Hitman stars Zachary Quinto and Rupert Friend on the bad, the bald and the NES

Agent 47 is having a renaissance in 2015. Not on👍ly is Square-Enix rebooting t🧔he Hitman video game series with a new episodic game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, I/O Interactive's thorny assassin tale is also returning to the big screen.

Hitman: Agent 47 succeeds on 🏅a fundamental level that the 2007 film adaptation failed at miserably: it's got a great cast. Rupert Friend, best known for his performance as Peter Quinn on Homeland, is a surprisingly excellent fit for the chilly, lethal Agent 47. Playing opposite him is none other than Zachary Quinto, playing rival John Smith who certainly equals 4൲7 in terms of looking badass in a suit. We talked with both stars about playing bad guys, preparing for action hero baldness, and classic games.

I've been playing games since I turned four in 1986, been writing about them since 1987, and writing about them professionally since 2008. My wife and I live in New York City. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game ever made, Hum's Downward is Heavenward is my favorite album, and I regularly find myself singing "You Won't See Me" by The Beatles in awkward situations.
