Guitar Hero DS won't use touch screen

How will Guitar Hero be played on DS? That's the big question for Vicarious V🔜isions, the developer taking care of the handheld conversion. Contrary to expectation🎶s, however, the game won't use the stylus.

Unlike in Ubisoft's guitar simulator Jam Sessions, which has players using the stylus to strum on-screen ♏strings, Guitar Hero DS won't use the touch screen as a primary input at all, revealed design manager, Adrian Earle.

This leads to further speculation that the game may be bundled with a special peripheral to aid the experienc🔯e. Something considerably smaller than the normal guitars, mind.

Despite the technical limitation, Earle alsosaid that the DS game will remain faithful to the💮 graphical style of the console versꦡions, with full 3D backgrounds. Sounds promising.
