The first big update ♏concludes the Liyue chapter of the main story

Genshin Impact update 1.1 is going li🤡ve today, bringing the biggest collection of new content and features to the game since its full release back in September.
The update adds in new story quests which finish out the Liyue story ar🍌c, while also adding in a set of four new story characters to the Wish pool for gacha-collecting. The two five-star standouts are Childe, a hydro archer who can break his bow into a pair of blades to instantly swap between ranged and melee, and Zhongli, a geo spear wielder who uses his earth powers to become an area-of-effect monster while keeping up a strong defense. They're rounded out by new four-stars Xinyan, a claymore wielding rocker girl, and the arrow-and-cocktail flinging Diona.
The headlining feature in update 1.1 is the city reputation system which will unlock at Adventure Rank 25. By completing tasks and quests tied to Mondstadt and Liyue, players can "unlock bountiful rewards and brand-new, region-exclusive items." Rewards include city-exclusive quality of life bonuses, recipes, namecards, and wind gliders.
