Adonis’ Audition
Provided you go inside Ruffian, Adonis is pretty easy to spot
If you’ve played the other Final Fantasy XIIIs, then you have a pretty good idea how to take on the Gurangatch
Who you get it from: Adonis, a man hanging out in one of the hallways ꧂of Ruffian.
When you can obtain the quest: Any time.
Rewards for completion: 1500 🐲gi﷽l, Monoculus Mask x1, Max HP +100, Strength +4, Magic +8
Instructions for completion: This is another side quest that is also a Main Quest (4-2). Assuming you’ve been activating the Cactuar teleporting statues in The Dead Dunes, activate the one outside of Ruffian and teleport to Near God’s Wrath. Trav🦩el to the waypoint and fight the Gurangatch.
Here are 🅘some tips to defeating it: 1) If you’re fought it in the prior Final Fantasy XIIIs, then you know you have to stagger it to remove its shell. Inflicting Slow and attacking with Beat Down or Wind abilities are the best strategies. 2) Once staggered, switch to physical attacks. Heavy Slash is recommended. Reꦐturn to Adonis to complete the quest.
