Emilia Clarke has been cast in the upcoming spin off Han Solo Star Wars movie and will "meet Hanꦯ and Chewie" according to an official .
Let's just have moment for that to sink in.
The announcement states that Clarke will "round out a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures." She joins Alden Ehrenreich staring as the scruffy nerf herder, Donald Glover, recently confirm꧟ed👍 to be playing a young Lando Calrissian, and an as yet u🥃ncast, 𝔍but obviously crucial, appearance from Chewie.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest she's going to be a bad guy,🐟 if not the villain. I don't know why, it just feels right.

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller and starring Alden Ehrenreich, the Han Solo standalone movie is scheduled to open🦄 on May 25, 2018.
