co-op. And, as it's the game that coined the term 'deathmatch', four-player killfests will also feature - which will likely take some adjusting to, being set before the days of quad-camping rocket hogs or dual-wielded Needlers.

In other Live Arcade X06 news, five new Arcade titles (including the sequ🐬el to Mutant Storm) will be released before the end of the year, as well as Lumines Live and four retrﷺo titles: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Defender, Contra and Gyruss.
