A new🐽 Horizon Forbidden West patch has fixed an issue where Aloy could be heard breathing during a certain quest’s cutscenes.
Announced by developer Guerrilla in the , the recently-released follow-up to Horizon Zero Dawn has received a number of fixes and improveme𒆙nts in the form of a new 1.08 patch. There’s been a lot of🦹 small tweaks throughout the game, so if you want to get a full list, we will include the Reddit post below.

One of the 'Main Quest' fixes in the patch notes includes an issue some players were experiencing where during the 'Thebes' quest, Aloy could be heard breathing whi꧙lst cutsc🔯enes were playing. Depending on the cutscene, this could come across as creepy, hilarious, or just inappropriate. So it’s a good thing this has been patched out of the game now.
Another main quest issue that’s been resolved in this update was affecting the 'All That Remains' quest which caused Aloy to spawn in the Base and left players unable to leave. Speaking of limiting players, some fans reported instances during 'The Dying Lands' main quest where Varl and Zo would sometimes remain idle o𝔉utside of Plainsong and block any progression. This has also now been fixed.
