J.K. Simmons will be Commissioner Gordon in the Justice League movies
There aren't many actors who can say they've had significant roles in both Marvel and DC films, but as of y🤡esterday you can add J.K. Simmons to the list. The Oscar-winning actor was perfectly cast as J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films, and now he'll be getting a chance to put his stamp on an iconic DC🎶 character.
According to , Simmons will play Commissioner Gordon in 澳洲幸运5开奖号码历史查询:Zack Snyder's Justice League films (and presumably Ben Affleck's solo Batman films if and when they happen). He'll be the fifth actor to take on the role of Gotham City's top cop in live action, following the likes of Neil Hamilton, Pat Hingle, Gary Oldma☂n, and Ben McKenzie.
This news is definitely in our tempo; in addition to having proved he can rock a moustache, Simmonඣs is one of the best character actors in the business. Seeing as Gordon probably won't have that much screen time in Justice League, here's hoping Warner Bros. pulls the trigger on the solo Batman movie sooner rather than later.
Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadotꦫ, Jason Mamoa, J.K. Simmons, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fish🙈er, Justice League: Part 1 is currently scheduled for a November 17, 2017 release.
