Gabriel Mann and Eliza Dushku open The Thacker Case
An indie based oꦏn a real-life wrongful death suit…
While Eliza Dushku waits out the writers’ strike for Joss Whedon to start work on his new TV show (that would be Dollhouไse), she’s keeping busy.
The actress has signed on to The Thacker Case alongside The Bourne Supremacy’s Gabriel Mann. They’✅ll play a crusading attorne🤪y and his main legal assistant in the movie, which follows the real-life case of Kevin Thacker’s wrongful death.
The regular drunk-driver was found dead in an alley behind the small town Iowa police department following his latest arrest for the crime. Stuart Pepper (Ma🍰nn) led the case to uncover police corruption and conspiracy, which drew naౠtional attention across the pond.
John Savage has also joi𓂃ned the film, playing Thacker’s father, who brou🅺ght the case in the first place.
Briaಞn Jun haဣs just started directing the movie in LA this week.
